Bought brand new night bulb for my pet ball pythons went home and realized I bought the wrong wattage and drove right back to the store to see if I could exchange it for the right one or simply return for store credit to purchase the correct light bulb but was met with discrimination and hesitation from the manager that witnessed me purchase the product turning me away stating I needed the physical copy of receipt forcing me to purchase the same light just in a lower wattage. I am an advent pet collector and often spend a lot of money at petsmart but will never be spending a single dime there again I understand there are policies in place but the customer service needs to do better! Please bring this to the district managers attention I really hate the negative stigma behind big corporations but I will be going to local more smaller pet stores where I can get nice friendly customer service from now on out!

The groomers here on August 31 and September 1 were AMAZING !. It’s hard trimming one of my dogs nails and instead of handing her back with “this is all I could do” the man there handed her back and said he couldn’t grind her nails very well if I could come back and have another employee give it a try. Most places won’t even care if you got your money’s worth and just hand them back without saying a word! I appreciate you guys ❤️. It took two when I came back to get her nails completely done and I’m grateful For the effort! Ms. Champ got her nails did too lol Lady and the Champ are very grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rude staff! They didn’t have any baskets so I had to carry two 30lb bags of dog food by myself, as a small woman, to the register while 5 different staff members watched me struggle. Then once I get to pay, I didn’t have enough money so I asked if I could run out to my car to get more and the cashier sighed at me and said “yeah I guess”.

All of the employees are polite, and most are helpful. Unfortunately, the person who knows fish the best went on break while I was walking in, and Petsmart still doesnt do a lot to educate their employees on fish needs.Luckily, I have been in the hobby for over 3 decades, so the biggest impact for me is the employee didnt know about stock, or water parameters of the tanks, to reduce stress on fish.Store was clean, employees practice safe pandemic protocols, and cashier is constantly going above and beyond in answering questions (correctly).This is my preferred location, even if its a little further from my home.

A Walmart for pets. Everything you can possibly need for your pets is in stock. Go adopt a pet folks, give them a fun loving home. Or should I say buy! Ill take a animal over a human anytime, these days

Its OK. They dont do military discount on store unlike other petsmart stores. They do have special live meals for lizards that some local stores dont.

I made an appointment approximately ten weeks ago to get my dog a bath and haircut, only to arrive to on time today (with all requisite veterinary paperwork in hand) to be told I had to be rescheduled because the groomer who originally scheduled the appointment was no longer at this location and there was no further availability that day. I was further informed that the groomer in question left the location shortly after I made the appointment itself, meaning that PetSmart had a full 8 or 9 weeks to either fill the vacancy or contact me to reschedule, and yet they did nothing. When I protested, I was informed that I was merely one of the ones who fell through the cracks, which is a fitting metaphor, I suppose, for an establishment that seems to value customers as much as dog trimmings that get brushed to the floor.COVID-related excuses about short-handedness, etc. are understandable, but only go so far when you a) use computers for scheduling and b) have at least two months to correct this kind of thing in advance.Review is three stars instead of only one because this salon does, in fact, do good work taking care of dogs, i.e. - if they deign to perform the requested service at the scheduled time.

My boy Scrappy was going in for surgery so I stopped in to get him a new harness and a couple other things he would need. Great selection of Kong harnesses, treats and toys.

William was a very nice person including the rest of the staff.

Today was excellent! My Molly completely enjoyed her spa day! We enjoyed the plus package with cutting! Completely worth the time may I include we got lucky and were able to be seen the following day from making the appointment. It really was a great experience and to include with this awesome package that only costed the mere $81 is a 20% off the next two appointments just so Molly is familiar with their environment and all visitors! Her tech is Charlie I would highly recommend her!

I wont go back to this store. Not only was I ignored by an associate because I needed help, but I got 3 things of Waxworms because they were out of Superworms. Well not only did the containers clearly not have 50 Waxworms in them, even an associate looked at them, but the Waxworms are dead. They are white which means they should be alive but they havent moved at all. Even after being out of the fridge for quite a while. While I was there, I noticed every fish tank had multiple dead fish in them. One tank had at least 10 dead fish and 2 live ones.

Have to be careful what you order. Food tends to be put together very messy. Fries are never cooked so substitutes are recommended. Ive literally had to try and eat sandwiches with a knife and fork to avoid wearing my dinner.

Its nice! Its clean! But its way too overpriced! I usually just go next door to Walmart and get things there for cheaper! Things like toys, and water bowls! The prices at Pets mart are just too high! Everyones nice and polite there!

