Best apartment for the price. Great interior, painted walls, feels spacious. Guests thinks it costs more than it really does. Right next to a park as well and has a sizeable dog park

Ive lived at The Villages for the past 3.5 years after having to quickly move out of an exs place.Sabrina, and the others in the office were quick and responsive to help me get settled swiftly.Moved into a Studio apartment with a rear view. The place is amazing for its cost. One of few apartments in SGF that have studios with a W/D connection. Pet friendly. A very short walk to Nathanael Greene Park and several walking trails. Loved living here.I did have some issues here and there, primarily with my car and parking. My (new) car did get scratched, door dinged, and someone even wiped tar on my front bumper but I guess thats apartment living. My real criticism for not giving 5* is the fact that parking is so limited. Its one thing to park two buildings away on a nice, cool evening but a different story when its snowing/raining/hot. May suggest better attention to tenants and their number of vehicles to guarantee everyone has a spot close or maybe a larger parking lot.Otherwise The Villages is a great living experience and definitely would recommend to family and friends!

I lived at these apartments from 06/2017 until 12/2020. Through this time I lived in a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment. The apartments themselves are very nice, they are large with a lot of storage space, a large balcony, and a large laundry/pantry area. During this time we had no real maintenance issues, I think we just utilized that service for two minor things and they always came right out that next business day and got it fixed with no issues. The apartments have a nice outdoor pool that always appears well taken care of and a small fitness area (if youre one who wants to do anymore than walk on a treadmill then this isnt the fitness room for you, I had to keep my gym membership). Its situated close to a beautiful park and the grounds of these apartments are always very well cared for and maintained. When I first moved in, I believe the apartments were under a different ownership than it is currently. We started having minor (mainly just annoying) problems after the ownership changed hands. Minor things like apartment staff needing access to come into peoples apartments multiple times in a year (checking fire extinguishers, apartment checks to make sure youre following rules, checking fire alarms, checking furnace filters, etc). While I am happy that they want to make sure their apartments are kept in order, I wish that they would consolidate all of that into just checking peoples apartments once or twice per year rather than multiple times. I am a hospital worker who day sleeps so this was always so inconvenient to me.They do advertise that the apartments have a dog park which is only true during the dry season as their dog park is pretty much a swamp immediately after it rains since its a depressed area in the ground that keeps rain water from flooding the apartment buildings. There is incredibly limited parking spots. They honestly need to start enforcing a rule about how many cars can be owned by tenants because by the time I left cars would just be stacked up around where the mailboxes are which would make it incredibly hard to back out of your parking spot without slamming into another vehicle. It was always a little chaotic to have to go to the office for things like picking up a package, asking questions, etc. There seems to be only one guy who is really the head of these apartment buildings with a few people working along side him. The people who work alongside him never know what theyre doing and youll get a different answer from each different person. Not to mention that they have their own kids and pets running around everywhere instead of treating it like their work place.Overall, I would recommend any person to live at the villages, its clean and well maintained, I never felt in danger while living there. The amenities are nice and taken care of. Hopefully they can work out the few shortcomings they have.

I never rented from them, but I visited my friends here often and wow what an impressive property/apartments! You can tell they truly care and work hard to keep their tenants happy and healthy.I love their rooms, huge bedrooms and big closets!Very clean and updated apartments! If I had a chance to move here I would definitely do it in a heart beat, they are awesome from what I know!Only down side was their pet policy, they don’t allow dogs in my friends apartment but they do in other buildings with smoking also. Who wants to have those two combinations? I don’t think that makes much sense in terms of ease or practicality for many people, but again overall a great place to check out!

Great apartments. Lived here for about three years and never had problems. Neighbors are quiet for the most part, and the apartments are well maintained. The office was always super helpful with whatever I need. Maintenance was carried out consistently within a couple days of placing the request. And oh my gosh, I loved living right next door to the Botanical Gardens!

