Got a manicure spur of the moment. they took me without an appointment which was so great. I didnt have a lot of time before I had to do other things they were quick without me even telling them that. I wanted a pedicure just didnt have time so here I am the day after my manicure getting a pedicure. The staff is great an all work well together. Its been such a long time since Ive been able to do this for myself and they made me glad that I did. Thank you healthy nails spa

I had a wonderful experience. The woman that did my gel pedicure was very kind and did my toes exactly how I asked. The store was very clean and they moved efficiently (I arrived around 10:30/10:45 and was out before noon). I will definitely be back!

Was able.to get a midafternoon appointment on short notice. First time going there. Philip took good care of my pedicure and was very easy going. He said they had just renovated recently. It looks nice, everything is quite clean and pricing lists with services explained are readily available. Easy, enjoyable and relaxing experience.

I went here to have my dip powder nails taken off and new polish put on, and while the manicurist I had was very sweet, it was very obvious he did not know what he was doing. It seemed like every 10 seconds he was apologizing for something he did, either filing my nail too close, the fact he filled the flat part of my nail down to almost nothing, or clipping skin. I am fully aware dip powder can damage your nails, but I’ve had them before, and never have they been as brittle and thin as they were when I had them taken off here. I’m a month out from when I had this done, and they are still breaking and damaged. The fact my nails are still damaged from what they did, and that I was nervous the whole time I was there since my manicurist made it clear he was also uncertain, make me strongly recommend you find somewhere else to go.

I always get my nails done here and I am never disappointed. The staff is very nice and my nails always come out amazing. I always recommend people to come to this nail spa.

This shop has a great relaxing atmosphere. They sanitize everything & take proper social distancing measures that made me comfortable. My nail tech was personable & did a detailed job on my nails, as this was my first visit to a nail shop since the pandemic began.

I went inside for a walk-in and she told me the wait was 7 mins, I waited over 20 mins. I scheduled and appointment to come back the next day. The technician didn’t do a good job and I was not satisfied. One of the nails she repaired came off a few days later. Never again. Poor quality work.

I usually dont write reviews, but after reading reviews on this place I decided to go for a day of relaxation and to get ready for my birthday. I can confirm all the reviews, the staff are great. They have amazing personalities and professionalism. My tech asked questions and made conversations at perfect timings. She could tell when I was relaxed and enjoying the services. Moments later and after great convo I asked her name and she replied Tina. I got excited cuz I saw all great reviews about Tina and I wanted her as my tech. She is amazing and does great work. My hands and feet felt amazing during the services and still feel amazing now. I recommend going to this spa/salon to be pampered properly.

My manicurist Linh is the best because she cares. I like the way she takes her time taking care of my nails and my ingrown nails. She’s my manicurists for two years. Updated Post - 28 Mar 2021: Tiffany did a great job removing our SNS and Gel! She was super gentle while removing my gel since I’ve had my nails done far too often in such a short period of time. Thanks again, we appreciated your services.22 Mar 2021: 2/5 star - I’ve gone to Jenny twice and both times, she was rough with the instrument utilized for SNS removal and replacement. I requested gel today and I am left with bubbles under the polish. The coats are not consistent. Needless to say, I will not return to her. On the bright side, Eric did a great job on my friends nails. He gets a 5/5 star rating.

Been here twice so far and both times were good. My nails lasted for weeks until I got them done again.

As a transplant from Ohio, while still trying to establish business relationships, I stumbled upon this establishment and I must stay, I am so glad I did! 1st the safety protocols are exceptional, COVID-19 compliant, and second the customer care and advocacy is totally awesome. A win-win environment! The technician, no Specialist, Eric is phenomenal. I highly recommend this business and graciously say, Thank you, to the staff, for every visit has been a feel good experience and a reminder that there are businesses that are still devoted to providing superior customer service. Decor is nice but this place is overpriced. They charge for everything including the removal of polish and my bill was over $300 for 2 pedis and gel fill ins. Never again.

This gel set is about 3 weeks old. I had gone to another salon in Arlington and they didn’t even made them last one week. What i went for i didnt get was Charged for gel pedicure and manicured . I brought my own gel polished and recieve a regular manicured and pedi.

Although I live in DC, I have been getting my manicures and pedicures here for over a year. I have found the staff to be courteous and helpful. My manicurist is excellent. The salon is quiet , the decor is tasteful and well lit. Some may find the services pricey but the experience is worth it.

Extremely disappointed with this place. I got holographic nails the lady ran out of the color in the middle of my hands and just decided to put a different holographic color on the rest of my nails without asking me or even telling me. I paid $85 for this and this is not acceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend anybody wasting their money in this place. This is not the only mistake theyve done I had been going to this place for a couple months now and this was just the last straw because I cant continue to pay for people who half ass their work. Again I would not recommend this place.

