I am from out of state. I stopped by this shop with a problem with my a/c. They were able to fix my vehicle in a very quick manner. I talked with 2 guys that worked there. They were very professional and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone that has issues with their vehicle. I noticed they stayed very busy which means they do outstanding work. Came in for simple oil change and one car in front of me. They seemed more interesting in telling joke, walking around, and flipping each other the bird. So much for express, I have been waiting in the stall with my hood popped for 20 minutes before anyone spoke to me. I have been waiting for a total of 45 with just one car in front me. I have been here before and loved the service, I can not say the same for this experience. Very disappointing. I will be trying other places in town.

I attempted to get a simple oil change. The workers left me sitting behind a truck they knew was going to take a while. While i was sitting at least 4 other cars came in the other lanes and got oil changes. They could’ve moved me over but they didn’t and they never even came and said a word about why my wait was so long.

My son introduced me to Express Oil Change, and Ive been using them for a couple of years, now. The Starkville store staff is quick, courteous, and efficient. Always a good experience.

They charged me for someone elses repairs and left tools in my car. I had to go back up there to get it all sorted out and they couldnt figure out how to subtract the $ difference so they refunded it all and I got a $60 diagnostic test for free. I believe it was an honest mistake, as we are all afflicted with human error and told them so and thanked them. Moral of the story is... Check your receipt BEFORE leaving and know what youre being charged for.

I initially came in to get my tires rotated and my oil changed, but it turns out I needed new brake pads as well. I was hesitant to do so, as I don’t know much about cars, and I am a girl, so I’ve had people take advantage of that before. The men here were so willing to show and explain to me why I actually needed new ones and that it couldn’t wait. I am overly satisfied with my experience at Express Oil Change today.

They have great service with experienced mechanics. Twice I have had good service. Once for a quick oil change and on another occasion having a warning light for the abs checked. I plan on going back for both my car’s maintenance and to check out problems that I notice.

Lee the owner of Express Oil in Starkville is very professional. I’ve used this establishment for my oil change and tire changes and I’ve had a surplus of great experiences. The owner took it upon himself when an employee made a mistake and that’s hard to find nowadays. Been dealing with vibrations on my vehicle. Took it to two other repair shops and was told several different things that was wrong. However, each time my hard earned money was spent but I still had the same issues. I was at a store when I overheard a young man explaining to a young lady what probably was wrong with her vehicle. I waited and when he finished talking with her I asked him about my issues. He told me what he thought what it could be and asked me to bring it to the Express Oil Change and that he was the manager. I did so and they pulled my vehicle to the back. A Mechanic returned and told me that the universe joint was bad and he recommended that I should have both replaced instead of just the one. This was what the manager mentioned that the problem could be at the store the day before. Was not an expensive fix at all.

Go to this place to get your oil changed or buy new tires! They’re more than willing to help their customers and they will always remember you and your vehicle! They drove to my car to fix it so I could make it to their shop! Use these guys!

Up until today I have had no problems with this establishment. Today the mechanic with the initials RC and pitch by the name of JB were unprofessional and tried to take advantage of me for roughly $1000 dollars worth of repairs. They told me my serpentine belt was dry rotted and needed to be replaced (it was fine and still has 20k miles before even needing to be checked), my oil pan was gushing and needed to be replaced immediately (its a minor leak that is insignificant as long as I keep routine maintenance) and a plethora of problems that didnt exist. Always get second opinions and never let them take advantage of you. Definitely finding a new place.

Not only has this location been a blessing but this chain in general has been a life saver for me more than once. From oil changes, tire problems, to dead batteries they have always been able to help me and did it with a smile on their face. They are always quick and never try to sell me something I do not need which I appreciate. Today I was stuck at the sonic across the street with a car that wouldnt start. I called and briefly explained what was going on. Next thing I know one of the workers is crossing highway 12 to come check it out. It was a dead battery. He jump started my car and I headed across the street to get a new one. Thank you for always being willing to help and going above and beyond. You all have been a blessing to both me and my husband since we moved here. If you are new in town or just passing through and have any car issue or just need a quick oil change this is the place to go.

The place seems nice. The staff was nice. However they charged way to much. I had to leave to go somewhere else to get my brakes. The tried charging me almost $200 for 4 spark plugs. Just ridiculous.

The technicians and friendly and professional while servicing quickly without trying to oversell products and services. On one occasion of getting a standard oil change, the technician went above and beyond his responsibilities to identify an issue that car dealership service techs had missed twice! This is the place to go when you need prompt yet attentive service!

