The owners are amazing!! They made the check in and close out easy and smooth. Sometimes both can be so nerve wracking but it wasnt at all. They are very personable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again myself

If you’re in need of a great, affordable, clean storage unit/location... I highly recommend Iron Gate Storage in Vancouver, WA! I need to leave a review because they were the first to show up in my search engine for near by storage units and now I know why! As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted so kindly by Beatrice and Renzo, the resident managers, they helped me through the whole process and within minutes I had my unit! I would recommend this place to any friend/family member of mine!

This is - I think, the newest Iron Gate facility in Vancouver. (There are at least 2 other locations, listing as Cascade Park, and Downtown.) The managers live on site, and are competent, efficient, friendly, and helpful.The 10x20 locker we rented was spotless, and drive-up accessible. Supply your own lock (available for purchase in the office, along with a selection of packing materials, boxes, and moving blankets).Most, if not all, units are drive-up. They also have various sizes of graveled parking for RVs, etc.Pricing appears to be competitive, at least among the limited searches we did.The Cascade Park location appeared to be similar. The Downtown location has some interior/heated lockers, and some much larger, e.g. drive-in RV storage.See their Web site for locations, availability, sizes, etc.They are also a rental site for Penske trucks / vans of various sizes. Getting the size you want, when you want it, is...problematic, especially in smaller sizes. Reservations are necessary; the more advance your request, the better your chances are. Ymmv, etc, etc...When reserving a truck you are quite likely to end up dealing with the national Penske office. Either way, you may have to pick up - and return - the truck from a different site. In our case, the first truck came from the Downtown site, the second from Cascade Park. Not a huge problem for us, but certainly not as convenient as Orchards would have been.On the plus side the 2 trucks we rented were in excellent condition. The first had only 12k miles on it, and except for minor exterior faux pas, (not everyone can, or should try to, drive a truck), looked and drove like theyd just come off the dealers lot.Overall, highly recommended.

Im so glad I stopped in to Iron Gate storage in my search for a storage unit near my home. Renzo and Beatrice could not have been more helpful. They were able to quickly confirm the size I needed and show me the unit and fill out the necessary paperwork quickly. They were very clear and thorough explaining the necessary details. I would recommend iron gate storage to anyone who needs storage in the area.

Beatrice at Iron Gate Storage went out of her way to help me in every possible way; touring units, recommending a unit that would adequately fit all of my belongings for half the price compared to the one I had chosen, and she is genuinely one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I never thought I’d be able to honestly say this, but my experience with Beatrice and her lovely husband Renzo at Iron Gate was hands-down the best customer service experience I have ever had. These people will take care of you in every way they can to make sure you’re 100% satisfied and won’t think twice about going above and beyond to make you happy. They’re not just running a business for money; they’re providing a service with customer care at the center of it.The place itself is incredibly secure. A unique access code is given to you when renting a unit, and only you will possess a copy of the key to it. In addition to the code, the facility is monitored by 24/7 video surveillance. Not only that, Beatrice and Renzo live on site above the office to provide overnight security. When my car was broken into at the end of April and my belongings stolen, including storage documents that displayed my access code and unit number, they were happy to scramble my code and put an extra lock on my unit until I have the opportunity to visit the facility. This business excels in customer service. Their contract is easy to read with important terms highlighted. Renzo & Beatrice Orru are managers. Mr. Orru went over everything while training Edwin on the job. All friendly & professional. Iron Gate has several locations. If you give then notice & leave by the 10th, they prorate the last month.

It is rare to find the level of customer service that Beatrice and Renzo exemplify. My wife and I had two units at Iron Gate for almost 2 years. Like any business we had a few minor issues along the way, but they where addressed with promptness and grace. If you want to be treated like family, and have a clean safe storage unit, this is the place for you. Thanks again!

We have used Iron Gate Storage in Orchards several times over the last several years for many different needs and Beatrice and Renzo have always been helpful and accomodating! I would recommend them to anyone!

I have never had to place items in storage before so it was a bit nerve-racking finding just the right place. The on-site management made me feel very comfortable - and the free moving truck they provided was incredibly convenient for me! The pricing was better than other local companies, and their friendly, welcoming atmosphere gave me confidence that I made the right choice.

I want to say that the office presence was amazing. It smelt so nice and the office lady was so nice. She was so friendly and showed me the unit and was very explanatory about what the expectations were and the cost. I’m very pleased. Just moved in on the Jan. 26th, 2019. I’m impressed so far.

These folks take care of you and your things. They take time to make sure you are getting the right space for your needs. They make sure to explain the procedures and paperwork so you understand. Great place to store your items! Would definitely recommend giving them a try, you will not be disappointed!

I just closed out our storage unit for the fourth time. That is...weve rented a unit many times over the years. Never had any problems with service. Kayla was the young woman closing out our account today and she was very polite. The rent price....is consistent with todays prices for everything. The units were always clean and I felt that our belongings were always safe and secure. No pest problems either! I would recommend Iron Gate Storage to anyone and would use again if needed.

This place is very clean and the units actually have metal walls!Prior to moving here, I had been using Public Storage, where someone broke through their thin plywood walls to steal from my unit as well as neighboring units.Here at Iron Gate, the security and quality is SOOOOO much better and safer! :) Glad I switched to renting from this company!They also rent moving trucks as well, which Ive taken advantage of twice so far. They make the process quick and easy to understand.

