This place was a lot better when Kaylyn was here. Ive had nothing but issues since she left. I found her at a different office and moved my policies over there. Surprisingly she only had good things to say about this office, which goes to show how good of a person she is as this office had nothing nice to say about her when I asked. I dont know that anyone should trust their insurance with a group of people who talk badly about ex employees to their customers. It says a lot about their character.

Rod suggested a review of my existing insurance with the possibility of reducing cost and matching or improving coverage. Why NOT, I thought!He reviewed my policies and told me he could NOT improve on what I had.No hard sell or push to change. NOW this is an honest guy!

I was helping my sister get a quote, she worked with a guy named Larry, I would give him no stars if I could.The price was decent, but when he called to talk to her about the quote she had him on speaker phone He talked about a woman in the office messing up billing information that caused issues for his own insurance and the other agents cant handle complicated policies as well as he can. My sister only has a one speeding ticket I never thought that would be a complicated thing for an insurance agent. It just rubbed us wrong. We chose not to purchase the policy because of his comments. I am writing this review so he can learn what to say to potential customer, and what not say. My sister did not appreciate being told her one speeding ticket made her a complication.

Rod has handled our insurance needs for a number of years. Every time we had a question he was available for us and gave us great advice. He easily helped us through the maze of signing up for Medicare and getting the best additional coverage plans for us.

I did not feel like going through Rod Dunlap agency made anything any easier than looking into insurance myself. There had been at least three occasions where I had called to ask to check into lower rates because of changes to my policy, tickets fell off or I purchased more vehicles. Not one of the times that I asked to check rates did I ever get a call back for follow up to tell me about it. That is also why I dropped Rod Dunlap and did it myself instead. Service was not great.

I have had two policies through Rod Dunlap Insurance/Progressive for the last 2-3 years. One was a boat policy and the other was a truck policy. When these policies came due, I renewed the boat policy but not the truck policy because our truck was no longer functional. I sent the payment through online banking with a memo for boat policy. They applied it to the truck policy, and now are unwilling to transfer the funds to the boat policy despite my explaining the error. The amount paid was exactly what was due for the boat policy, and did not match the truck policy at all. I also spoke with someone on the phone to cancel the truck policy, so it should not have been applied to the truck. I will not be working with this company in the future.

I called after hours. I had been in an accident. Someone didnt just answer, they went out of their way to get me the information I needed. Over the years, they havent just provided insurance, theyve earned my business.

Kaylin was very helpfull and stayed on top of things when i bought a new car and had to add to my policy even with chamging over policies at the same time. Kept me informed of what was going on all the time.

Called to ask why my rate went up when I got my renewal bill. The lady was rude and told me they don’t know why the bill went up and they can’t do anything about it. If you are who I have my policy with you’d think you know why my bill went up?? I had to call Progressive directly to get a legitimate answer and I won’t be doing business with Rod Dunlap’s office anymore.

First off, if you need insurance you need to go here. The staff is always welcoming and even if your specific agent isn’t available, the women at the front desk always do whatever they can for you.Secondly, go and ask for Kaylin. She’s not even my agent, technically Kris is and he’s great too. But Kaylin is one of those rare ones that calls you back, and if she doesn’t have the answer she will call the company or get Rod the owner involved just to make sure you are given the proper information.We had a complicated claim and the claims adjuster said it was starting to look like we were at fault. Kaylin took the time to pull up on google maps where the accident took place, where my car was, where the other persons car was, and drew on the map exactly which way we were each traveling, and where the actual impact happened. Then she called the adjuster herself and explained in insurance lingo the chain of events. The next day the adjuster called me and told me between what I was saying and what the other guy was saying it didn’t make much sense but after talking to Kaylin and seeing exactly where on the road the other guy turned and hit us, it was obvious he was at fault. My car was fixed, I got a rental car, and Kaylin called me to make sure everything was taken care of properly.I’ve never met an agent who legitimately cares about customers the way Kaylin does. And she’s a mom too, so she understands family concerns and needs and even offered me some careseat advice lolNo matter who you work with in the office you will be well taken care of. I just know moving forward, Kaylin is who I will call and who I will refer all my family and friends to!
