I have very much enjoyed living at the Meadows these past six years. I really felt like this was home. I always felt safe here, and I was surrounded by nice buildings, courtyards and neighbors. Due to a life change, I had to leave, but leave with nothing but gratitude and fond memories.

When we first came to these apartments to look at them we were so happy! They were the cutest apartment we thought we could raise our daughter in. Little did we know they only show you the front apartment near the office because it’s the nicest one. Prior to moving in our move out date kept getting pushed in a way I wish it was pushed out longer knowing what we had to deal with when we moved in. The assistant manager Loni didn’t have good communication WHATSOEVER. She did not do a walk though of the apartment before move in other wise she would have noticed chips along every wall, it was completely dirty, the cabinets weren’t wiped down the floors weren’t cleaned. The washer made a noise every time we used it and the dryer rocked. We also had a huge water leak followed by a huge hole in two of our walls that needed to be repaired. Not to mention we also had a bad pest problem for the FIRST and ONLY month we were there and I’m talking RATS and ants that just wouldn’t go away. People that lived in these apartments are rude especially the little kids that range from 2-12 walking around with no clothes on or an adult. Cussing out everyone that walks by them. Not a friendly place I wanted to raise my daughter. When I had went to Brittney the manger of the apartment she was hands down AMAZING. She got right on everything I had listed above and took action right away on getting things fixed to also calling pest control to try and help with our pest problem. All though she was a great landlord I didn’t want to deal with the rat problem we had that I knew would of just gotten worse. The maintenance man Vincent was also great every time he walked in to fix something. He was very polite. We had to throw away our brand new $300 grill due to having 2-4 rats running out every time we opened it. We only used our grill once. Very disappointing. Brittney made our experience here great but we didn’t love where we lived and ended up moving.

The office and maintenance staff is super nice. They really came through for me when I had a time conflict with my furniture coming earlier than I was supposed to my keys, but they made it work for me I got my keys right when they showed up and everything went great. My only gripe is the parking at night not enough spaces and people need to learn how to park properly. Other than that awesome experience.would recommend to anyone.

First and foremost I’d like to say that Vince, the maintenance guy has been amazing and very helpful from day one!!! Adrienne, who works in the office has been great as well. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about our move-in experience and the apartments themselves. We were never able to do a walk-through prior to moving in because the apartment was still occupied. There was little to no communication prior to us moving in. We were never even contacted by anyone to let us know that we were approved. Upon move-in the apartment was not properly cleaned, we noticed several holes in the walls that were poorly patched up, paint marks on the floors dirty, sticky cabinets, etc. The dryer was broken and we also had a leak coming from the wash machine the very first night we moved in. They have the nerve to charge you $25 a month for “valet” garbage service only for trash bags to pile up on your patio for 2 to 3 days at a time attracting ants and flies. The staff has been very nice but overall I would not recommend living here!!!

I’ve lived at Meadows at Cascade Park for two years now and will be signing another year lease and it’s been honestly such a great experience. The grounds are beautiful and the community is quiet and really peaceful. When my boyfriend and I recently decided to move in together instead of finding a new place he immediately said he wanted to stay here and just get added to the lease cause he loves it so much. Loni is always so helpful and kind and Vincent is great in maintenance and is always so happy when you see him. I honestly feel really fortunate to be living here.

You wont find a manager better than Loni, she is super sweet, super cute and will bend over backwards to help her residents!... Vincent in maintenance, what an awesome guy, one of the most personable people you will ever meet as well as respectful. I had many awesome neighbors that will hopefully be life long friends.I would rate 5 stars if the parking situation was better. But to be fair, in many parts of the complex the parking is fine. It was just around my building that parking was a bit of a nuisance. However a team like Loni and Vincent, totally makes up for it! The dog park is also awesome. A bit muggy at times, but Im not complaining. My pup and I were in there day and night either sitting on the bench under a huge tree, or wrestling in the grass. Ill miss living there. If it wasnt for wanting to live closer to family, I would have stayed!.

My husband and I have lived here for about 2 and a half years now. They are incredibly over priced for how small of an apartment the one bedroom is. The lack of storage space doesnt help either. We continue to pay more although we have NO updated appliances that all the other apartments have and the flooring is just horrible. ON THE UPSIDE, I absolutely love the office workers. James is always more than helpful and incredibly friendly! Although, we do miss Andrew, we do NOT miss the people who used to manage the apartments. They were rude and inconsiderate. The people who manage now, are a lot nicer and better to talk to :) I love the updates theyve made through out the complex and with the gym/office. All in all, Its a great apartment complex. I feel safe and comfortable. I dont have any other complaints except the things stated at the top!

