Great staff, everyone was very nice. The place itself was very well lit and clean. Also, my nails looked amazing and lasted a long time.

Because the COVID many nail salons are closing early or have a set number of capacity, so by the time I got out of work I couldnt find where to do my nails, until I bump with Nails Star...it was a miracle that I found them...I was the last person they took but she was very patient, gentle, treated me well, and my nails came out beautiful and I definitely go back

I was recommended this place when I was shopping at Ulta and I found my permanent salon! Sadly I dont remember my nail techs name but she literally recreated the picture I showed her. Ive went to places with all the bells and whistle but they werent even close to what I asked for. A place can look all shiny and nice but the work is what really matters

My technician was Vivian and shes very good. I really liked the way she shaped my nails and shes a very sweet person. She would get 5 stars.

I went in today to get my nails fixed. I had another nail place do them and they looked HORRIBLE. After a short wait, Annie got to work on my nails. She is AMAZING! She gave me exactly what I wanted and was very focused on detail. I will definitely be visiting again ❤

I mean the service is great but can someone explain why when I go in and try to sign it to use my points to get a discount, they always stop me and say do it at the end??? Why?? I cant use my points if I sign in during my check out

Went here for a long time but management/ownership changed and it is not good. If you make an appointment they do not honor it. You will wait even if you have scheduled an appointment. This has also caused some of their best nail techs to leave. The nail tech you have an appointment with would not even know that you were scheduled. Also when they reopened after COVID I noticed the facility is not very clean. There are many other nail salons that have great service and a clean environment. DO NOT ENTER ! They do not care about the customers or employees.

Loved my time here. I had the Star deluxe pedicure and gel nail polish this time around. The color I chose was a difficult color. The tech had to paint 5layers of color and 2layers clear coat. Looks beautiful. She did not rush or get upset that it needed that many layers to look vibrant and evenly coated. The Tech on my pedicure massaged me without rushing and felt extremely good. MY toes came out perfect. Well worth my money spent here. Sipped wine of course!

I just walked in to the nail star and will never go back. All i wanted done was my eyebrows. They told me to go back to the first door on the right. So I went and wait. Then the lady came in and started to do my eyebrows. I told her to just clean them up. Well now i have pencil lines on my face for eyebrows. The lady then told me that it was my fault for having one eyebrow shorter then the other. No, its not but if you know how to do your job then it shouldnt have been a problem. And she made me BLEED. When i asked to speak to a manager they told me the lady who did my eyebrows was the owner. I hope no one goes to them for eye brows.

I used to always have my nails done there for about 3+ years, always delivered great service and amazing results for my nails. They recently changed staff and Owner I guess... and that is not the best thing. Went there a couple of weeks ago with my friend, one of the employees had a big attitude towards my friend and didn’t not look happy while she was doing her nails, my friend asked her to do something specific for her nails and she tried to discourage her not to do it, because it would be “more work”. We felt so uncomfortable the whole time there. I’m so disappointed ... I wish the old staff and owner were back. They always put their customer first, no matter how hard the job was.

Ive been going Nail Star for about 2 years now and I love them. I always leave satisfied and always receive comments on my nails. Nathan is amazing and so are the girls. Everyone is very polite and attentive. I always recommend them when others ask where I go.

I love this place! My nails are always perfect and last forever! I have never had a problem with the job they do and they are the nicest people. I recommend them highly! I have not been able to get to them in 10 weeks and not 1 nail broke. Other bad reviews about the nails not holding up seems untrue to me.

Best to plan accordingly and either call ahead or schedule an appointment to avoid excess wait time because they do get busy. The staff is always friendly if you do have to wait, offers beverages and Netflix to help pass the time. The service is always quick which I appreciate because I typically visit on my lunch break. I always love my nails when I leave and enjoy their assistance as i typically struggle to decide how i want my nails done.

I went in last week, like my third time going here. I usually go to X Nails in Lewisville because they do my nails perfect! I always get a semi long nude pink glossy coffin. At X nails they do them $20 and I’m in and out. Well I couldn’t squeeze in an appointment at X so I came here. Great service which is why I give it two stars but the lady who did my nails :( I showed them a picture of the exact color... it came out white and not a glossy white a very dingy inconsistent white. I asked her a few times if the final color would look the way I asked and she said yes but it didn’t at all. Not to mention how weak the nails were. I broke 3 in a week. For $40 I’m actually disappointed. I don’t mind spending money but pls make it what I want at least and of quality.... I will wait for weeks for an appointment at X before I ever cheat on my nail tech again

I had the deluxe pedicure for $25 and it was worth every penny. The nail tech, Lisa, took her time and paid close attention to detail. The massage was nice and long, relaxing and felt fantastic. I will definitely return.

