Another one of those places that I visit where I am thoroughly impressed by the kindness of the store owners design motivation. All of the employees seem to be trained by psychologists about how to deal with customers when I go in person, and I have always had a beautiful interaction here with the establishment, just dont forget your ID card!

I find it irritating that we pay an exorbitant amount of money for sub-par equipment and services only to be informed that we have to bring any faulty equipment in to exchange and that rehooking said equipment is our responsibility. Seriously? Im not employed by Spectrum so why am doing there work?

They will actually. Send your things to your door please make sure you are home before anyone orders internet. Only so that you may actually receive your order. And they will bill you after you either self install the product your self and use your info for set up because it can be a pain trying to set up internet without internet. So be clear when you speak and tell them the address you will more then most likely be staying. Or els you will be paying for equipment and service for someone other then it self so again make sure once you get a sells person on the phone. Do not have your phone on speaker or els you might end up with trying to set your internet up to or by email. And find out the email is Cap lock and is not your email but other then that you will get your bill the day you hook up up service or you can waite for someone to come out to you.and hook it up for you. its not to hard to do yourself you dont need phone line just what they send you or in other words what you order.k and if you choose to have a tech man come to you I do believe you will be charged a fee for service 😉

The one problem I have is payment arrangments, before I was able to get a payment extension. I was told on the phone they could only push it out a couple of days, not till when I get paid. I let them know I get paid on a certain day. Its rare to get one, these days. Im considering taking my business elsewhere if they will not make payment arrangements. Ive been shut off a couple of times without being able to make arrangements. thats not good service its terrible. It is what it is but I think there should be more leniency during a pandemic.

Worst prices, worst service, always being throttled, advertises unrealistic speeds. Faulty hardware that they bill you on as well.. Poor distribution in general, in eastern washington you have no choice in the matter either way, not much isp competitors. Extremely dissatisfied..

Great service. They were very helpful. Even saved me $10 a month going into the branch to pick up my modem and router. Someone at the counter seen that I was paying an extra $10 for home phone service which I didnt need and I was told originally over the phone that if I bundled I would be saving money. But they caught it and Im grateful for that.

I would give them a zero if I could. We moved and returned all of the equipment that they asked for. I asked if there was anything else they told me no, youre good. I got a letter from a collection agency that stated Spectrum had sent me to collections for failure to return another piece of equipment. Rather than call me to let me know about it or ask me about it they just sent it to collections. We had multiple problems with them over the years. Never again. They have lost my business. If they were the only internet I could get I wouldnt.

Ive recently had a poor experience with customer service in the business department. I have been trying to set up an auto attendant feature for our store for nearly three weeks. The first two times I requested the feature, I was told that it would be accessible within 24-48 hours. Not only did it take longer than 48 hours, but the feature was also added to the wrong line. BOTH TIMES. Third time, they finally had it set up for the correct line.Every time I have called for assistance in setting up the feature, Ive been helped by people who have very little understanding of how the feature works, and Im usually told that a someone with more knowledge on the situation will get back to me within 24 hours.I am never called back during the hours Im in my office.

Down all the time. Not reliable enough to work from home with at all. If you plan on working remotely out of Yakima, you might be better off using your phone as an internet tether. Internet is down almost every night around midnight. Sometimes its down in the morning still too. Seems to be an every other day occurance. Cant work from home reliably using spectrum.

I went in there Friday night and Sandi was awesome. Quick customer service very knowledgeable and personable. She got me everything I needed to get started. Had an all around great experience. Cable service is continually getting worse and worse. For the fourth time in the last month I’ve come home and have had to stop recordings in order to get sound. Also, the disruptions/pixelation is the worst I have experienced between charter, dish and direct. Doesn’t seem to matter what station I record. I have had to delete so many recordings because they were impossible to watch due to this. Also their internet speed has continually gotten slower ever since they started sending out ads (pay 20 dollars more). For what!!! The speed I used to have when I initially signed up!! If you have a choice go with ANYONE else I don’t have that choice since I moved here so I’m stuck with this mess.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Customer service is by far the worst Ive ever experienced with a company. Went in last month to change service after my wife added me to the account, then go in the next month to question the billing because the amount was still the same and they said they couldnt talk to me because I wasnt listed on the account. Funny I was on there when I changed service. Standard answer, theres no note of it, but it was obviously there when I turned in equipment and changed service. Every experience with this place is an exercise in frustration. Cant wait for a real competitor to come into Yakima and put them out of business.

Worst experience ever Never had service and received a bill for 261 dollars after finally getting that straight received a call telling me my cost to install service to my home would cost over 2000 dollars (the service was disconnected under the road). Good luck dealing with this company. Prices go up, they dont track your changes to your account, and keep your receipt when you turn your equipment in since they dont track that either and you can wind up paying $140 a month for THEIR mistake. Absolutely horrible company.

To drop off a modem, I didnt like being 8th in the queue. You can be behind folks deciding on which services and packages, and getting new accounts established. Glad I brought my cell phone and coffee mug. Second visit in a weeks time for modem drip-off, so gets a bit tiresome. Staff are reasonable, competent.

I find it interesting that we see commercials about special offers to new customers to charter. YET the regular long term good paying customers receive nothing in appreciation for their loyalty. It seems that the grocery stores are the only businesses that appreciate customer loyalty and continued use of there product.

