This is absolutely the best hearing aid service you’ll find in Vancouver. I left so amazed by their wonderful service and their attitude toward my 88 year old dad who is a Korean War veteran. Chris Lawson is truly here to watch out for the community. He is extremely knowledgeable about hearing and takes the time to explain the results of your hearing exam in detail. He is patient and accepts all clients (young, elderly, veterans, etc). He will be my audiologist going forward and I recommend everyone go in for a baseline.I went in because of some hearing loss (presumably from motorcycle riding) and now I have a baseline to monitor going forward.

Dr. Chris Lawson is the best. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, generous, and intuitive. If youre a veteran - or trying to help a veteran - this is definitely the place to go for any hearing/audiology needs or concerns - but its also definitely the place even if youre not a veteran! I was made aware of Evergreen Audiology Clinic, McGillivray Blvd. by a friend who had had her hearing checked there and subsequently was fitted for hearing aids. She raved about every conceivable feature, from the quality of service provided by the audiologist, Dr. Chris, to the help she received from the office staff. At first I thought her experience may have been unique. It definitely was not.My own visit confirmed everything my friend had said. Im at an age where doctors, all medical practitioners, are a part of my life. This audiologist, is the most professional, informed, gifted, approachable man Ive met. He is simply superb. And his office staff is the same. Should you need their services, you will become a believer, too.

Evergreen audiology is the best experience I’ve ever had. I called around to every other place in locally for hearing aide repair and they were by far the cheapest. Their service is also out of this world. The doctor and staff are unbelievably kind, generous, and thoughtful. I did not buy my hearing aids around here and when one quit working i searched and found Evergreen. Saw the 5.0 rating and couldn’t believe it for 70 ratings. So i called, they said to stop by. Went in, handed over my hearing aid and they fixed it by replacing the receiver tube which they found broken. It only took them a few minutes and they didn’t charge me. Now i understand their perfect rating. CONGRATS Evergreen!!!

Just moved here 3 months ago. I needed a place to get my existing hearing aides serviced. Dr. Chris Lawson was really helpful! He improved the setup of my hearing aides to be better than it was from the clinic where I bought them. I was very pleased with the level of service and expertise here.

Excellent, experienced audiology team. Purchased my hearing aids one year ago. After a face mask fiasco losing one hearing aid, Chris and his team responded quickly to my urgent request. Heading out of town for a vacation, the same morning Chris fit me for a temporary aid and ordered a new one under warranty. I could not ask for a business and people to be more responsive and caring. Yes, stellar service but it is the thoughtful, caring team that makes this audiology group outstanding. I have multiple hearing issues with hearing aid & cochlear involved. I spend 90 minutes with DR. Chris Lawson, appears to be a well qualified and dedicated hearing specialist. He listened, asked questions, tested my hearing & made adjustments in my current HA w/o trying to sell me anything. I will return for his assistance with my HA w/o question. I am very comfortable recommending him to friends, etc. I have been dealing with various audiologists for the past 17 years so have lots of comparisons.

I am middle-aged with a nerve deafness that is genetic. I have been wearing hearing aids for a long time, and I need high-powered aids with as much technology to help me through work days, meetings, calls, etc. I had a great audiologist in Portland, but the drive was a pain, so I was looking for someone closer. Lucky for me, Evergreen is right down the street and had some good reviews, so I went in for a cleaning and consultation. I could tell that Jeff was going to be a great match for me because hes super into technology while understanding how to match the hearing loss with it. Im due for new aids now, and Im happy I found Evergreen and this team.

Knowing that I had at least some hearing loss I wanted to establish a baseline of where my hearing is currently at and what I can do to protect it. Chris spent quite a bit of time getting to know me and having a conversation about my hearing, how hearing loss happens, and what I can do to preserve it. He did all of this as a free service (much to my shock). I would absolutely recommend him for anyone who cares about their hearing. I will be going back for all my future hearing needs.

Very courteous and accommodating staff. I needed extra help with the chargeable hearing aids I had purchased and they were very kind in explaining the instructions. I eventually asked to return the hearing aids for the battery operated ones and they were happy to exchange them for me.

