Fished with Ben on the last day for Kings on the Deshka. Usually go with another guide but they were on vacation. We had 3 keeper Kings in less than an hour which doesnt always happen. Ben was Awesome and Professional! All around great guy and fun to fish with. We will be back next year.

Ben is an excellent guide. Lots of knowledge & very helpful.We all caught King Salmon. Unfortunately it we had to release them but Ben made sure we got good pictures & let us release them back ourselves. We saw a handful of Bald Eagles, a moose and her calf swim right across the river in front of us.We had an absolute Blast. Would highly recommend.

Ben Allen was an awesome fishing guide! He really knows what hes doing, he is very friendly and helpful. We caught our limit on King Salmon before 9:00. We had a bad experience with a guide with Deshka fishing charters. HIGHLY recommend this company instead!

I would highly recommend this company if you are considering a fishing trip near Anchorage! Ben was an awesome and knowledgeable guide who knows exactly where the best spots are to find fish. We had a great time and it was the perfect way to wrap up our Alaska trip.

There are things you cant predict such as the weather or how many fish are in the river. But the things you can control, who you use on the river makes a world of difference. Bens boat is very comfortable and stable. He uses top notch gear. He even had some rods he custom built for us to use. We had a wonderful day on the river with Ben. Out of four anglers on Bens boat we caught two kings and one jack. Everyone had their chances but not all connected. Ben worked hard to put us in the right spot using a variety of gear and different holes on the river. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Fishing with Ben Allen was the perfect Alaska fishing adventure! He was very professional and proactive and had us on fish all day. We caught over 100 salmon and had to take breaks because of tired arms, shoulders and backs. Ben was always ready with a net and a smile. I highly recommend this guide service.

We did not book a fishing excursion with Mr. and Mrs. Allen, but rather had them process and pack some Salmon and Halibut for us in preparation for our return trip home.In short Amber was extremely accommodating in dealing with our schedule, even a late night drop-off after a return trip from Halibut fishing in Whittier was no issue.If Ambers customer service is any indication of their guided fishing trips I have to believe that it would be a great experience as well. Im not an expert on vacuum packing, but the packaging materials and vacuum seal looked great and I dont anticipate any issues with storage and the price point was excellent.Thank you Amber for your flexibility and great communication during our trip and should we find ourselves in the areas again well certainly bring our catch to you and will likely book a fishing trip.

I had a great trip with Ben for King salmon. I was nervous bringing my mother and little sister because they dont fish, but Ben was extremely nice, helpful, and patient, showing them everything they needed to know. He was upbeat, courteous, and had a great positive attitude all day on the water. Ive done several different guide services in the past, but in the future will fish with Millers Riverboat service.

I went fishing with Ben this week on my vacation and he was awesome! He took us to several spots and set us up for the best chances of catching kings. Hes a great guide! Ill definitely fish with him in the future.

Ben was awesome! Every person on the boat caught their King Salmon! Nicest boat on the river! Highly recommended! Stayed at their B&B as well. Great place! They go above and beyond in every aspect! Amber is a great cook!!

Thx for the great day! Ben and Amber are awesome!!! They really know there stuff. Within our first cast we had a chum salmon on the line. Between the 3 of us we caught almost 40ish fish ranging from chum, steel, pink, oops and even a king by accident. Took home about 40 lbs. Was a perfect day.Just them them in the beginning weather you want specific fish, or lots of fish... either way they will get you going.

I would preface this review by saying I have the perspective of someone who has fished this area for 18 years. I have run boats on these rivers and can tell when someone knows what they are doing. Ben Allen at Millers Riverboat Service knows what he is doing. To start the day off we had a full boat and the water was low in the river but Ben navigated the river beautifully and the trip to the Deshka was smooth. We saw wildlife including 2 seperate moose crossings and a few eagles. We arrived up river and instantly we were on the fish, ill admit I even learned a few tricks I didnt already know. Everyone in the boat caught fish. He had all the appropriate equipment and skill required to do his job well. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking to have a fantastic fishing experience.
