It was well run, clean and people were very polite, beware of parking lot, lots of fast traffic, random due to ace setting up there outdoor plant section.

Biggest dollar general in sioux falls! Alot of clothing choices and overall more in stock of items than any of the stores! Ryan is a great worker and is always very helpful when I need to find something!

No swimming stuff maybe next week or maybe its on the truck who knows, the manager was short staffed and was also training and had no business helping upfront according to her!

As I was walking toward the store, I noticed a sign that said to do my part, I would need to wear a mask unless I have health issues which prevent it. Since my issues with a mask, i.e., asthma, foggy glasses, increasing anxiety about not being able to breathe arent visibly noticeable, I put my mask on. I grabbed a basket from the stack on the floor near the buggies (could we get a stand, please) and shopped for the few grocery items I needed.As I approached the register, a young man came back and said to the lady he was supposed to get x amount of change. He was short a dollar. She took the news well, opened the till, and gave him the dollar, apologizing as she did. He said something like, Its okay. We all make mistakes.Somehow I had accidentally grabbed a can of creamed corn instead of whole kernel, and I saw it when it was on the display. I asked if I had gotten a creamed corn. She finished scanning the last item or two, dug it out of the bag, handed it to me, and asked if I would like to exchange it. She was pleasant and had no attitude. I thanked her, apologized to the customer behind me, ran and switched the cans, apologized to the customer again, and handed the cashier the can. She helped me with the app, and I left.Its unfortunate the parking lots of the DGs always look so filthy. It gets tracked into the lobby areas which arent kept clean, either. While I realize ND and SD have long and messy, wet and slushy fall, winter, and spring seasons, it seems more could be done to keep the store lobbies neater at least.

This was a frustrating experience. My fiance and I moved to South Dakota from Michigan due to mask mandates. Both of us have conditions that keep us from using a mask while shopping. Our physician directed us both to not wear the mask due to increase risks. We visit this location to shop for supplies. Nothing was said to us as we moved through the store. We got in line. There was an elderly woman on oxygen in front of us not wearing a mask. Of course not, she has a disability. Nothing was said to her. We got to the register. The woman behind the counter didnt say anything until we had paid for our products and as we were walking out said if we returned we have to wear a mask. First, no we dont. We are exempt. Secondly, they waited until we purchased our items to make any statement. Thirdly, I have worked at DG as an assistant manager, I wouldnt be surprised if this is how DG corporate has recommendrd handling these situations. Employees should assume anyone entering the store without a mask, is doing so for good reason. I will be calling corporate as well to file an official complaint against the store. I do not have to disclose any information pertaining to my exemption to store staff and customers should be allowed to shop and check out without something so ignorant being said to them. We are both young and encounter this demeanor often. Just because you dont think someone could have a disability, doesnt mean they dont. Disappointed in that DG staff member for addressing us, when she didnt address the elderly woman.

Prices are just the same if not HIGHER than regular retail and not too mention, the place is a dump!

This Store is organized neatly and generally well kept. However like this evening when I visited I had to wait at the register for a few minutes For someone to show up to complete my purchase which was slightly irritating. If I had to rate this on a 1 to 10 scale I would give it a 5. Theyre right in the middle there some stores that are better and some that are worse.

I actually love this store. They are a great step up from dollar tree. There is a ton of stuff packed into this little store. They have soaps, paper goods, clothing, toys and more.

Its a pretty run of the mill Dollar General. Its in a nice area and I dont feel like Ill get mugged there or in the parking lot, so thats a plus :-p

Asked to open a drink while shopping the cashier person was hard set against waiting to pay for the coke when I checked out. I paid 77$ when I checked out. The cashier was rude and insistent in arguing with me..100 nearly spent at Dollar general which could go to somewhere else the next time we shop

There are a couple of clerks who always seem to be in a bad mood. The music is played too loudly and is often offensive. Children should not be subjected to some of the lyrics and language playing over the speakers.

There is always a good variety of the things you need when you cant find it anywhere else. The problem is that it seems like every time I go here its always really busy. Im not sure, but I feel like they might be under staffed.

Cant believe how busy a dollar store was, just stopped in to get one item and had to wait behind people that seemed to be doing their weekly grocery shopping there.

1. This is just a real dollar store without the real dollar store prices.. AKA total junk but itll cost you $4 instead of $1...literally the same cheap plastic JUNK. and not sure what was going on the day I was there, it cant always be like this.. Maybe I had showed up after a flash mob broke out.. Or maybe there was a huge 15 person fight... Or maybe a wild animal got loose... I dont know.. What I do know though is that there was almost more JUNK on the ground to step over (or on) then there was JUNK on the shelves... Why???.. . And not to add insult to injury but why does it smell?.... You can use your phone to pay with PayPal. Which would be pretty cool if paypal wasnt.. PayPal.. (maybe its only ebay sellers that have a resentment towards PayPal.. But 21 day holds on your money ha thanks paypal)
