Quick service and friendly staff. Patched a tire for me when 3 other tire shops in the area couldnt accommodate for various reasons. Happy I found them.

(As a first timer I was skeptical, but by the time they were done I was provided a Top notch service in the best time I have ever seen. Great service, I highly recommend this place)In complete fairness, I have decided to leave above my first review of the job the mechanic did on my tire 2 weeks ago. Having said this, it is very painful for me to be back 2 weeks later to edit my review of this company. Barely a day after my repairs, I started hearing this clink sounds somewhere behind my car and I never paid attention to it because I had thought it was nothing. Few days later, I could still hear the noise, and I naturally found excuse for the noise since it wasnt a steady noise, so I told myself it must be that the tools that was used to lower the extra tire wasnt placed back correctly. After this sound became increasingly obvious even after I had checked that all tools were placed back correctly, and even lower/put up the extra tire myself to be sure that wasnt where the sound was coming from, I still could hear this clink when I drove.. By this time after several days of driving, I knew I needed to professionally check it out, and I now could hear the noise was coming from the rear end tire. This is where Gordy Tire had worked on I said to myself, could this be coincidence? I decide to drive in after couple more days due to the nature of my Job, and they took a look at the car by jerking it up on the floor and deduced right there it was a break issue related problem and told me I would have to pay about $140 to get it fixed, which at the point I didnt have. I decide to call Jason back the next day to see what he could offer since I felt they could have been more willing or responsible for the issue at hand, but by the time I mentioned that they had worked on the tire where the sound was coming from, he went completely nuts! said he never wanted my business and he cut the phone on me.This of cause got me upset that why wouldnt he be willing to bring down the tire to take a look at properly since they worked on it? instead he wanted me to pay for what he presumed the problem was! I went back there the following day, but before that I had decided I was going to take the car to my dealerships to fix whatever the issue was since I was now not happy with the way I was treated on phone. My dealership had suggested I took it back to Gordy since they worked on the tire, but I knew I didnt want them touching my car ever again. After leaving my dealership with the issue (a long iron rod left in my tire by Gordy) fixed, I decided to pay them a visit to let them know how disappointed I was at their handling a simple issue such as this, and also to let them see what the problem had been i.e. the rod they accidentally left in my tire. On getting there, I decided I was going to ask them to at least take a look at the tire to see what their response would be; I was disappointed because I was met with the same treatment I received on phone and this time with the owner of the company present! He kept saying we dont want your business and asked me to leave all because I asked that my tire be properly looked at since they worked on it. All these while Jason was yelling and threatening to call the police and actually did. The owner then said they never worked on the car that they only worked on my tire, but that since they diagnosed the issue to be something to be worked on the car, I have to pay the money or leave. All these not knowing what I know because I have had the car fixed and I know for sure it wasnt anything that had to do with what they diagnosed the previous day, which begs the question, are these people incompetent diagnosing issues? or do they reap people off knowingly? because it has to be one of each on this issue not knowing what I knew then. Anyways I have been told not to step on their property ever again and take it up with the civil court if I so wish. The owner also stated that i should not write a review on them online in the presence of the cop, which i am glad he objected to. Terrible management!!!

I went in to get new front and back brakes after getting a high quote from the dealership. Not only did I save over $200 but my car was dropped off in the evening and fixed first thing in the morning. They even let me borrow an umbrella to walk less than a mile home that evening. I drive everyday for work, in the crazy ATL traffic, and thanks to this shop my brake game is strong!

Lawrence and company have been taking care of my families automobiles for about 17 years. They always do a great job at a very fair price. Additionally they never try sell me things my car does not need or make repairs that are not needed. I will continue to go to Gordy tire in the future for auto maintenance needs. Marcus Mills.

Did a good job on the brakes, were reasonable on pricing though the work was pretty substantial. Definitely will be back for any of that sort of repair.

This place is right down the street from me. I’ve been there a few times and there are just so incredibly nice. Not to mention prices are more than fair. Worked with Gary this last time and he was absolutely wonderful! Would definitely recommend!

