I am mobility limited and booked an accessible room. When we got there, I realized that this 14 story had 6 handicap spots. 2 of which were for the convention center next door. The nearest available parking spot otherwise was a good 100 yards or more from the main entrance. The “accessible” room had non-ADA compliant 32” wide door, non-ADA compliant toilet, with luggage in the room, I couldn’t turn the wheelchair around and it’s a zero turn chair. Absolutely no way to get a chair into the bathroom and not a grab bar in south in the shower or bathroom. That’s the smallest room that I have ever spent $150 per night. It could not have been more than 300 square feet. It was the smallest 3/4 bathroom I’ve ever seen outside of an RV.I’ve been in better rooms for $55 in a Motel 6.An absolute disgrace to the Marriott chain. Stay anywhere else in Albuquerque.

The management should be ashamed of themselves. The pillows were worn out in my room. When I took a shower the water could only be described as not cold. It never got warm much less hot.We had food and the pasta was over cooked and mushy. The chicken breast was nearly jerky it was so over cooked. The red and white sauce were clearly just microwaved. They had no flavor. The color of the sauce was the only was to describe them. When we walked to our car in the morning they had trash cans that were over flowing from night before.Seeing garbage on the floor was really the exact way this place should be described. I won’t be spending money at any Marriott if I can help it, because of the careless way they conduct themselves.

We had a very great experience during our stay at this particular Marriot. Wendy at the front desk went above and beyond what her job title was. She is by far the greatest customer service women I have dealt with at any hotel. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many hotels. Wendy thank you for taking care of us and making our stay at your hotel very enjoyable for my family. Keep up the great work Wendy.

Very disappointed that when I checked in right around check in time, my king size bed I made a reservation for, was not available. I did not raise a stink at the counter bc my companion has Parkinsons disease and I did not want to cause him undue anxiety but isnt that what reservations are for? Then, when I went to bed, there was no blanket on my bed. Just the comforter cover. So Im glad I only stayed one night.

Good things:Nice showerFriendly staffNice lobbyBad things: lotsNOISE: It was bad, real bad. Its not the hotels fault its on the interstate but the noise at night was unbearable. If you stay here, bring earplugs. I never knew their were so many loud motorcycles. And of course we had the room the closest to the interstate, but that probably didnt matter. No refrigeratorOnly one washcloth????No microwave. They CHARGE for wi fi. $15 a night. What is this 1995???Noise, mentioned twice cause it was so bad.Lumpypillows.com must have had a clearance sale because the mini pillows were unbearably lumpy which didnt make sleeping any better with all the noise. The bathroom had stains on the wallpaper.Poor designed ultra small room.Only one elevator worked for awhile. No free coffee, matter of fact, nothings free but ice. Which is good cause there is no refrigerator.Moldy shower stallI wouldnt stay here if it was free.

Pretty decent stay. A co-worker and I stayed for a few days in late June 2021. One can go downstairs and order a meal or beverages. Next to the highway which can take you anywhere in the city. There is a shopping plaza with restaurants close by. Id recommend driving there if you can. Depending on your room, you have a beautiful view of the mountains. There was room service at this time (June 2021). If you want good local options, travel to the Nob Hill neighborhood (little drive away). Downtown Albuquerque is okay during daytime, night time is a different story (dont take kids there). Would come back if I can.

I will start off by saying after an 11 hour drive from Texas to arrive and they couldn’t find our reservation which was booked 3 weeks ago .. fast forward to us finally getting upstairs to our room and hopping in the shower to realize there’s not a towel to be found in our room I stand dripping for 35 minutes till they bring up towels .. room was musty stuffy.. shower faucet fell off when we turned on the shower . One bed had a comforter the other just a sheet . Safe the 150 bucks and stay elsewhere. Definitely a disappointment

It used to be better than it is now. Concierge level served an open buffet, and service barely cleaned the tables, swiping haphazardly. A waiter in the main breakfast room did not wear a mask even though all the rest of the staff was. A big sign on the entrance required all to wear masks (even the vaccinated).

