Tire replacement: got the same tire that the manufacturer had on my car. The waiting room was clean, and I was quickly acknowledged and assisted by Jason. It was easily determined the tire that I needed and Jason quickly reviewed and expense sheet for the purchase. While waiting for the tire to be installed, I reviewed the estimate form and realized there was a $25 road hazard warranty fee that is optional. That information was not clearly stated during the review of the estimate. However it was easily deducted from my final bill once the tire installation was complete. I was told the tire replacement would take approximately 1-1.5 hours, but in fact it only took 30 minutes. Goodyears website advertises the tire I purchased for $10 cheaper than what the Simpsonville location charged me. Overall, Im giving a three-star rating because I felt like the $25 charge for the road hazard warranty was not appropriately clarified and I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Purchasing new tires and getting this type of service is not something I do every single day. I like to go somewhere that I can trust the people Im working with. Im leaving today feeling indifferent.

I was there when the lady below 👇🏼 Was being impatient. These guys were super friendly. And Busy the customer service is always great. And they patch tires from the inside. That takes time! They remove your wheel from the vehicle, then remove the tire from the rim and patch from the inside. If you do not have patience for a job being done correctly then go somewhere else. Thankyou guys for making sure our vehicles are safe. And working on all weather to do so. You’re appreciated!

This Goodyear Auto Service location in Simpsonville, SC really cares about their customers. In particular, Jason went well out of his way to accommodate me when I needed to unload my vehicle prior to getting a tire replacement. I also noticed that Rico was especially helpful and pleasant to a series of customers while I was waiting in the customer lobby area for the work to be done. The service itself was excellent, too. I received a quality product, properly installed in a timely manner. I highly recommend this location!

I scheduled an appointment for 9 am for a simple tire plug. It had a nail in it. They have had my vehicle for a hour now. They are not good at updating so I have to ask what’s going on. They keep saying another 10-15 mins. It’s been an hour. I totally would not recommend. This is horrible. I would’ve went somewhere else. Never again. Don’t worry about an appointment it doesn’t mean anything. Pretty much first come first serve.

Scheduled an appt online for 9:30 am at the Fairview Rd. Simpsonville store. Even when showing Jason my confirmation number was told they had no appt for me nor could he service my car any time soon because they had 6 people in front of me. Jason refused to check the system, make a call to know why the appt was not showing in his system (if it was in fact not showing in his system) nor did he offer an alternative time. He could benefit from a customer service training class.

We just picked up our car after dropping it off this morning for a tire rotation. It is wonderful to see that great customer service still exists!!! Not only was the service that we asked for preformed but someone also noticed that we had purchased a 3-year alignment service, and the alignment was also checked and taken care of, without us asking!!I grew up with a father that owned an auto repair shop, and know that some of the hardest days on the shop floor are when it’s cold, rainy, and damp like today, which makes the excellent customer service all that more impressive.

As I was driving down 385 nearing Fairview rd my truck tire was going flat. I immediately headed toward the Goodyear store in case it completely gave out . They were obviously VERY busy but despite this dropped everything and came out to assist me. They later fixed the tire , took good care of my truck and were very pleasant every step of the way. .no problem recommending this service to everyone I meet

Best custom service I’ve received in a long time. They also do oil changes, suspension work, swap engines, etc... I’ll definitely be back.

I wanted a second opinion after one place (dealership) quoted me higher than I could really afford. Made an appointment here and the mechanics changed my oil quickly and told me that I didn’t need anything else done during that appointment at all and that everything looked fine. In and out quick and saved a bunch of money. Jason and Chris were very helpful at the front desk.

I first went to Mauldin to report the issue with my tire since I bought my set from there to only have to come back another day and it was only after 2pm. I went back another day and he said he didnt know what time he could check one tire. I set up an appt at 1pm another day and when I went, he told me I had to wait 2 hours or more when I had an actual appt. Simpsonville got me in at a 1pm appt, got my tire fixed and got me out. Super happy about that. Thats great customer service

Visiting daughter here. Drove up from Georgia and picked up a nail I suppose. Took my brand new car to Goodyear in Simpsonville to see why the low pressure check light was on. They fixed me up pretty fast AND didnt charge a red cent. That just doesnt happen these days! Wow, so impressed with the good old-fashioned service and friendliness!

