Bottom freezer would not open, made appt with American Home Shield who sent in a request to 5 Star in Home Services. I called to schedule an appointment and Jon came out the same day (he worked us in as he knew that we had to unplug the freezer in hopes of thawing it out to be able to open the door) Jon worked to get it taken care of so we would have access to our freezer, had the part he needed with him. Would highly recommend 5 Star for your repair needs. In the future I will request with American Home Shield to have this company for any of our appliance repairs. Cheryl S

Highly recommend, great service! My washing machine stopped mid cycle leaving me a tub full of water and towels. I frantically called multiple places and was told the soonest I could get service was 2 plus weeks. I called 5 star and they had Jon out within 2 days to repair our wash machine. He communicated via phone and text messages when he would arrive and when he was in route. He answered all of my questions, diagnosed and fixed the machine within a very short period of time and was even able to recommend washing machine/garbage disposal cleaning products. If I have any appliances that need to be fixed in the future, I will definitely use them again. Don’t waste your time calling around, call them first!

Very responsive was out the day after contact made and diagnosed problem in about 20 minutes had to order a part. the part came in two business days after the first visit and Jon was out on the third day and installed the new part. Had a small problem texted Jon after hours he got back and was back the next day and addressed the issue within 10 minutes. I would use again and do recommend.

He put a sheet of plastic down before moving the refrigerator to protect my wood floors. The Google map reviews were best for 5 Star than the others in my area. They get 5 stars from me.

Please note this company is for Washington addresses only.. I had an emergency and followed their web instructions to schedule an appointment. Never got a response, so finally called and owner apologized snd explained what happened because I am in Portland. There is an affiliated service for Oregon addresses so just be sure you use the correct one when scheduling.

The lead tech came out and had our gas range running tip top in no time flat! He arrived 5 minutes prior to the scheduled appt, which was relatively quick and easy to set up. He was courteous and wore a mask without asking.

Jon has extensive knowledge in home appliances and got my old washing machine running great(new clutch, transmission and pins for power supply). The old adage they dont make them like they used to comes to mind, he got my machine running great for minimal cost and I kept it out of the landfill in this increasing throw away culture. What service! I took my vintage Sunbeam toaster to Jon and he worked on it the same day, evening actually, after a full work day. He so enjoyed working on it, he told me he was going to try and find one to buy himself. I now have my super keen, retro, late 1950s toaster back and working again!!!! At 5 Star Appliance Tech the service is friendly and fast, and the technicians are knowledgeable. We had a freezer that was needing repairs to the computer system. Jon, our technician, called to let me know when he would arrive and arrived promptly with the parts he thought would fix our issue based on my poor description of the problem. When those parts didnt solve the problem, he went to buy the part that would. Within an hour from the time he arrived, he diagnosed the issue, returned with another part, and fixed what was wrong. He was attentive, polite, and quiet. He worked efficiently thanks to his broad knowledge base, and the cost was reasonably priced. I will use his services again when my appliances need work.
