We only take our cars here. They guys are honest and beyond kind. They do great work and dont price hike people.

Jon Reeves is the only mechanic Ive used for nearly 30 years now. I cant imagine anyone else working on my familys vehicles.Trustworthy, fair and most important... knowledgeable

We just moved to Ohio and after our journey across country, we had some problems with our wheel bearings/hub. I called several places for a quote and this place was BY FAR the most affordable and the most friendly that I spoke with. Took my car for a window falling off track. Tells me to just buy a new one (which was fine) the part I wasnt happy with is getting my car back without the door panel on and being told to put it back on myself

I thought they did me dirty but they made it right would recommend to anyone.

Great service fair price

John and Rick are the best mechanic in this area. They always fix my girl friends and my car right, and their prices are always lower than other places. They have been taken care of my car since I was a student at U of Akron. They are very nice and honest people. I was very fortunate to find this place.

I went back to Reeves Auto Service after a long hiatus. Worked with John. He was able to quickly identify the issue and fix it. After driving the car for a few days, I can comfortably say the staff at Reeves did an excellent job. They worked with my third party warranty. Will use them for all my automotive needs moving forward. Highly recommended.

John and his crew are true neighborhood mechanics. If they tell you something needs fixed it does. I have gone for noise or rattle and the have looked at it tightened something or another simple task and said dont worry about it. It is good to have a mechanic you can trust.

John was very patient, had to bring my car in for an engine repair. Vehicle went to the shop unexpectedly. The service was great and very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone weather u are from the Akron area or not. He answered all of my questions.

I dont usually ever post reviews on anything, unless service is absolutely horrible but in this situation I had to post a positive review for Reeves Auto Service on Market St in Akron. I have been going to Reeves for years and they always seem to be real honest and great people to deal with. I had a relatively expensive brake job done 1.5 years ago which included new calipers, rotors, brake pads, and small section of brake line. Anyway, two or three months ago I noticed the brakes were pulsating just not working right; recently May 11th 2017 I had time to take down to have John take a look and he let me know that there was something not right about the rotors and that he would replace the rotors. They do great work there at Reeves but more importantly they stand behind the work that they do!!!!

The most honest guys and the only auto repair ive never given a second thought about. They take great care and pride in everything they do. Any time we have ever thought something was wrong they have stopped what they were doing to take a quick look. On many occasions though something was terribly wrong only to have them take a look and was something quite simple thwy made quick adjustment and sent me on my way no charge. We will never go anyplace.

I deleted my original review because:I took my car here to fix an oil leak THREE (3) TIMES and the oil is still leaking.!!The First time was the oil gasket with oil change @ $140.00Second time I was told its a bad oil filter. Huh, But you did an oil change on the first repair?Third time He told me the radiator was leaking? It wasnt leaking before I took my car there and it wasnt leaking AntiFreeze. He replaced the Hose Assembly @ $170.MEANWHILE, The OIL is STILL Leaking???How many times does it take a mechanic to fix an oil leak.. LoL. IDK Maaaaaan.Reeves was recommended by someone. Very Nice guys but not very good diagnostics. I never went back and never will. Sorry John 😞
