Store extremely picked over. 12th street location. Getting tired of it being this way but only place for affordable supplies

This might be the largest and best dollar store Ive been to. Its also by far the cleanest.

Still requires masks even if you are vaccinated. NOPE!! Poorly managed.

Woman working the South Minnesota store at night on 9/28/21 was continues rude and is always that way if they dont straighten her out or fire her I will not be shopping at any of their locations!!!

Christina was very helpful. I needed 18 balloons for a birthday. She took me over there and I picked out my balloons. Shes very personable.

I love shipping at Dollar Tree. They always have something new. Theres really nice seasonal decor and the craft section is always improving. And the fact that everything is $1 is the icing on the cake.

I utilized this place during a period in my life where my finances went to debt first. I learned a lot by using dollar tree for as much of my needs as possible while also learning to cut back on what I need to get by. There selection most days is exceptional and the price for everything speaks volume. Will most likely continue to utilize this place for along time. Superior and affordable.

I guess its true ya get what ya pay for because you always get the WORST service here!! They never have enough cashiers & the ones they do have always take forever. I dont really shop here myself, the boyfriend wanted to stop in for something. Theres just really nothing to recommend the place except that everythings a dollar I guess. But to be honest, with the difficult location of the corner of 41st Street & Minnesota Avenue & such poor service, Ill just go elsewhere & pay more.

Masks are required to shop in the nice big clean store where everything is just $1.00+ tax

Usually can find a $1.00 version of the more expensive item.

Terrible place.I walked out.Found 2 small items.There were 3 checkouts open with about 10 in each line.The wasnt moving.I decided to put my stuff back & left.Very disappointed with merchandise,seemed really junkie.I prefer Dollar General any day.

Its very organized and it doesnt take long to shop.

The staff at this location is incredibly rude and disrespectful. One employee tells you something and another employee tells you something else. They are not helpful at all. If I could give a 0 star rating I would! I will NOT be returning to this location and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this awful experience.I will be shopping at the 12th St location from here on out, they are actually nice and incredibly helpful. I suggest that everyone else do the same!

I come here often and love the products and store. Lines are LONG and I KID YOU NOT was in line and this rude “whatever attitude” cashier was texting on his phone! And barely scanning items. Come here but prepare for the dirty bathrooms and customer service. Still cheap! (His name is Adam)

Merchandise spread throughout the store in the wrong places and on the floor. This is a good place to run in and get something simple if you know what you are looking for. Cheap Hallmark brand cards, gift wrapping/bags, and party supplies.

Pretty awesome....larger party supply section than 41st location. Bonus is close location to movie theater, Target, Burlington Famous Footwear, Cherry Berry. Negative...feels a little far out.

Im extremely dissapointed in the lack of inclusion and straight up prejudice that was just demonstrated at this location. My boyfriend was waiting in line to check out,the line was pretty full so an employee came and opened a second register to accommodate the line, after watchin a few people go into line 2 my boyfriend proceeded to go over to the 2nd line bc it was moving faster and as he approached the register the employee stated this register is no longer open so without complaint he went back to the 1st line. After he returned to the other line, someone else went to line 2 and the employee served that customer with no hesitation. I shouldnt even have to mention this, but my boyfriend happens to be black and everyone else in line was white. This is 2019 people. Your company obviously lacks the needed diversity and inclusion training of basic morals and respect.

Love the products and the prices. My biggest complaint is that it takes forever to get checked out. The lines are long and some of the clerks are very, very slow and certainly not enough of them!!

Doreen, as a manager you should really be better staffed at your store!!! We frequent this store often and EVERY time we are in there you have a long, long line and 1 cashier checking out. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!!! My husband and I just stood in line at your location while you were filling balloons, we were so irritated we just left out things and walked out. There were a couple other people in line that were just as irritated as we were.

They literally have anything you ever need here. Its a nice quick stop. They could have a couple more cashiers when its busy, besides that, I have no compliants.

