Id like to say my experience at this location was outstanding. From Betty helping me find the flowers, Shelly helping me find the candy dishes to Jolene helping me find items in the back. All of these folks went out of their way to help and much appreciated.

Until last year I would have given this Dollar Tree 5 stars. The staff is great and they usually have everything I need. They carry gift bags, gardening basics, cheap tools, snacks, and frozen items. At the end of last year a lot of homeless started hanging around outside. They shoplift items while your inside and the manager has to run out after them. This is probably a police problem, but it dampens the atmosphere.

This used to be my favorite Dollar Tree in Tucson. Great for kids’ crafts, puzzles and art supplies, clean, and the cashiers and employees were really nice. Unfortunately, there’s a manager(?) named Jolene who feels the need to treat customers rudely and act like they’re criminals. So condescending and rude. I have never experienced such rude behavior from someone there—and on multiple occasions. She acts like she’s the smartest person and so important, but in reality she’s a low-level manager with a chip on her shoulder.The first time I encountered her, I had found some candy in the discount section. While I was being rung up, she comes marching over, grabs the candy out of the cashier’s hand and says, “This is NOT 50 cents. It was misplaced.” I told her it was over in that area, and she said it was a mistake in an accusatory manner. Like I would steal candy from a dollar store.The second time I went to return an item that was defective. In front of a large group of customers, she says in a huff, “If you don’t have a receipt, then we can’t exchange it.” I replied, “Oh, I opted for no receipt when the cashier asked me yesterday.” And her response was, “Well, that’s on you! That’s on you!” And she scoffed as if I would know better.I have spent thousands of dollars at that store on an annual basis, and this is how she talks to me? I have bought out cases of items on occasion for my kids’ schools, and I don’t shop at the dollar store out of necessity. It just has the same thing I can pick up at Target for less.After I left the store, I was so upset that I went back in and told her it was never a problem before, and she said in a lecturing tone, “I TOLD you I would help you if you had just waited a minute. I was TRYING to teach the new cashier the policies.”She never said she would help me, and if she did, I didn’t hear her because she was in a different line checking out customers and turned to them, so there’s no way I would have known she was talking to me when she was facing the other direction. Long story short, Jolene is awful and needs to learn a thing or two about customer service.While I found the discounts great for cheap crafts and supplies for my kids, I’d rather go to another store than deal with her attitude. If foot traffic starts decreasing at that location, I’m sure she is one of the root causes.

Just as its always been except now you have to wear a mask. A lot of fun and useful stuff for only a dollar!

This store is one of several stores I have been going to. Seems like there are only a few that have recovered from the Corona pandemic! I am sure others feel the same way I do too!

We have been to this store multiple times and they are usually well stocked and friendly. Today I had a bad experience when a male employee followed me and my 2 daughters saying something I couldnt understand as I didnt know he was talking to us. I turned around to say excuse me and he continued speaking to my daughters (9 and 6) He said they are rude and it would be nice if they pick up after themselves, my 9 year said she didnt do anything that my 6 year old did and he continued to look down at them and say to my 9 year old that she did it too that he saw her. My first instinct was to tell my girls that thats not right and I proceeded to go look for what was out of place and after I picked up 2 toys I realized... Who is this man to speak this way to my children in front of me. I proceeded to go ask that he speaks to me and not my kids and Ill be the one doing the parenting and he once again said that that is rude and never apologized. My husband realized what was going on and unfortunately didnt keep his cool and things blew out of proportion followed by the employee threatening to call the cops. Nothing wrong with the store but that is just not professional, if you work at a store you need customer service skills. Im not the kind of parent to allow my kids to be wild but they are kids. My girls left crying, never going back.

I love dollar stores! So this may be a bit prejudice. The Dollar Tree does really well with decorations for holidays. I sometimes get florals here because of the pretty good price and quality. They always carry some great organizing storage items. Every once in awhile they carry something that is of way better quality than a dollar; for example, flameless candles, a great novel, a cool toy for kids, nice hair barrettes. They really surprise me. And they surprise me a lot. I love them!This specific dollar tree is very clean. The staff is always friendly and talkative. The manager was very helpful when I was looking for a certain product too. A great store!

This location is pretty good, they have pretty much anything youre looking to find for low low prices, and they keep the store pretty clean. The staff is alright, pretty friendly and they openly offer assistance.

I know everythings only a dollar there which sounds pretty cheap but there is some good Bargains if you look for them especially the the Food & party supplies.Oh and you can get mylar balloons of many different sorts for parties and if you go there on Sunday, the Sunday papers only $1 !

If you are referring to the Dollar Tree, at Irvington and Campbell, that store is a mess. Cant get down the isles. Store is dirty. No leadership, no managers. Store is just nasty.
