This was my first root canal and I was very scared. However, Dr. Lavin and his assistant were incredibly nice and there was absolutely no pain. In fact, this experience may have helped me lick my long-standing challenge with dental anxiety. It couldnt have been a better experience. Im grateful to Dr. Marshall and his team. We are lucky to have them in Sioux Falls.

I will admit that I have never had a root canal before. I also hope my dental checkups and visits go fast so I can be out as fast as possible. I had also heard a lot of horror stories over the years about root canals, but will freely admit that Dr Lavin was amazing and made my root canal virtually painless! He explained everything and I am 100% satisfied with the results. Results matter, without a doubt, but so does customer service and sometimes that gets overlooked, but not with Dr Lavin. I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do, I will have every assurance that I will be in the best hands, literally!

Who wants a root canal? Nobody! However, if you need one you should come to see Dr. Lavin and his staff. Excellent and expert dentistry, friendly folks, and exceeded expectations from start to finish.

Kind and helpful staff. Root canal procedure was way easier than I expected and I felt zero pain. Staff was wonderful and Dr Lavin did an excellent job.I would highly recommend going here. I just wish Id gone sooner!

This place gave me the absolute best experience Ive ever had with an Endodontist or really any Dentistry place.. The staff and Dr. Lavin were so amazing and compassionate it almost makes you forget how much you abscessed tooth was hurting.. I have never met a Dr. so personable and Im a nurse. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place... I would give 10 stars if I could. 😁😁

First time here and Dr. Lavin is nothing but professional and very pleasant to speak to. Very nice facility and all the employees were super friendly. I had to drive from Brookings and dropped the ball and was running about 25 minutes late. Called them ahead of time and they told me not a problem and come on down. Even being late, they still were able to get everything I needed done. Dr. Lavin and his assistant were a hoot and kept a very fun conversation while executing painless repair of a root canal that needed to be redone. If you need work done on your teeth in Sioux Falls, Dr. Lavin is the guy to go to. Thank you. 10 out of 5 stars if I could!

First I will say that I would and do recommend this Dental Office / Endodontics Practice to anyone. The staff is always very polite and Dr Lavin is a pleasure to work with. You are always taken care of and explained what the services are. He cares about the end result.

Today was by far my best experience at a Endodontist! If it is possible to have a great root canal, I had one today. I have had others, and have never had this good of an experience. Dr. Lavin was professional, funny, compassionate and very gentle. I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep toward the end of the appointment. His assistant was also wonderful. Dr. Lavin called me tonight to check up on me and see how I was doing and if I needed anything else. Seriously, such a great doctor! I highly recommend going here if you need an Endodontist.

Getting a root canal is the pits, but Dr. Lavin made the procedure painless and as enjoyable as possible. I would definitely recommend his office to anyone.

My wife has an infected tooth from a crown. She needs a root canal and is taking Norco for pain. She has called Dr. Lavin to get in and was told that she would have to wait until the end of July to be seen. By the way she is 25 weeks pregnant and her OB/GYN said that she needs to get this done ASAP. Terrible service. Would definitely not recommend.

I had my X-ray and referral sent to Dr. Lavins office for a root canal. I made an appt and also asked what injections are used so I could run it by my OB as Im 23 weeks pregnant. I received a call back from Lavins office saying it is fine to wait until after the baby is born- 5 months. When I questioned this the receptionist assured me that he had seen my X-ray and it would be fine. I cancelled my appt and a week later the tooth got infected. My OB said it can cause pregnancy complications and to get it taken care of ASAP. I called Lavins office back and they cant get me in for a month. I asked if he was aware of the situation or if the receptionist was just telling me the schedule was full. She made sure he was aware of the details and he still wasnt willing to get me in- which was super frustrating because he was the one that said it was ok to wait, and it obviously wasnt. Youre better off going to Dr. Ann Wiseman who is the only board certified Endodontist in the area, she fit me in her schedule the next day.