My husband and I lived here for 2 years. Initially it seemed great, low cost for a larger 2 bedroom. However it quickly went south for us. Too many things wrong with this place to list. Mainly our issues were mold, unprofessional upgrades, and we were lied to about having wood floors. We were told there would be wood floors throughout the apartment (sparing the bedrooms) and on move in it was still carpet. We were told by the man moving us in that he didn’t know and was just filling in at the time. Parking is abysmal, $25 a month for valley trash that is often not taken from the porch for 1-2 days. Swampy grass and no one picks up after their dogs. Poop everywhere. They also bride tenants to give good reviews for $200 off rent. I’ve rented for about 10 years and never had such a bad experience with a complex.

Management is so rude, they screen residents phone calls, they don’t actually submit work orders, when you call to ask about it they tell you it’s been completed when you’re looking at the issue right in front of you. Management lies about everything, they overcharge for these apartments, they make it look nice but there’s a ton of issues you soon find out. They actually offered money off rent to current residents to go on and give a good review, but most of us residents don’t want the money, we’d rather show future residents what their gonna get themselves into, DONT RENT HERE. Keep looking I promise you, the other people who have moved out have said they didn’t get a penny back on their deposits, they will charge you for normal wear and tear and not even fix it for the next resident. They paint over a ton of issues, and think that will resolve it. I could go on about this place and the horrible management!!

I lived in this complex twice in the past. Once around 2005 to 2007 and then again around 2012. The first experience was very nice and was the reason I came back. In 2012 it was a disaster. Management lied to me about a great many things. The pot smokers in the unit below rendered leaving my windows open useless unless I was going to start sharing their bong hits with them every hour. The overall feel of the place had deteriorated to a new low. It used to be a nicer place but that obviously had changed in 5 years. Then there was the ant problem. You could not pay me to live here again. So disappointing because the place could be very nice and it is a nice location.

Well Ive never lived here before so I cant give an honest rating. 3 for me is neutral. I am from California and was actually looking into moving to Vancouver and actually considered moving to these apartments. But shoot 2.8 rating and a lot of complaints about management being liars and things not be taken care of when called upon is really concerning. Im all about reviews and I was really hoping there would have been better things said about this place because I really liked what i saw from the pictures. Sucks.

Ive been living in the 2 bedroom loft apartment since October 2016. Ive lived in a lot of apartments over the years and Im very pleased with living here. I love it. The price is pretty high which is why Ill be moving when my lease is up due to income changes, not due to the apartment. The apartment is really nice and the grounds are well kept. The CAM charges though are annoying but again thats how they keep the grounds nice. With water, sewer, garbage and CAM charges expect your rent to be $100 a month more than what is listed. I was aware of this because the management told me so I was well informed. The pool area is nice. My son and I are there at least 3 times a day. They clean it about every other day so it doesnt get too dirty, there are trees on the far side of the pool so yes you do get some tree debris but again, they clean it fairly regularly so it doesnt get gross. There is vale garbage service that you cant opt out of...which why would you? Being a single mom its really nice not having to haul your garbage to the dumpster especially when its dark. I love it.My downstairs neighbor is really nice but at times they smoke pot, which I dont, and I can smell it come through my bathroom and laundry room vents. So thats a drawback. But I close those doors and it helps reduce the smell but not completely. The staff are really nice and Ive only had good experiences with them. The maintenance have been super quick and very helpful. I did have a problem with a leaky sink and they came over within 4 hours and replaced the entire nozzle. I had another incident with a window blind. They called and apologized, asking if I can wait till the next day because their maintenance team were backed up with other calls. I appreciated that. The next day they were over fixing the issue.Overall, I would love to continue living here. It really is a nice place and great area.

We have been here for just over a year and have had a very pleasant experience r overall. They are dog friendly (even with big dogs), run contests for money off rent, have community yard sales.... The apartments are currently being repainted on the outside which is looking great. The layout is very roomy & quiet. We have 3 dogs above us but would take that any day over screaming children. Complaints: dogs off leash, people parking in carports that they have not paid for, pet owners that do not pick up after pets. Overall we are very happy with this apartment experience.

Pros: Good location, good layout of apartment, nice pool and property area.Cons: Old windows with a lot of mold that is extremely hard to take care of, not enough parking, very unorganized management. Also, this place allows smoking, I couldnt let my son be outside on the balcony because someone from neighbors was always smoking. Another thing apartments are pets friendly, which was tough for us because we had an infant, and dog barking constantly woke him up...So, if I would look for apartments again I would not consider going back to Meadows because for us there are more cons than pros for us, but for others specially someone who smokes or owns pets that could be nice place to live.

