BUYER BEWARE!!!!Stay away from the Akron location on Triplet Boulevard!!Unfriendly and unprofessional group of guysI originally purchased tires online and scheduled to have them installed only to arrive on time and rudely told that they dont have my tires. Thats one thing but this unprofessional individual at the counter completely ignored me while I tried to explain exactly why I was there! He continued to type and view other projects as I spoke. Then lied and said he left a voicemail stating that the tires were not in stock. I did receive the voicemail but it was 11 seconds of silence. I will continue to tell anyone who needs any type of car service for their vehicles to shop elsewhere. I never had an issue at Goodyear Tire, Firestone or National Tire and Battery. Wish I could post less than 1 star cause they dont even deserve that!!

What a joke!!! My family and I have purchased multiple sets of tires from here!!! I pulled up today to use the usual free air they have and the hose wasn’t there, so I asked if someone could fill my tires up ( EVEN OFFERED TO PAY!!!) they said sorry no and directed me to gas station. I’ll never shop here again I will make sure to go out of my way to make sure my family and friends never do either!

I luv they have free air such a life saver for me I have slow leaks and can only afford a tire a month lol.

They want their customers to be happy and seem to be knowledgeable. If you want good service and have time and lots of money (their prices seem high to me), this is a good place to have work done.

Went to have a warranty honored, the work was done but apparently they did not accept that warranty on road hazard. Tire gets fixed for free, all is good but now issue with the same tire and now the warranty is voided on that wheel so by doing me a solid it does not end that way.

I needed a repair on a run flat tire. I had to sign off for a repair for $93.00. They looked at it and found a piece of metal in the tread. Told me they couldnt repair it as they wont plug it and its too close to the sidewall to patch. It was an inch inside the sidewall clearly in the tread. Told me theyd have to order the tire which would not be there today. They said a mom and pop shop would probably plug it for me but it was against company policy for them to plug it. I offered to sign a waiver if they would just plug it. They would not. Lucky for me it is a run flat. I took the car with me, went down the road to another tire store (mom and pop) and they patched it from the inside, which Conrads said they couldnt, for $16.00.Ive spent a lot of money at Conrads, not anymore. I wont be going to Conrads.

UPDATE: Well as much as I appreciate the use of the free air its not going to help me today. Stopped in for my usual air fill for my slow leaking tire but it needs more than I can do. Luckily the shop is open and walk in are welcome so hopefully itll just need resealed or plugged because a new tire is NOT in the budget right now 😭I truly love and appreciate the free air machine, especially its ease of use and 24/7 availability. I called to get information on tires. The tires on my SUV had been discontinued. Mike Shaw gave the name of the replacement tire and said they could installed today (6/17/19) if I wanted. I was helped as soon as I arrived, and waited until my car was done (2 hours) which was very quick considering how busy they were.Mike and Matthew Lamb was so knowledgeable and helpful. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last.Thanks Mike and Matthew!

I called Conrad’s to make sure they had 4 tires for my car I got there at 5:00 (Because I had a flat tire and waited for a two truck on the side of the highway for an hour and a half) to have them put on and they tell me they only have 4 of the tires in stock I left my car with them and went to pick it up the next day paid and got in my car to leave. My car wouldn’t start. So I waited 10 minutes for someone to come out and jump it. The two guys running the front are so rude and not very friendly at all! Conrad’s is owned by a family friend of mine and we’ve taken our cars there since I was a little girl. It was so much better back in the day!

I went in for tires, an oil change and an alignment. The employees were very friendly and honest. They did not add things I did not need. They also gave me a discount because it took a little longer than expected. Excellent service! I will definitely return and recommend them to anyone who needs tires or car service. A+

They did not fix the problem with my car. I paid $900 and when I got it back it was doing the same thing. I took it back to them and then all of a sudden there was a whole bunch of other things wrong. When I went to pick it up it wouldn’t start. They tried to jump it, but obviously that was not the issue. I told them I had to leave it till I could figure out how to get it home. Then they tried saying I abandoned it and they were going to tow it! NEVER agin will I use or recommend them!

Staff is always friendly and has never failed to follow through. I have never had an issue with their service, and their prices are reasonable. I may not always be able to get in immediately, but I assume this is because others also share my thoughts. They always have people in the waiting room.

