I went in to ask a question about my car and Everett helped me. He did check my fuse for me but was pretty flippant and semi rude when he spoke to me. I was going to be trading my car in and getting another. It just won’t be at that dealership. I saw how their rep. “took care” of me when I had a problem. I miss the other young man that moved to Ford. He was the reason I was staying with Hyundai. Buying a car at a lot is a complete experience. You want the sales department and the service department to be behind customers because we dont want to go to everywhere to have things taken care of. A good store makes sure all departments are on point.

Great experience with Vancouver Hyundai and the purchase of my third Hyundai. Kyle, my salesperson was a great help and I would give him five stars. My only concern was that the final purchase process was slower than it really needed to be. Due to other buyers, I needed to either wait for about 2 hours or return to finish with paperwork.

We drove 35 miles to this dealership because of the Google ratings they had and because they were one of the only dealers that had the the exact vehicle our daughter wanted. When we got there, we looked through one, drove it and then she decided she didnt like that color so she picked another one with the exact same features. It was a brand new vehicle so we didnt realize we needed to go through it with a fine tooth comb. When they did up the paperwork they added $2k on to the price over what was on their website... due to inventory shortage. So much for transparent pricing!We get everything signed for and we left while our daughter was waiting for her app to be set up on her phone and she was to be walked through the vehicle at that point, which I guess didnt happen. She got home and two days later opened the trunk for the first time and there was a large amount of mold. We immediately called the dealer and asked to speak with the sales manager and were told that there wouldnt be a sales manager in until Friday (this was Wednesday) but to bring it in Friday and someone could vacuum it out. This didnt seem reasonable to us and we know Hyundai has a 3 day exchange policy so we immediately drove up to the dealership. My husband was told they cant exchange it..... we were finally told that they didnt know what they could do but that theyd reach out to us the next day. I called right away in the morning and they said that they could exchange it but we should wait until Friday. We didnt because then wed be outside of the 3 day window Hyundai allows and we were certain this dealer wouldnt do the right thing in this situation.When we got back they had sold all of the models with the same options that our daughter had wanted. So she had a choice... downgrade considerably, keep a moldy vehicle or pay another 1750 for the model closest to hers. I pointed out to them that they had already charged us $2k more than their website advertised and that it wasnt exactly our fault they didnt have any similar vehicles so they should do the right thing and give her what was closest (which was the upgrade). Their response was that Hyundai only required them to exchange for equal or lesser value vehicles. Im sure Hyundai also expects them to inspect their vehicles before theyre sold which obviously didnt happen. Any way, we ended up just paying the extra. When we were signing the new papers the sales manager made a comment about how it was a good thing the vehicle she returned hadnt been titled yet because they could sell it as new now.Buyer beware... this dealer will NOT do the right thing or go above and beyond to have a happy customer, they charge more than they advertise and will only do the minimum that Hyundai requires of them, even of theyre in the wrong. Ran into Scott the first time I walked in and he was fantastic. Ran the numbers all different ways for us and went on two different test drives. I did not feel any pressure to buy whatsoever. My wife said it was the most pleasant car buying experience she had ever had! We definitely recommend Scott and the dealership.

Don’t buy the new Elantra. The second it touched water it had horrible water spots. I tried hand drying it, washing it in the middle of the night out of the sun, waxing it, polishing it and nothing gets them off. I’ve washed 4 cars regularly with the same water source and hose and this is the only one to have a spot issue and now my new car has permanent water spots that not only ruin the look but hinder visibility in some circumstances since the spots are just as bad on glass and mirrors as paint. I sent a message to the dealer asking for advice and they never reached out to me. It’s already unacceptable to sell a car that can’t touch water but it’s beyond unacceptable in the PNW. Will never buy from this dealer or brand again

One of the more negative dealership service experiences I’ve had. I had to get a key fob programmed, and the price was not disclosed over the phone even when I asked. Ended up paying $71 in labor for programming a key fob; I already had the fob. There was also a hazardous waste fee on the bill for programming a fob?

