Even if I was convinced that each five-star review was authentic, it would have no mathematical bearing. In other words, your odds of being struck by lightning, or winning the lottery five times in a row, or locating Jimmy Hoffas remains, are still significantly higher than your chances of experiencing quality care and treatment here.

I love my counselor! Shes very active in giving me things to work on and she always finds a way to keep me in line and focused. I also love my prescriber! shes amazing and really goes over everything top to bottom!

The owner and staff at Restart/Evaluate Behavioral Health and Wellness/NVCAMM will do their very best to help further fracture your already compromised mental stability in more ways than you ever knew existed. I honestly urge anyone to run. Run far away. Go to any place else but here. PLEASE. :(

I have had nothing but a good, professional experience with this organization.There were some hiccups with billing early on, but all easily resolved and my phone calls have always been returned within 24/hrs.I am endlessly thankful for the care I’ve received and the compassion and understanding I have been treated with despite some of my poorer life choices coming to light in a way that may have potentially affected my ability to receive the appropriate medication management with more conservative providers.It would not be out of line to say that it has literally saved my life, and I am eternally grateful for it.

Just look at how backbiting this owner Stacey gets when people leave valid concerns on here. That alone should be revealing. If youd like to be potentially put through much worse, this is the place for you.They put my family mbr on an addictive/controlled medications, which in all honesty is not the problem bc the meds were showing signs they may work. However, its hard to make that distinction for sure bc every month were put through this same game of phone tag and unanswered messages. We either cant get a hold of anyone in the office, cant get anyone toreturn our calls, or they do not communicate with one another, or they simply do not do what they promise, etc. It has been well over a week since hes had his prescriptions refilled. Think about that, OVER A WEEK without needed medication. And its certainly not due to lack of effort on our part. Ive placed at least a dozen calls just this past week, and that doesnt count the amount of times he has called. Still nothing. Now my family and I get to spend the long labor day weekend watching him experience incredible mental distress and growing physical discomfort.Sadly enough we are at their mercy until we can get him into a setting that actually cares for its patients and treats them professionally, which is months away. And heaven forbid you approach the owner Stacey with these valid complaints. You will be cast aside and insulted. I too find it hard to believe these five stars rvws are not mostly from the malicious mindset of the owner Stacey. Whom by the way, has absolutely NO medical credentials. She has no business being in the mental health community and should be ashamed of how she treats those who are just seeking help . You are gambling with your mental health if you go here.

**Please STAY AWAY FROM THIS FACILITY**Stacey Recchia is the person on here openly invalidating anyones experience that was remotely negative. She has no medical background, training, or license, but is unfortunately in regular contact with patients. She advised me at every opportunity thats shes the owner of this facility, yet she uses profane language and is dishonest when communicating with patients and/or their loved ones. Miss Recchia is outwardly vengeful and spiteful to anyone who voices even the slightest concern. She taunted me as I cried to her over the phone, inducing a full-blown panic attack. I havent had one of those in YEARS. Then, over the sounds of my sobbing and gasping for air, she continued to verbally taunt me by threatening to further limit my access to mental healthcare, then proceeded to call me a s*** show. I humiliatingly wept and begged her to please meet me with just basic levels of empathy, understanding, and professionalism. I was met with the exact opposite. To call this experience traumatic would be an understatement. My mental health hasnt just suffered from the awful treatment and relentless errors, it has noticeably declined. I was never given a mere our apologies, or any level of accountability. They dont refill medication on time or seem to even have any regard for med management period. They dont keep appointments. They dont follow thru with what they assure you they are going to do, and they do not communicate with each other AT ALL...to name a few. This is just the tip of the iceberg and sadly, its all at the expense of the patient. But hey, mistakes happen. When I advocated for myself about these unrelenting mistakes I was verbally blasted, again, by the owner Stacey Recchia. I dont doubt that there are some professional folks who work there, but unfortunately it is under HORRIBLE ownership.I also wouldnt trust all 5 star reviews as many seem to come from the same person...a dishonest and manipulative approach thats par for the course.

I saw Karen Cooper Tripp. I briefly told her how I had a falling out with my parents over politics and haven’t spoken to them in 2.5 years. I told her how I think this is contributing to my anger and sadness. She asked me what side we were each on. I learned she wasn’t on my side, which is fine. BUT, she started spouting off about her political beliefs, while putting mine down. She labeled me bipolar within 30 minutes of getting to know me. Oh, and if you need to reach her, good luck. You may have to wait 48-72 hours because she only checks “this” email every few days. She does this as a side gig. If you’re looking to get help, this woman is not for you!!!!