I took my vehicle there to have the transmission flushed and serviced. I was told if I could leave it overnight it would be ready the next day. On the next day I’m told it hasn’t even been touched and the mechanics were off so it would be another day before it could even be looked at! Had I known this upfront I could have continued to look elsewhere for someone who could have looked at it that day. For the prices charged, I expected better communication and honesty. Will never go back.

Chris saved the day! We were in town for a wedding and started to experience tire pressure issues. Apparently, we had metal in our tire and it was deflating FAST! Chris got us in/out with plenty of time to spare! Thank you!!!!

No communication from staff regarding status of my vehicle, I had to call to find out any information. A brake job that was indicated to be 1.5 to 2 hours ended up taking over 6.5 hours with a call at 6:45 pm that my vehicle was ready, lucky I was only 5 minutes away to pickup before they close at 7. The managers were gone for the day and a technician that checked me out was less than courteous, it seemed like I was putting him in an imposition. The customer service definitely has room for improvement.

Rico inspected my car a few days ago. I needed a few regular maintenance services done. He told me in order what needed to be done right then and also what could wait a few weeks. What i thought would be a ton of money spent and long hours waiting, turned out to be the opposite. Rico is knowledgeable and very friendly!

Just had my 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo serviced here. (19 Feb 20) I cannot thank them enough. It took a little longer than expected. However, my car has NEVER ran so well, smooth, and powerful. I literally feel like I had a new engine put in. These guys are top notch in every way possible. Thanks again for essentially making my car feel like new again. They have my business from now on.

I was told that since my truck has a leveling kit on the front end it would not be possible to align it, but they could try. Total joke! The incompetence of the employees is completely unacceptable. Training is so important in sales and service, and this location seems completely unqualified to even do routine maintenance. I will never do business here and will make sure none of my friends or family do.

Very pleased with the service and people at the Simpsonville location. Rico, Jason and Nathan all helped in some way whether taking my car in, helping during my wait or answering questions afterwards. They worked well as a team and that translated to a great experience for me. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future. I brought my car in because I was told I needed to have the brakes looked at and that the needed service. They did an inspection, gave me the results (which were that my brakes were in good condition and did not need repair) and got me out quickly. But it wasnt just that it was a quick trip and they saved me the cost of unnecessary repairs, it was the customer service that really stood out. Great team! Great Service!

Ive always had good service here, been using them for years. Rating is 5 stars for past performances and one for today. Came in with a tire (bought here) going flat. Goodyear: cant look at it for 3-4hours. Me: can you help me put on the spare? Goodyear: not for 3-4 hours. So I (a 64 year old disabled guy) puts on the spare in the lot, with hand tools. I bring in the flat and after a quick look they say they can fix it. Now that I am buying a tire they can put it on in 15 minutes. It took 40.

I would most definitely recommend Goodyear Auto Service on Fairview rd. They are really professional and informative. The guy Rico seemed to be on top of everything and he was really friendly. You can tell he was all about his customers. I most definitely will be going back.

After telling them what kind of car I have during making appointment yesterday they told me my oil change would cost 27.95 and my appointment time was 9:00. Today got there at 8:40 checked in waited for 1:40 min for oil change why did I make appointment? They finished told me it would be $31.77 I even had a 5.00 coupon I asked why so much he said they had to use extra quart of oil . Remember he asked me what kind of car I had before he told me what it would cost, all that was on the phone yesterday when I made appointment. Looks like told me something that was NOT true. On my next oil change does anybody know a place that will do what they say? You only have one chance to make a lasting impression.

They do a great job taking care of my car over there. They know everything about car when it comes to muffler, alternators, engine and any other car part. They do affordable checkups and let you know whats going on with your car and are very honest about what you need to do to fix the issue. I go there enough that we know each other personally because they get to know you very well.

