I went into Murphys after Midas stripped my oil pan plug and I needed it removed as I didnt have the tools to do it myself (aka, a lift). 10 minutes, its out, new plug is in, and Im able to finish the oil change and get back on the road.Really reasonable price, better than I was expecting, good people. While I repair most things on my vehicles, should I need something done, I will come back to Murphys.Thanks for the good work!Josh

They did some great work swapping over the tires for the oncoming winter weather. Of course I misinterpreted what studded tires actually looked like and imagined some huge spikes, but thats just my bad. That should be an option though...😉

They have worked on several of my vehicles in the past, and always had reasonable rates. The made sure that we were taken care of as soon as possible and most times got us back on the road ahead of schedule. They are honest up front and always try make the work affordable. My latest bill is $840 while the other companies want to charge almost twice that. Thank you Murphys Auto.

After my grandma threw money away at other places just trying to fix the same problem in her car. We brought it here, and not only did they get the car in soon! But fixed it first try! Great service at Murphys. They replaced the radiator on my dodge and did a excellent job. Highly recommend them.

It’s the only place to go in town if you need your car worked on. They are thorough in their work and clean. There are no dogs allowed in the waiting room however, so you’ll be waiting outside with your furry friends or just leaving them at home that day.

Came to Murphy’s auto to have them look at gas smell in my car. He said it was the fuel pressure regulator and had me in and out in one day. No stress service! I would recommend to a friend.

Someone you can trust

Dropped off my car expecting to have a valve stem replaced in a low tire that wouldnt take air. They had the car jacked up and the tire off as I left. When I came back to pick up the car, turns out there was probably ice in the valve stem and there was nothing wrong with it and the tire aired up just fine (in their warm garage) and held air just fine. They didnt charge me anything...not even for the labor of taking the tire off/on. Super honest. Theyll get future business from me for sure.

They repaired a hole in my flat tire, Knowing it wasnt going to hold, just long enough to take my money and for me to leave the parking lot. my tire went flat again 2 Days Later. I called back hoping they would be willing to do something, anything, try to repair it again or at least discount changing my tires over to my other set, something, anything that a reputable business would likely do, but nope. nothing. They had my money and dont care anymore. Not their problem. Terrible customer service and incompetent workmanship! Would not recommend

We have used Murphys Auto Care Center for several years. I have always been very happy with their service and their rates. Not only are they quick, communicative, friendly but their estimates have always been close to what they end up charging us. I respect the fact that they ask us if wed like x,y or z and give us the price instead of just finding something that needs done and charging us.

Quick and thorough repair and Mike didn’t overcharge or scam me like other places here in Wasilla. Haven’t had any issues with any of the repairs 6 months later. You can trust this guy.

Murphys is a great place to get work done. Murphy and his staff are all very friendly and helpful, and will listen to your issues. They work hard and try to get everything done in a timely manner.

Not happy. My truck needed an intake gasket 3 years ago to Murphys. This winter my truck threw a code so I took it into Murphys again. They said it needed another intake gasket. They said I do a lot of these but never on the same vehicle. The work was done with no idea why it failed. So I have to think they installed faulty parts. The first job cost me $730 and change. Three years later $1100 and change. I questioned them about the increases and received no explanation. I am not happy!

Ive had nothing but good luck with them. One car that I simply had detailed there came back with a dent removed as well. Another car of mine had a somewhat chronic issue with snapping and popping in the transfer case splines. They took it apart enough to look at it and quote a repair. ...Meanwhile.. it has never exhibited the problem again since that day. On top of that they have done strut replacement, brake work, and many tire swaps, tire repairs and oil changes for me.

They did our car great an did it quickley

I dropped my vehicle off to get some brakes done and it took 3 days for me to get my car back, without an appointment. The staff in the front was able to get me in as soon as possible, but they were booked up for a while. I had to go without my vehicle for a few days, but in the end it was great work.

Had Murphys do a bulletproof EGR cooler, ARP studs, and clean the oil cooler on my 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel and they did a great job. Had a small issue, but after a phone call from the owner all was worked out. Great place to get work done and great ownership!

Had a remote starter installed on my wifes car for christmas, it works great and she loves it. will be back

On July 12 I took my truck to Murphys for a power steering problem, and oil change. After component replacement and testingI got my truck back on July 19, with the caveat that there was no power steering at low rpms (under 2000) I took the truck home, got on the internet and searched for a solution, which was, air in the system needed to be purged, and a solution Turn the engine on, rev it until you have power steering, and turn the steering wheel lock to lock twenty times. I did this and the steering was noticeably better, so, I repeated until now I have near normal power steering. My question is, why doesnt a master mechanic know this? You decide.
