I dropped my TV off for a free diagnosis at 11AM, Paul had my TV fixed before 5pm the same day. I ended up needing a couple boards replaced in my Samsung Plasma and it cost less than $200 for the repairs. I couldnt ask for a better, quicker, or more reasonably priced repair service. About a year ago my TV display went out and I bought a new TV. After taking my old TV into PWS... They indicated to me that it could be fixed for a great price. Went back two days later to pick up. Low and behold... The TV is working a year later as it did prior to the display going out. I returned the new TV I purchased and kept the fixed one. Great place to get your tv repaired. They offered a free diagnosis and estimated costs. Called after the diagnosis of the problem and it was a couple bucks under the estimate and they had the parts on hand. Could not have been easier to get it fixed for a fifth the cost of a new tv.

I cant recommend this guy enough.I have a 2008 Samsung VIERA. The plasma screen is 100% money but I was having trouble with it powering up.It gave me 10 red blinking lights when I tried to turn it on, which means, after about 10 seconds of YouTube research, that there is either an over amp or under amp issue.You could hear the TV start and shut down.FYI, 7 blinking lights means that the TV control circuit board is broken or damaged.I could buy a new TV for a 10th of the price I paid for it in 2008 but all that plastic and a perfect monitor goes in the dump.I called Paul, supper nice on the phone. I old him what I thought the problem was, and he told me to bring it in. Hes right off Braddock Rd, right outside the Beltway.The place looks like a TV graveyard... there are literally TVs in every inch of the place and I was worried that the TV would get lost and he would call me back in a future year. But you gotta trust..Next day he texts me, tells me all it needs a new power board, and will cost $200 to take it apart, install the part and test. It was fixed the next day. no extra costs.I went to pick it up the next day, and I forgot my wallet! He just told me to call once I got home. Hes OG, doesnt take Venmo or Paypal.He can do home repairs and pickups, but its a lot more expensive, he told me.

They were very friendly and professional! Paul checked out what was going on with my TV on the same day I dropped it off. Then by the end of the very next day I got my TV fixed and was good as new! Paul is a professional. He fixed my TV in a very short time. They also dont charge you if they dont have to. At one time my TV started working properly as soon as they opened it up. They informed me that the TV was good to go and there is no charge since they did nothing to it. I love this guys.

The staff is amazing. They helped me bring in my TV from the car, took my information in a professional manner, and promised to call me asap. I think it took 2 days max, I think. The issue was explained in a simple, helpful way, with reasonable repair options. The work was finished earlier than promised, and I have had no trouble since - the TV is as good as new!

We had a 50 inch Philips television go bad. Brought it into the store and found out it was a circuit board that had worn out. Got a replacement part and repaired the television for a very reasonable price. Much better than replacement cost had we needed to buy a new one. Would highly suggest bringing a broken tv here for the free inspection and quote before buying a new tv.

Very fast and knowledgeable! My plasma TV wouldnt turn on so I called them at 11am and described the symptoms and they said they had the replacement parts in stock. They came out at 1:15pm and by 2:30pm the TV was back up and running!

My Vizio tv had suddenly stopped powering on for whatever reason. So, after letting it lye dormant in the corner for more than eight months I decided to look into it being repaired.After reading the reviews of other suspect repair shops I decided to have it repaired at PWS. Well, I brought it in and it just powered on; no issues at all for Paul. Paul still said he wanted to run some test to see what the issue could be with my tv.I called, Paul about a week later and he said my Vizio powered on and off for them every day it was in their care and that I could come pick it up when I was ready. I arrived to retrieve my tv, thinking it would be some charge. Paul says, since they didn’t have to repair anything he wasn’t charging me anything.This review I’m writing speaks on the integrity of Paul because he could have easily lied to my face and said he repaired this part and that issue. And this is the charge for my services. And if it stops working just bring it back. But the thing is....he didn’t!!! This guy was very honest. Thanks Paul!!!

The PWS guys are awesome! I had a plasma TV that my insurance company said could not be fixed. I called PWS and they sent Daryl over who determined it was the main logic board. They ordered the part and brought it over but it didnt work. They took the TV to their shop at no additional charge, determined that the logic board they put in was defective. They got a working logic board got it working and brought it back to the house. Everything is working perfectly and I am super happy I dont have to give up my plasma. Thanks guys!

Called Paul on Tuesday about my 82 DLP by Mitusubishi needing a new lamp. He immediately scheduled an appointment for me for Friday morning. I did a fair amount of research to find an electronic repair shop in the area that was recommended, and I was very happy with the service I received here. Paul was extremely friendly and personable, and called me back promptly once the problem had been diagnosed. To be honest, it took a little longer for the repair than I expected, but then again the TV I brought in is an industrial commercial unit so Im sure thats why it took a while for the needed part to arrive.Over all a really great experience; I will definitely return if I have further need of their services, even though its about 30 minutes away from me. You wont be disappointed with PWS Electronics!