I needed an oil change for my daughter’s car. I called ahead and gave them the make/model of the vehicle in order to get the price of the oil change. When I get the receipt from my daughter, they had added $5 for a drain plug. I have had the oil changed in this car many times and we have never needed to replace a drain plug. My guess is they either damaged the drain plug when removing it or they add a drain plug to almost every oil change (especially the young female students that bring their cars in). I know it’s only $5 but I don’t like add ons.....especially when i am sure it wasn’t necessary. I will be checking my daughters car and there better be a new drain plug on it (or I will file a fraud complaint with the attorney generals office). Not happy!!

Very friendly staff. Quick oil change. I use high mileage oil in my car which usually means high prices but not this time. The young man that waited5 on me was real nice he was wearing his mask the correct was I rated it a 4 because I saw a couple of people going inside the place no mask and 1 black man that was changing oil was not wearing his mask the correct way his noses was not covered his mouth was half covered when he was talking to the people inside their car who didnt cover their face to talk to him and your waper blades was to expense I didnt kn it w I was going to have to pay 15.99 for both wipers, Im a senior citizens and I didnt expect to pay $78.08 for oil change Im on a budget I dont drive that much my car is a 2011 with a 150,540 Miles I had it for 1 year other than that Be Safe

They get the job done, but they charge exceptionally uncompetitive prices and are inflexible. They also heavily upsell, always attempting to add more and more repairs well before they are needed. Ive had a lot of experience with this, and Id highly recommend shopping around before resorting to express oil. The workers are friendly, but I think the business itself incentivizes this behavior, possibly training employees to engage in this obnoxious upselling.

Went this morning around 9 to get my oil change and was out before 10. Honest, nice workers. They explained everything they were doing and why, and as a new customer they gave me a discount! I normally only trust one place to take care of my car, but now that I live in Starkville I know where I will be going back to! Definitely recommend this business!

I was in a bad situation with my car. I needed a new tire ASAP and these guys were willing to work with me. Long story short I had to get my mom to travel two hours to come bring a tire since there were none available around the area (they of course offered to order one but I needed it quickly since i was out of town). My mom brings the tire to Tire Engineers and they ended up not charging us for our troubles! These guys are the best and so easy to work with!!

About 3 weeks ago i took my fiancees car here to get the shocks checked, it turned out they needed to be replaced, as well as two of the tires. The prices were fair and the work was done in a timely manner. Today i brought my car in for an oil change. In 30 minutes, oil was changed, lights were checked, and tires were aired up. Jason and his team did a fantastic job, and i expect i will be going back for all other repair needs i may have in the future.

We got two cars serviced there. First time for oil change + light bulb change (we brought the new light bulb). They had no idea how to change the light bulb (low beam) and ended up dropping the bulb so they had to get a new one. Then they forgot to re-plug the connector which carries electricity to the lights bloc and were wondering why it was not working... After a solid 45 minutes we were finally out. Second car was worse. They forgot to replace a washer during the oil change. When I noticed that my car was leaking some fluid I took it to a shop for diagnosis and they found out about the washer. So, my oil change ended up costing me an extra $90. I will never go back to this place. The only good thing is that the people who work there are nice, I enjoyed chatting with them while I was waiting on my car to be ready. Too bad they are so grossly incompetent.

I have been going to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers for over eight years. I have always received outstanding service and I only trust them to work on my car. I had a recent experience that almost made me reconsider where I took my business. My air was not working properly and a few test were run to see why my AC was not working. I paid for a part replacement and my AC worked fine. I took my car back two days later because my AC was blowing hot air once again. They looked at my car and determined there was a leak they did not notice the first time. I felt it was ridiculous to keep paying money because problems on the car werent noticed during the first test. I felt that I was continuously putting money into the service but nothing was truly fixed. I talked to the manager about my concerns and he was very kind and understanding. He gave me an awesome deal on the part as well as the labor cost. Im happy to say I take my car to a place where the management has integrity.

This is hands down, the best oil change service I had. The Technician named Court was very knowledgeable about cars and really explained to me everything that he did in my service. He took his time, but I was out in less than 12 minutes. The staff was very friendly and courteous and Court talked to me about the mechanical services that Express Oil Change does. I will most definitely come back for my tune up!! I recommend this place to everybody. You have the option to stay in your car or go in the waiting room. The waiting room was very clean. I was very surprised to see that the restroom was immaculate. I could tell that they care about their customers.
