I am so happy to be able to leave 5 stars at this hotel. my fiance and I have been staying here almost a week (we have a couple more days to go). I can say that it is clean and inviting. the staff is super amazing! very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surroundings and things to do such as restaurants, events, and services. I have been coming down to the lounge area most everyday and the staff always has something going on for their workers, which I think is very encouraging and amazing for a company to do to keep everybody in high spirits. I like that they have an indoor pool. I was skeptical at 1st but I do enjoy laying out in the Courtyard. also they have games that you can rent such as giant jinga, giant connect 4, And bag toss. They have made me feel like family here I will be sad to go back home! If You or anybody you know of in the area looking for employment for a friend or loved one, I would definitely give this place a shot.-Mrs. R

My stay was made excellent by a hotel associate who went above and beyond, Sydney (sp?).I have travelled the world and Marriott is my hotel chain of choice. Marriotts do a great job of hiring, training and motivating the best and this trip proved that once again. This particular stay, I was having a rough couple of days and Sydney went out of her way to ensure that my stay would be comfortable -- and that was all I needed. The property itself has the feel of the older Courtyards that were built around a central courtyard -- I believe this property was of that design, but couldnt tell for sure because the property has been both: kept updated AND very well maintained.I wish I had more time to spend there to enjoy the facilities and all that Albuquerque has to offer and will try to stay there next time I visit.

Funky smell coming from the rooms that were renovated. Tried two different rooms before giving up and sleeping with a shirt over my mouth and nose to mitigate the smell. Disclaimer: Im highly sensitive, so perhaps it would have been less noticeable to someone else. En suite bathroom was also clearly not cleaned thoroughly...

The location of this hotel is great. The staff were also very kind and accommodating. Andrew at the bar/restaurant and Dominik at the front dest were both extremely kind and great to talk to. We did have some small issues with the room in that there was a small ant infestation (spray was provided and the issue was taken care off) and our drain in the bathroom had difficulty draining. All in all for the price, location, and staff this was quite a pleasant stay and i would stay here again.

Wish I could rate a 0. First of all I’m not the person to complain or even write bad reviews especially during the staffing shortages all industries are experiencing. I travel weekly for business and to Albuquerque frequently. I usually stay at Hilton properties but wanted to try a new place this week. I use the mobile check in but the mobile key system does not work, waited 20 plus minutes to check in. There was another guest needing assistance who was waiting longer than myself. He knocked on the door behind the reception desk, an unpleasant woman appeared about 5 minutes later. My business partner also checked in her room at the same time, she stays at Marriott properties weekly and asked if there was any perk for high level members. The receptionist stated that this property does not do anything special and it’s a shame that they do not. The first night of my stay was okay. The room was not very clean but I wiped things down with my own cleaning wipes. The second night I returned to my room to find that the toilet had been running for what appears hours. Water was filling the bathroom, not knowing how long water had been sitting on the floor I used all my towels to soak up the water. I opened the tank of the toilet to find the flush valve was stuck open, I corrected the valve so the water would stop. As I was pulling a towel from under the sink area multiple very large cockroaches scattered and ran towards the bedroom area. I called to the front desk explaining my current situation a woman stated very quickly that someone would be right up. As I waited for someone to come up I spent my time capturing cockroaches under the glasses provided in the room. After 15 minutes there was a knock at my door. I answer the door in about 20 seconds to find only a plunger in a white plastic bag, no hotel staff. I moved the plunger from the hallway to the bathroom being helpful to the staff as I held the door open waiting for someone to appear. No one ever came or called. I put the plunger back in the hallway as it was cover in fecal matter and smelled or course. I had a very early flight the next morning and it was getting close to midnight. I plugged the hole where I found the cockroaches coming from behind the tv stand/dresser and tried to sleep for a few hours. Upon waking I quickly showered using my sheet to dry off. I left the cockroaches captured under the glasses and the plunger was still sitting in the hallway outside my room when I left around 430am. I will note that after no one responded to my room I attempting calling again to the desk without response as well as submitting an online complaint to Marriott hotels directly giving them time to respond before posting on google. I have not heard from Marriott.