I went the first time two weeks ago great service came back yesterday with my mom he was getting busy and rushed us they messed my mom nails. My nails were suppose to be ombré a did not look like it at all because he rushed I told him something and he painted it just one color. I know I’m new and he has customers going there for years but that’s not how you treat new people never going back

Too bad I must choose at least 1 star. Tina did the dipping powder. She made my nails with several different shape. She cut the cuticle underneath my nail that it started to bleed and later got infected. When I went back to show Nate, the owner what type of service I had received, he told me not to come back and gave no apology. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have been a few times since to Castle Spa and had great experience.

Aside from nail technician being aggressive she applied the fake nails crooked and tried telling me it is bc my fingers are crooked I asked she correct them. I requested the coffin style nails, when she finished shaping them, they all came out in different shapes n sizes. I had them removed. Completely dissatisfied and would not recommend this place for trendy nail requests.

I had been coming to this place everytime I needed my nails taken care of and always left very satisfied. I always highly recommended Nail Star if you wanted great service and even better results.Recently they seem to have a completely new staff, renovations and began offering new services such as eyelash extensions. While i am happy for their opportunity to grow, i dont believe their nail services should fail as they have the last few times ive gone to get the same services ive always gotten. They now deliver low quality results at significantly higher prices.

They dont do any design at all. Got a fill and the next say the only nail I had fully replaced broke. Very poor customer service. Just got a fill and painted my own nails because they said designs are too hard

Love this place! Iv been coming more than a year now and I love that I never have to wait! Even when I come in on my lunch break they get me in and out in time and with quality work. Everyone does nails the same so I don’t have to pick a favorite. Nathan the owner knows what I want for color even when I don’t! I get Nexgen nails and picked a color I ended up not liking and came in a week later to change it and they didn’t even charge me full price when it was my fault. I’v witnessed on more than one occasion a customer come in and harass the employees, push their buttons, belittle them, curse at them, and they ALWAYS treat the customer with respect. This place has my business for life!

Never again...1st off I removed my own nails. I got the gel nails with the color powder. $40.00. My receipt said 40.00. I pay tips in cash. I signed for $40.00. When I checked my account the next day they had stolen $6 from me. $46.00.2nd I normallt bring my own tips and removed my own nails. I was charged $40.003rd I have given them several chances. Once the man who rushes you through service cut my finger and it bled badly. Blamed me saying he give me discount. 5 min later he complaining that I cost him money.I am not cheap. I dont mind at all paying for what I get but DO NOT steal from me. That will be my very last time ever setting foot in this place. Oh... three of my nails popped off a few days later and the other 7 were lifting in a week.

Came here to get my nails done on the 28 of June. My nail was uneven and rough looking, the very next day my right pinky broke and I went back to get it fixed, they were looking at me crazy when I said I had just gotten my nails like nobody wanted to fix it. Less than a week later all my nails has popped out, I normally get the dip and this has been my worst experience. Nails lasted less than a week after paying $70 for my hands and feet and I can’t even show them off. This has to be the worst service I have ever received!! If I could give this no stars I would!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you want overpriced nails that won’t last long. Only reason I went here is because it was close to my house but never again. Lesson learned. Go at your own risk

Ive been reading the recent reviews to see if it has gotten any better since Ive gone in the past. It seems like Nathan the owner is asking and/or begging people to write him some good reviews to cover up the bad ones instead of just correcting his mistakes and behavior. Which is very unprofessional, but also the truthful reviews are those bad ones. Unless youre one of their regular/favorites they wont give you a satisfactory job. Yes they always say If you dont like it or something is wrong come back and we will fix it! Then as I see many others have said themselves they get basically pushed to the side and no focus when it comes to Nathan doing their nails. If you want to be the owner, then be the owner and handle the front desk and money, but you cant handle all that on top of doing customers nails because the lack of focus does make the outcome terrible. Ive gone 7 times and stopped because the 6th time I came around 4pm with my scheduled appointment (rather than coming in the morning like the previous appointments) and Nathan was constantly leaving or turning around to check on everyone else, watching his employees as if he doesnt trust them or what theyre doing and my nails came out the worst Ive ever seen them, even from other nail places Ive tried... The first few times were great and I loved my nails, thats why I went back so many times, then I came back the 7th and final time Nathan said to me Ill fix for you this time, and dont come back. That right there shows how little he cares, especially when there hasnt been any previous issues or going back every time, etc. If you tell your customers to come back if theres any issues everytime, and the one time the customer does return to get them fixed you make that rude statement as if you dont appreciate your customers. I came back because I trusted him to fix it, no problem, instead of just completely stop going as many other people tend to do. I gave them another chance and he turned me away.Dont go telling your customers to not come back when they just want to have nice nails and gave you another chance to do good.Dont go telling your regulars to post nice reviews and backlash at a customer who just wanted to feel good about her nails. Do you know how childish and unprofessional that is, and to say that to multiple customers is even worse.Even if this place fixes their wronging, I will not step foot back in here unless its under new management.