I was pleased with the nail tech Diamond . However the older woman who serviced my feet did terribly . She kept going on and on over every single thing she did for me . “I massaged this way .” Etc , as if she was working her way to a bigger tip . Work should speak for itself . The tech shouldn’t have to . However the receptionist is the ABSOLUTE WORST!! Extremely rude! 0 customer service skills for the price !

They opened a new sponge for my feet. I love that they are sanitary. I ate as many snacks as I wanted while my nails dried at no exrta cost. Really friendly staff. The place is beautiful.

The salon looks nice but the customer service is extremely poor, the staff does not listen to requests from the customer and they are overpriced. The lady who did my nails complained about doing my nails, never said hello to me, on top of trying to begin working on my nails after working on a customers feet. I had to ask her to wash her hands and she thought I was asking to wash mine - unsanitary and ignorant. Her attitude about doing my nails was so bizarre, considering I have never seen or met this lady in my life. Once I verbally voiced my complaints everyones attitude suddenly shifted. Even the lady at the front desks poor attitude suddenly improved. I would never go to Route 1 for this type of service again (bad decision in the first place). The place looks pretty but it provides low quality service. Also, they cater to certain individuals depending on their skin color (one of the saddest things I observed considering the demographics of that area). If anyone who went here thought their service was exceptional, youve never had good service to begin with (thats how bad it was).

One of the best nail spas Ive used in this area, and Ive used many. I always receive excellent service and I have a standing appointment every three weeks. Its extremely clean, the tools are not reused, they care about the actual state of your nails since they refuse to perform techniques that can harm your nails. They offer various pedicures that are not pricey when considered and compared to other salons. Good parking and easy to get to. I highly recommend this salon.

I received such a lovely mango manicure and was able to give me such a wonderful service! Very very extremely friendly and clean! All of the materials are used properly clean and sanitized. The staff is very friendly and does an amazing job! Im very impressed with their service!

Pricy for low quality service

This is probably one of the nicest and cleanest salons I’ve been to in the area. However, this salon is completely overpriced and the quality is well below mediocre. Unless one wants to spend over $70 for a horribly thin and lumpy fill and polish job to match then this is your place!!! My nails started chipping off around day four. I will never recommend this salon to anyone!!!

Ive been going to Healthy Nail Spa since 2014. Ive found that the salon is consistently clean, tidy and comfortable. The only reason Ive rated my review four stars is that sometimes the skill of the technicians fluctuates from great to average. One of my favorite technicians is Kelly; I highly recommend her for gel/SNS manicures/pedicures. The pricing is reasonable for the DC metro area. I find myself returning to this salon whenever my nails need attention, even though I live in NW DC.

One of the best pedicures in town for a very reasonable price. Get the spa pedicure with peppermint or Lavender!

I walked in for a pedicure shortly after they opened one morning and I got a warm greeting and was quickly seen. The place is actually quite lovely, has an upscale type feel. I wish I could give 5 stars however, I contracted a cuticle infection less than 24 hours after my visit die to either the tools that were used or the pedicure tub not being properly cleaned. As many years as Ive gotten pedicures this was the first time Ive ever gotten an infection due to the salons uncleanliness. If cleanliness is important to you, I would highly recommend asking your tools/equipment to be cleaned in front of you before they start your services.

AMAZING!! I literally just walked out and am sitting in my car. The specialist I had was named Kong and he is so sweet, so attentive, so knowledgable, and makes you feel like you are his number one client. In fact everyone I saw there was receiving well-deserved attention. I cannot say enough good things about this experience and this nail salon. Definitely two thumbs up and I highly endorse Kong if youre looking to ask for a specific specialist.

Today was my first visit and I am looking forward to going back. The staff is friendly and Amy Lieu was my technician. Very thorough and the spa is extremely clean without the odor of typical nail salons. I truly felt pampered!

This place is very very nice, but the gel manicure I got was nothing special and cost me $38 (for the same thing Ive paid $20-25 for at any other salon). I will say that the pedicure I got was nice and reasonably priced. I probably wont go back though....Ivan get the same thing done for much less elsewhere.

My bridesmaids and I went to this salon the day before my wedding and it was the WORST experience I have ever had. First they rush us to pick colors even though it wasnt busy in the salon. I get some lady who thinks talking and texting on her phone is more important than the quality of my nails. Once she rushed and finished my polish she sends me to get my pedicure where I waited for 25 minutes for ANOTHER (rude) lady to begin. The pedicure lasted maybe 8 min and they charged me $28. $28 freaking dollars for this lady to take my polish off and put new on. Not even scrub my feet, massage my legs, nothing. Bottom line is dont go to this salon. My nails were horrible for my wedding and the manager just told me its a learning experience for their employees.

Please dont waste your time or money here. Its not worth it. Go to Yelp to read the reviews and its clear. I had to leave this salon with bare nails after patiently spending an hour with nail techs who smudged and ruined my gel polish (not sure what they were doing, I think they were new). The manager was extremely defensive and very rude, which I found to be quite odd, because I was the one who wasted all that time in his salon while the nail techs treated my nails like a science project. It was ridiculously absurd. Not one apology and complete lack of accountability from the manager. Needless to say I left upset with naked nails. What an awful establishment.

