I spent a lot of money for gel nails. The cost of gel is expensive there and they did a terrible job. We got them done Friday and by Sunday they were lifting, where she buffed over the gel turned brown. By Wednesday I needed a new manicure! Spent a lot for them to be ruined. I dont have a physical job for them to them not last at all.

Nails lasted me 4 weeks before I had to get a balance and the place is big nice and spacious

For our first time we had fun. I will say that I scheduled a 4pm appointment in advance and we were seen almost an hour later. When I asked if there could be a discount, the woman said sorry they dont do discounts which is unfortunate and bad service on their end. I will say when my mom and I finally got seated we enjoyed it and the people we had did a great job. I had a girl named Elana and my mom had a cool real funny guy. Also, if the woman who was probably the owner would have offered us a discount, their workers would have received a tip.... Idk whats wrong with owners in nail salons but being greedy is not a good look

K believe it may be a problem when NO ONE ever answers the phone. Poor customer service to say the least. I have been calling for over a month and nothing yet...If I didnt have a gift card I would not even bother...so if you are just in need of some self care I would most definitely look elsewhere.

I would like to rate this place higher but I have been trying to call this place for over 3 weeks to schedule an appointment because they only accept call ahead appointments as of recently but they refuse to pick the phone up. I’m not sure how i’m supposed to give a business, my business but they never answer the phone.

My nails always look amazing! The staff are friendly and listen to what you want. Big selection of nail colors and are good quality.

Could see the lines between coats, nail tech was on the phone constantly, didnt touch my heel at all during pedi then i went in to show them how my nails were peeling and chipping after just days and she told me to come back in an hour. When I did they refused to fix it unless I wore a mask. The mask mandate is up in toledo and I dont have a mask anymore. I spent 80 dollars on absolutely nothing. Could have done better myself.

Not enough chairs for customers to sit. Never on time with appointments, you always have to wait even though you an appointment. Doesnt always have the polish you want. Techs are artistic & talented with designs and polish.

If anyone wants good quality nail service, do NOT go to Espres at Franklin Park mall! Nothing but bad experiences. From being charged an extra $5 to get TWO of my nails shaped more because “coffin cut” (it wasn’t coffin, I asked several people), to having a nail tech make homophobic/transphobic remarks about a guy getting a pedicure, and then today, having to wait 40 minutes after my SCHEDULED appointment time to even get a nail tech. When I explained my situation and asked if I could get at least some discount for them being so late (mind you, people who came in after me were treated before me), I was told that was not going to happen. This sounds like “first world problems” but the unprofessionalism is UNREAL. Honestly I shouldn’t have even gone there after the homophobic incident and idk why I momentarily forgot about that but ugh. Their nail work is pretty good/mediocre, but the professionalism and organization is so off base I’m surprised they keep clientsLong story short: DONT GO TO ESPRES!!

Nice atmosphere, BUT.. be sure your tech knows what theyre doing before you let them start. Had a guy do a gel pedi and my paint came off the same night after 20 mins in a hot tub. They would not refund, but did offer to redo. Altho the woman I chose to redo my set did a good job fixing that disaster, it was enough to not go back. I dont like the fact that i couldnt get a full refund when my entire set was trash. I really did not want their services after such a blatant mistake, made by what was supposed to be a seasoned, professional tech. I give 3 stars for decor and atmosphere, and 2 stars for service.

This was my first time there and I was served right away and he was so attentive and made sure my toes were perfect. If you go there is an older man I think Justin or Jason was his name, amazing. You deserve a shout out😊

Full disclosure- I was a walk-in. I waited an hour. The woman was super fast, though she knew exactly what I was asking for. Definitely cut a few of my cuticles with the drill. The price was OUTRAGEOUS. Beautiful place but won’t return.