AWFUL! I had been to this place 2-3 times, all ok. Then went yesterday @ 3pm. Got really busy shortly after I got there. The owner, Nathan, was doing my nails and trying to handle customers coming in wanting manicure/pedicures. Therefore, he was not able to give his full attention doing my nails which is why they looked terrrible! I didnt say anything because he was so busy & everyone was being rushed. As I was leaving he said u no like, come back, I fix for u. So, I decided to go back this morning when they opened to get nails fixed. Nathan didnt seem happy about it but was doing it any way. As doing my nails he kept shaking his head. He finally said I fix for you this time but next time you go elsewhere. I was beside myself when he told me that especially coming from the owner. He had done he dip powder & it was WAY obvious some were thicker than others, they were all rough at the tips & not even. I dont expect perfection but I do expect good service and honoring their word when saying come back if dont like them he will fix it. NOT TRUE!!! Instead he took it personal or didnt want to take the time to fix but he had screwed up. Poor customer service, everyone is rushed like cattle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE & I WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE BACK. I SUGGEST THE SAME FOR ALL READING THIS REVIEW & OTHER REVIEWS THAT I SEE HAVE SIMILAR COMPLAINTS.

Excellent work. Excellent service. Excellent pricing. The main guy is a nail ninja (in my opinion), very efficient and offers useful recommendations to help ensure you leave pleased. I never leave business reviews but today he really made my day and they deserve credit. Havent gotten my nails done in years, went to them last week and got acrylic nails for my bday weekend. Went in with picture of challenging nails design I found on Pinterest and left with exactly what I wanted. It was an unusually long nail style and in 6 days I managed to accidentally break some off, went in today saying please HELP ..Long story short I blew too much money my bday weekend, didnt have enough to cover what he quoted me, was planning on just having him take them off even though Ive only had them a week and he ended up working with my budget and I left with beautiful new nails:) yay. He def won me over as a regular today and will certainly receive generous tips for me moving forward.

Second worst Mani/Pedi ever. Only reason there was one worse is because (Serenity Nails in Frisco) they literally, blistered my foot with the paraffin.This place seemed clean, had good reviews. Paid for the upgraded Mani/Pedi for the extra massage. This was for Mothers Day so my daughter and Mom were with me. There was maybe...MAYBE...3 minutes of massage total.All three of us chose the same package and were sitting next to each other. Moms didnt start until mine and my daughters were 15 minutes in - and this was WITH an appointment booked the day before. None of the three of us had the same thing happen, there was NO consistency.When I went to the bathroom after my mani/pedi was finished, I was totally disgusted. It was filthy. If I had used the restroom prior to our appointments, we would have left.

These people are liars and thieves with subpar services at the very best. I went in for a mani/pedi. My pedicure started with a woman who did not buff my feet, used lotion with ingredients I am allergic to, could not file my nails straight and was finally assisted by an experienced technician. She proceeded to buff my nail however I have small nail beds and she went straight across my feet. I kept telling her it hurt and pulling my feet away but was still left with four bloody toes one of which is so deep she blamed me for it. I finally said stop, dont polish, dont cut/file anymore, lets just call this a draw and move on. They told me I didnt have to pay since I was now bloody injured and the service was not performed/finished. My mani started fine then quickly went from there to holy hell just stop. No cuticle care, she started to clip my cuticle but was scared to hurt me again so she ended up going through the motions which included scraping the tool down my nails. She then used scented lotion with glitter and was about to put polish over it. I just wanted a clear coat but not glittered. I stopped her and she suggested a hand wash which I took as quickly as possible. When I returned I said that this clearly isnt working, my nails are more damaged than when I came in and my feet hurt to much to just stick around. I went up to pay for the mani and the more experienced technician came back to check me out. I handed her my card and said how much just for the mani? She said I had to pay for the combo. I reminded her that she waived the pedi since I am not bleeding, no polish or finished product was produced in either event and that she told me I wasnt going to. She then told me that I misunderstood her and that she would give me a discount not for free THEN SWIPED MY CARD!! I honestly felt robbed, as if she had gone in my purse and just took money out. So now I dont have a manicure or a pedicure, my nails arent straight or polished, my hands have trenches dug in my nails covered in glitter and I have lotion Im allergic to coving my legs AND SHE LIED AND STOLE FROM ME!! I am absolutely livid with this establishment and the people that work there. I cannot encourage you enough to find anywhere else to have your nails done. ANYWHERE ELSE!

My wife got her nails done here and she told me they left it a mess. they charged her more then what she always pays and ended up with nails that look like a 10 year old did them. The cashier ws rude to her as well this was about 2-3 days ago. Shell never be going again.
