Dollar General stores are in the top 5 of my most visited stores and my most favorite stores. Now having said that let me say that this particular Dollar General had really let me down. A friend and I visited this Dollar General for a quick stop for a few things fast. The lady that works there accused my friend of having something in his pocket asking if he was going to pay for the things in his pocket. My friend emediately pulled everything out of his pockets to show this lady that he hadnt stashed anything there. After showing her the contents of his pockets he attempted to buy the things he had picked out to buy and she told him to just get out of the store. I understand that stealing is a big problem here in our lovely city Tucson az but this lady crossed that the line. She should have at least said that she made a mistake but no she had to refuse his purchase and she made him out to be a low-life guy in front of plenty of people. I must say this particular Dollar General has earned a two star rating and I suggest you find another quick solution for your small list shipping. There is a Family Dollar store across the street. I do however still say that Dollar General is wonderful store and that most of the time I have a most pleasant shipping experience there. I do still recommend shopping at Dollar General. Just not this one!

Polite staff and helpful, unfortunately very under staffed. I felt bad for the 2 workers who were trying so hard to keep the store in order with only the 2 of them and trying to be attentive to all the customers. They did their best.

Good staff very courteous can always get in and out fast keep up the good work ladies.

Its okay and they have a good verity of stuff. The casher was so rude and out of it. I dont think this one is the bes of all them

Close to home, good prices on products. However the store on w. Kinney rd. Tucson is messy andsometimes dirty. Too many products displayed INalready crowded store. Sometimes theyre out ofproducts but so are alot of places. C+ !

A very clean store, with good selection. One of the better Dollar General stores in this area. Very relaxing and safe area to shop. Pretty good parking lot, easy to find. 😎 Weekly sale ads are very helpful on saving money. You will always find something that your needing for your family meal or snacks for a good game. 👍

It used to be a great store when it first opened. For like the first almost 6 months. Then they started to hire all the younger kids. First job & just graduated HS kids. They leave you at the counter for 10+ minutes && are no where to be found.

Great customer service

This store is trash. The customer service is lacking. It’s in organized and under managed. The lack of willingness to help is little to be desired. This used to be one of the best dollar generals. It is so sad to see what an awful place it turned into.

I went in to look for something else and came out saving alot of $$ from the Clearance area. Its a Great store and its name brand items (tons of items) thats in the clearance area. The sale ends soon as long as the products are available. The employees are friendly & helpful! Thank you Dollar General 😀

Its alright make you leave any bags by the counter cause your most likely a theff and they will take you items if you leave in one spot to go look at something else and then over the Intercom remind you they will call the cops so you best be ready to be treated guilty till check out lol

They had something that was really hard to find I was very happy with that and the employee working cash was very friendly

I would of gave it a 5 but the new manager the skinny long hair girl is always looking all mad doesn’t even greet her customers! Always on the phone, doesn’t make share the stores organized from what I see. I think they should get someone else.. other stuff greet you and ask if you need help with anything and they make you feel more comfortable!!!

Found what i was looking for. Walmart closes at 8:30pm. Dollar General closes at 10pm.

Never a cashier ready. They leave the front unstaffed. Ive seen people walk out with stuff many times. Theres a dipisht manager that is always hanging out front smoking, and makes unwanted advances towards you if youre female. They make you feel like youre inconveniencing them because you need to check out. Oh, and once I bought one of those Hormel Compleats... Chicken and dumplings... And it was 2 YEARS PAST EXPIRATION. I thought it tasted like ish.

Dollar General is the beeez neeez😛😄. They got great bargains on everything. The other I realized they also sell air filters for the AC. Who would of known😜👌

Its always a pleasure to go into this store the employees are always on this spot to help you find something if you cannot find it and they are so nice

Customer Service was not the Best because non of the two young lady employees knew how anything about Western Union. Instead, they tell me that I have to do everything online by using the WU App... Why advertise the service if the employees are going to say to do everything online using the App?

Dude was nice... But being that they call themselves Dollar general I would expect better prices than Walmart. For the most part.... Not the case.Could also be cleaner.The 2nd star is awarded only because the employee was very polite and helpful.Otherwise... I wont be here again .

I went here with my daughter and her friend and my son! Not a big variety on boy stuff but girls stuff yes, saw a couple walk out with a big purse full of stuff and a bin just walked out didnt pay for none of it such a sad world!!! #Hardworkers and #Honest people!!!

Absolutely the worst experience iv ever had at a dollar general. Manager is rude and would not sell me my items saying that they were to be sent back to recieve credit. Asked him for his GM number he spouts off some random number. Will be calling corporate office.