The issue isnt with the sales team. They were fine and didnt push to pressure you to buying a vehicle.I bought my Palisade in January of 2020 before the pandemic.The issue with this dealership is the service department is a joke. You cant get an appointment to save your life.I bought a $50k car and I have warranty work to get done and they wont even take an appointment.They will reevaluate in 2 weeks to see if they can even do an appointment.This has been this way for at least 8 months. I now how to drive to another state just to get work done by an authorized dealer.This leads me to believe that this dealership treats employees terribly or this place is closing... maybe both.Do not trust that this place will sell you a vehicle that they can actually service. Once you drive off the lot they are done with you.

Went into this dealership looking for an affordable used car after my current car had been in a wreck. Have never bought a car before in my life but Branden made it an enjoyable process. If you want to be barely acknowledged and then have your vehicle sold from under you, this is a great place for you!Revision after trying to get some resolution:Im appalled at the way Vancouver Hyundai management decided to talk to an eager and potential customer about the way I was treated during the sales process. Yes, awesome, your sales department spent time finding a loan that would work for my financial situation. Im a recently divorced woman establishing a life on my own and was ignored, talked down to, and barely communicated with through the loan process that took the better part of 3 days. In the time that was wasted by the sales team not even reviewing the documents I sent in, the car that was being sold to me was sold to another customer by another sales person.According to the manager who called and insulted my intelligence after reading my original vague review, that is common practice for a dealership. Regardless of whether or not there is a loan being processed for a vehicle, they will sell it to anyone else who comes along. What great ethics and customer service. The final straw influencing me to make the original review was the call telling me Good news, youre approved. Bad news, we sold the car to someone else! They talked over me telling me about all the other great cars they can give me, including ones I said I had already test driven and didnt like. What great listening skills!There was one reason I even walked in the building and that was the car you sold to someone else. I am sincerely regretful of ever wasting my time. I will never trust another car dealership in my life thanks to your team.

Brought my car in because every possible warning light decided to come on. They had to order parts and fortunately I was still under warranty but there were no hoops to jump through for the repairs. Service was quicker than expected considering COVID. Only negative was I had to be proactive about calling them to see when the parts came in and when I’d expect the repairs to be completed. Other than that, service was fast and painless.

Had an appointment to look at a specific car. Get handed off to a salesman that really doesnt seem to care to sell to me. Tell him I did their online payment calculator and I would like to be around that for my payment and car price, he comes back with a price $200 a month higher than what its listed online. Then he comes back with it brought down to almost $100 a month over what their website said. Never coming back to this dealership.

Brandon is great!Hes not the problem.Things were going well with my used car buying process until I came back another day and a different salesman who shall remain nameless tried archaic we wont hold it at all so youd better buy it now sales tactics when I told him that it would take some time for me to get my mechanic to evaluate the car.This comes across as pushy and dishonest because any car dealership that is really interested in selling you a quality car will have little to no problem holding onto a car for you while you have an independent, professional mechanic look at it for your own peace of mind.

We show up with no appointment on a 4 of JulyMainly just to find learn about the Santa Fe.Walk in to show room and immediately sales man Peter ask us we needed or help and had an appointment. And obviously we didn’t but went out of his way to make sure we received the service and attention we needed.Ask us wait a bit, we went to the lot after few minutes he come out and said good news. We were just going to the AutoMall to look a all type of cars to decide what we wanted. The first place we stopped was Vancouver Hyundai. They bent over backwards to let us drive everything we wanted. They are very knowledgeable about their cars. After driving a few we were going to go look at others but they went over the what comes with a purchase. They gave us more than any other place we had looked at for our car. The service department is excellent. Hyundai has some issues!!! I have a Tucson with the double clutch transmission. It has started stuttering again (3 times in the first 15k miles) Hyundai has stopped offering the clutch Relearn update and will not allow the software update unless they recall your specific car.... not the dealers fault.... just another disappointing interaction with Hyundai!!!.