My brakes failed and I was given an estimate of $2,231.00. I had it towed there. They said that was just a start! When I declined to pay that price, the manager told me that hed give me $300.00 for my truck. Thanks for kicking me when Im down! I had it towed to my house. I purchased the parts myself for $600.00. All of the employees were extremely nice and professional except the manager. I wont be coming here again! I wish you the best.

Experience was great except they forgot to reset my oil change monitor. Had to go back to the shop and have it reset. It was a quick process, just an inconvenience. Other than that my oil change and tire rotation went fine.

Got new tires on my vehicle, when I got on the highway My car was pulling to the right extremely bad, my mom & I both believed one of my tires were lose. I pulled to the side of the highway & drove to the exit very carefully. Called Conrad’s & they said if I can make it to bring my car back in. They brought out a paper telling me I need to rotors, blah blah, told me it wasn’t necessary but it would “help”. They said it would help with the pulling, but it’s not dangerous nor will cause any damage to my vehicle. I said I would consider coming back, got back on the highway & nothing.. no pulling, no shaking, etc... I truly believe my tore was lose but they didn’t want to admit they made a mistake. It’s been 3 days & ever since I went back for them to “check” it hasn’t pulled again...

Very polite service and genuinely concerned about the car problems. The gentlemen are also just as polite and meaningful to ladies who need car repairs. In short, the offer reasonable estimates that are accurate, without heavy cost overruns. Estimates of work completions are also on time, if at all possible.

Conrads Tire was a pleasant tire purchase and installation experience. Rex quoted price of two new tires over the phone and got me in when he said. Price was fair and service was great. Ill be back when needing new rubber.

I have to say everyone I had contact with treated me with the utmost respect. Everything I had done was done promptly and much to my satisfaction. I had a few questions and Mike at the front desk took time to answer each one. And Alex,the one setting my appointment was very polite and explained the cost and services for each thing I was having done. Super quick! i was in and out with my oil change in exactly an hour. the staff was super friendly and welcoming, despite the phone ringing off the hook the entire time and tons of customers coming in and out. i’d also like to mention, everything i overhead to customers-explaining what needed extra and someone explaining the tire warranty, was done very well!i originally came to this location because i didn’t like the customer service at copley. while this is a bit further, they now have my business.

Not only did they assess the problem, they showed me a video review of what needed to be repaired and replaced. It was impressive. (Ive never seen under my car). They also provided transportation for me to get home and return to the shop when the repairs were complete. The estimated time of completion was later than when they accually completed the work...another PLUS. They are friendly, professional and proficient. I am recommending them to my friends and family.

They do a good enough job on my oil change itself. They did not reset my oil change light on my 07 Prius - I did it myself when i got my car back as I could do it quicker than it would take them to figure it out. Also dont like that they do not report any services to carfax so they dont show up on your cars history. i dont usually use them but had a $25 gift certificate from when I bought tires.

I feel much safer on the road after they fix my car because they are always thorough.

If you want to be provided with horrible quality service for a rip you off price, this is the place to go! Read on to understand the multiple experiences I have had here and judge for yourself.My story has 2 parts - Firstly, we took my wifes 2013 Escape to have an oil change completed. After waiting nearly 2 hours to have the oil changed, when I got home I noticed the under-body tray was about to fall off. They didnt install all the screws back when the changed oil and the ones that were were stripped out. While I was down there, I noticed that the oil plug was only finger tight - the o-ring was exposed and I got 1.5 revolutions on the plug! How can you change oil and NOT put the plug back on tight? Furious, I called to complain and they credited me for the oil change and gave me 2 free oil changes - I didnt want to go back but giving the benefit of the doubt coupled with the free oil changes, I decided to give them another chance - I was dead wrong.We require a certified mechanic to do all regular maintenance to keep up our lifetime warranty. This time, I needed an oil change and the cabin air filter changed. My wife scheduled the appointment and went in.The oil change was free (coupons from their first screw up) but they charged her $169 to install a cabin air filter! The filter was only $16 and they charged for 1.2hr labor - the car was not there 1.2hr for the entire job and the majority of that time was them running out to their warehouse to pick the filter up!If you have ever changed the cabin air filter on this car you know it is literally a 5 minute job, as with most every cabin air filters. I looked at the last time we had the dealer change the cabin air filter and they only charged $40 (and their filter cost $24).After calling and complaining about how they took advantage of my wife, he dropped the price from $169 to $50 (it didnt take much persuasion for him to concede to lower the price which tells me they knew they took advantage and just tried to get away with it); however, the lack of integrity displayed here clearly showed what kind of business they are running and we will have no part of it.In short, we will not be returning to this Conrads - and our final free oil change coupon will go unused.

