I got a new iPhone today at the Verizon store on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, NJ. Mark, the manager, was excellent. He suggested a way to get the phone for less, and I wound up with a plan with more data for less than I had been paying. The process was easy, quick and enjoyable.

I was at this location about 2 or 3 weeks ago looking to get a new phone. Upon arrival there was a sign that said, “Welcome, please wait here for assistance”, as I was patiently waiting I noticed by looking inside that there was a worker falling asleep. I did not think of much but as I was greeted and taken inside going over the prices and what phone would be best for me. The guy was falling asleep constantly. It was just him working there so I was not able to go to someone else who would’ve been helpful but that is very unprofessional!!! He was constantly falling asleep and almost fell out of his seat at times. Not only was there sleeping problems, he was constantly making abrupt jokes and being extremely sarcastic. He was very rude to me and I would not recommend anyone to go to this location, especially when this guy is working!! I have been to this location many times before and I have never had an experience like this. I would always deal with Fernando or Paul every time I would go and it would always be a pleasure but never this guy. I did call back a couple days later complaining to the store. I believe his name was Mark and he is the manager at this location. Terrible look on verizon!

We came in a family of 3 to get new phones and change carriers ! Paul was very busy and when it was our turn he was so patient , never rushed us and helped us totally get 3 new phones ! *** WARNING *** DIsrespectful and try to take advantage of the elderly. My mother went there with an iPhone issue and all the salesperson did is push a new $800 iphone on her over and over. He accused her of getting the phone wet and that it now needed to be replaced. When she denied that it ever got wet he switched to saying that her phone case caused the phone to fail. When she was adamant that she wanted to keep her current phone and wasnt going to buy a new one, the salesperson got indignant and belittled her. She left the store flustered and upset.This VERIZON store will never see business from my family ever again.On the flip side, the VERIZON store salesperson in Pompton Plains (by Stop-n-Shop) was my moms hero. They were courteous and respectful and made her feel comfortable. And, in the end, all the phone needed was a reboot to fix it.

Mark was very knowledgeable and took his time helping me...I am a senior citizen and its hard to learn all of this stuff, but he took his time to make sure I understood how the plan works and how my new phone will work.I would recommend Mark anytime!!!

Zhaf to come in for a new phone. old one was making popping sounds. Fernando suggested a nice mid-priced model which suited my needs very well. He set up everything promptly and suggested a few accessories all in all a pleasant experience in a safe atmosphere. The following morning I came back with a few questions which were answered clearly.

Bad service, the associate helping me let me sit for 45 min for an online order pickup while he sat and watched another customer forget their password and username for half an hour. Only to finally be helped and have them tell me there was an issue with the brand new phone i had upgraded to. Now i have to wait an extra 2 days after paying for a brand new iphone. Nice work verizon...

Been to this store before and have never been more impressed. Brian Lake was the most helpful, informative person Ive ever come across at Verizon. We were looking to hook up an old phone due to a cracked screen and wanted to get out of our contract to switch to T-Mobile or at&t in February. Instead we left with two new phones and a better plan. I would highly recommend this store and Brian because he was honest and knowledgeable unlike most people Ive encounter either in store or on the phone. You want to make sure your getting the best deal and not scammed, exactly how I use to feel with Verizon... now I do not feel that way after one visit. Thank you Brian!

I never write reviews, but the service I received from Jennifer and Marcel today was so great that I have to mention it. I had not been to this location before today, but now, I will only go to this one. It was a pleasure working with them from beginning to end. They were helpful, kind and honest... as a customer, I felt important and like they had my best interest at hand the whole time. Total professionals... great representation of what I would think Verizon would want to stand for. Im a very happy customer!

Marcel was very helpful and took the stress out of changing phone providers. We went in not sure if verizon wireless was the best option for us since being a sprint member for over 10yrs but Marcel quickly changed our minds. Santiago and Juan were working here when I first entered the shop. Upon my immediate arrival, one of the employees and his customer (of a family) were joking about China products and how easily they break. There was nothing wrong with this (because its true), but then the employee turned and looked straight at me, for I am Asian. I know he didnt mean to make a racist comment, and it wasnt, but he treated me as if it were. Then, when I went to have my phone fixed by Juan, not only was he impatient with me, but he was not efficient, accommodating, nor was he pleasant. He asked for a social security password, and as I was pulling it up, he tapped his fingers, implying he was very impatient. Then when I gave it to him, with a sheepish grin, he said Oh, my bad. I didnt need that actually. Are you kidding me? Learn to do your job right. These two employees made my experience at this Verizon location horrible and unforgettable. It is no wonder that they never seem to have as much service as there locations around town.

Went there to get my Ting phone # moved to Verizon on my girlfriends account. Staff was pleasant and friendly and did most of the conversion. However, when they asked for my pin # for the conversion I had no idea what they were talking about and gave my standard 4 digit pin #. Nobody asked where did you get that pin # from? so it took an extra day to get it straightened out. Staff clearly was not used to porting telephone numbers and should have had a check list.

I bought a new iPhone 7. We asked the representative to transfer the info from my old iPhone to the new one. He did that. However. When we tried to update our apps it was not possible as there were random apple ids on the phone. Apparently when transferring the data the Verizon rep neglected to clear the server. So we got apps with random apple ids making it impossible to update anything as each id requires a password.The solution, after several days of talking to other reps was to delete all my apps and reload them. With some loss of data and many hours of work.Things are still not as they were.Ill never visit a retailer again.

I went in today for my upgrade and joell helped me pick out my phone, helped me find a good case and screen protectors. He had an awesome personality, very friendly and helpful. Shocked when I got home to see that I was charged for items I thought came with the phone and my trade in credit was used to pay for them. NOTHING was explained that I was paying for bogus add ons when purchasing my phone. Extremely annoyed and plan on returning everything. Robert H should explain the costs that go in to everything BEFORE charging.

I went in because my phone appeared to be broken and it was the nearest store. First, I was told that they couldnt fix it at that store but if I exchanged my current handset, I could get a new one for no extra cost. Then as we had a look at the extremely limited selection of phones in the store, it appeared that I would have to pay $100 to buy out the remainder of my contract as well as it wasnt quite up, which is fine but informationI needed from the start. Then as we discussed further, the woman told me that I would have to pay an additional $170 in miscellaneous fees, but she couldnt tell us exactly what for. The final straw was when she said that she couldnt guarantee my current phone would be accepted in the exchange and we might get charged another $200 after the case.We opted to go to a bigger verizon store 15 minutes away where I walked in, had my phone assessed by a tech support guy, then picked up a new S7 with a mophie battery case for a grand total of $120. It was much less confusing, much less hassle, much more choice and above all I didnt feel like I was being gouged. I suggest you give this store a miss and go to a bigger one nearby.

RIP-OFF ARTISTS. They charged an UNAUTHORIZED upgrade fee to my Verizon bill when my daughter went there to buy her phone. They sold her a FLAWED PHONE that BROKE 2 WEEKS LATER and Verizon refused to replace it and said we had to go through insurance and get a crappy refurb for $99. They treated my daughter and her father LIKE GARBAGE. AVOID THIS STORE.