We’ve stayed at this Marriott a number of times over the years. The staff has always been accommodating and pleasant. Our review from our most recent stay is oriented around maintenance & quality control. When we checked into our room (king sized bed) the air conditioning system was extremely loud. We struggled through the first night with the noise by turning the AC on and off so we could get some rest.We requested a new room the following morning and were placed into a room with 2x queen beds vs the king we’d reserved. There were no towels or toilet paper in the new room, and the hair dryer didn’t work. All easy fixes that the staff took care of.The bistro and coffee bar is simply unsatisfactory!Recommend that hotel management review their maintenance & quality control programs. Easy stuff that ensures consistently pleasant stays.

I wouldnt have given them any stars at all!! I made reservations at 11:50 in the morning for that night, the guy took my credit card information and told me my reservations were made and I told him Id be there 6:30 he said no problem. I show up 7 p.m. to check in and my reservations were not there and they had no room for me! Plus they had no rooms available!! And when I talked to the general manager she acted like Im lying about stuff saying that theres no proof this happened, and then hung up on me because I got angry about it! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I would have been raising hell if I would have been from out of town and expecting my room to be booked for me after they take my credit card information! If this is how you treat customers Im amazed you have any customers at all!! Get somebody that knows how to run a business, because this definitely is not how its done! I probably could have got better service at a Motel 6

Hotel rooms are nice and comfortable. Stayed here in March 2021. Five minutes after checking in our room our car alarm went on out of no where. I had to rush and move my car fast to the front where there were broken window glasses in the only available parking space. Yes, I had to check on that car few times throughout the night. Beware of thieves and car breaking because they are very real. Make sure to park your car in the front and not in the back alone.

Stayed at this Courtyard recently while in Albuquerque on business. This was a first for me at this hotel. I usually stay in the Uptown area, but everything was sold out. This location worked out just fine though. Its close to restaurants and shopping. The location is nice too. Its just off of Jefferson and just North of the Pyramid Marriott. The hotel has a great Southwestern theme to it. My room looked over the courtyard area with a view of the indoor pool. Very quiet and clean. My room was spotless including the shower. No mold or mildew. It looks like the rooms may have been recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable and I slept solid. I did eat at the onsite restaurant on the evening I arrived. It was okay. I ordered a salad and for the size of it, I felt it was over priced by a few dollars. Typical of hotels with onsite bars and restaurants. I would stay here again as I enjoyed my stay.

The place is very pretty from out side. Courtyard is very nice and pretty. Peaceful to sit out at night. However when booking it states it has a restaurant and Starbucks, it has neither. They have a small area to order , but if it is not included with your package you can not order from there. I had two roaches in my room twice. Spoke to the cleaning lady. She said she would call maintenence, no one ever showed up, and she never came to clean the room. I called the front desk, they said they could not do anything about it except to leave a note for the next day. The hotel is next to the freeway and is very noisy. The ice machines on 3 of the floors were broken. The third day I was checking out. Which happen to be from the fourth floor the elevator was broken. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE.

I stayed here mid July for three nights. The room itself was clean (though no one cleaned it while I was there), however the facility itself was clearly not maintained and the gym was disgusting. It had nice equipment, but they were out of wipes, towels, and water. You could see dried sweat on the equipment. Each night I was there I complained about this and little was done. The first night the lady gave me a couple towels and a pack of clorox wipes. The second night there were out of everything again so I went to the front desk. An irritated woman got up from surfing the internet who basically said shed handle it and then just went back to surfing the net. She did nothing.I have been loyal to Marriott for the last decade and am Titanium. Ive stayed at several of the hotels in Albuquerque and most of them have suffered in the service area since COVID, but this was the worst Id experienced. Im seriously considering switching to Hilton to see if they do a better job.

Very nice and comfortable stay. This place will be our new Albuquerque go-to. The pet grassy area was great for our dog and the premises looked clean. Its just off to the side enough where you dont have to really worry as much about theft and such like other places in the city. We definitely prefer the NE side of town for drive-thrus and the proximity towards Paseo and I-25 was convenient.

The freeway is on the east side of the hotel. It’s loud ALL NIGHT LONG. At 5”6:30 PM, we visited the hotel’s restaurant it had a very limited menu because the kitchen was “prepping”chicken. We instead visited Restoration Pizza in short walking distance, just across parking lot. There’s a fireplace sitting area outside in the beautiful court yard!

