I was happy to find they are open Sundays. The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms and equipment are clean and they have good COVID protocols. My was was done quickly and well. Ill definitely return.

If i could give zero stars i would at first it was nice but then she started blaming me for my eyebrows being crazy and she took off half of my eye brow ruined my arch

Every single woman I have ever spoken to has been professional, kind, patient, explains everything to me, makes sure the service and products I’m receiving are compatible with my skin and needs. They are always on time and flexible if you need to change your appointment. The studio is always spotless. I’m always welcomed with a smile and positivity and they even ask if I need water when I walk in. Stephanie is my cerologist but I’m confident you can’t go wrong with anyone. I recommend WTC to every one for their waxing needs. Club orange saves you some money so I highly suggest that. I LOVE going to WTC

I have actually NEVER written a review before. But this place is AMAZING. I cannot believe how friendly, clean, and organized this place is. Celina was my waxer and she made me feel SO comfortable. Not only that it was the most PAINLESS wax I have EVER had, and I have been to many places. They use tiny strips, which seems like it would be more painful cause it is more time being waxed, but surprisingly I didnt even squirm. I was able to have a comfortable conversation the ENTIRE time! Also they take their time, which I love. We spend good money for waxing. And sometimes I am out of my appointments in 20-30minutes with a lot of services. Celina took her time and I can tell that she cared, I also didnt feel uncomfortable or awkward if I wanted something different or something more waxed. AWESOME PLACE, YOU WONT REGRET GOING HERE!

Nice salon with minimal wait.I’ve been here for some waxing. I’m trying to lighten up some area before a big tattoo piece. I like that they have an app to check and make appointments. They send a text as a reminder. Check in is easy. I tend to go around lunch and haven’t had a problem with long waits. Great place.

Needed to get my legs waxed before going on a trip and it was very worth it! Lauren is so sweet and amazing!! There was a complication with my appointment but she still managed to squeeze me in and did an amazing job!!

Professional, friendly, and not pushy with extra services or products. Very hygienic! The only place in Albuquerque that Ive found that is consistent, uses hard wax, and doesnt push me super hard on a loyalty program. On the high end in price compared to other waxing salons in other cities, but I dont mind because I have had too many negative experiences at other Albuquerque salons, and I trust these folks to get it right the first time. The building is large with multiple private rooms for services.

Cannot recommend enough! Much more pleasant experience than Ive had elsewhere. They take their time and do very small areas; instead of trying to do huge sections in one fell swoop (the smaller sections do take a little longer so budget your time accordingly). I also appreciated that you can tip on your card.

Since my review below, I gave WtC another try and was delightfully pleased in the service and attention given. Ive already scheduled my next one. :)The afterwax left something to be desired. When I was told she was finished and she stepped out of the room, I was covered in baby powder down my legs from a bikini wax with no supplies other than tissues to clean up with. I was wearing shorts, so it was very evident. There were still chunks of wax left in odd places with hair still attached in some cases. I did like their wax itself, but not enough to make up for the experience.

I was treated very professionally and the young lady who helped me is an asset to this company. I would recommend Waxing the City to anyone.

I went to Waxing the City for the first time a couple of days ago for an eyebrow wax and tint from Monica G. Normally I have waxed my eyebrows when I get my toenails done. I have never visited a salon devoted to nothing but waxing, and the experience was wonderful! Monica is a talented cerology technician who considers the natural shape of your brow, eyes and face before she even gets to the waxing, tweezing and clipping. She also did a great job of tinting my brows so the color goes with my natural hair color. I have strawberry blonde hair and eyebrows; it is kind of shocking to be able to see my eyebrows without pencil. All in all, a great experience, and I will be returning in 4 weeks to see Monica again for maintenance. The owner is lovely, and the salon is very clean as well. Really, a great experience!! I would recommend Waxing the City to anyone who waxes~female or male!!