Rent is way too high for what you get. Outdated appliances and no microwave. Walls are paper thin and you can hear clearly conversations in the adjacent apartments even when theyre speaking at a normal level of conversation. Forget about maintenance requests. And now have to smell the potheads smoke when walking the dog or trying to barbecue. My patio floods easily when it rains due to poor drainage of this property. There has been a huge hole dug up outside of my apartment for several months that is covered with a piece if plywood and the pile of dirt beside it. I cant wait for my lease to be up. I maintain the apartment very well, but based on other reviews, I wont be surprised if they try to not refund what is owed to me.

I cannot express to you enough how much I regret ever stopping in this complex and filling out an application. They lie straight to your face, they are rude, unprofessional and basically bully the residents. You can’t ever get anything fixed. All issues take a month and server all phone calls before anything is fixed. In our apartment, one toilet became unusable and instead of fixing it right away we were told, “it’s not super important since you have another toilet” um excuse me but I pay for TWO TOILETS not one. Under new management. The cost of rent here is deceptive. There are cam fees that seem to vary widely and are not included in rent. As well as a few more disclosed fees which increase the cost. Also, Comcast told us the cable wiring was old and out of date in our unit. Dont expect to get great internet speeds. More over, rental prices seem to be increasing. We will be moving out soon Im afraid. A few of the managers are very nice, at least one, not so much. Its a shame, it could be a nice place to live. Just not worth the new $$ Im afraid. DO NOT RENT HERE! The management is horrible and the employees are not on the same page with each other. One employee told me that I only had to give a 20 day notice if I was breaking my lease so when I came to break my lease the manager said that I had to give a 30 day notice and that I would be charged an additional fee. I took it all the way to higher management to complain. I ended up not having to pay the fee or the fee to break the lease (2,000 dollars) because I had no working toilet in my apartment (2 bathroom). I put in the request 5 times to maintenance but they said it was not an emergency issue so I had to wait until they had time. Every time I had to go to the bathroom, I had to drive to Safeway. There is no cell reception anywhere in the apartment and had to walk to the office whenever I wanted to make a call and even sometimes that was not enough and had to leave the complex completely. My sister had accidentally broken the garage door opener and I went to the office to ask for a new one or if they could let me into mine while I was moving out and they told me they hold no back up openers so they would have to put in a request to get someone to come out but it wouldve been two weeks. Good thing Im a tech and can put the opener back together. Management does not care about safety of residents. I saw a man naked standing outside of a window and called 911. The next day I told the manager and the response I got was, well, what would you like me to do about it. There is no free parking anywhere! I had to park 3 blocks outside of the complex and walk all the way to my apartment most nights. This is a terrible place and for what you pay for a two bedroom (1500 including utilities), you might as well go somewhere else.

The management is terrible, They nickel and dime everyone here - even for a parking spot. They charge $25 for trash every month (even if you can take your own trash out they still charge you for garbage valet) They legit offered money off rent to their residents to go on social media to help their reviews, even with saving money I’d rather tell people the truth, see the picture attached of them offering money for good reviews. this place is trash from management and staff down to the actual apartments. Theirs mold and if you complain, or even write emails they will tell you to use bleach water and tell you that you signed a mold and mildew agreement. James and Johnny clearly favor certain residents as they will make sure nothing gets done for your unit if they don’t like you. If you have any minor issues with your apartment don’t count on it being fixed any time soon. Trust me when I say stay away from this place. It’s awful and the worst place I’ve ever rented in my 59 years of living.

Worst property Ive lived at EVER. The negligence of the property is beyond severe!! I wish I would have taken all of the bad reviews seriously and Im disappointed I negated them thinking theres good and bad reviews for all places. I havent even been here a month and its depressing. Im paying over $1,300 a month to deal with massive issues (one toilet is broken, no smoke detector for almost two weeks, washing machine is moldy and doesnt work, dryer filthy to the point Im scared to use it, apartment not cleaned or painted, bathtub has cracks so my young child is unable to take a bath, severe stench throughout the apartment, sinks dont work properly, pipes leak, water pressure is extremely low making it harder to wash dishes, etc.) Its horrid!!! For approximately 180 units, they only have 2 maintenance men which as you can imagine, are unable to keep up with the work load because all of the units are in this condition!!! This property grosses over $230,000 a month in rent for all units but invest nothing in making sure its residents are happy. I wish i had the $2,500 they want to break the lease soI can run and never look back. Ive never been so disgusted and uncomfortable with the levels of unprofessionalism and negligence. This will never be Home but a hell hole Im binded to for 12 months.