I’ve only lived here for a few weeks but have nothing but good things to say. Anita in the front office was so helpful with finding a place that worked for us and the time we needed, honestly everybody Ive spoke with in the front office has been helpful and so kind.We had some issues with our carpet not being done correctly that we noticed after we moved in and they have been very apologetic and got it fixed as quickly as we could. I didn’t mark it on the move inform because this is my first time renting by myself and thought the carpet was supposed to look like that (lol whoops), but when I noticed a bubble the man who came in and repaired it told me we needed to let them know about the rest of the carpet.I mentioned to the office not being completely comfortable with people just coming in when nobody was here and they didn’t make me feel like a nuisance for this. Instead they offered to send a maintenance worker with the carpet crew to have some kind of other presence there for me since my work scheduleis right when they would need to come. Like I said we’ve only been here a few weeks, I noticed it two weeks ago and within those two weeks I’ve had people here to fix it with in a few days. Also to add these apartments are gorgeous, spacious and peaceful, I feel safe in the area and I am so happy we chose this place.

Havent lived here long but this place is amazing! Constant events for the residents, everyone is ridiculously friendly, large dog park (could use a new table but it thats the only issue thats pretty minute), maintenance is ALWAYS on top of things you dont have to wait more than a day or two for things to get done, and the apartments are so energy efficient my electric bill was cut in half when I moved here in the middle of August. Do wish the pool was open until the first day fall instead of labor day but once again thats a minor thing. Overall a truly an great place to live.

This is my second review but felt that the wonderful staff and community of neighbors in the complex needed recognition. I unfortunately had my purse stolen from my car in the night and before I had even known about it a neighbor had called and reported it to the office and the staff was so proactive in helping me get a game plan for what to do. They really went above and beyond with the support and help needed in a crazy time for me! Not only just help on the business side of things but personally they helped me figure out what I can do to handle the situation. Truly an amazing staff that I’m forever grateful for!

I would like to thank Lacey and Sabrina for always being so helpfully and as excited as I was to move in!!!Coming from being a home owner of a larger house to an apartment I still can’t get over the spacious rooms and storage, and that I had no problems in arranging all my belongings into a lovely home for myself. All the tenants I have met are so nice, and the grounds so well kept, add in the pool and it’s as if I’m on a permanent vacation

This is my first apartment and I have had nothing but AMAZING help throughout the whole process. I have had lot of questions and some unexpected changes but Lacey and Sabrina have been huge life savers and so patient with all that I needed. They are by far the best staff that I have worked with. They truly take the time to understand what your needs and wants are and accommodate them. I am so excited to move in and couldnt be anymore thankful for the wonderful service that I have received. Highly recommend!

Ive lived here for 5 years. The location is perfect for me because Im close to anywhere I want without having to be living on a busy, noisy road. The gym is large for an apartment community, theyre pet friendly (which is a big deal to me), and the staff is very kind. The best features of the apartment are the huge pantry/laundry room and the closet sizes. They are putting a fence in around the property which solves any security issues. Obviously I love living here because Ive been here so long. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a good floor plan at a fair price, then Id recommend checking this place out.

Not worth the price. We thought it was a good deal for a one bedroom because of the sq ft, but it doesn’t make up for the poorly insulated windows, thin exterior walls, & lazy maintenance. Our air conditioning went out in the middle of summer within one week after move in and two more times after that. It seemed to be a freon leak, but it was never permanently fixed. The are pet friendly, but the “dog park” floods with water when it rains. They kindly provide pet waste bags, but NO CANS to throw away the stinky bag. We have to walk to the dumpster by the next apartment building. What they lack in building construction, pet friendliness, and management, they make up for with well maintained landscaping and a wonderful view of the prison hospital.

I love this apartment. Very big and roomy. Staff are all quite nice. When we moved in, the apt. could not have been cleaner. Lovely details in apt. Nice neighbors. Move to another state and see what you will pay for this quality. HA! So, if you live here....be happy. The only negative thing that I would say is that the outside walls are a little thin. But thats ok. Nothing is perfect.