This hotel is beautiful. The pool is HUGE! The restaurant & bar are very nice. The food that is served is very good quality & good portion size! The elevators worked quietly & QUICKLY. I feel like this is definitely a 5-Star Property. I only have 2 negative items. My only 2 complaints would be on the actual room itself.... there were several long, dark hairs all around the bathroom & even inside the room fridge. And the 2nd complaint would be the air conditioner unit. It was not able to cool the small room efficiently. It would swing from being very WARM to extremely COLD over & over.We visit ABQ several times a year, so we will probably stay at this property again in the future. We will be sure to book a larger, more spacious room. No hard feelings & I am still rating 5 stars.

Discovered a disgusting stain on the mattress the morning I was packing to check out after my 2 night stay. Repulsed but curious I decided to check under the beds and end tables. I then realized that this hotel is not very clean. I took a picture of the stain and showed it to the girl at the desk who checked me out. She agreed that it was gross and then sent me on my way. Just like that. Thankfully the amazing view had me sleeping in the other bed. I should mention that I paid $200 a night for this room. Would not recommend.

When you come to Albuquerque be ready for the heat. And when you travel to Albuquerque stay in the Uptown location at this Marriott. The Uptown area is central to everything you need from a massive array of restaurants to shopping and etc. This Marriott location is a great home base for your stay. The pool and gym area is the nicest Ive experienced at a 3.5 star hotel. The gym has several cardio machines with the only absence being a stair climber. If you are a weight lifter the only missing equipment is a bench press and squat rack yet having dumbbells up to 75 pounds, 2 adjustable benches and a cable crossover.Although I didnt take a dip in the pool I did notice the pool is indoor and outdoor. By swimming under an area of the pool, you are instantly either indoors or outdoors. Most hotel pools are either ONLY indoor or outdoor. The bar/restaurant is average, its not great nor is it bad, In of itself that fact is not a negative. Its simply the bar/restaurant is adequate and what you would expect. The shining star of this hotel is the staff. They are welcoming, helpful and cordial. Gold star staff member is the front desk person, Ricardo. More hotels should have front desk people like Ricardo who make you feel like hes your personal assistant or concierge during your visitIf you decide to stay here during your visit to Albuquerque youll definitely enjoy your stay.

For a name as renowned as Marriott, this place has been a disappointment.~ $150/night, and the bed has left my back worse than its ever felt. There are only one kind of pillow in the room (down), but theyre not filled enough and leave you tossing and turning in discomfort. Most other hotels will have a secondary option in the room. Ill be asking for new pillows when Ive concluded my business for the day.The bathroom doesnt have a locking door. Such a simple thing to overlook, and maybe not that big a deal for many, but Im pretty particular about doing my bathroom business with the ability to be uninterrupted by anyone walking in. The shower fixtures, specifically the one around the knob and the soap dish, are loose and could just use updating. Again, simple things to fix and probably dont mean a lot to everyone, but if Im paying this much for a tiny room, Id like it to be worth the amount Im paying. I could get a whole AirBnB for less if I had more time to book it.The only saving grace was the view from floor 17.Maybe Im being nitpicky, but I just dont feel like I got my moneys worth.Edit: as a final note, Ive seen none of the employees stop people who werent wearing masks in the common areas to tell them to put on a mask. I was under the impression that it was a New Mexico state mandate for masks to be worn, and Im seeing a lot of people walking around without them, and not a single hotel employee bringing it up. Just makes me feel uncomfortable.

You can also turn the whole suite off. There are 10 floors. A restaurant, A Starbucks. And you can get breakfast (Frozen) and Ice cream. The front of the hotel looks so nice, the employees are very kind! So ⭐⭐⭐ for the employees and ⭐⭐ for the hotel its self. Now all together its 5 stars. I definitely reccomend staying here!

I’m a Platinum Bonvoy member and I’ll start by saying I won’t be returning to this Marriott.Pros: location - lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distanceCons: Still have not reopened the concierge lounge and they are not compensating with free breakfast or food voucher of any kindStaff seemed very indifferent (not overly friendly)No microwave or mini fridge in the roomsHot tub has been filled in with rocksAC in the room not very coldMattress pad was ripped in two corners which made for a less comfortable sleepRoom was small and furniture seemed old- felt like a low end or discount Marriott chainI overheard another guest at the front counter complaining they found a bunch of french fries on the floor under the deskOverall just seems like a poorly managed hotel. If I wasn’t used to how a Marriott usually is, I’d be looking for a different hotel chain.