These guys are the best. Been going there for years and seen Jason, the main man, rise to his new position. He is honest and really knows his stuff. I will not take my car anywhere else because I feel as though I have always been treated kindly and fairly. My wife feels comfortable going there because she knows they will not try to over sell her on services she doesnt need the way other local places have done. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hello to all! Purchased 2 new tires for my truck for a decent price. Although my wheels looked horrible after they reinstalled them from smudging the brake dust everything was fine. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful! Went and played golf down the road and came back to a truck with two new front tires! Thanks!

Have had a few things done here and am always pleased with the price and the work. They always call and let you know what theyve found before doing the job. Great staff, free coffee and really convenient.

Sometimes I call Gordys just to see if they offer the service Im looking for since they are a block away. And they are ALWAYS helpful and once I had to leave my car there for a few days waiting to get it towed to another place and they were totally cool about it. ANOTHER TIME I was having thermostat issues (unknown at the time what was the issue) and they helped me by cleaning out my reservoir tank (on their own) because they said it was sludgy inside. Replaced the coolant and sent me on my way NO CHARGE. So yeah, I still call and bug them for help and answers!

I stopped at this place after visiting a tire shop right down the street. Walked in and got a tire quote that was almost a hundred bucks cheaper than the other place! Will was professional and nice, and the service was super fast! GO TO GORDYS!!!

Ive been taking our cars to Gordy since we move to Smyrna a few years back. Tried a few shops before landing at Gordy. I recommend them to everyone. Never had a problem with the up sale or hidden charges. Theyve always been upfront and the turn around is great.

Used my Groupon deal for oil change and brake inspection last week after waiting a week for appointment. The service was good, but took about an hour in total. (Sears also had taken same time before.)Had to pay 3 bucks for disposal fees. The supervisor was honest in telling me the conditions of the rotors, front and rear brakes and offered good quote for further service. Will go there again for next service.

Remember, you get what you pay for. I wouldnt recommend for high end or luxury vehicles which would require skilled knowledgeable technicians. I ended paying $260 additional (thats about 75% more) to get the job done right somewhere else. They also Do NOT honor appointments so you may end up wasting your day/trip/time like I did.Update... The certified technicians revealed to me that Gordy did not put on all the hardware that I paid for. VERY BAD. Now I have to have the entire job re-done...this actually turns out to be 153% more than I paid. Basically I have to repay soneonelse to do the same Job and extra.I do not recommend this shop.

I absolutely would never recommend any other shop BUT Gordy Tire...They will always be honest with you about the services you need and dont need! The mechanics and oil guys are so nice and last but CERTAINLY not least the manager , Jason has the most best customer service I have ever encountered when it comes to needed car maintenance.. every time I have gone there he greets me and others by name. He is so polite and just makes everyone feel as if were family and Ive also seen him get up underneath the hood of he needs to. Like I said, when anyone ever has an issue with their car , without even asking I say you need to go to Gordy Tire on windy hill, they will take care of you I promise.Anyone who has had car/truck problems know that it can be a headache and are always afraid of getting ripped off. But never EVERRRR would I even dare to worry about that when it comes to getting service from Jason and his team! Best in cobb county hands down!!!!

I had my brakes done here. Not only did they forget to put two of the bolts back on but they put the wrong brakes on as well. Just 6 months after the service I had to get the job done right. Money wasted!

I am so thankful to Gordy Auto Repair & Tire 🤩I had initially gone to another place to have my tire checked out and was given a run-around. I went back to Google search, and found Gordy Tire. I was very pleased with the reviews, called them right away. The gentleman said I could come on in- I was able to make it before closing time. Let me tell you, these guys are honest, courteous, and fast... there was a tiny screw in my tire causing it to leak. Thank goodness I was able to get it plugged. When the time comes to purchase new tires I will most definitely be going back to Gordy Auto Repair & Tires!!P.S. They have a jar on the counter with nails, screw, and metal - I got a kick out of dropping the little screw in the collection jar 😁