I recently made a visit to Goodyear. I knew that I needed tires and was paranoid about trying to pick out tires myself. I dont know anything about tires. A visit I was dreading turned into a pleasant experience. Rico made talked to me asked questions and gave me his professional advice. I also took his advice to get wiper blades. I will never buy a set of tires from this place again! They were very rude and obnoxious. When I was willing to spend $800 on a new set of tires and hazard insurance they were nice and accommodating. However, as soon as I run into a need to use the hazard insurance they abruptly let me know they “didn’t have time for me today”. Funny how I called my dealership and they got me in and fixed the nail issue in an hour. It was worth the $34 I spent. Will be going back to Discount tire or the Toyota dealership from now on for all 4 of my cars. Both these companies are much more Friendly, customer service oriented, and accommodating.

Made online appointment and they didnt have it on their list but I had proof and still had to be put on the wait list now have to wait an hour and a half they said, its just to patch a flat... I waited 2 and a half hours until they said they couldnt fix my problem then wanted to sell me a tire!

Had a quick flat coming on, noticed it with the tire pressure light. Called to see if they could take a look because I was in the area and it’s the only place close, it was a hour and half before they closed. Guy told me to bring it by and they wouldn’t leave me stranded. Got there and the guy behind the counter said I would have to leave it overnight before he even looked at it. So they basically left me stranded in the parking lot. Tire was FLAT then. It was unbelievable. I would carry my truck on my back before I spent a red cent there now.

Walked in today to see about how long the wait is for an oil change. Before I got here I looked at their appointment list online and it said the next appointment would be at 12:00pm, which is an hour and 15 from now. They stated it would be about a 3.5-4 hour wait which is not right. Then I asked about a cam shaft sensor, if he could show me where it was so I could do it on my own. He rudely stated you can google it and it will show you where it is located. I will never be back to this good year.

During a road trip by tire light came on, noticed a large screw in the tire. I pulled into Goodyear in Simpsonville SC at 5:15 Saturday evening. Desperate, tired, rainy and had three large Labradors in the car and nearing closing hours...the staff didnt blink and jumped to the rescue. The allowed me to sit in the lobby with the dogs, made sure I was comfortable and in about an hour they had me up and going. To my continued surprise, they didnt charge me. Wow! Amazing customer service, plus I saw a couple Clemson Tiger shirts for the Championship game : ) Thank you all for helping a gal out and feel safe too. Cheers!

One week ago I make an oil change appointment. I show up per my time and Im told that Its going to be 2+ hours as theyre behind. I decline and leave. One week later I try again, I make another oil change appointment. I show up 5 minutes early for my scheduled time. Im informed that they dont have my appointment in the system. I then show my confirmation email showing my appointment details. Im informed that it doesnt matter as they dont have it and the service will take 2-3 hours....What good is an appointment? Ill be taking my two vehicles and money elsewhere. I advise that you do the same. My time is valuable.

Ladies BEWARE! I live out of town and had an issue with what I thought was my tire hissing. I assumed there was a nail in my tire. So I went here to see if I could have it patched so I could make it back home. That way my husband, who is a mechanic and had his own shop for 21 years, could order me a matching tire. But Nathan told me there was a nail in the shoulder of the tire and it wasnt patchable and I needed a new tire. He quoted me $169.22 for a mismatched tire. As soon as I told him I needed to call my husband he pretty much gave me the cold shoulder and was pretty rude. I told him we werent going to buy a tire there to have to buy a matching tire when I got home. He new I was from out of town and I totally felt like I was being taken advantage of. So I drove to the nearest Advance and purchased a can of Slime to patch it up for the ride home. I figured by the time I got to the Advance my tire would be flat, but it wasnt. So I decided to wait till it went a little flat so I could put the slime in the tire (if there is too much air pressure in the tire none of the slime will go in the tire to coat the inside). Remember my husband is a mechanic so I was getting good advice. The tire not only made it through the night in Simpsonville, it made it back home to Columbia. As soon as I got home my husband checked my tire and we rolled the car back and forth to see where the nail was. Guess what? NO NAIL! So sweet Nathan not only tried to rip off a stranded woman, he straight up lied. 100% Shysters. Ladies Stay AWAY!BTW 2 weeks later, tire is still fine with no issues.