The facility looks well kept and professional. I like how alarms are tied to units so you enter your code to enter and it only disarms your area. If someone accesses thier unit on the other side your alarms are still up. And then you enter code to leave and it turns the alarms back on. Not sure if thats common in storage but I have not previously seen that. The security in general seems very solid. The owners are good people and friendly. The computer system provided by the chain was freezing up when I was there and they made up for that time lost without me complaining or saying a word so that was very professional and appreciated.

The internet said reserve and get 4 months at 50% off. I reserved for April 1st and on April 1st I was told that I could only have three months at 50% off. There was no disclaimer on the internet but I was told that I had to pay for April full price before I could get 4 months at 50% off. I was told that if I had come in on March 31st and paid for the day then I could have had the 4 months. This seems such a scam

Clean, well maintained and secure facility. I like that you HAVE TO enter your access code in the touch pad gate panel each time you enter and leave the units, even if the gate is still open from the person in front of you. Not crazy about the fact that you can only enter the facility coming from the northbound lane (no left turn from southbound)....

We rented a drive-up unit for 3 years and experienced no issues. Our possessions remained safe and undamaged, including from floods and pestilence. Iron Gate-Orchards entire premises are very clean and well maintained. Multiple layers of security eliminated any possible worry of someone gaining unauthorized access to our unit. Helpful staff. Loved the ability to pay online. If the need arose, we would select Iron Gate again.

This storage facility is well maintained and seemingly secure. It has a gate at the front where a code is required to enter. I knock off a star because access to storage is not 24 hours.

Just rented a unit today. Kayla was very thorough and efficient, especially with all the cant dos. The unit was clean and convenient. The light was out and she replaced it right away. A little concerned about all the rate increases Ive read on the previous reviews. I hope that trend doesnt continue, being on a fixed income.

First unit was consistently damp, full of mold so “upgraded” to a climate controlled at a premium $$.The “new” unit had a defective door that allowed dust/debris to enter on one side of the sliding door. By the time I noticed it I was already moved in and did not press the issue.Billing issues regarding several conversations regarding building address changes, yet somehow they still can’t get it right and fire off an “declined” email wasting my time for their mistake.Later rents were raised defeating the purpose of the cheaper remote location. In short, do not recommend this company.

The staff were very friendly, they were very patient with me and my newness to renting a storage unit. The place is clean and it felt very secure. I left feeling good about what Id just done and felt confident that my belongings are in a safe place.

The start up process was very fast and easy!! I had to move units and they were very helpful with everything along with them having moving trucks there. Great people working there!

Called around to many storage facilities and IronGate on 117th was by far the most friendly, straightforward and accommodating. Both Beatrice and Renzo in the front office treat you like family. Couldn’t recommend more!

The Storage place itself is nice and seems secure, the staff are nice. However, I pre-paid for 3 months of storage, and only used a partial month. I received a refund receipt saying I would receive $356 for the 2 months I did not use. I received only half of that amount, @ $188. I called asking why my refund was half the amount on my receipt and was told that since I only used a partial month, my refund is only eligible after a full months rental. I will not be back at this place again and they have earned my bad publicity to all my friends.

Everything is good here the grounds are kept clean and the area is well maintained. The only problem I have is that within 1 year they have raised my rent twice and sometime the owner or workers park their car on the inside of the front gate and it makes it hard to drive around them when I’m driving my truck.

Sometimes it takes a bad situation to really make people shine. I was having a bad day. I was in a foul mood, and in all honesty I was not being altogether pleasant. Enter Renzo. With a spirit eager to help, immune to my negativity he moved heaven and earth to help me get a place to store my things. It wasnt even HIS location. He was filling in for someone else. He was so wonderful I ended up switching locations to be with Renzo and his wife Beatrice on 117th. They are for lack of a better word wonderful. They will make you laugh, make you smile and above all they are Damn good at their job. Wherever you are, where ever you keep all the stuff you still have but dont need, pack it back up and bring it here. You wont be sorry. Tell them Amanda sent you.

I was going to use another storage place before I reached out to them and that place told me I needed to get a certain lock from them, when I came here I showed her the masterlock I had purchased and she said that would work, not trying to force me buy one from them as the other places did. Spoke with them over the phone before I arrived, when I came in the next day she knew exactly who I was, that showed me she really listened to me and paid attention to our conversation! Very friendly staff. We laughed and chatted like we already knew eachother. I highly recommend them. Great customer service from both of them!

Iron gate storage on 117th is a beautiful facility that you can trust to keep your belongings in, weve been here for 3 months and no problems what so ever with our unit!

I rented a unit on July 17th due to being unemployed and needing to store all of my furnishings so I could live with my daughter for awhile. Per the contract I did not have access and would not be using the unit until the 28th. On the 20th I got a job, thank goodness, and called to cancel my unit on the 21st. The manager (Don) informed me that there are no refunds. I could understand this if I had moved my things in to the unit or even if I had access at that point, but access wasnt even granted to me yet because the contract wasnt effective until the 28th! This is a very GREEDY company and I would never rent from them again and would not recommend this company!

I have deliveries that come to my storage unit, on several occasions they did not let my delivery drivers through the door and they closed early (3:00pm) yesterday so I could not get my delivery at all. If you are using this for a business I strongly recommend going somewhere else

At first i was glad that i chose irongate storage in orchards...it was obviously gated, and it was real close to where i live, the price was right & the staff was very nice. but now, 3 years later, all of those things are still very much the same except the rent amount kept increasing more and more. just when i thought i was safe from another increase happening, now theres an additional charge- renters insurance in addition to ...yet another rent increase. ive called around just to learn its pretty much the same everywhere. high price storage units & no vacancy. overall i do like ig. i just wish someone would increase my pay.
