Ive been a patient at Gillespie Dentistry for 25 years and cant say enough good things about the care Ive received over the years! Without exception every experience has been not just positive, but oddly enough actually enjoyable, which after dreading dental visits for so many years in the past has been surprising and refreshing. I was born with a hemangioma that dramatically affected the development of the lower right half of my teeth, so let’s just say I am not a stranger to dental offices and have been in them a lot my whole life. Today Dr Emily helped me take care of a tooth extraction I needed and have wanted for years, but have been too scared to ask about/make happen. She was so reassuring, so kind and she made the whole process so easy. I live about 45 minutes away but will always make the drive to this office because there’s no way I’m giving up this office! Everyone is amazing, Leo who did my cleaning today was wonderful and Dr. Brad has been incredible as well. I deeply appreciate the care this team takes, it makes all the difference. From the front desk to the patient rooms everyone is happy, helpful and kind.

Dr’s Brad, Greg and Dennis Gillespie have the finest dental office in the Portland metro and Vancouver metro area. Their combined expertise allows their services to included just about every procedure that comes your way. I have been a patient for over 20 years and have always trusted that my oral health was in the best hands around. I have had the following list of procedures at their office without any complaints. They include: Cosmetic veneers, teeth cleaning and whitening, root canals, implants, crowns and white fillings.The environment in their office is very unique. Their dental instruments are always top of the line and cutting edge. The service from assistants and hygienist always make me feel welcome and very comfortable with every visit. Lastly, I believe it’s important to know that not every “white coat Dentist” around town is skilled, well educated and experienced. I had a great time at Gillespie. They have you fill out all your new patient forms online or on your mobile device. Very simple and efficient.I went into my appointment 5 minutes early and was seen almost immediately. My hygienist was fantastic, and Dr. Greg was just as great. Highly recommend going to Gillespie for your dental work and oral hygiene care. I plan on going back in the future for a sleep device.

On top of that, they really know what theyre doing. The hygienists know their stuff and took the time to teach me a few things. I have been coming to Gillespie Dentistry since I was in high school. I am now in my fifties. They did a great job with my mouth when I was going through cancer! The doctors are now sons of the dentists that I saw. All I can say is I would never want to go anywhere else. Coming in for my teeth cleanings on a regular basis is always like coming home to friends and family. I feel cared for in so many ways. My kids have tried other dentists because they have moved away or had different insurance, and the one son who lives in California is on his fourth try at finding a dentist like Gillespie Dentistry. I am so happy with the work done. I needed some old veneers replaced and Dr Greg took the time to understand what I wanted and then created a mock up of what that could look like. He also explained all of the steps involved so I knew what to expect. I am normally very anxious about dental work and Dr Greg and the team gave me a number of options to choose from and so I went with sedation and was really glad I did. The final result is fabulous, a natural smile that is really comfortable.

Gillespie Dentistry is by far the best practice I have ever received care from, ever! The staff is incredibly friendly and kind and the office is beautiful and clean. Dr. Greg Gillespie is gifted in his skills as he created the most amazing and new smile for me! Dental Hygenist Lindsey is exceptional in every way. I have very sensitive teeth, she is always gentle, caring and thorough. She leaves no plaque behind! I have been seen by at least two of the dentists and each one has made me feel comfortable. All employees I have intereacted with from Gillespie Dental have been nothing less than professional.

I have seen all three dentists at this office. I generally have an unhealthy fear of dentistry, but these men are all kind and compassionate, asuaging my fears. I have been coming to Gillespie dentistry for over ten years. Theyre a group of excellent dentists. They are honest.

I have been going here for many years. The first time was when I was in my early 20’s with no insurance and I needed my wisdom teeth out. Gillespie dentistry works a lot with the uninsured and was able to work with me to get the work done. It was still very expensive, but it was something I could afford. During that treatment I wasn’t treated like a second class citizen just because I didn’t have insurance and experienced no pain besides the injection in the beginning.Even though Gillespie dentistry is out of network for Tricare, the care has continuously been top notch. I’d rather pay a higher copay here than go anywhere else.

Dr Brad and Teresa have been my go-to dentist for over 15 years and highly recommend! They are friendly and professional- I actually look forward to seeing the dentist!

I just had a routine cleaning performed, but they have friendly staff and they take good precautions with covid. My orthodontist did a great job with my cleaning and I had a positive experience.

Perfect experience. The staff were so kind and positive, and they went above and beyond to help me feel welcome and comfortable. I was impressed that Dr. Dennis was so cautious as he did X-rays and various tests to decide exactly what was wrong, and what needed to be done. He gave me my first root canal and I almost fell asleep, because it was so painless! I highly recommend this dentistry!

I first met Dr Greg & staff about 10 yrs ago when the post in the front tooth crown broke.I knew I was going to need an implant to correct it.Additionally, since the work done on the surrounding teeth was so old I was going to need an update to help them match nicely.I didnt realize just how much work I would need but Dr Greg explained all the options & working with me all the way.Although Ive been to the dentist myriad times in my life Ive never looked forward to going.It may sound corny but after every visit to Dr Gregs office I leave with a smile and a warm fuzzy in my heart.They just make me feel so important and so cared for. Im m so glad I found them!

My father was an orthodontist mother was a hygienist. My first job was working got a periodontist at 15. I have 10 years chair side experience and 5 years front office experience for different specialists and general dentists. Then I changed careersI moved to Vancouver last summer and was referred here by my real estate agent. I knew I had work to do as it had been a few years since I’ve been inI have seen two of the dentists and the hygienist and am very impressed. All staff is cheerful and professional. The doctors have taken time to show me X-ray’s and discuss treatment plans and possible complications. I am confident in the work I have had performed including a root canal and crown, as I have viewed the final X-ray’s and followed along with the procedures.I highly recommend this office.

I took my wife to Gillespie for the first time today. She has dementia and was more than just afraid and did not want to go inside. I called the dentist office from the parking lot and they sent Ldonna out to talk to her. In a short time she was more at peace and went inside. If I could, I would leave 0 stars. Tl;dr Dr. Greg either lied or gave a horrible evaluation recommending $20,000 of work including 6(!) Root Canals when I required only 1, and it all cost $3,000 elsewhere.As a man in my young 20s, I had very little money and ability to get my teeth cared for. Having gone a few years without dental insurance or check ups, and wisdom teeth coming in, I was quite sure I needed my wisdom teeth removed, likely one root canal (as a result of my wisdom tooth not coming in properly and unable to receive dental care,) and quite a few fillings. Of course, I am no professional and wasnt 100% sure of my situation. Wishing to ensure I went to a good dentist to get a correct evaluation, I saved up the nearly 300$ that Gillespie said they needed for an evaluation and x-ray. While there, I was seen by Dr. Greg; whom this review is largely based on. While he was giving me my evaluation, he barely even spoke to me, with seriously 75% of his conversation being about golf with another person there. The little he did speak to me was to show me the poor places of my teeth and quickly kept adding up the number of root canals I would need. I remember the horror I was experiencing as he was so candidly saying how I would need 6 root canals, without batting an eye. He told me that these teeth were bad and had to go, despite little to no pain in at least 4 of them. I was about 22. He said doing a root canal on all of them would be the way to go just insure they dont go bad. I still remember his plain disregard for care or in my opinion, professionalism. I was given a print out for costs and procedures of what Dr. Greg recommended. It was three pages long and would cost around $20,000. I remember crying on the drive home, not knowing how I would be able to afford my future, or be forced to have rotting teeth. Before taking his word as Truth, however, I went and got another exam and evaluation without giving them any of the information Dr. Greg had provided. Their evaluation was 1 root canal, on the tooth that I knew would clearly need one, and fillings for the rest, totaling $3,000. In the 6 years since, I did receive one more root canal, as a result of my continued poor flossing, but that wasnt until 5 years after Dr. Greg so carelessly told me at 22 years of age that I would need 6 root canals at $20,000. Since that day, Ive never been back once, and dont see why I would return.

Although it’s been a couple years, sometime back Gillespie dentistry had a day where they were giving away dental services. Both my girlfriend and I went in and had teeth extracted. Talk about a memorable date! LOL! The staff there at the dentist were consummate professionals, they treated me very well they got in remove the tooth got out quickly and with very little pain. I live in Oregon so I don’t use their services now but would recommend them highly to anyone who needs them

Everyone was very friendly and professional! They were able to get me in very quickly when I had a crown pop off. The facility is beautiful - my chair looked out over a lovely flower bed. After my experience, I quickly scheduled routine visits for our entire family.

I was really impressed with the initial professionalism of the office, as well. My family and I need an office that will provide dentalServices with a 60 or 90 day same-as-cash policy. Not too much to ask for, considering we have always paid our dental bills promptly. After two conversations with different receptionists who assured me that this was the case I made appointments. I arrived an hour early and did paperwork. Unfortunately, this is notThe policy, as they are now “trying” to do same-day-payments. Another word For this is “Concierge Dentistry”. A neat trick, considering a substantial portion of any dental office’s revenue isFrom check-ups, cleaning, and ex-rays. Fortunately, I made an effort to confirm this before the office cleaned my teeth and ran up $500 bucks in ex-rays. Look, I’m very sympathetic to dentists who sometimes don’t get paid for services rendered. Unfortunately, dentists are not sympathetic at all to people in my income bracket who are footing the bill for everyone with out so-called “Cadillac insurance”. Health care providers would do well to figure out that we “Cadillac patients” are NOT WILLING to foot the bill anymoreFor everyone else who pays “zero the hero”. Maybe some of your patients covered by Medicaid can go back to picking up minimal Copays. Looks like a great office, but plan in paying for the services the day you go. Ask before you go to the exam room.

We originally chose this office because of the convenience of the location. But we really lucked out to live so near such a terrific bunch of professionals. Keep up the good work!

My teeth look amazing! My smile used to embarrass me, but not anymore! And not only that, but the dentists, assistants, and staff are all incredible! I worked mostly with Dr. Dennis and he is fantastic! He is very kind, knowledgeable and professional. The assistants are also so sweet and good at what they do. Best dentist! Had an appointment here after neglecting my teeth for 5 years. Dennis walked me through what the appointment would entail and helped to calm my extreme dental anxiety. Janelle immediately put me at ease and got to work on my teeth. I had a lot of built up tartar from skipping cleanings for years, but she worked gently and diligently to remove all of it without causing me pain while distracting me from my fear. By the end of the appointment I had forgotten all about being scared. I actually look forward to my next appointment, and I would never go anywhere else!
