My husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday to get my hair done and Mike was the stylist that helped me. He completely transformed my hair for half the price I payed at Style America. The salon was clean and professional and my hair looks beautiful. Im grateful I found a salon I can trust :)

First time at this salon. I went in for highlights. I was concerned they would turn out orange or reddish. Julie listened to what I wanted and assured me the highlights will not be orange or reddish. She is professional and very friendly. My hair came out better than I expected and better than the high priced salon I previously went to. Thank you Julie and I will come back!!!!

I came in to get my hair dyed. My hair was in need of some color and care. I came in knowing what I wanted and showed the exact picture to one of the ladies working there. She said my hair looked horrible and died my hair a completely different red color than in the picture. It came out a bright red color instead of the color I wanted. I told the lady and she just said that that was the color I wanted. She asked me if I wanted to tone it and I said yes. After she finished toning it it still looked nothing like the picture. She got one of the guys working there to tell him that that’s what I wanted. Thankfully the guy told the lady (Julie) that she messed up. He redyed my hair for about the 3rd time and made it look a lot better but still nothing like the picture. The lady never apologized. After that I didn’t even get a discount on the price. Mike ( the one who fixed my hair) did a great job with my hair, but it still didn’t look like the picture.

Julie is fantastic! For months, I had been considering cutting my hair to a short, messy bob; I made a Pinterest board and everything. Finally fulfilling my impulse desire, I followed positive reviews to Forever Beauty where I met Julie. I showed her photos of the haircut I desired, and she got to work. In under 10 minutes, Julie pretty much finished up chopping inch after inch of hair, leaving my hair fluffy and layered to perfection. She gave me the cut of my dreams, even modifying it just a little so it would best suit my face shape.The whole experience was lovely; the other stylists were friendly and charismatic with their clients, so the atmosphere was amiable all around. The prices are good too.The next time I want masterfully cut layers, I know Ill be heading to Forever Beauty to see Julie. I recommend her, as she is skilled in her craft!

At almost 64 years old, this is possibly the best salon experience Ive ever had.First time visit, requested Kelly because of reviews specifically commenting on her work. I knew within the first few minutes interacting with her that she knew what she was doing and I would be comfortable with her. Quick, cheap and great haircut. Cozy place with nice windows. Lots of hair product and shampoos available. Fun banter from the hairdressers made me giggle the whole time! Highly recommended! ❤❤❤❤

Kelly was awesome! I came in not really knowing what I wanted with my hair besides a wash, 3-4 inch trim, and a style. Kelly made me feel welcome from the second I walked in and engaged in conversation with me the entire time she was doing my hair. After she did the initial cut and styled it, she went back in and did some trimming here and there which made me feel like she was paying special attention and going above and beyond to make sure my hair was the way I wanted it. My hair looks great now! On top of the amazing service I received from Kelly, I couldnt believe the total! I had a really bad experience at a high quality salon about 6 months prior and paid $60 for a simple wash cut style that I absolutely hated, so I couldnt believe it when Kelly said my total was less than $25!! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Kelly!!

My daughter and I saw Kelly Shea, she is a master at her craft. Every where we go my daughter (7 yrs old) gets complimented in her hair. We both have thick curly hair, so it is hard to find a stylist that knows how to cut and style curly hair. I highly reccomend her, and her prices are fair especially for the quality of work and the quality of products she uses.

I walked in with an uneven, grown out mess and walked out with a cute, stylish cut. My hair feels so healthy, it moves beautifully,and Julie even gave me some awesome styling ideas before I left. Great experience!

I went in today and got highlights and a haircut done by the sweet ann. She is very nice and will do exactly what you tell her. she did a very good job and i will recommend her to anybody who needs a good salon service!!I had a very weird hair that she had to work with, i dyed it black then i stripped the color out and dyed it brown. She was able to give me gorgeous highlights :)

I loved it! My haircut looks amazing and the guys there are so nice and funny. It’s pretty cheap too, my haircut was $31 and change with tip included plus they shampood and conditioned my hair before the cut.It’s a really cool place and it’s a really relaxed atmosphere.

I went to do the salon and I asked for a highlight, I showed Julie the picture, and she basically dyed my hair instead of giving me the brightness I asked for. I told her I not to do it brassy, but she did the complete opposite. My hair is basically brassy orange now. I also I had the worse experience regarding customer service. She kept complaining and saying I have long hair and that anyone would refuse to work with my hair.

They take care of my little kids like Id imagine they take care of their own. I appreciate their kindness, patience, and the results for sure.

I got my hair done yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. They charged me only $65 for haircolor, cut, and style which was just half of what I had to pay for my hair when I came to other salons. Mike, the one took care of me, was excellent. I wont go anywhere else.

Being a travel physician and constantly on the go, its​ hard to visit your hairdresser regularly. I am glad I found Mike through Yelp and Google reviews. The first time he cut my hair was in December 2017 and the second time was September 2018; nearly a year apart and he remembered​ me. Both were perfect. He is my hairdresser in ABQ when I fly there for work.UPDATE:I have also been getting my hair cut by Ken as​ well. Apparently, Ken cuts Mikes hair and Mike schedule is fairly busy. Ken is amazing. You cant go wrong with him. I highly recommend both of them if you are in or new to. ABQ.

This is probably the worst haircut I have ever received. I asked for some light layers and no length taken off. The hairstylist cut of a few inches, and gave me choppy, unwanted bangs. I now have basically a mullet. Would NOT recommend this place for even a simple haircut.

Got exactly what i asked for and i Love my cut.

Avoid going here. My hair has never been cut so poorly. She didnt even wet it down and its so crooked and uneven that inches will need to come off to make it look decent. There is serious an inch gouge in the back of my hair. I have no idea if this was out of anger that the woman on the end ruined my hair. Im so disappointed.

Just horrible. I’ve been to this salon several times. Not a frequent customer but I did favor this place. However this is the worst! I should have taken the hint when she didn’t let me look in the mirror until she had to. Just ugly. Poorly done. Awful. Not taking my business there ever again. I won’t wven allow them to fix this mess. Sorry Mike but even you knew this was a poor job...