Started with a 44.99 deal and out of no where increase to almost 70.00$ out of no were no notice or nothing.Then they want to get add-ons to lower my rates but in reality the price goes up. Im a loyal customer, pay my bill always on time dont understand why you charge me so much.Also, dont pay over phone with billing they do charge additional fee.

I have been a good customer for 10 years or more yet they threatened to cut my service for a past due amount of $59. Even after I explained my father has a pacemaker defibrillator that is monitored using our Wi-Fi. The man I talked to could have pushed that date for me but he refused. I always pay my bill ran into an issue this month and last month as I am disabled and doing my best. I will no longer recommend Spectrum to people who have other choices I on the other hand have no other choice theres no other cable company other than satellite.

The phone service and customer service is well below acceptable. When my company phones are down for more a full day and you have to call in on your cell phone to be treated like crap it is time to change. When your completion across the street from you uses a more reliable carrier and has had phone service all day it is time to change. There is no excuse for poor customer service from a company their size.

Ive been told twice by Sales that my house was serviceable (when it is not) only to have the tech come out and tell me they cant do anything for me because nothing hooked up yet.The main line that is there is just sticking out of the ground. One department has no idea what the other is doing. Come to find out that reason our area isnt serviceable right now is because Spectrum doesnt have the funding to pay the sub-contractor the hired to install the infrastructure where I live. Ive wasted hours of my time and ended up with nothing but frustration. Some of the worst customer service Ive ever received

We have received over 5 calls to upgrade our services in the past few months, and although we ask to be removed from the call list every time, they keep calling. I talked to a manager when they called today; they were unhelpful and mildly rude. Were loving the fast internet, but the constant up-selling and disregard for our privacy is atrocious.

The technicians that have come to my home are competent and friendly. The old remotes that come with the updated cable boxes are clunky to use and there is no voice recognition. Coming from an Xfinity market it is like going way back in time. Spectrum, please update your remotes.

I dont think it deserves a star. Maybe a corner of a star for the workers attendance for the day. 👏 scammed me for 63 more dollars. I didnt know I had to pay extra. Especially since I prepaid for that month then, went in and canceled it 5 days before the end of the month period. Walked in said my piece and they fixed my account and took the unwanted equipment. The lady was curtious and nice, though find the guy standing next to the sign in tablet odd as it felt like a well dressed bouncer. Other than that its clean inside.Should note its got tiny parking lot with equally tiny maneuvering space. Traffic can make it hard to get in or out. Their sign only says charter and not chapter spectrum or charter communications.

As far as I know, no other Internet Service Provider in my area can offer speeds anywhere near as fast as Charter Communications. This essentially gives them a monopoly in my area allowing them to charge whatever they please. If they raise their prices there is pretty much nothing you can do about it.Edit: Theyve raised my monthly bill by more than $20 since I signed up for the initial internet package with no end in sight.

Would not recommend them. For the first year my bill was $126 the second year it went up to $160 this upcoming year it will be $193 for only internet and tv. Very dishonest with there pricing I even spoke to one of there managers and he couldn’t tell me why it went other then it is the end of the promotional year. A couple years ago I had internet and cable. I kept the internet but cut the cable to save money. When I brought the cable box to the Yakima office it was no problem. The lady was polite didnt try to sell me anything. . The internet service has been good. Between my antenna & Roku Ive got plenty to watch. Thanks for the good service!

Internet down again here in yakima . What am I paying for always goes down and. Will work at a crawl for a couple minutes here and there and then down again almost every night. Call tech support they say theyre probably doing maintenance in the area. They are always doing maintenance. The staff on our local office is polite, but spectrum as a whole is horrible. Their prices are totally misleading, the support service upsells you everytime you call. I recieve very expencive and fancy weekly mailers in my physical mail box weekly asking me to become a customer when I already am. The money spent on advertising alone, would probably be enough to fix the dail up speed internet my house in subjected to. If there were any one else here in the Valley offering internet I would immediately switch. If you have options other then spectrum, use them.

Only got one star because there are no negatives, worst phone service ever. The phone is crackly, hangs up on you randomly and hasnt worked in at least two days. Spent 30 minutes on phone with tech person. Ran me out to garage 3 different times, can you people not service your phone customers-I recommend going with Any other phone service other than charter. They just want your money and could care less when what they deliver is inadequate, thinking g about getting rid of their crappy phones. Will just go with us cellular-at least their phone service works.

My sister had an installer at her place on Saturday and realized after he left that he stole her pain pills. The guy has now threatened her and his friend is also threatened to f---- her up. She lives alone and has several medical issues. Now, she is in pain and Spectrum is dragging their heels in getting the matter resolved. The police have intervened and are patrolling the area several times a day. She lives in Wisconsin and I live in anorher state so its not like I can just pick her up to stay with me.What kind of background checks is Spectrum doing. When I had my Spectrum installed, the young guy asked to use my bathroom twice. IT didnt sound like he was using the toilet. I heard him dropping something. Thankfully we dont keep our pain pills in the bathroom.Very disappointed in this company and the kind of people they employ. I recently went back to Directv who spends a month on training their employees. The young man who came was very professional and courteous.