I honestly love dollar tree as a store, variety of products spanning from household necessities to the newly expanded grocery snack zone and while the quality of some products may be lacking its generally quite the bargain for your everyday goods.I have always made a point to stop by the local dollar tree in whatever city I might be relocating and have never been disappointed, recently though there does appear to be an issue with this particular location off 41st street in Sioux Falls, SD. It isnt the products, its isnt even the customer service as all the employees seem to have a good demeanor and are always willing to help if its needed. The problem is that there is a major lack of staffing when it comes to cashiers, which is unusual when you see 2 employees stocking while one runs the register of this extremely busy location. From my understanding all employees at Dollar Tree are indeed cashiers and it is decidedly unacceptable to force one solitary cashier to handle the heavy flow of customers whom always seem to want to check out at the same time. Its unfair to t hag employee as well as to your customer especially when there are indeed others available to open alternatives registers. I have personally managed multiple retail stores and feel this is either a point of purposeful mismanagement or some strange conspiracy to force more impulse buy from your customers as they wait for 30 minutes to travel from the line to checkout. Regardless the amount of times I have walked in to this store only to immediately walk out due to the desire not to be the 25th person in a checkout line has reached an amount that may keep me from returning. I know thats a big number but at exactly 4:51 PM on Saturday of the 20th of July 2019 there was exactly 24 customers in line at this local dollar tree and I couldnt force myself to be number 25, no exaggeration needed on my part . I appreciate what you offer as a store but even with your exemplary pricing on your products this is just too much for the average person. Sorry, hope this gets resolved otherwise my time with Dollar Tree may sadely be at an end.

Great selection, great prices. Im always excited for what treasures I can find at Dollar Tree. They even carry some name brand products and accept coupons! Everything is $1 and some items are even 2 for $1. My go to stop for cards and wrapping supplies.

Was very busy day before Valentines day. Bought a pair of head phones, that were just a buck. They work pretty good for only spending a dollar.

Its on level simple to get in an out , handicap parking in the front people are really nice, love going there

Closing time is 9 pm . We stopped for 1 item at 8:55 pm. The door was locked. People were inside, 2 other sets of customers had tried to enter but door was locked. We got in our car at 8:56 pm and called. The gal said they are closed. I asked what time they closed and she said 9 pm. They must have a different clock than the rest of us.

Found what i was looking for. ..coloring books ,a novel to read, slipper socks and gloves , enjoyed looking around, havent been there in sometime.

Great place to get basics reasonable ,they even have some frozen and refrigerated items. Check out can sometimes be long due to many people who shop there.

Almost always find what I stopped in for & realized today how many brand names they have too.

The lines were slow, but not long. Then someone went on break. 10 minutes before a usual rush-time for them: lunch hour. Now, the lines are long. A lady had over 100 items and something in the payment process messed up, so the manager, McKayla Atkins, told the cashier she needed to start over. Then McKayla ran off into her office. Remember, someone went on break, so a register was free, but McKayla stayed away, even exiting her office to go to the back of the store. The cashier was nice, understanding, apologetic, and went as fast as she could. I will never spend money there while McKayla is the manager. Id rather spend more or go without.

You have to REALLY watch you bank account. I got double charged within moments of eachother. The manager went through records and confirmed that it was a glitch, but said that it had to go through their corporate office. I have made 17 calls and left messages over the last 5 months and they are not responding to getting my money returned to me. BEWARE!!!

Did not have laundry soap. Store was clean, and staff very nice.

For a city bigger than Im used to,THIS Dollar Tree does not seem to have as good a selection. Its often messy and disorganized. There were unsupervised young children running throughout the store. The cashier was rude when I asked him to double bag my items. Its the only only a dollar dollar store here so Ill continue to go there but not because I enjoy it like every other dollar tree Ive been to.

Well everything is a phenomenal price is only $1 in the store it is pretty much junk but that being said $1 for the particular item does go well with the old saying you get what you pay for.