They moved someone else in below us a few months later that flooded our apartment with weed smoke everyday despite us asking nicely for them not too and escalating it thru management all the way to the owners of the property because it was affecting our 1 year old sons health.2) After escalating the issue thru to owners nothing was done to rectify it and we decided to move. Plus side they didnt make us pay lease break fees because of the situation.3) We moved out... it took over the legal 21 days to get our security deposit back. We sent them the new address in 3 seperate emails, left a voice message with it, and even talked to James and gave it to him directly yet somehow they sent it to the wrong address.4) When we went to pick up our security deposit check once it arrived back at the complex, our one year old sons name was also on the check... our bank is in new mexico still...Side note: they bribe their residents to give them good reviews in exchange for chances at prizes... so take the good reviews with a grain of salt... look at the $200 off rent in this newsletter...Also watch out for the mold. You dont see it in the dry months but the wet months check your window sills

It is a basic apartment complex. Mostly it has been ok, the place seems safe and I have not seen a hint of breaking into cars. On the other hand they are too cheep to haul off the garbage or recycle as often as needed, and it creates a whole mess for everyone. And then we get told not have so much trash or recycle. Um yeah, way to solve the problem folks! But none of that was enough for me to write this review. The complex was just purchased by AMC, and now setting up auto pay is $10. Actually using it is $2.50 a month. I guess they actually want to not use it and hopefully be late with the rent, because the late fee is $150.So I feel like I went from marginally competent management, to a new management looking to nickle and dime me at every opportunity.Update: Down to one star. I got nickled and dimed for the $150. The first was a Friday and between a doctor appointment and work, I didnt get in the office to pay the rent. Monday is the fourth, cha-ching, $150 for them! And they demanded certified funds. I read through my lease, they cant demand that! So I went back and left my check. Do they really want to go to court? The blond chick in charge her probably does. Not a nice person at all. Even the UPS guy cant stand her rudeness.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFEMy wife and I were searching for a new place in the Fishers Landing/Vancouver area since it was closer to work and family. We only had a few days before our current lease was up so finding a new apartment had to be a quick process. After visiting and applying to a few place around the area, we came to the Meadows at Cascade Park. My wife and I were given a tour an apartment; the place was nothing special, just a decent apartment. The problem wasnt with the actual apartment though; it was with trying to apply to see if we would be approved actually to move in. So after the tour we went into the office and started the applications and credit/background check. We were told in a day or so we would receive a call from them (office managers) about the status of our application. We made it clear to both managers that we would continue to look for another apartment since we were uncertain where we would be accepted. For the next four days, we kept calling and waited to hear from the Meadows about the status of our application. But they kept telling us they were still waiting for the background check. So we continued to look elsewhere and eventually fell in love with Eight Towncenter Apartments and were approved to move in the next day! A few more days passed, and as were moving, my wife received a phone call from the female manager, THREATENING my wife to pay the move out/cancellation fee of $200! Even though both Meadows and Eight Towncenter are BOTH managed by GREYSTAR. We never even knew we were accepted, and even though we chose a different apartment ran by the SAME property management company, we have been forced to pay this $200 moveout/cancellation penalty. It felt like Ive been scammed. The whole problem just seemed crazy to me; it was like I was forced to move in or pay this penalty. How could I search for an apartment if every time I applied to a different complex, I were obliged to pay a cancellation fee for not moving in? After months of not hearing from the managers from the Meadows, I receive a email from a Greystar employee stating that if I do not pay, the fee with be sent to collections and my renters history will affected. I never lived at the Meadows! How is this even legal?! The managers never mentioned anything about a cancellation fee and knew I may choose a different apartment complex. We were under a timeline, we told them that we would be searching for other places, yet they charged me $200 just for applying. It was never taken off the market, they didnt lose any money. But still feel that its okay to charge people $200 for a simple application. That all I did, I applied to see if I would be accepted to live at the Meadows. I also applied to other locations and was approved but choose a different place. They never charged me for a CANCELLATION/MOVE OUT fee.Read the reviews made by people who actually lived at the Meadows at Cascade Park, check yelp and other resources. Dont fall victim like I have. #Greystar #Meadowsatcascadepark

We called and told them it was a fire hazard and needed to be attended to they painted over the burn they didnt re-wire or do anything other than cover the burn. So we stopped using the main kitchen light and used the small one above the sink for the remainder of our lease.
