So I had an issue with my car and I told him the check engine code, I really had no idea what it meant. He told me how to remedy it myself before I bring it in to him. I am super impressed with the professionalism and willing to help out without me paying him. Great company and owner!

I have taken cars to Spikes for over 20 years. He is a dream mechanic especially to a woman. He is excellent, knowledgeable, and fair priced. He is the best I have ever encountered. I would never go to someone else unless I lived out of state.

Ive had Spike repair a few of my cars and hes done an exceptional job. I recently called him with a check engine light that said my catalytic converter was bad. He told me to run a bottle of Techron with high octane fuel up Parleys canyon and back to see if that would clean it out. It did the trick and it was only a $30 fix. Thanks Spike - Thats honesty. 3 other shops had me at $500 or more for the repair.

Spike has always been honest and fair with me. He is very knowledgeable about cars and is willing to educate you if you desire. He understands the science and technology behind it. He is also willing to refer you to other qualified people for work that he feels is not best for him to do.

In your life, you are lucky to find one honest mechanic. They are a dying breed... Spike is fair, honest, and an excellent mechanic. We have used him for nearly four years now, on a variety of cars. We recently took a car in thinking it needed a new alternator, and Spike found out a few bolts were just loose. Find me a mechanic who will do THAT! Our kids travel from Logan to have Spike work on their car.

This man is the best! Straight forward stand-up guy, honest, and very knowledgeable. I went to Tunex before and was told a job would likely take a couple hours and to expect to pay a couple hundred bucks. I couldnt afford it so I put it off. I brought it into Spike (per a friends recommendation) a couple months later and guess how long it took him? 10 minutes. WTF tunex?!And no, Im not an idiot. Im an avid do-it-yourself-er and I do most of my mechanical work on my own. It is so hard to find a mechanic you can trust, and until now I havent found one. Ill be back to Spikes for sure.

Spikes came highly recommended for alignments, took my car in today and was very happy with the results!!

Spike does great work and he only does what is necessary. Unless its warranty work that has to be done by a dealer, I wont take my cars to anyone else.