I reached out to NVCAMM/Restart after suffering several panic attack. Never having any history of panic attacks or aniexty I was at a full loss of what was going on with me. I called to make my appt after discussing with staff what was going on the matched me with Tulie. She was amazing sat and gave me a full understanding of what I was going through and why. My experience with NVCAMM/Restart was nothing but positive. From the minute I walked in the door and was great by the awesome front desk receptionist. I was a nervous reck walking in but was quickly out at ease, with their professionalism and knowledge. I highly recommend them

This place is the worst. Dont try to call them because they wont pick up your calls. Just save yourselves.

Mohammad ElsamraIm glad in America our pharmacies keep and provide us with records/dates etc :)This doctor was ramdonly sending to the pharmacy crazy bomb of meds not needed..and never discussed with patient or Caregiver at all.I was able to save this patient life.This doctor started acting very weird not wanting to allow witness on appt against patient bill of rights to advocacy.He needs to be investigated, all the patients he is prescribing need a review by a real doctor on pharmacy records.We had a pharmacy owner complaining about the bomb of meds sent by this doctor to the patients.I have records on hands for anyone to see how dangerous this individual call it doctor could be for others....This time he messed with the wrong family.Trying to hurt someone whos extremely cared for and loved..not a good choice.

I have never encountered a more unprofessional and uncaring staff. I don’t even know if the staff speaks to each other because they all have a different response to questions. My daughter (who was diagnosed with depression and anxiety) was terminated without a call, email, letter etc. The office manager is rude, oblivious to the needs of patients, and appears to be uneducated. The manager would not refill my daughter’s prescription which she needs to take DAILY but she did find the time to call my spouse at work and she was irate and insulting. You would be doing your loved one a disservice if you chose the “place” to get help for him or her. This facility is an absolute disgrace.

I could not thank this group of caring clinicians for helping me and my family. Everyone that I have come across here is genuinely kind, caring and vested straight down to the owners. They truly care about helping those who seek their services. Caring, friendly and most of all professional folks here. Highly recommend if you are looking for counseling or medication management services. Thank you again for everything you have done and have faith you will continue to do.

I was able to see Dr Patrick, in the Middlebury office. I was so impressed, he was honest with me and told my some things that I may not have wanted to hear but needed to. And , as a bonus he’s easy on the eyes.. I recommend Dr Brew he Will listen and not judge you. Ty

Called around to 3 other local mental health places and never heard anything back. My friend sees a therapist here and recommended I call too. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and called right back after I left a vm. I chose to come to the office but they did offer telehealth sessions. I highly recommend Elaina, I’ve seen her 4 times now and I really am happy with her.

As a clinician, I have worked with Lee quite a bit with a number of shared clients. She has helped my clients struggling with severe PTSD obtain their medical marijuana in a pain free, sensitive, trauma informed way (especially with my first responders clients). Clients feel heard and are able to obtain their card without feeling any judgement. Lee is compassionate and wonderful at what she does, I’d recommend her to anyone!

My child will follow mike wherever he goes! Closer to our house and nice clean space. Great coffee to Highly recommend, met one of the owners the other day waiting for my son to get out of session and she was so down to earth and took time to sit and talk.

They employ a prescriber named Arleen. She hung up on me to book a flight. Left me hanging for over two hours. Did not listen to anything I said, and prescribed a drug to me for the one thing I don’t actually have! Absolutely absurd. I hurt for clients who come to her who are not as educated as I am that are taken advantage of by this absolute crook.PS. If you struggle with substance abuse do NOT see Linda, according to the people that work there, she has no patience for that. Well Linda, maybe get another job. Absolutely horrid.

Best counseling I have ever experienced. Extremely helpful and understanding. Very efficient in getting me in with a therapist. The staff was respectful and understanding and I highly recommend going, best experience I’ve ever had. Mike is the best!!!

This office has helped my family and I tremendously. We were desperate for services. After calling several offices and being turned away for one reason or another, Stacey at Naugatuck Valley Counseling took the time out of her day to listen to my familys struggles and issues. we were experiencing. She was extremely kind and accommodating. She paired us with the perfect counselor and now my family is well on the way to healing and being able to move forward. We cant thank the staff at this office enough.

The kindest, most professional and caring counselors I have met right down to the owner. I had negative experiences with other counseling places but I was so relieved when I found Naugatuck Valley Counseling & Medication Management. I Highly recommend them.

I work in an OBGYN office in Waterbury, and Naugatuck Valley is our main referral source. Our clients report nothing but positive feedback, the clinicians are responsive when looking to collaborate and Stacy is more than accommodating with getting our clients in. I have read the reviews, and can only see that someone is intentionally trying to spam the business. I urge you to call, and speak to either of the ladies who answer the phone and you’ll get a better sense of the business happenings here.