Horrendous. Bottom line: dont take your vehicle here.I am in law enforcement and took my patrol car here a few times for servicing, and it wasnt bad. Granted, I didnt pay for it, but they were polite and quick.Since then, my wife has gone without me and Ive taken my personal vehicle while out of uniform, and the experience was much different. For starters, your wait will be long, even if you sit and wait for it. Expect 3 hours for anything more complicated than an oil change. I went for some AC work, they claimed that they found a leak and replaced the hose, cost around $350. Two weeks later, started blowing hot again. In reality, they just pumped it full of Freon, checked for a catastrophic leak, didnt see anything, and let it ride.Also, the service manager (Mike maybe? Bald and lean) is awful with customer service. Every time I speak to him, hes always short, unfriendly, and acting annoyed by me. He also, when my wife went alone, confused her with a bunch of technical terms and then gave her a 1k repair estimate. I looked at her estimate: they wanted $350 each for a solenoid and a spooler valve, $700 total. But, plot twist, those parts are the same thing, one is just inside the other. Later, I fixed it myself for $50 bucks. They tried to prey on my wifes ignorance. Scum.Last time I spoke to them, I was treated poorly; apparently, they just cant fit me in for a week or two cause theyre just too busy.Sorry for the long review, but please, dont give them your business. Try the fix yourself first (YouTube!) and, if you must, take it somewhere better than here.

Weve always had a great experience with Goodyear and weve been going here for service, such as new tires, repairs, oil changes, over 10 years. They got us on the road in one day when our radiator went out and went the extra mile to be sure Id have my van back in time to pick up my kids from school. Great service, always helpful, reliable, considerate, professional, gets the job done right the first time, I couldnt ask for more.

Brought our car in with a flat tire today. The staff looked at the car quickly and, after completing diagnostics and pulling cotter pin out of affected tire and determining tire was self-sealing, charged us nothing for the time spent! Needless to say, my husband and I were quite happy with the service we received, so we will be returning for our other car services.

Im looking for a local auto repair place for oil changes and maintenance items.. I had a squeaky fan belt so I tookl it to Goodyear.. The service employees were friendly and helpful... The service tech guy was pretty good also.. I would make an appointment..walk-ins are welcomed but you need to be able to leave your car or expect at least an hour wait.Thinking seriously about making them my car service place..My first oil change was 1 1/2 hrs.. With an appointment... Not off to a good start.

Consistently take longer than promised for oil changes even when we have an appointment. Up to two hours on Regular basis. Would not recommend.

I was assured that making an appointment would prevent me from having to wait around for hours. So, I made an appointment, arrived on time, and waited around for hours...for an oil change and tire rotation. BTW, when I arrived, I was told the service would take an hour, tops. Wont be back.

Customer service seems to be hit or miss. The gentleman that worked with me today was way more polite and patient than the last guy. However this is one of those places where you have to schedule even the simplest services. And their website doesnt seem to actually send the appointment to them. Meaning you still have to give them all the details when you get there. They also keep the TV in the lobby way too loud with no remote around to turn it down. Still building my trust, but so far so good.

Will not spend another dime at this store..bought road hazard on a brand new tire..try to come in 2 months later to have the tire replaced...get excuses on the first day (a Friday) as to why they cant take 10 mins just to put a tire on the rim..I could put it on the car myself..hes too full for the rest of the day...come back at 9 a.m. the next morning...oh well hes full for the day...again couldnt find 10 minutes to help me..so this Goodyear has effectively refused to replace a tire under warranty and makes excuses as to why it cant be done while their shop employees are standing around out front talking and laughing

Ive been there twice, two different cars and two different issues. No appointment and they worked with me on time frame. This past Saturday my wifes car had a flat and Chris got me in (though they were slammed) and told me my options. I opted to replace the tire and one other that was low on tread depth. They gave me a 2 tires, a free alignment check, rotate & balance all for a good price. On top of that they even moved the tires around putting the two new ones in the back so the old ones would wear together.Very happy with them and will be back next time I need help!