I called in 3 times before we left for the dealer to make sure the final price they provided is accurate, including 500 dollars first responder rebate. The person on the phone even paused the phone once to ask his manager to make sure and he told me yes, I will qualify the extra rebate.I told them from the very beginning that I will pay the full amount with a personal check. NO FINANCING. Guess what? After they ran a hard credit check (credit score minus 8 instantly), in the last minute, the manager Todd said that I have to finance with them to get this 500 dollars first responder rebate. (I was offered the same rebate with another Hyundai dealer without such requirement.) Not even once anyone on the phone ever mentioned that I was required to finance to get the rebate. I called in 3 times to make sure I got the right price with no strings attached since we were traveling to Vancouver from Oregon. The check with the price they quoted was in my pocket all that time.After I refused to finance with them, the manager Todd told me I am free to leave. Then I asked if I could get back the photocopies of my DL and work badge. The answer was no, we got to keep them. It is required by WA state as a failed deal. Then I asked how I would know if my personal info would be safe with them?! The manager said you will have to trust me. You are free to go!.They could have at least let me know that I needed to finance the moment I stepped into the dealer, if not on the phone. Then at least my credit score wouldnt have suffered. And I wouldnt have let them photocopy my personal IDs. And I wouldnt have filled up a detailed form with all my info on it, including SSN. worst experience ever.

We were approached by a salesman who was so polite we were blown away by the fact that he listened to what we were interested in and when we said we were not quite ready to purchase he did not try to convince us to run numbers or anything. Most people think that a pleasant, fair, friendly, quick used-car buying experience is a myth.Myth busted! Jake Wilson is a car guy, not a salesman. He scores 110% as a customer advocate and 0% (Nada, zip, zilch!) on the pressure scale. The rest of the team - Steve Lucas, Jim Joy and Monte Phillips - is just as good.I am now the happy owner of a rare, immaculate, low-mileage Suzuki Kizashi SLS AWD. I arrived at the appointment time. We had scheduled a regular service and a bulb replacement. The technician quickly diagnosed that it wasnt simply a bulb issue but a wiring harness defect. They quickly replaced it under warranty and completed the service. everything worked.

My car buying experience at Vancouver Hyundai was the easiest, most pleasant one Ive ever had. Gary Williams was very low key and not the typical hard selling, high pressure salesperson. He was attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I wasnt deluged by a bunch of addons and the only extra that I purchased was the warranty that brought my 10 year/100000 mile up to include everything. The entire process took less than two hours, including the financing. The 72 month, zero interest special offer was exactly what I wanted for purchasing my new Santa Fe. Brought my car in for a recall (turned out to be several). Service was friendly and fast, but two issues were frustrating. The job was anticipated to take all day so I scheduled a friend to pick me up and drop me off. They called me to say it was ready nearly by the time I got home - so all of the work was completed in about an hour. I would have just stayed at the dealership if I thought that was a possibility instead of inconveniencing a friend. Additionally, when I got home one of the replaced components was installed incorrectly (the brake lights would not turn off, even if the car was). I had to adjust the component myself. Ultimately a frustrating experience from the recall, to the scheduling, to doing the work myself.

We had an awful experience with Peter and would not recommend going here if you have the option. Peter was absolutely rude and got angry when we decided to walk away from his offer. He also could not keep his mask on which made me feel very unsafe when we talked to him. He waved us goodbye in a petty manner and made sure to take petty jabs at us as we walked away. I always get my oil change here. Had some other issues come up. Debbie at Vancouver Hyundai service was very helpful in getting my diagnosis, ordering parts, and seeing the service fulfilled! Even when she was off, I was contacted by the service department and kept up to date on when things would be finished!

Over the last 8 years I have purchased a Santa Fe , Tucson and an Accent. Vancouver Hyundai has been great. Recently I stopped by to look at the new models and Smith helped me. He really knows the lineup of cars and more importantly knows the specs on each one. I will definitely be back in right after Christmas to get the new Santa Fe.

My wife and I went in there looking for a new Tucson or a pickup. I know that seems weird, but we could go either way. We were greeted by the friendliest face you could know. A gentleman by the name of Mark Yarger. He treated us like royalty, to be honest. I’d recommend him to anyone, and I will be back to him in the future!