I normally do not trust anyone with my dog Loki, but I was told by a friend that a fantastic job was done by a girl named Meranda that works at the PetSmart on Eubank in Alb. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. Not only was Meranda great with Loki she was also very nice a explained everything that they were going to do. PetSmart is lucky to have Meranda working for them because she is exactly the type of person they need there. I will definetly be taking him back as long as Meranda is there.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable personnel, groomers were very good with my 4 dogs.

Went looking for some Vital small breed freshpet dog food didnt find any. None of the petsmart have any. Thats the only dog food our little one eats. Not happy with petsmart . I dont know if the company that makes the food is having trouble. Also was looking for a harness for a small dog not much of a selection.

We usually go to PetCo however today we purchased our food at Petsmart and will be switching to this store.At Petco the shelves were empty where the 2 different 30 pd bags of dog food we needed usually are. 4 employees were standing around talking and sharing something on their phone while standing next to bags of dog food we needed on pallets blocking an isle. We asked if there was any way they could take the clear wrap off so we could purchase the bags. We were told try back some time later next week. So, Petsmart it will be for future purchases.

Well stocked and friendly employees. Its a smaller location, and not as busy as the others in Albuquerque from my experience.

Unfortunately, that day I received no help from the three associates I saw pass by me. Too much joking around with a lot of aisles blocked with pallets. One store associate kept saying she had to pee. It was a joke that day.

Please get better enclosures to hold the reptiles like for example the chameleons need a WAY bigger cage and the glass walls are awful for them. Also chameleons do not drink from a water bowl they drink from droplets of water or moving water. I would recommend getting bigger enclosures for ALL the reptiles those cages are all way too small. You are a big business I know you can afford proper reptile care

Not Coming back here EVER AGAIN for fish. I got 2 fish to put in my 55 gallon community fish tank with 35+ fish in it. 2 days later ALL my fish got Ich. I know that it was not me because I have had these fish for over a month and some for 3+ years and were just fine until I put the new fish from this store in. Less than a week later they were ALL DEAD. Did what I could to prevent them from dying by medicating them but I was to late. It spread like wildfire. Be careful when you but ANY fish from this store. If I could give this store 0 stars I would, but I cannot so I will give them 1. Be very very careful when you Buy fish from this place. NOT ABSOLUTELY NOT Going to buy fish from this store anymore. Going Back to the PetSmart on 8070 Academy, and THEY Have the Cleanest fish Tanks, the best associates, and the best fish I have NEVER had a fish die from this store that was not over 2 years old. I have a 4 1/2 year old Plecostomus from them that is still living (In a different Tank). So be very careful when you buy fish from the Petsmart at 350 Eubank. Go to the Petsmart on 8070 Academy.

Me and my fur baby love going here and least twice a week !! They acknowledge her always and as well when she walks up to the register they’ll call her out by name !! At that point she is then is handed a doggy treat that she walks outside the store with in her mouth just as happy as a doggy can be .. Ohhhh she looks forward to it all and so do I !!!

When we went to petsmart, we thought we wanted a puppy, but the lady working at the adoption center suggested a different dog instead because of the ages of our children...well she was right, and the dog we ended up getting has been the PERFECT dog for our family. Thankful to the knowledgeable petsmart staff for making the effort to find the right dog for us!

The staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly. They helped me immediately find the puppy formula and everything else I needed for my new 4 week old mixed dog female, as well as a delicious treat for the 2 year old female blue nose pitbull I already have. I will definitely be returning for more items as my puppy grows, as well as to get treats, toys, and accessories for my bigger girl! I wouldnt recommend any other PetSmart or PetCo, honestly.

They had dog crates ALL in the wrong spot. Every single one. Asked the cashier if they had the one that was 24.99 and she had a look of being lost 😒. Told her they should reorganize that shelf and she still had a lost puppy look. Only upside to this location is they have more selections.

Petsmart is way better than petco as far as stock and prices go, I found what I needed online as well as in store with prices that Petco didnt have labeled in their store. Definitely two different animals of pet shopping.. lol. 😆

Allie did a great job grooming Nala. She verified what needed to be done on Nala prior to grooming. Afterwards, she gave a descriptive detail about how Nala did. Nalas coat came out extremely soft and clean. I would highly recommend Allie to anyone looking to get their dog groomed. Thank you for doing a great job!

I went in to exchange a product, and the only problem was it was that employees first day. He still was able to help me find precisely what I needed, and then transact the exchange.