Rob that runs the Conrads is absolutely amazing. Delivers way more than he promises. These guys are the best and I’ve dealt with them for years for a reason. Truly a great place to take your vehicle.

Should be able to give -5 stars for lying. They claim to work on any car but bring in a hybrid and watch the lies begin. In response to conrads reply sorry not falling for it. You guys advertise as a repair shop that can work on any vehicle you market yourselves as total car care that was deliberate and international deception.

When it comes to car repairs, you always get raped but Conrad’s at least treats you with dignity. I’ve been coming here for several years. Rex and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and helpful each and every time. There’s usually coupons online that they will apply if you show them. Free popcorn and coffee while I sit back and watch The Cleveland Show on TV. This Conrad’s is a positive establishment to experience in our community.

Staff was understanding of my scheduling issues and got my truck in and out in one day. Really appreciated the lack of upselling. I told him what I wanted and they did exactly that.

Dropped my car off for an inspection which would have been to look at everything on the vehicle for $66 whether it had a problem or not. I knew I had an oil leak and noise when I made tight turns and questions on my brakes. Was told if I had it in at 8 am they would have it seen in a few hours and could pick it up. Called at 2:30 car still hadnt been seen. Was called at 4:30 and was told my car was test driven and didnt seem to have problems and my ball joints were looked at but nothing else was check and they everything was fine but didnt actually do a total inspection. They didnt charge me but was told if I left it there til Monday they would do it all. YAL HAD MY CAR ALL DAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THAT DAY!!! honestly deserves 0 stars. Went to firestone got an inspection in less than an hour and only cost me $10.

Ordered 4 new tires, all the same size. They installed 3 of the correct size and one incorrect. The only way I noticed was that my TPMS was not working. They quickly got a new tire from another store to salvage the 2 vs 1 star rating.

Just an oil change and tire rotation. Waiting area has TV, popcorn and beverages. Nice touch. Free WiFi would be nice.But, I like that I don’t get “pressured “ to get some service I actually may not need. Will definitely be back.

Had a nine oclock appt for 4 tires to be replaced. Made this on Saturday. My car did not get worked on till after 11. It was close to noon before getting done. Think the walk ins took priority. Not sure. Nice enough. I know things happen. But it seemed too long of a wait.

At the end of the day, your guys got me in. 2 New front tires, 45 minutes later. Great job.

I had a coupon that was supposed to include a 4 tire rotation with my oil change. I got a call saying that they couldnt do the rotation unless I bought new lug nuts which sounds terribly suspicious since I just purchased four tires at the same location five weeks ago and they were installed with no problem.This is the second and last time I fall for the bait and switch!

Needed a front end aligned and2 tires they had car for2 days called me and said i needed a front end aligned.no kidding that is what i took it over for.i guess they did the align ment.in 30 min.Thats about when they called back and said its ready.then i ask about the warranty on the 2 NEW tires he said NO WARRANTY.

I have been going to Conrads in Akron/Ellet for years and the service keeps getting worse. I go there for mainly Oil changes I have had other services done there and this time I tried to use a discount email for a $43.95 full synth. oil change. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra with under 25k miles and had 2 oil changes on it so far which came to $52.95 each time. Today I went with the discount email and was charged $55.35 and asked why and the guy went on about having to charge for extra quarts of oil, and to be honest I felt like he was just trying to add to the price since I had the discount email. Then while waiting they tried to get me to have brake service for around $470 ... on a truck with under 25k miles?? have they not heard of a warranty .. why would I pay for that? anyways I think Conrads has lost a customer since now it seems that location is only about money grabs now. After getting the run around from 4 local tire companies, I reached out to Rob at Conrads in North Ridgeville about putting winter tires on my 340i stock rims. Unlike that other tire location that wanted me to sign a waiver in the event they damaged my rims, Rob and his team assured me that they would be able to change out the winter tires without causing any rim damage. More importantly, they delivered on their promise and hand my snow tires on within about an hour of dropping off my car. I highly recommend them.