Nice place the customer service was goood large selection of nail color however. I been getting my nail done for many years I never had to pay separate for a fill-in and nail color. Yes my receipt said fill-in $26 nail color $ 17.Will not return to this nail shop ever again:(

I have gone to Espres a few times. Each time, I feel like the employees are more interested in BS-ing with each other than working on my nails. This last girls asked me so many questions she didnt focus on doing my nails. My gel polish didnt last 4 days. They wouldn’t fix the acrylic on my pinkie even though they closed in 3 hours and weren’t busy. The other 9 nails were fine I just wanted them to fix the one. I also knew the paint color I wanted there so it should’ve been a quick process to re-do the one nail.

Got a pedi done here and my guy, Ryan was very thorough!! He took his time and really did a very nice job!! Jason did my dip on my toes and did an amazing job!! Very impressed with this salon!!

So my nails looked good but it was so over priced I will never go back without tax it was $82 for a full set, gel nail, and some little diamonds on 4 nails after tax it was $87.58. Sorry but not sorry never going back. Two of the diamonds fell off the next day

Very rude. They were acting like they didn’t want to service up. When we were inquiring about a service on their menu, they told us “it was an old menu”, but they had the “old menu” posted all around their shop. I got a pedicure and the guy cut my toe & made me bleed. I will not be coming back.

I have mixed feelings about this visit ...the main problem I had with it was the wait we had scheduled app in advance and when we got there we were told they were 15 min behind...however we were not served until 50 min later ...the tech was awesome but the wait was beyond annoying and we almost missed our app somewhere else because of it...so for that only 3 stars

I like the elegant ambiance of this place. The management and technicians are typically friendly and do their jobs well. Sometimes, there is a wait, even with an appointment, and theyre funny about taking credit cards. (FYI, they wont let you charge the tip. ) Otherwise, I like this place. I am a regular here.

Pedicures were nice but the gel nails were the worst Ive had. Lasted only 3 days before completely lifting and coming off. Gel polish did not meet the cuticle, leaving my nails to look grown out after just getting them done.

Terrible Technicians with bad attitudes

I go to Betty and absolutely love her. I have referred two friends of mine already who also say great things about her. She introduced me to the dipping powder for my nails and I love it although it is a bit pricey for every time. I get compliments on my nails all the time. My 8 year old daughter loves to go with me and get her nails regularly polished for just $6. She feels pampered and it’s fun to do together.

I walked in hoping to get my eyebrows done for my wedding and decided to leave with a full set. I didnt wait long at all but I also went on a Wednesday in the middle of the day. The nail tech did a wonderful job with my eyebrows. Definitely the best they have ever looked. She also did my nails and hand painted my accent nail. Definitely will come back!

Ive received pedicures for years, but Trina was professional, and attentive. My experience was worth the money. But went in today for an appointment and after 20 minutes decided to reschedule. My post isnt wrong, was over a year ago. Very late response. Nice try.

Ive had good experiences every time Ive gone here. I do a dip manicure with Jason when I get my nails done, and hes always attentive and quick. I recommend making an appointment, especially if youre planning a weekend visit. If you dont have an appointment, be prepared to wait!

Betty is the absolute best. Not only does she have a good rapport with her clients but her work is amazing. I always love my nails, leave satisfied and they last very long. We always have great conversation too, that’s a plus.

Alivia and charity were mine and my sisters techs and they were very professional... welcomed us with smiles. Went over the different packages for pedicures. Talk to us the entire time and the massage was too die for!!! I recommend this place and techs to anyone who wants to be pampered and taken care of!!!

I have been going to see Jenny for almost a year now, and I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else. She is caring sweet and very very good at what she does. The environment alone is relaxing and beautiful. This spa has stole my heart!

First time being here, went as a walk in for a balance when they opened and was 1st on the list. They took the 2nd person on the walk in list before me. No biggie, I wasnt in a hurry. The man that did my nails was more interested in answering the phone and making appointments, signing people in, and texting or checking his personal phone. I felt like I was bothering him by being there. Very little conversation other than him telling me it was supposed to be his day off. $40 for a balance where my cuticles look horrible, the nails are all different lengths & thicknesses only to feel like I was a bother wont bring me back.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. When I first came to the establishment they told me it was no wait yet I needed up waiting over a hour and a half while employees took smoke breaks to vape and were in the back having conversations. I will never visit this establishment again and I advise no one else do if you actually care about having your time wasted!

