My daughter attended her first class on 11/10/18 it seemed to me as if she really enjoyed herself, but when I got her home and asked her did she like the place and would she like to go back her response to me was No because a little Caucasian girl told her that three other Caucasian girls said that she looked old because she was BROWN. Not quit the experience I was hoping for no child should feel like this regardless or their skin color it really saddens me that kids their age even think in that perspective it shows the true colors of the ones raising them no child is born racist but they are taught to think in such a negative way so with that being said the experience was horrible and I will not be sending my daughter back to that facility.

My daughter does gymnastics here in the 3-5 year old class, she has excelled so much that the coaches want her to move to the next stage early! I am so pleased with the way this facility runs, the coaches are fantastic and have an amazing amount of patience especially with the younger kids. Glad we chose this gymnastic academy!

Three of my four daughters have attended Sunrise Gymnastics Academy over the past 6 years. We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the gym. My daughters involvement at Sunrise has ranged from toddler & progressive classes to birthday parties and the competitive team. Gymnastics is the most disciplined and rewarding sport any of my girls have ever been involved in.

If you are looking for a place where the instructors seem more concerned about socializing with each other instead of actually teaching the kids, you found the right place. We had 1 class out of 7 that had an instructor who took control of the class instead of letting the kids run around doing whatever they wanted. Might be a nice place for some but we were hoping for more considering we heard great things about this place.12/7/15-Manager reached out to us apologizing for experience and mentioned she had spoken with the teachers in regards to the matter. Also refunded us for a month. This showed that they want to make sure they have a good reputation and we were impressed that they took into consideration our experience. Manager suggested we try another class there and we most likely will give it a try. Thanks for the great customer service.

My youngest daughter LOVES gymnastics. From the preschool program to progressive and now to team, she has done it all. The coaches and staff really care about their gymnasts. I am pleased with the coach to gymnast ratio, and they add new coaches as necessary to assure that their athletes are practicing with proper form and safety. I would like this review to be constructive, so I will also offer some suggestions. I like the way that the progressive levels are run, with charts an stickers to demonstrate which skills the kids have and which skills they need to level up. This needs to carry over to pre-team. It seems that a lot of gymnasts drop out at this point because they are unaware of what they need to achieve to receive an invitation to team. Pre-team is difficult because of the conditioning regimen and intensive skill work, which is great for the kids that are interested in taking their abilities to a higher level, unfortunately there is not a standardized means to communicate this with the kids or parents. As with progressive, the gym and gymnasts would benefit from a checklist or rubric showing what skills and characteristics need to be achieved to level up. At the team level, I also like to see the athletes given an opportunity to receive coaching in skills that are beyond their level if they are interested in trying. In my experience, I am seeing gymnasts doing skills at home that are out of level, but the coaching staff will not coach them on it in the gym. While I understand, the reasoning, it will not stop the kids from trying and Id like them to do it right rather than developing bad habits that will need to be broken when they reach the level requiring those skills. All-in-all, I am very happy with the instruction my daughter has received and and the amazing growth she has made over the past 6 years and I attribute that to the wonderful coaching.

This place afforded me the chance to compete NCAA Division 1 gymnastics for 4 years in college at the United States Air Force Academy. I owe a lot to the coaching staff and teammates that got me there!