I would have given negative 10 stars to this hotel. I have traveled since I was 5 years old and I am 28, this hotel experience has been the worst of my entire life. 97 degrees inside during a wedding. The room water had no cold water, the water was scolding and was not manageable to shower in, let alone brush your teeth with. When these concerns were brought to the staff, “I don’t know how to turn on the AC”. Hell is probably colder than the temperatures that this hotels was making everyone staying at the hotel endure. There was no compensation for anything. Do Not Stay Here.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, room was great and a super comfortable bed. The hotel front desk employees were really friendly and helpful. Front desk agent, Delores, was reallyfriendly and efficient. The supervisor, Matt, greeted and talked with us as well. They told us about great restaurants and were genuinely interested in hearing about our dining experience when we returned later that evening. Both super friendly!! Upon checkout, I requested some maps of ABQ to be printed from Raelene at the front desk. She was alone at the desk and busy, yet made the time to print the maps for us. She, too, was really friendly and kind. Our experience was made more relaxing and enjoyable by the helpful and friendly employees at the front desk. Thank you!!

Rated 1 star for awful comfort. You know, the rooms can be lovely, and they are, but you go there to sleep. The bed was TERRIBLY hard. Youd get the same comfort out of sleeping on the carpet with a blanket. It is right next to the freeway and heavily used roads. There is loud road noise, but that lulled us to sleep...maybe not you.I read other reviews and I was not alone. My wife, daughter, and I are have sore backs and remain tired because we slept terrible. Beautiful location, but would not stay here...its just not comfortable. My husband and I stayed here for a night (driving from MN to AZ) and everything about this hotel was amazing. Super clean and neat, just a nice, relaxing place to stay. The people working here were so friendly- especially the young lady working the night of Saturday, 6/13- she was just the nicest, she gave my dog all kinds of pets and attention and he loved it (A really big thank you to her for going out of her way to make us feel welcome!). Should mention, too, that they are pet friendly. And that’s a big deal because it’s not always easy to find a place to stay with your 4 legged buddies. If youre a light sleeper, I dont recommend staying here. Especially dont get an east-facing room if you can, the highway is really noisy. Room itself was nice, breakfast was to-go given covid. There are no cameras in the parking lot, so do not leave ANYTHING visible in your car. I got my back window smashed and some of my stuff stolen, which is really inconvenient because I am moving and this was a midway stop. Concierge was helpful at least in helping me seal the window hole and help clean up the shattered glass.

The front desk rep on night shift was great, I didnt get to catch her name. She was very accommodating and friendly. We stayed 10/18-10/20. The rooms were cute, LOVED the mini balcony, and the location was perfect for what we were in town for. I think the only downside we really had was that the bar service was very very slow. Not necessarily anything against the team members, but there was no sense of urgency AT ALL and they seemed overwhelmed by the 6 customers they had. Additionally the drink prices were a bit steep, felt like we were at an airport!

I want to personally thank the staff at the Courtyard Marriott in Albuquerque, namely Patrick, Briana, Raylene, Jasmin and Ms. Webb. They were exceptional in ensuring that we had everything we needed and went the extra mile in providing the excellent service always with a warm smile and appreciation. It never seemed like any question or concern we had, irritated them at all. They always delivered the response with a smile. I would say that the only thing that was lagging a bit was the speed of the dining service, with the exception of Jasmin, the other servers seemed not to pay very close attention to taking drink or food orders at the restaurant or bar. However, the exceptional hotel staff, from Housekeeping, front desk, AV and manager (Ms. Webb), more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel anytime you are in the Albuquerque area. Great Job!

Very clean, centrally located in a safe area. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated, gives your stay a true New Mexican touch. Food easily available, on site Starbucks made breakfast easy. Would recommend for business as well as for families.

The facility was clean and neat. Meeting rooms were really nice and spacious and included all necessary for the meeting. Used large meeting room and suite and small Conference room.

Excellent location for the balloon festival! We stayed in a double queen room that faces the freeway which was a bit noisy. The rooms facing the courtyard are much quieter. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge which is nice. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Stay was fantastic at the Courtyard by Marriott. Rooms had a fun oversized chair with a foot stool. Very quiet location - no noise traffic at all. Staff were very nice and accommodating. I felt safe for myself and my vehicle which is big for me to consider in my stays.