Nails lasted about a week, for both me and my friend who came here. This is not the usual place I go to, but I decided to give it a second chance since it’s near to my college and her house. Regret it. The first time we were here, our nails did the same thing. The nails simply do not last like they are supposed to, and we aren’t rough at all with them. Paid $50 for it to last a week. They literally fall off in my sleep in a few days. The usual place I go to charges $30 and it lasts over a month. This is ridiculous and a rip off. I’m tight with money and this was a huge disappointment. Will never be going back. The people are nice and I’m not trying to be rude but they just don’t last like they should. Take what you will of this repeated experience.

I’ve gotten my nails done there for awhile and typically they do a very good job. Many of the workers are very kind and thorough with their work and always try to make a connection to the customer. Although, the last time I went in with my 14 year old sister, one of the workers made terribly rude comments about her weight (she is nowhere near overweight) , asking her if she “eats my food too” and made her cry for the duration of the appointment. I didn’t know this until after we left the salon but I made sure to call and tell the manager and all I received was an “I’m sorry I will talk to him.” Coming from a man, this kind of comment can have a huge impact on a younger girl’s self esteem and I’m so disappointed because that was the place that we always went to get our nails done, but we will not be returning again.

Tried to get my nails done here on 3 separate occasions and each time I waited over an hour and a half and never got served! They skipped over my name knowingly even after asking me what my name was! GO TO NAIL BAR in Toledo. I love the workers there and they do an AMAZING job!!

I absolutely loved the place. I had an appointment and was taken care of right away. The girl shaped them perfect. No mistakes. I didn’t have to tell her to fix anything. I’ll most defiantly be back. I don’t remember the girls name but I highly recommend her. She has black hair medium length. And her desk is two behind the front desk on the end. I think I heard someone say her name was Kelsey. Not sure but she was the best there no doubt.

The only place I go. Katie did a great job with my nails. She had great attention to detail and was so nice to talk to. She took great care of me.

We went to get my daughter and my nails done yesterday (Saturday) I made the mistake by putting down the wrong name for the nails I put pedi 😬. Sophie and Alissa is who we got. My daughter loved chatting the time away. And I really enjoyed having Alissa. She is a very nice women, and it was just so relaxing. We went back (Sunday) to get our nails done and again we had Alissa (Sophie had the day off) she done a great job on our gel nails. This place was VERY clean, nice people there, and had TONS of selection. What I liked the most was the selection that you could match your gel and vise versa. I havent been to a place that had that great of a selection. I would have given 5 stars BUT as I was signing the credit card slip there was no tip spot. I had asked why and there really was no reason it just wasnt made available anymore for customers. I will tell you this most of us DONT think about having cash on us and that is just an inconvenience if we want to tip our nail techs in my opinion. Maybe look into bringing it back. Over all experience was great and Ill be back already made an appointment. 😁😁😁

What an Awesome experience! Traveled to the area for an event and I needef a fill and repair for my Ombre Nails. my bestfriend recommended Eapres Nails, so I called and made an appointment. As soon as I arrived I was immediately seated. I believe his hame was Mike and carefully examined my nails, confirmed what needed to be done, the shape, length and color I preferred. The conversation was pleasant and professional. The salon was well maintained and employees were professional. I was so pleased and impressed with his work. Phenomenal! I will definitely be back.

I walked in 10 minutes BEFORE my appointment, & my name was already on the sheet so I picked a color & sat down. To make a long story short, they gave my appointment away to someone else (one of the workers friends). I was not late for my appointment, they just decide to give it away to someone else.

Not worth the extra money. I really like the powder dip nails but I have been disappointed each of the three visit after the first one. The girl that originally gave me the dip nails has left Espres Nails and each technician since has been poor. Last visit, the gentleman could not find the top coat for the powder dip and instead used a gel top coat. When I questioned this he said that it was even better. LIE... it did not bond with the dip powder and started chipping off after two days. I feel he did not care. Not going back.