Im not sure what goes on behind the scene but I have a few comments. Bought tires for our Honda back in October, and when driving home the tpm light came on. Reset light at home and checked tire pressure on all 4, and noticed one tire was at 40 psi while the other 3 were at 32. Drove car after releasing air from the over inflated tire and tpm light came on again. I called and they said bring the car back in the morning. Drove car next day after resetting tpm and this time it stayed off so I did not take it back but Im perplexed at why one tire would be over inflated from the get go. Took my Outback in for an oil change today and had a 9:30am appointment. I arrived at 9:25 saw my car pulled in at 10:05 and it wasnt finished until 11:35am. When I paid for the service I mentioned Ive never had a 2 hour and 15 minute oil change before and he gave me 5 dollars off. They seem friendly enough and believe they are capable of good work but I will go elsewhere for my future oil changes.

Fair prices and quick service. I needed a rattling sound in my engine diagnosed. It took them about 30 minutes. They did charge for the diagnoses even though I let them fix them it. I thought this was strange but otherwise they did a good job.

Please DO NOT go to this location. If I was able to give no stars I would. They are NOT good at what they do, they lie, they are very rude and the manager does not let you speak he constantly interrupts you. They broke a part in my vehicle lied and said it was not cracked or broken and refused to fix it. I had to contact corporate for help (they were very helpful, nice, professional and very apologetic).When corporate tried to get all sides of the story they lied once again. Thank God for my husband and I getting our car checked not only by the town over at Good Year but back home by several different shops (which all agreed that the car should be repaired by the place that did the initial repair and damage). No one wanted to touch my car unless they were going to get paid to repair it as everyone felt it was a liability for them to repair it (my car was like this for a month until it was finally repaired).Please be aware, I don’t know who all has given good ratings if they are even legit ratings. If they are then fine, if they are only there to help this shop out I feel bad for this shop when something serious happens to someone behind there negligence and get seriously sued and you all then will look like liars. I would suggest not going to this shop they are a serious liability. They are very lucky my husband or myself didn’t get hurt or break down in the middle of nowhere do to there negligence.Thank you Good Year at corporate office for helping my husband and myself out. Maybe everyone in this shop should get retrained, properly trained or completely replaced.For those that try to disput this and say that I am wrong, I have a lot of documentation from this shop and others including a check stub for the repair from Good Year corporate to show validity of my claims.

Had to get wheel studs replaced after getting tires at Sams. They made me an appointment right away and did a good job at a fair price.

I recently moved to the area;where I am from, Goodyear always offers fair and honest service-I wish I could say that was the case at this location.On Sunday, my car was having issues starting. I called first thing Monday to see if they could fit me in if I had my car towed. When I called, I was reassured they had capacity to handle it. I had the car towed that morning and by that afternoon they told me I would need to have a $106 diagnostic test done to figure out the issue. I was told later that day that it was a crankshaft problem and would cost me upwards of $750. Because of my experiences with the company in the past, I figured I would move forward. On Wednesday afternoon, (after having my car for 3 days) I got a call that they needed a different key of mine to run the diagnostic test. (I had initially sent the car in with the Valet key) Imagine my surprise that they had my car for that long and not one thing had been done-not even the test! I called multiple other auto shops to get quotes-all were between 450-550 and could have my car back to me the next day. Why was I leaving my car here for an extended period of time AND overpaying?I went Wednesday evening to pick up my car (I had to pay nothing, because obviously nothing was done) and to my surprise, the car started smoothly-as if there was some good karma car God telling me to drive away and never be back. After speaking with neighbors and reading reviews, I will be sending my car to one of a few places in Mauldin. Im very disappointed and Goodyear has lost a loyal customer.

Do not expect the fanciest waiting room but honestly thats not really how you should pick a place to take your car. The TV in the lobby annoyed me so I cut it off. This seemed to annoy one of the staff who had a remote behind the counter and muted it for me. Do not expect overly peppy staff, but again not really a priority when it comes to getting your car fixed. There was a nail in one of my tires and I was advised to see if it was still under warranty. I was impressed by this because they could have just told me it needed to be replaced. A lot of times car places will take advantage of women in these matters. The service was also fast and I had a coupon that was applied with no question or issue. I am giving this place 4 stars because I feel the staff was honest and the service was good.

This is long overdue. I had a alignment done on my truck. The truck drove fine and stright. The toe was not correct so it ruined my very tires. Nothing can be done now expect to start over with new tires and a new alignment.