I brought my TCL Roku Smart TV to Paul for diagnosis after the video died. He was able to diagnose the problem within a day of dropping it off. Unfortunately the problem wasnt completely clear and hed have to order a part to test out to see if that would fix the problem. He offered to do this and only charge me if it worked (potentially eating the cost of the part himself!). Luckily it worked and now my TV works perfectly. It was a lot more reasonable to pay for Pauls repairs rather than buying a new TV. Highly recommended.

First class, FAST service! My service technician was Paul. I had a 42 in Toshiba flat screen that had gone through a power surge and stopped working. I didnt have that TV a year! Needless to say I wasnt ready to let it go! I called, PWS got right back to me and Paul had my TV up and running in a matter of days. Not to mention the cost was OUTSTANDING! Consider PWS before you come out of pocket to buy a new TV.... seriously!

Just got my 42”LG TV back from PWS Electronics today and I gotta say...WOW! I thought that kind of customer service had gone extinct years ago!! I would recommend PWS to all my family and friends because...These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, fair, affordable and just plain, “Nice”! Can you imagine?!NO carrying my bulky set around a big box store looking for customer service, NO standing in a long line waiting for someone to show up who can help, NO dealing with some untrained kid who would rather be on his phone rt now than helping me, NO sending my set off to some annonimous repair facility for 6wks, waiting for an estimate I can’t afford.The second I entered his shop, Paul greeted me with a smile, introducing himself by name. A minute later he had wrestled my TV out of my backseat, carried it inside and placed it on his counter. Somehow, he got my TV to turn on. Something I’d been trying to make happen for 3 days! We agreed he would keep it running to see if it would suddenly shut off, as it had before. Two days later I got a call from Paul saying he couldn’t find any problems and it was still working fine. He gave me the option at this point to “crack” the back open and look inside. Two cool things about PWS... if they can’t find a problem there is No Charge and if you take your TV into their shop instead of asking for a house call, they wave the estimate fee! A day later Paul called again to let me know he still hadn’t found an actual problem but in his words, “someone must have had a bad day at the factory”, because ALL the retaining screws on All the components inside were loose and a bit dusty. He gave me two choices... Close up the back and “call it a day”, No Charge... or, tighten up all the screws inside and vacuum out the dust, for which I would pay 1/2hr labor.I was Amazed and more than willing to pay such a nominal fee for all they did!I should tell you... I’ve worked in customer service for over 20yrs and for 14 of those yrs I worked at the receiving desk of a repair facility. These guys are the definition of Customer Service and this is the first time I have ever gotten the kind of service for myself, that I provide my own customers.Qudos a congratulations to all the guys at PWS for a Great Job, above and beyond...

It is really hard to find people who actual can repair electronics nowadays. After my Samsung HD kept cycling on and off I was convinced I was in for a costly replacement, but I called the few repair shops I could find in DC area (not that many!) to see whether it was worth trying to fix. PWS was the only shop to return my inquiry call promptly (and pleasantly), they provided me with a free repair estimate when I brought the TV in, and it was fixed within a week. The repair cost was very reasonable, especially in comparison to replacing the TV.I didnt write a review at the time, but should have, over a year later TV is still working great. Highly recommend this shop.

The last honest repair man!!! I brought in my Sony TV to be fixed. Ken did the research and discovered it was a recall issue. He printed the recall notice and directed me to a Sony repair shop. Refused to take my money. I brought him my other Samsung TV. He worked on the tv for a full week. Ken could not find the problem and the tv works fine. Refused to take my money. I am going to physically break an electronic just so I can pay the man.

I got a good service and the price was fair, honest people, I would advise everyone to work with them.

Great customer service experience. Vizio TV problem. I called Vizio and was told it would cost $330 to fix and $75 for them to tell me that it couldnt be fixed. I was not happy at all with Vizios customer service.Paul was great. No charge for diagnostics and much lower cost than Vizios estimate to fix. Highly recommend.

Paul was almost able to diagnose my tv problem over the phone. I took it in and he quickly confirmed the problem. He discussed the issue that the part my tv needed was discontinued but might still be possible to find. The problem was that it could take a while to find. After checking back to see if there was any hope,(8 months), no luck. Almost a year to date he called me with good news, part found tv fixed. Now to see how long the tv lasts, its going in my garage. I felt the cost was reasonable and customer service excellent. He also gave me credit for an on line coupon to lower the cost. Definitely will use again if needed.

My T.V had a problem with it not turning on, I gave it to PWS and they said it would take a couple of days to fix, two weeks later i called them and they said it will be done soon. It took them 3 weeks to fix it and the price was ridiculous...Would not reccomend.