Great experience here, if you do not have an appointment expect an hour wait or more. If you have an appointment it’s normally a fifteen minute wait at most.Acrylics look awesome every time!

Ive been here twice and regretted it each time. I wont make that mistake again. The first time I came here I got the WORST pedicure I ever had in my life. The second time coming here I called and made an appointment for a specific service. Upon prompt arrive at my appointment time, I had to wait 30 minutes before I was seen. I was then told that they do not provide the service I had made the appointment for! (Gel nail balance) awful. Dont waste your time or money at this place.

Scheduled a 1:30 appointment with Betty based off a excellent review from one of her clients, only to walk in on time and be told that I’d have to come back because she was too busy. This salon is beautiful! I used to go to Fancy Nails and dont think Im ever going back. 3 of us wanted to get our nails done last night and called last minute and they FIT US IN! It is such a beautiful environment. We all go full sets of acrylics with gel polish and we all love them! My color is slightly thin on a few nails but that alright and one has air bubblea in it so Im going back to get that fixed today. The owners are so sweet and very funny. Such wonderful staff and amazing pricing too!

We walked in around 5:00pm, and they said 7:30, we waited for over an hour and didn’t even do our nails the way we wanted them. And our nails broke and popped off within a week. Never again.

Absolutely horrible! I came in for a walk in balance, they were busy so I made an appointment for an hour later, I added on a pedicure and a back massage. They called me as I was on my way back and asked if I cold wait another 30 min, I explained I had a babysitter and was on a time limit. They had me waiting up at the front for 45min before the girl showed up to tell me she was ready for me. My appt was for 5pm she started at 545pm. The girl told me all about her fake id, how she made almost 2,000$ a week and how she was going out that night! Very very unprofessional! It took her 15 minutes to do my balance! My nails were not cut even, they were wavy, just absolutely horrible! Dont go here if you want good quality acrylics. I walked out paying 85$ for a balance and a pedicure. I never got my massage!

Walked in at 4:34pm on 3/28/19 was told a 40-45 minute wait for a pedicure for me and a full set for my friend! Waited at 5:25pm they took my friend back for a full set TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER they tell me they can’t do my pedicure for another 20-30 minutes and won’t accommodate at all! Unreal never coming back!

Do not go here! I went in today to get a pedicure. Brian sat down to do my pedicure and the first thing I told him was not to use any nail clippers or cuticle nippers on me, only file. So he proceeds to use cuticle nippers to cute my nail so far up on the sides I screamed! He said “you have in grown nail”, first off, I’m a nurse AND a cosmetologist, no I don’t! I have never had one before in my life and I know what they are. I deliberately keep my nails longer than the edges for that reason. He cut so far up the side of my nail, he cut into the quick. It’s been about 6 hours since the pedicure and my toe hurts so bad I can’t sleep. Then, he proceeded to give the worst massage I have ever received during a pedicure. I would seriously tell you to NOT go here, even if it were the last place on earth! I’m pissed that I spent $50 dollars on the worlds worst pedicure and no I’m so much pain from it that it’s keeping me awake! It’s because of people like him that clients end up with infections and ingrown toe nails! And if you choose to still go there for a pedicure, protect yourself and don’t let Brian come near you with a 10 foot pole!

My daughter and I went to the Nail Salon on Saturday, April 6:2019 for pedicures. The employees that did our pedicures were WONDERFUL!!! We would go back again. The unfortunate part of our experience was witnessing a disgruntled employee who had just get fired go into a tirade! She was swearing, making threatening comments along with breaking glass. None or the employees engaged in conversation with this employee which was the best thing to do but also I had to keep asking that mall security or the police be called. There should be a plan in place in case something like this were to ever happen again. Mall security should have been called immediately. My daughter videotaped the entire scene that took place and it saddened me that we had to witness this employee for 15 minutes with no one taking any action.

I have been going her a couple of years now and absolutely love the service . Shara(spell check) and Jason are great!! I have never left out disappointed.

Overpriced and very old thick nail polish in every bottle!!! I left without any polish for my hands and feet. They suggested I could pay a small fee for French tip or gel polish even though every selection of normal polish was garbage. I wish I knew the name of my nail tech she was great I blame the establishment. I will never go there again and I will do my best to spread the word for others not to go!!!!

Very disappointed in the service i received!! A week after i had my daughter and myself nails she already needed 2 repairs. Not even two weeks later shes needing four repairs!! I paid $108 for a balance w/gel polish and a full set w/gel polish!! First time going and my last!

This salon is not worth your time or money. I have given them multiple tries but they are just not a good business. Advertises that they do waxing but I have gone in multiple times to request this service and they say “the girl who does that did not come in today.” Then recently I had a pedicure and the oil they use stained my capris hours after pedicure was over. Huge stains from the knees down! When I went back to address with the manager he said it was not their fault as the oil should have dried within 10-15 minutes. Very poor customer service and I will never be back.

Beautiful place and great staff especially Trina if your getting a pedicure but Jason the manager is rude!!!! I absolutely detest his lack of customer service skills . This is the 3rd time I have made an appointment and when I arrive they are so busy my appointment gets thrown out with zero apology ! The staff usually seem scared to say something or willing to help but the owner Jason will shun any form of customer service. I will not spend a penny more with his business he has very poor mangangemt and service skills and I refuse to continue spending my money here. Don’t bother making an appointment because it doesn’t help as Jason said if someone requests a nail tech they are a priority over appointments lol I guess make sure you request someone to get seen . I never make reviews but I’m so disappointed with the poor service skills he has i think people need to know before they waste their time and money !!!!

I love this place so so much but since im a kid, im not the one the has to pay. i hear it is pretty overpriced. other than that, they did a great job on my nails and they are super sweet and they talk a lot to you (not people that talk too much.) They just kind of keep you not being bored while they do your nails. Some of the workers are also pretty cute/funny. My mom asked if her girl was pregnant (she obviously was) and she said no. Then she started laughing and said she does that to everyone that asks. so she was lol. i wouldve given this place 5 🌟 yet again, i do hear its overpriced. thanks for reading!!💜😇🤪

Waited 45 minutes to have them say we were next. Waited another 45 minutes, asked again, and they said we would have to wait. If they didnt have time, they could have told us that right away instead of wasting an hour and a half of our time. Very disappointing customer service.

Worst. Experience. EVER! I’ve never had a problem here in the two years I’ve been going. Today was just awful. Michael did my dio polish, and I had to point out things he wasn’t doing correctly along the way. My time was extended because he was on his phone often. My daughter and sister were with me as well; I asked for a manicure with regular polish for my 12 year old; the manager Jason kept insisting that I didn’t want her to have gel polish because I “didn’t want to pay for it” after I’d already said the service I chose for her was age-appropriate. The worst part of our day here was that my sister sat down at the same time I did and was left by a blonde worker for a half an hour soaking her dip polish off. We never saw her again. No one attended to her, or even asked any questions of her until I asked what the delay in her service was. Jason then says he “didn’t know she was receiving a service.” WHAT?? My sister was fed up by that point and we left without her nails getting done; she was charged $10 for the polish removal. 😒 The final straw of the “trip” was another customer inserting herself into the situation, becoming irate, and the manager and workers doing nothing to intervene. These people at Espés have shown zero professionalism and lackluster customer service. Shame on you!

I will never be returning here to get my nails done ever again. This was the most painful mani/pedi I ever received. The man that did my mani/pedi cut my nails so extremely short it cut the sensitive skin under my nail after telling him several times the nail was too short , he continued to try to cut down the nail. There was a point where I had to actually pull my hand away so he would not cut again. I was cut several times. Then once he started painting mid paint , he poured water or something in the nail polish. I’m sure that the nail polish here is not quality and It’s chipping a day later. Extremely disappointed.