I got a fill-in with gel polish. The day after, my nail breaks and I go back to have it fixed. Usually my gel polish will last up to three weeks without peeling when I go to my normal salon but after three days my polish is peeling on multiple nails. My three week old polish looked better than what I have now. A complete waste of money.

Basic, I got a full set and they feel kinda lumpy. Wont go back.

The best pedicures ever!! My feet stay soft for at least 5-6 weeks everytime. My gel nails are nice as well. Many colors to choose from. Very clean and relaxing environment. Techs dont talk much, if at all..lol..but you are there to relax. Soooo, get yourself one of their many pedicures. You wont be disappointed.

I just went here for the first time. The place inside was nice enough. The color selection was marginal at best. I told Kimmy she could cut a little bit of my nails - they are now half the length they were when I came in. I asked for them to be filed square - they are not straight and all uneven lengths even after I asked her to fix them. Then the polish - regular mani - plain old painting fingernails. My 7 year old niece could have done a better job. Nothing is even, they are streaky and messy. Maybe its because I said no to a pedi and she was upset that I was just getting a mani but boy am I glad I didnt waste any extra money here. Never again...and now, to boot, I have a photo shoot this week with nails that are a complete disaster.

My mom and I love going here when were really stressed out. Pretty much everyone who works here knows how to take care of you and how to curtail services to the client.There are a few exceptions. After one bad experience, I choose to no longer let any of the males there work on me. The female gender as a whole is usually pretty intuitive and better at reading emotions/reactions even if there is a language barrier. But that one bad experience would not affect my rating of 5 stars. I would give 10 if I could!

Very clean, friendly staff. A LOT of SNS powder colors available! Walk in appointment at 11am Monday, SNS removal and full set was $50. got serviced right away. Nita took are of me. I like how they removed my old polish, regular foil, but then they add gloves, (so I can grab my phone) they also put my hands in this heating pad hand warmer thing, which cut down my time waiting to half. Normally I have to wait what seems to be 30 to 40 mins and a lot of buffing for the polish to lift. With they method they used. It only took about 15 mins and one buff! Nita was very friendly, her attention to detail was EVERYTHING. Best SNS set Ive had so far! The ginger tea is also AMAZING! Will be back.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I came in to remove my acrylics and get gel. The nail tech was very rough with removing my acrylics. She just cut and ripped them off quickly. She was insistent that I get a pedicure like my friends. I ordered the ocean pedicure that is $50. The nail tech rushed through everything and burned me about four times during. It was supposed to be a 55 minute pedicure and it was more like 20. There were several rude requests to pay during my experience. Why would I pay for something before it’s done? After I said something about how awful everything was, the nail tech sent me to wash my hands and was making faces and mocking me to her coworkers. I’ve never felt worse going to a nail salon. After the nail tech “finished” I left my friends to go cry in my car.

Most of the workers are very thorough in cleaning the nails but they can be slightly fast in doing there painting technique sometimes my nails arent fully dry but I love how great they clean my nails!

Probably wont go back - seemed clean and got great reviews so gave it a try. Came in with my sister in law and niece (age 7) as they had kids/childrens manicures posted on their website. Staff acted annoyed that we were even there. The tech doing my sister in law was really pushy about doing a gel instead of regular manicure, which she didnt want. My gel take off included the tech applying acetone and foil and leaving it on for 2-3 minutes (tops) - didnt even try to break up the polish before he started scraping and dremelling. The nail drying station is in an awkward corner and they didnt help with moving purses or even turn the fans on for us, and when I scraped the polish climbing over 2 other customers the tech acted annoyed when I asked him to fix it, and just painted over the top coat with a new coat of color. The actual manicure was fine, and the salon clean enough, but given the lackluster service Id try one of the many other salons in the area.

I think this place is average. I am getting a pedicure and manicure right now and it’s $50. I think that’s really overpriced for the basic service. Overall the people is clean and quiet.

I went to go get a pedicure from this place and they did a HORRIBLE JOB. I asked the lady to cut my nails down and she didn’t file them at all. ALL of my nails are crooked and look a mess on top of that they barely scrape the dead skin off the bottom of your foot and charge over $30 for a BASIC Pedicure. They are not worth it ! Do not go !! I’m warning you now

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The nail tech did a horrible job for aryclic nails and i paid $40, i felt like i wasted my money. My nails are bumpy and messy.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!I was never told they charge $12 extra to remove gel polish... not only that, but the guy who did my pedi was the worst. He didnt want to touch my nails.. AND.. it took him about 15-20 minutes to do my pedi... NEVER AGAIN!!! I was super upset that I had to pay $41 for a 15 min pedi.. I always go to sunshine nails and my guy Juan ALWAYS does an excellent job, but hes out of town.... Ugh!!!!
