Friendly check-in staff. We got a room with a king bed. Clean rooms with the exception of a few small hairs noticed on the blanket we pulled out of the closet to use. The mattress when pulling back the sheets for inspection was so clean it looked brand new. The shower had hot water immediately, other hotels we have been to you have to let the water run for a while to get warm. The tub was very large and my husband who is 5ft 11in was able to fit comfortably in it. The bed was very spacious and comfortable with a good selection of pillows. The TV was also big, however we did not use it. We found the room to be quiet for a good nights sleep. The only two downsides to this room is there was no microwave so you had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the one down there, and secondly the tub was soo large that it took a while to fill up, not that its a bad thing but just so you are aware that your bath may take longer than planned. We really liked the big bathtub though. This is a hotel we would stop at again if passing through town due to the cleanliness and the affordability.

I just stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Albuquerque and will never stay again. My husband and I as well as another couple were told that the hotel van would take us to the airport (3 minute ride) at 4:45 am for our early flights out. All of us were down in the lobby before our designated shuttle time only the front desk people refused to honor the commitment saying that the shuttle only runs every 30 minutes. Since it’s only a 3 minute ride, we informed them that it was possible to drop us and still remain on the schedule which they refused to do. I called both managers but neither answered their phones.I know it’s a tough time to get labor but probably even harder to get customers. The morning front desk employees, especially the woman, were rude and uncaring. This is not acceptable for a hotel in this price range.

Would I stay here again? No. That about sums it up. Ive had cruise ship cabins that were bigger. The old style hang on the wall heater was noisy -- not just fan noise, but a rattle from the vibration. In desperation I removed the cover to silence it. It was full of lint and dust. The whole room didnt seem all that clean. No breakfast, BTW; not even a take away. Seems to me the Marriott brand and legacy has been declining for years. The founder, JW Marriott, is probably spinning in his grave.

Lipstick on a pig, old hotel new stuff. Hotel is old, yellow phones, popcorn ceilings, etc. My room had ceiling cracks, water damage, etc. Staff was to busy help me and consistently unfriendly but I think that is a sign of the times. I would not stay here again but would probably try one of the other Marriott brands like Fairfield if I was staying in the airport area again.

Im very picky when it comea to hotels, so it was refreshing to come to this hotel after a day of traveling. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed clean. There were 5 of us so we stayed in a queen suite. It was really nice with a separate bedroom and living area that included a pull out sofa and balcony outside. The tub seemed a little dated or stained and the tub/toilet area was small but overall the room was great.

The room was OK, but there was a huge red stain on the carpet that seemed like blood. Weird hotel fridge only works for two hour stretches (you have to press a timer button every two hours to get it to work longer). The hotel needs security (if they have security, they weren’t visible). Someone tried to steal my catalytic converter in the parking lot (see the attached photo), costing me $500 in repairs, and addicts were wandering around the lot like zombies. No free breakfast like advertised online; they’ve switched to a sort of Starbucks counter, but there’s plenty of restaurants nearby.

Ive stayed at this hotel several times as I travel to or from Albuquerque. Very close to the airport, but more importantly, this is one of the most comfortable and friendly hotels! The beds and pillows are amazing, the rooms exceptionally clean and quiet. The bistro will make a great little dinner and pour a glass of wine for you, and you can sit by the fireplace to enjoy the view out to a beautiful, Southwestern landscaped courtyard. Conveniently located near the ABQ airport, the staff were very friendly. The room was stylishly decorated and comfortable. All issues were dealt with promptly. The beds have nice linens, but mattresses are a bit soft on the edges which is odd. Middle of mattress was fine. Plenty of free parking. There is a bar and a restaurant inside. The bar is good. The breakfast was subpar even though freshly cooked? Maybe the regular cook was gone because it was Sunday? All that said, this was an EXCELLENT value in a clean, convenient place.

The Courtyard by Marriott is aimed at a social traveler who enjoys the bar, the pool, and does not plan on staying in his or her room long. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were great. But I was in town for two weeks... and so were thousands of seniors for the National Senior Games. I tried to get a hotel with a kitchen and complimentary breakfast, but they were all booked. I longed for a simple freezer and microwave in my room, let alone a kitchen! I also would have liked a gym, but the exercise room is two treadmills, one elliptical and dumbbells under 50lbs crowded into a closet. On the positive side, the pool and hot tub are great, the courtyard is inviting and the bar and social lobby are terrific if you want to socialize. But if you would rather cook for yourself in your room or want a true gym, pick another hotel... if you can.

We went there for a company meeting. The staff were very friendly. The meeting room was comfortable and the entire experience was a good one. However my only complaint was only this one. There were 10 of us in our meeting and it took about 35 minutes to feed us all. Kind of like one Plate at a Time. Thats the only downfall. The food was good. Has a past executive chef I understand the processes how they prepare their food. I dont think they are expecting more than one or two orders at a time. I hope we have another meeting at this location as it was easy to get too very friendly, very clean. I just hope they can be a little more expedient on the food process so we can all eat together not one at a time.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. I travel. A lot. We were actually out in Durango when Hurricane Dorian was swirling toward our home in Florida. My daughter had to return for state of emergency, as she is a nurse. We drove all night to get her out from the Albuquerque airport. My flight got cancelled as the Orlando airport closed. My reservation at the hotel wasnt until that night and I thought Id just sleep in my car. (My flight was rescheduled for the next day) I must have looked bad when I came in to use the facilities as the manager gave me my room at 7 am!! At that point Id been up 28 hours and was beat. I am so thankful for their kindness and going out if their way to assist a weary stranded traveller.

They are friendly and keep the hotel looking very clean and fresh. I would definitely stay here every time I visit Albuquerque NM. We have stayed 3 times in the last 1 1/2 years to visit the kids in college. Large clean rooms with the trademark comfort of a Marriott bed, pillows, and linen. It has a very nice lobby and a clean and modern appearance throughout. It is a much nicer hotel than the Holiday Inn across the street. The staff was friendly. Cons: They tried to charge us for parking but relented because Google stated that there was free parking. They did remind me that Google wasnt their official website. Breakfast is not included. In this day and in the western world, this is almost heresy. However, the price was about $20 less than their competitor which only had the cheap continental breakfast mid-range hotels are known for. For the $20 you can do better for breakfast in NM.

Overall, I found the hotel style and architecture up-to-date, The lobby and amenities (pool, exercise room, and laundry facilities, which I used) were great. My initial impression walking in the lobby was the ambiance of the hotel was warm and enticing. This enticed me to spend time in the lobby near the fireplace reading the paper. I found the room to be equally comfortable and warm in its décor. Where the hotel lacked, in my opinion, was in execution when it came to cleanliness and maintenance. As mentioned in my survey, I found trash in the hallways and stairwells on several mornings. And the coat rack in my rooms closet needed repair. It had been torn out of the wall. These suggested to me greater emphasis on maintenance and cleaning is needed by hotel management. A guestbook was absent in my room, which impacted how efficiently I was able to find details about the area. Food in the hotel lobby café and marketplace was way overpriced.