Amazing!!! From out of town breaks went out on a Sunday. Couldnt get all the parts needed. Put me up in a hotel overnight picked me up Monday morning when car was done. I have used this Goodyear establishment since September 2008 for All of the maintenance on my 2005 Chevy Avalanche with only 31,000 miles on it as of today. Ive had absolutely excellent service from this establishment! On my last visit I was willing to put 4 new Michelin tires on it even though I had plenty of tread left because I was concerned about dry rot on the 2008 Michelin tires that I installed 2 weeks after I bought the truck because I will only run Michelin tires. The service manager told me that my tires are fine and they always check for dry rot so he advised me not to spend the money unless it is needed. They could have easily hooked me for $900.00 because I will only run top of the line Michelin tires so this is what I call an honest repair shop. I sure dont understand the bad reviews compared to how they treated me all of these years.

I bought my own parts and they said they wouldnt install them. They installed a part I brought them a couple of years ago but apparently they only do it when they want to?? Lost my business for good. I will be sure to let social media know also about this place. Sucks because now I have to get car towed to a garage in Greenville when this one was closest to my house.

Very poor service. Patched my tire on Thursday. I left and laughed as all 4 tires had different pressures. Flat again Thursday afternoon. Replaced the valve stem on Friday. I told the manager about different pressures and he said it would be right this time. When I picked up all 4 tires had different pressure. Flat again Friday afternoon. They are too busy to fix for me over the weekend. I won’t go back.

Do not buy goodyear tires they do not honor the warranty in these tires. My grandparents purchased a full set of good year tires from this store and one was a defective tire. Brought the vehicle back up to have the tire inspected and was told not covered under warranty.Bulge in sidewall with no abrasion or impact damage but not covered under warranty. Do your research goodyear tires have a very high defect rate and they will not replace under warranty. Sold my grandparents a new tire at full cost because they were afraid to drive with the defective tire.

I am a regular customer, and havent had a problem at all. Clean waiting area, very personal staff that keeps you informed of problems before theres a problem. Keep up the good work, Mr fred Babb

Stunned...my wife had to go back three (3) times to get wipers replaced when she received and oil change and tire rotation--by the way, the wipers were garbage and if I were in town, this would not have happened--once again, Good year is always preying not praying upon the ladies lack of knowledge. I know that this would not have happened if this was a pep boys...Charles

Some of these reviewers are not thinking right. If you buy parts online NO national chain can install them. They have done great work for me. They have oil filters and parts for most foreign brands and their pricing is very up front.

Jeremy the manager of this store always has an attitude like he doesnt care whether you get your car fixed there or not. I have been there a few times and it is always the same. Ray one of the service advisers is a liar. He claimed he put a discount from a coupon on my vehicle but did not and he is rude. I asked him how much longer it would take on my vehicle and he said he would find out. He never even came back and told me I had to inquire about it again. I am not going back to this location anymore.

My truck broke down a month ago at Walmart right down the road... I called told them I was broke down at Walmart and needed help!!!! I was willing to have the truck towed and was ready to pay that day to have it fixed!! He ask me what year vehicle I responded it’s an 88 Chevy. He quickly responded he doesn’t work on anything that old. A mechanic shop that doesn’t work on what they call easy money vehicles!! What a joke!! So I call Goodyear in Mauldin Stephen he asked me what year.. again I responded it’s an 88 Chevy.. I told him my problem just like I did to the other guy. Stephen said have it towed here and I will look at it. Guess what store made $1,600 he quoted me for my brakes and the other stuff that was damaged.... I was so pleased with this guy going out of his way to help me I bought 4 tires to go with it!! (1,600 total) So long story short!! I wouldn’t waste your time going to this store in Simpsonville!!! Go to Mauldin!!! Way better service!! Way better people!!

Stop to get an oil change supposably whoever did my oil change last strip the bolt to the oil pan which I know the person that did it before and definitely didnt stripped bolt so yeah

Called to see if they could put a driver side brake on, i had already replaced passenger myself and had the brake. The prick that answered the phone said they would have to do a brake inspection and that would cost me $15 then if they thought that was the only problem they could put it on but that would cost me $45... hello I already have the part and I know what it needs. NEVER USE THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF
