David Buffman of LGS Party Rentals was AWESOME! His crew FABULOUS!I held an outdoor event at Esther Short Park in Vancouver WA on Saturday, 22 May 21. The event lasted about 11/2 hours. I engaged them for delivery-setup-take down. LGS was on time, chairs and poles/drapes in excellent condition. David and his crew stayed on site the entire time. I made some adjustments to the placement of the chairs (100) and the information tables. David AND his crew were courteous, respectful and helpful. I recommend engaging them for any event needs you may have.

LGS Events and Party Rental is top notch! Used them for a VIP Special Event at work. Due to inclement weather we had a lot of last minute changes that they were able to handle with stride. They even made suggestions onsite that made our event that much better. This is a dependable outfit that will take care of you. Total professionals. I will use them again!

I have rented from LGS multiple times for medium and large events such as baby showers, wedding parties, and holiday events. Each time LGS has supplied all my needs to the utmost satisfaction. The items rented are of great quality and the flexible pickup and drop hours allow me time for setup and tear now outside of my normal working hours. The price couldnt be beat!!! Everyone that I dealt with was super awesome and very friendly. I had a small order (10 Hercules chairs) and was able to pick up/drop off at their convenient location, in Vancouver. Amanda was very kind and professional! A great experience all around.

David at LGS is amazing! We recently had a death in the family. When I called I was afraid I was out of luck when my event was only four days away. He was very kind and understanding and made the whole process painless, I would recommend him to anyone. Even in the middle of all this pandemic chaos pick up and drop off was a breeze. And he was more than capable of fulfilling our needs, even at the last minute.

The owner needs to work on his customer service.Went with my father to pick up chairs and tables, our trailer was not clean enough for the chairs. That part I understand, however he gave us an attitude and very very rudely said “you can’t take my chairs in that dirty trailer”That whole experience was awful from there on.

LGS was by far the least expensive option that we found and had the absolute best customer service! Our order took less than 5 minutes to complete and everything was perfect. Everytime we called with question they picked up immediately, never even had to leave a voicemail. Easy to text too!

Zero stars if I couldMy main issue the owners attitude. Not what I paid. He has awful customer service skills. Prehaps he was having a bad day but we dealt with him on multiple occasions and thats pretty much the service you will get each time.Theres other issues with this company too but if he could work on his customer service skills first that would be great to start out with.He charges $50 for cleaningI returned his used old chairs with some light mudso I didnt expect my $50 deposit back. I figured that would cover cleaning. I rented 50 chairs and 8 tables, figured that would be enough for cleaning.However if you notice on my reciept he added and additional $85 dollars for ONE old broken “dirty” chair.His garden chairs are not new, according to him they are 7 years old. To me that is very used.Im not sure at what point a chair broke but it was simply the back part and not one of the legs. Which im sure he will fix in 5 min and put if out for rent again.He offered me to clean them for some money back and offered to give me ONE “broken chair”However at this point if he has to overcharge his customers then he can keep my money because he probably needs it more than I do.Overall I understand he needs to make money some how and the money part is whatever at this point but working on his attitude would be great for his company. I called for a brief explanation of the extra charges and he was defensive and did not let me speak.It would be great for the owner to reply and address the issue on how disrespectful he was to me and my family.We paid him $135 for cleaning and a “broken” old chair so that issue is taken care of and there is no need to explain your charges now because we understand that you thought the chairs were too dirty. And thats okay we paid you what you wanted $135.Sometimes its not what you pay its literally the customer service that you get and the man that runs this place needs to work on that.The reason he doesnt want me as a customer is not because his old chairs were dirty. If that was the case he would have said that the moment his old chairs were returned. But he is well aware that thats not the case.He does not want me as a customer becauseI asked him for an explanation of the charges and because I told him to work on his customer service since he was very rude on multiple occasions. I gave him my honest opinion and of working with me he became even more defensive.Tip for othersAvoid dealing with this type of service.There is plenty other rental companies.If you have no choice , fully inspect each chair, take photos. They are 7 years old already if he rents them each weekened thats about 52wks x 7 yrs = used about 364 times 🤢So you can imagine the condition they are in already. Theyre okay and have scratches and but he will make you responsible for those imperfections.Ps: Theyre ratings on the wedding wire site are more accurate. Posted a photo of that

This place is amazing to work with! We needed chairs last minute for my daughters birthday party and they were able to accommodate our request. We have used them multiple times in the past and have been great each time. No need to look any further when you have them to work with!!

From my understanding.... This is a business that they started after their 1st daughter got married and they saw how expensive it was to have a nice wedding. They wanted to make it more affordable for couples just starting out in life, without breaking their bank. From talking with David multiple times I learned he has a full time job but took this on to be able to give back to our community. He was extremely helpful to me and offered tons of ideas/places to help with the other planning details of my wedding like flowers and bakeries. They even turned me against spending more money with them because I thought I wanted side walls for the tent I was renting.....in August! They said it would be too hot with no air flow. They were so right and we saved even more money with the decision we made to go with them.When David and his two assistant’s came to deliver and set up our tent I was very impressed with the teamwork and respect they all gave to each other and to us. And again, I was giving disaster saving recommendations from David because of the experience that he has. He handed me his cell phone while he assembled the framework, to look at pictures of his 2nd daughters wedding they had just completed the month before. Very proud family for sure! In the beginning of the rental planning I had shared information with him regarding my Mother’s health. Having never spoken to Kim ( his wife) before, in our first conversation she said to me that she was sorry to hear about my mother and would pray for her. Who does that these days? I had never met these people before, they didn’t know me, but they came highly recommended by multiple families and for that I am so thankful.I think people who are planning large events are under a lot of stress to begin with and maybe sometimes their frustrations can be easily miss placed. I will be forever grateful for their above and beyond service.

Bonus daughter #1 got married in summer 2018 and I found LGS events and was really impressed by all they offered. Summer 2020 bonus daughter #2 has to cancel her large wedding and decided on a family-only beach wedding at the last minute. I contacted LGS to rent two chairs for the bride and groom only and they had the chairs ready the SAME DAY. My bonus son is getting married next year sometime - the rentals choice will be easy.

My husband and I had just got married and we rented chairs, tables and tents from LGS Events. They did a great job setting up earlier than the actual wedding so I was able to set up all my decorations. David and his employee were very friendly and listened to what we wanted as far as where to set up the tent. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family! Good job guys!

LGS is great! I have been renting from them for the past few years. No hassle and a great inventory. Pick up and drop off has been very convenient. Its so nice to stay in Vancouver and not to fight Portland traffic! They are flexible are super fast to respond. Thanks for making it so easy!

These guys are the best! Very helpful and the prices are great! At the last minute I decided I would not be able to use one of the tables I had rented due to the size being larger than I had expected, instead they were very accommodating and gave me table cloths for the other tables to make it work out for me. I also was not able to find somebody to go with me to pick the items up and we’re very helpful in helping me. Very nice!! I definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

Great customer service! Amanda was quick to answer my calls and patient with me as I changed my order 3 or 4 times. All the equipment we rented was in great condition and the delivery and pick up process prompt and easy. I also picked up some of my order from their location and was happy with how clearly my items were labeled and how quick it was to grab them and go on the day of my event. I will definitely use the again!

My husband and I were very impressed with the service we got from LGS Events. We planned a wedding in 8 days and the business was able to not only accommodate our date but went over and beyond on drop off/ pick up times. LGS Events has been amazing! I was in need of 10 chairs for a dinner party and they quickly got me loaded up and ready to go. Dont hesitate to give them a call, they will provide excellent customer service and get you setup right away.

I place an order 3 months in advance never received a response so I decided to go and pay in person for the items. Someone told me by the ring bell that I had to make an appointment and come back another day. There was a lady who told me that she checked my order and sent an email she didn’t even looked in the books or anything I went home and checked my spam and anything was there she was just trying to get rid off me so she could leave.

I called with very short notice and Amanda was great. She was very attentive, promptly took care of our needs, and was timely with her follow up. Will definitely use LGS Events for future party and event needs. Thank you.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Good luck getting them to call you back or respond promptly. Tried to reserve chairs and tables for an upcoming wedding, got a reservation number and was told theyd be in touch for payment, but nothing after that. My fiance tried her luck reserving the same items two weeks later and was told they were sold out. Thinking my request may still be in their system I called and finally got through, only to be told they couldnt find my original request. I read their email back to them and was then told theyd sent me an email saying they were sold out. We called another place and were immediately helped with our needs.I typically dont leave negative reviews, but based on other reviews of LGS Events describing the same experience, I feel this one is justified. Dont waste your time. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I occasionally only need about 10 to 20 chairs for family dinners. They accommodate me every time. Their willingness to load them into my vehicle and the service on short notice has helped me out several times.

I had our wedding on June 23rd 2018. Just a few weeks ago and at first when researching event rental places i was skeptical on going with LGS because of previous reviews. But David the owner was great to work with and talk to. They’re tables and chairs were great and I have nothing negative to say about their products.I picked up and returned everything we rented (i have access to a box van). So i didnt have to spend extra money for delivery and pickup.This is a family owned business and they are super busy and i can understand trying to keep in touch with customers and returning calls and emails quickly can be tough when days get crazy. But he will definitely make sure his customers are happy and get what they need. He actually gave us a few composite half wine barrels to use for drinks, for free!! So nice of him.Please support this great family owned and run business.

I was googling to rent chairs for a last minute party for my daughter and I called this company and talked to the owner and told him my story and he was very understanding and thoughtful and was very helpful with everything! Definitely the nicest experience I’ve had with anything like this and I am so grateful for this company and the party would not have been the same without them . I will be definitely be using them from here and forward for all my events and will be spreading the word to all my friends and family :)

Worst rental company I have ever dealt with. Every other rental company I have used had someone available on site. This is in someones private residence, they just had stacks of what we rented laying out that I had to load by myself. The agreement threatens a $100 fee for cleaning and damages (including leaving tape or foot prints). I received one very bent table and all of them had tape on them. When I returned the tables I was compelled to clean up the mess from the previous renters so I would not risk getting charged $100.Edit, Response to owner... please do not focus on the private residence comment, that is not an issue. Everything else was the issue.Poor Service: Instructions sent out after ordering/paying stating that no one would be there does not absolve a business from negative opinions about the policy.Dirty Tables: I doubt your cameras can be used to tell if tape was left on the bottom of a table, and why were they not cleaned before sending them to a new customer?Bent Table: Since no one was on site and I needed to complete my task I chose to deal with the messed up table, I did not have time to call and hope someone could show up and replace it for me. It was obviously bent and anyone setting it out to be sent to a customer would have seen it. It was poor judgment to set it out for some to take and needs to be removed from inventory.

I am a return customer and each time they have been very accommodating and have even gone above and beyond. Great experience doing business with them on a professional level and our events have turned out perfectly. I know where to go for all of our party needs. Thank you LGS Events.

I will not be using this company for my wedding. I planned on using LGS for my table and chair rentals but I have had such a horrible experience just trying to reserve and pay for them! I called on Monday and was told by a man that I just need to go online and reserve what I want and then I would get an email confirmation with invoice to make a payment. Not until Wednesday afternoon did I get an email asking me to confirm what I wanted which I responded to right away and I did not get an invoice until Thursday evening at 8pm. So this morning I called 3 different numbers and I got no answer. Finally Kim answered my call at 10:30AM and said she wasnt in the office and to call back in an hour. That was a little frustrating. So I waited longer than an hour, about 3 hours and I called back and no answer from all 3 numbers again. Called again and Kim answered and told me AGAIN she wasnt in the office and wouldnt be in the office until after 4 and to call back then. ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is supposed to be a business that is providing a service and I should not have to jump through hoops just to make a payment for my service. This is absolutely ridiculous. No apologies from them for not being in a spot to take a payment, at least apologize and offer to call back as soon as possible. I will use a different company. Absolutely a joke. SO RUDE!

Used Lgs for our wedding tables and chairs. Business is out of a family home. Love supporting local small business. Communication was spotty at times, however ultimately I would use them again. Affordable prices. Be prepared to reserve early to guarantee getting what you want.

After a bit of miscommunication between a woman who worked at the company and myself, David called to reassure me that everything would be ok for our event. He has been totally accommodating and has helped to meet the needs we had and so far, has exceeded them with excellence. We have many events in the future and will be sure to use this company to meet our needs.

I used LGS Events for our annual Goddard School BBQ. Kim was very responsive in answering my questions, making suggestions on items which would better serve our group of 200+ guests, and securing the items. David was punctual with delivery of the items and showing me how to use the large BBQ grill. Everything -- chairs, tables, ice box table, bbq, warmers, were clean and in excellent condition. I wish Id found LGS years earlier for past events!

This is definitely the worst customer experience I had, I rented some chairs for Christmas and when we went to picked them up nobody was there, all we heard was a man talking on the speaker saying to grab the chairs left outside and to pay in cash under the mat also he said you better bring them back in a very rude tone, only took the chairs because i really needed the chairs at that time and everything was closed, I really hope the owner of this place does something to improve their horrible customer service if they want to stay in business.

The Best party rental company in the North West Pacific

I had emailed them about a package deal for my wedding. They emailed me back telling me theyve been booked out 2 weeks for that weekend. But when my fiance called they told him they have it opened. Very unprofessional. Tried to get a invoice from them earlier this week, no one has gotten back to me since about payment options. So going with a better company.

I have rented before and called again to rent, he said to call in the morning and fill out what I need online I did that called all morning and afternoon, No answer left messages and nothing. He stood me up and I needed those. Thanks, taking my money somewhere else.Edited reply to comment: So you can reply to my review but you couldnt at least call back and tell me sorry we had you wait and were busy instead of telling me you can get the request in and ignore my phone calls and messages.

The staff “Kim” was a total snag on the phone! She demanded a credit card over the phone before our pickup. I told her I was going into a meeting and would call her in an hour - then cancelled our order and hung up the phone!I’m not sure why she’s working in customer service but she should be stocking shelves in the back. Do not use this company!