I have lived here for a year and really loved it. Im moving for a job to another city, but I wish I could pick up this complex and take it with me! Ive been in one of the the townhomes, and it was perfect. The only thing Ive ever had issues with is that the upstairs is usually 3-5 degrees warmer or cooler than the downstairs depending on the season. But every other townhome Ive been in has been like that too, and you just learn how to adapt. My electricity bills have always been reasonable. The complex and the interiors are well kept, and I havent had any significant maintenance issues. My minor issues have been handled (usually within a day) and completely resolved. I never felt concerned about the maintenance crew coming in while I was at work, and they always keep things tidy. A close friend of mine lives in the apartments, and I can say that all the same praise applies to those spaces as well. The staff have always been friendly, and Im very sorry to have to leave such a wonderful living experience.

The apartments are okay. Dont come with washer and dryer. Is not a gated community. Has the big park right behind but also shares a boundary with county jail or something... The community opposite this one across the road seemed down trodden. The apartments seemed a little dark as well.

This is the BEST apartment complex I have EVER stated in! When you ask for something to be fixed (hardly ever), they have it fixed within 24 hours! This complex is under great management. Everyone down at the office is really nice and helpful. They DONT tolerate noisy or disrespectful neighbors. They have security patrolling after dark. They also have UNLIMITED and FAST internet for free. I RECOMEND LIVING HERE! It feels like vacation at home!

While the apartments seem decent, a fair warning for those applying here: if you pay the large down payment and the lease doesnt go through for any reason, you will NOT be getting your money back for possibly 30 days despite them taking your money right away. I find this to be highly unprofessional and flat-out greedy.

The apartment is great and the grounds are well kept however, my daughter has been in her apartment there for over a year now and the internet is out most of the time. We (I say we because my daughter, my wife, my daughters room mate and I) all have spent lots of time on the phone to either Nathanael Greene staff or tech support with the ISP trying to figure out what the issue is. The villages staff will apologize for the inconvenience but are quick to remind us that the internet is not part of the official package but merely a value added service provided as a courtesy. I have a copy of their flyer, and the way free internet is prominently displayed, I wonder if their claim would hold up in a court of law. The tech support with the ISP has the worst customer service attitude we have ever experienced. My daughter has spent more time on campus working on her studies than in her own apartment which seems pretty silly. If a reliable internet connection is an important part of what youre looking for, pass on signing a lease here, because youll be wasting your time. That value added service they provide as a courtesy is quite frustrating.

Plan on paying for your own internet.Long story short, the staff are very friendly and great, the apartments are very nice and the grounds are immaculate for the most part. The prices are good and compare well with other complexes. But if reliable internet is even in the top 10 most important things for you, live somewhere else. The internet here is so bad, so unreliable, so slow that it borders on breach of contract and false advertising. They provide free internet but I had better and more reliable internet in the 90s with dialup. Its supposedly 5mbps but when it actually does work (~50% of the time), Ive never had more than 2mbps (that is being generous as its usually less than 1mbps) which as a student, is extremely frustrating. Im a very tech savvy person who has done a lot to try to make it better including buying one of the most powerful routers on the market. We are currently on consecutive day four of no internet and its not even the first time its happened this month. After two years of living here, I had no other choice but to pay for it through a local ISP.The apartment as a whole is good, but they continually switch between ISPs who are either inept or unable to provide even the most basic service. During my lease, there have been multiple providers, all of which have been awful so Im not sure if the complex picks the worst ones to save money or what, but be warned.I feel bad writing a negative review because its not the fault of the staff on site but internet is crucial to me as a student as well as to friends I have in the complex and the apartment just simply doesnt deliver it, though they claim to.If youre cool adding on $50-70 to your rent to have a different ISP, its a great place to live.