The lady on the phone is rude and unhelpful! You think these people would be kind considering what’s happening in this world. It’s like what pandemic???! I instantly felt worse! Awful experience!!!!! I agree the 5 star reviews are not reliable. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE.

I met with Patrick Brew and have never been treated so insensitively by a medical professional in my life. I am 23 weeks pregnant and he made me feel as though I was doing irreparable harm to my unborn child by taking suboxone. When my OB, PCP, and APRN ALL agreed that I should maintain the medication while pregnant. He was incredibly reluctant to help me or to hear differing opinions on the matter. I offered to have him speak to my OB about it but he refused. I left the office incredibly upset because of how he chose to treat me. It was so unprofessional. Even if he had concerns about me being on suboxone while pregnant, he could have communicated those concerns in a compassionate and respectful way. Instead he was more concerned about a possible lawsuit and trying to tell me that my baby is suffering or will have some defect because of the suboxone. He does not know my medical history or anything about me (this was the first appointment) and yet he thought it would be a good idea to insult and belittle me. I cannot speak to the other providers at this facility but Patrick Brew is not cut out to work in the mental health field with such a callous and insensitive approach. Would definitely NOT recommend.

I have to say I was impressed at the sincerity of the staff and the willingness to actually want to help,the process to match me with a counselor was very personal and gave me the feeling that there was more at work here than the run of the mill places who just shuffle us through the process to move on to the next,I couldnt be more pleased with my experience at this place and actually look forward to seeing them at my next appointment THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND KEEP DOING💖💖💖

From beginning to end my experience was terrible! The girl who answered the phone was curt and not helpful. My councilor was distant and disinterested. This was a total waste of my time and money. I do not recommend this agency at all!

I’m so grateful that I have found such a great team to help me overcome my issues .Stacey helped me in so much in a matter of seconds in my issues that I been triying to fix for months.she’s a wonderful person herself . She set me up with a very professional doctor and awesome therapist (Rhonda) that I feel very comfortable with and can talk to about anything even comes and do my sessions in my own home .anyways I’ll keep it short just wanted to say their great on what they do they’ve been super helpful. would’ recommend anyone .

What I would like to say about this establishment his number one they got back to me and a Manor that most wouldnt same night I called them 20 minutes later I had appointments and I had New Direction in my life as well as my when I had my appointment most places would have had you feel a lot of paperwork I filled out a couple forms and I got to talk to my therapist and Suboxone maintenance so I give this establishment 5 stars and we will continue to do good work together as well as I talked to some of the staff and they didnt act like they were too busy for me this is a very places to be at and I recommend this to everyone hey babe can call a lot of facets of things and I really appreciate that so thank you now guitar clinic for being a part of my life now and I look forward to my appointments

Took me a while to find wht to say. Elaina took me in because she had a cancellation and my doc referred me for a traumatic happening. She made me feel so comfortable and heard. I needed to meet someone like her who can help process things. While I was in the waiting room I saw two other therapists who both seemed cheerful and asked if I was all set. I decided to post this after reading the negative reviews which look fake. I love this place. I always take reviews as is, a competitor or someone who doesn’t like yo from Grade school could Easily hirt a business out of spite. These clinicians are top notch. Go see Elaina And see for yourselfAnd they got me an emergency medication appointment because od my situation.Ty ❤️

I was looking for a new APRN to assist with medication management (a prior APRN never returned phone calls and medication had run out), and submitted a contact request via the web. I received a callback within an hour or so, and was able to get a tele-med appointment for the next morning. It was so refreshing to have a team respond to internet contacts, and to get back to me so quickly that it almost caught me off-guard. The call with Ms. Stewart went off perfectly. I am so appreciative of the attentive and extremely helpful nature of the team, and could recommend them to anyone needing assistance. Thank you all so much!

If you are looking for a warm compassionate counseling center . Give them a call, They are conventitly located they worked around my crazy schedule and got me in quickly. my counselor was amazing, she listened to me and made me feel comfortable. Even after just a few months they have helped me so much. I look foward to my weekly appt.

Compassionate group of people...accommodated me quickly and with a great choice of clinicians...Anyone can take your copays ...but not every place is as professional and caring !!

I don’t feel like the counselor really cared about what I was saying. She only spoke with me 20 minutes and rushed me off the phone. Awkward silences and didn’t try to get to know me. The whole experience felt forced and unnatural. I won’t return.

They will say they care about your child and want to help but they don’t. You’ll get an appointment then get stood up. A total waste of time and horrible thing to do to someone especially a child who has been through a lot already. I’m one disgusted parent. I also don’t think the 5 star reviews are real.