Might have been good in the past- but dont waste your money now.Would definitely award zero stars if possible... And Im considering loyalty to a different chain.Check in- Thank you for your loyalty, weve upgraded your room, to one with lounge access, but the lounge is closed on the weekends. Why bother then?Room- Found vomit stains on the box spring that actually stained the carpet under and next to the bed on my second day. Furniture collected so much dust, that it turned my towel gray when I decided to wipe it down myself. Bathroom had tiny hairs on the sink. Toilet didnt flush properly.Pool- filthy outdoor pool section with dead mosquitos and leaves everywhere. No towels at the pool or in the guest gym.Hotel staff- as if they were morally opposed to being of any service- forgot my phone in room after checking out, called them and they didnt even want to go check just said At this time no one has reported it. Had to stop, get WiFi, find my phone on an app with a different device, drive all the way back, get someone to let me back in the room, and there it was, ringing from when I activated it on the find my phone app. Waitress kicked me out of open bar area because I had outside food. Made me go find a tiny cocktail table in the crowded computer area. Just had the baby monitor set with the kid asleep and wife and I wanted to eat downstairs. If it was a separate restaurant, then okay I get it, but this restaurant has bar tables that are part of the lobby/check in area. Meanwhile inebriated guests are revving motorcycles and throwing trash everywhere around the hotel entrance and pool. Couldnt even sit outside and have a conversation on the phone without someone yelling or screaming. When I politely voiced my feedback to the staff, all I got was Im truly sorry...Bottom Line: Marriott is slipping, dont stay here if you want to have a clean, and quiet, relaxing time off of work with family. Take your money elsewhere.

Great stay. Stayed for 4 nights. They don’t offer daily room service; you have to call for specific needs if anything comes up. Probably due to covid. One note is that our room did not have a microwave or fridge, which I thought was strange. I thought maybe it was removed because of covid but the coffee pot was still there, so I find it a little weird that a room that costs probably double the price of another hotel doesn’t have those two things when that lower cost hotel would. So if you plan on staying here keep in mind there is no fridge or microwave. Otherwise 100% satisfaction. The connected inside-outside pool is awesome and water kept warm.

I said no, nevermind, I already have a bad impression and that the room should have been cleaned in the beginning because I made this reservation a week prior. The room was drab, everything is a dull gray with dark furniture and there was no refrigerator in there at all. There was dust and lint on the furniture and on the TV, hair and lint on the bathroom counter top, bathroom mirror was streaky, the bathtub had hair in it, and the carpet was not vacuumed at all-just to list a few things I observed. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone despite it being located in a convenient location to restaurants and shopping areas.

Monica at the front desk was very welcoming but it went downhill from there. The room had a funny smell and when I went over to the other side of the bed to put my luggage I saw food wrappers under the bed. Ewww! And I got down on my knees to see if it was just one and I saw several wrappers along with a very dirty underside. I called Monica who was very apologetic and said she would get a cleaning lady up to clean up but my first impression was already set. Actually as I was walking into my room there were dirty towels on the floor that I had to step over. So my first and second impressions were not good at all. Then I went down to see if the restaurant was open (while the cleaning crew did their job) because I hadn’t eaten any lunch and it was now late afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sign at the café that said “we are open for dinner” but when I walked in the lady very harshly said, “We’re not open!” I told her her sign said they were open and she said they were open but not for dinner which made absolutely no sense so I just went out and got a nice dinner elsewhere. Someone needs to get hold of the reigns or this place won’t last long at all! And if it keeps on like this it shouldn’t last!

We always stay in Marriott Hotels when we travel because our rooms are always clean and I cant hear the people staying in the rooms above and below our rooms but we had a bad experience when we stayed at the Marriott Uptown in Albuquerque on July 16. We noticed that the bathroom floor and the toilet seat were sticky and there was hair on the toilet and carpet that had not been cleaned. We asked the front desk to clean the room when we went out to eat but my wife had to show the desk clerk the hair that had not been cleaned from the toilet and carpet after we got back from dinner. The hair was finally cleaned after our second request. I cant help but compare our Marriott stay with our stay at an Airbnb on the following day in Taos and the Airbnb was clearly a 5 out of 5 compared with 1 out of 5 for our room at the Marriott.