I have moderate/severe hearing loss, especially in the lower audio range.Dr. Lawson has been my audiologist for over a year now.My first impression of him is still the same: Seeks first to understand your needs, Respect, just like the song from 1967, Understanding, gives you the time/support to experience the changes being made to your hearing, Honest, I have experienced that his First and Only concern is to provide the best/appropriate hearing devices that will meet your needs. His prices were much better than the Doctors offices where I purchased previous hearing aids. And I got the top of the line hearing aids on top of that.Loosing my hearing has been a challenging, life changing experience. Dr. Lawson has been a valuable partner in this process. Recently I attended a piano concert and it felt like is was back in my 20s, clear, easily understood sound.Hearing aids are probably the 3rd most expensive purchase you will make in your life. How much research did you do when you bought your home or car? Dr. Lawson will be an honest and accurate provider of information that one could ask for. He is attentive to details and works with his patients.Purchasing and using hearing aids is NOT a Passive experience. It takes time and energy to be willing to accept the fact that one needs them, time and energy to research your options of Audiologists, (there are many good hearing devices on the market but your satisfaction will come from the person helping you get them adjusted to you) and then deciding how much you are willing/able to spend on hearing aids.Once you purchase them, there is an adjustment period. I heard things the first few hours, days and weeks that I hadnt heard in years. Making return appointments for adjustments is the only way you can get them adjusted? to meet your unique and personal needs. Look at it this way, you are purchasing a machine that will be talking to the nerves in your ears, that are connected to your brain. If this system has not been working for a while, It will take a while to get this system up and running. Please, hearing aids are incredibly more useful than they were 17 years ago when I got my first set. Each year they increase in ability to make your hearing experience more natural. But as I said earlier, this process involves your participation: What am I hearing? Is it too loud, are particular voices harder to hear that other, are there problematic letters/word pairs I cannot understand or hear. This is essential information your Audiologist needs to make meaningful adjustments to your hearing devices and that will allow you to hear better.The reason I wrote this review is that I am pumped when I observe folks with hearing aids flourishing. I get angry when I hear about hearing care providers who either dont know what they are doing, dont care or are overcharging for their services. There needs to be a deep respect between care provider and patient. If that is not happening, find someone who can provide it! There is nothing worse than getting a really great price without adequate support or human connection.My hearing aids have lasted about 6 years each. I keep them in a hearing aid box which keeps them warm, away from humidity, the enemy of microprocessors. If you divide the number of days you will reasonably use the devices by the price, you will have a better idea of the cost and benefit these devices will provide. Dont you do the same when you are figuring the cost of a prescription? What does it cost on a daily basis to take this medication?I think Ive said all I need to.Dr. Lawson has provided me RESPECT, excellent care, reasonable prices, quick and competent service. Can I ask for anything more? I think not.

My first visit to Dr Lawson. He immediately focused on helping me with how to apply for VA benefits, confirming with a hearing test that I would qualify. He had a prepared handout with contact information for the VA office in Portland, including a picture of the building.He explained that with tinnitus there are no herbal remedies or quick fixes available, and that I should not waste time or money trying any of the products that are currently on the market.My appointment lasted 30 minutes or more without charge.If I am able to work with Dr Lawson for my hearing needs in the future, I will gladly do so.Dallas Day

Evergreen audiology did a wonderful job of testing my hearing and dispensing my hearing aids. He set them to new user at first so the sounds wouldnt be too loud by comparison to what I was used to. Once I got used to them after 3 months, he adjusted them to experienced user and everything was perfect. He cleans and adjusts the hearing aids at no charge. When my hearing changed after 2 years, there was no charge for a new hearing test and an adjustment. It made my tinnitus better. I LOVE the Resound hearing aids. I highly recommend Evergreen Audiology.

You deserve the best!As a life-long hearing aid wearer and an experienced patient, I was thrilled to find out that Dr. Chris Lawson opened his own practice! It is very rare to find an audiologist who is kind, humble, easy to work with, is logical with problem solving, is very knowledgeable with the scientific and medical side of a hearing loss and up to date with the technological options. Most of all, Chris cares. He cares about his patients. He cares about his profession.Hearing aid fittings depend on the skill of the doctor. Chris has that magic touch because he can translate what Im experiencing and adjusts the technology accordingly (the hearing aid program).Dont be fooled by the hearing aid dispensers around town. You get what you pay for--which can be a very expensive useless piece of equipment that leaves you saying, what? (fitted by someone who has the fraction of the training audiologists go through).Chris has a staff person dedicated to helping patients set up their assistive technology (ex. Your cell phone). Do you understand how rare that is? Most audiologists dont care and dont educate patients on how to use their hearing aids. The way Chris structured his business and delegated tasks is so smart and a reflection of his intelligence and dedication to his business.My family goes to Chris now. I wont let them go to anyone else!
