This is probably the 3rd best one in the area. The staff is super nice and thats what gets it into the top 3. Great place to shop.

We were buying supplies for refugees, for hygiene kits to give them when they arrive. Thought I might have to go to several stores to find everything, but I was wrong. This dollar tree location had everything, and they even let me buy some unstocked cases to make transport easier. They set up a dedicated check out to process the large order, handled our tax exempt status, and got us out the door quickly. Friendly staff, very helpful. We will be back!

This is the messiest store I have ever been in. Also, there is mold on the shelves of the pop coolers that should be taken care of immediately.I could overlook it if it was a seasonal new inventory mess, but I am afraid this is what it looks like most of the time.

Not enforcing mask mandate. Saw a customer without a mask. Saw a staff member with mask on chin. They wont be getting my money, not that that will really do any good.

Not too bad, but not too good. This Dollar Tree usually has gaping holes in their stock. Some employees are helpful, others are totally oblivious. Its not the worst Dollar Tree Ive been to.

A lot of boxes in the way and short staffed on cash registers. They had a good selection of candy and other ideas

I’ve never found a Dollar Tree that isn’t dirty and disorganized. I suppose it’s consistent with selling trashy products for a dollar. If you shop here because you’re poor, you’ll stay poor. If you’re just broke, hold off until you have more money and buy a better product elsewhere.I hope this statement and my photo thumbnail don’t make me seem snobby and rich. I am neither.

This Dollar Tree location in Shawnee Kansas is A well-stocked store. With a friendly staff. This location also carries freezer food goods. It stays pretty busy with usually only one or two cashiers and can be a wait at the line to check out. Also, the parking is very poor if you are trying to find a spot to park, the store shares a parking lot with more than six other stores in the strip mall and it can be trying on your patience.

Some of the cashiers are rude but other than that it’s nice

Recently one of my friends said she went to this store where I worked and she was totally appalled at how dirty and unorganized the store was. I said there is no way, It wasnt like that when i was there.However, i was in the store later and found this to be true. I will have to apologize to my friend.I found the store very dirty, merchandise all over the floor , people going through and pulling merchandise from boxes and throwing on the floor, frozen items on shelves open, dirty bathrooms and flowers everywhere.I asked why and was told many people left and went with manager I last worked with. I love this store, but until it is made customer safe and satisfactory. I wont be going back.

They were not helpful the manager was sitting in the office not helping with the line so long. Waited for 15 mins in line. Frustrating

This location is bit small compared to the other dollar trees in the surrounding areas but it is convenient. You can tell when they have been extremely busy as the aisles arent policed then and many unpacked boxes in the aisle...they just need a bit more staffing as even though the store small they do a lot of business and would probably do even more but i have seen people turn around and walk out because of the long checkout lines.

I love this store. I really do. But seriously, update your hours on here. I came to this location today at 9:16 because this says your hours are open until 10 pm. Some rude people in their car, I think theyre employees because they were wearing green, were like its closed!! Like yeah obviously I can see that on the door when I got close enough.But please just update your hours so this doesnt happen to anyone else.

I was amazed when I found EVERYTHING was REALLY for a 1.00!A True Dollar Store!Unlike many Dollar Stores that started this way, but now even round up in price above even local stores or Walmart!Party supplies, food, household stuff, etc, at a fraction of the price!Only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is it seems they always get rent cheap because of BAD PARKING!Hey, I will walk 10 spaces to save paying 10 times the price!

The place is great. I love dollar tree. The cashier was one of the rudest people I have ever met. She told customers as the arrived you got 15 min. When I asked her to double bag an item, she told me I was maam I just have to finish. She told the manager that they needed to lock the doors 15 minutes before closing. On a previous visit she told me to put my cart away and to take my things out of my basket, before I got a chance to do so. I have been a cashier for years. This kind of service is unacceptable. I will never come to this branch again.

Dirty filthy great cashiers

Good prices but they have awful employees!! And the store is always a mess!! The employees move at a snails pace and never smile. Today the cashier was asking for help over the loud speaker and two employees standing at the back of the store chatting never budged to go help out.

I would have to say lately more then the past, the place is a mess. I dont understand the reason for slow service and long lines. Until you find out ... Why ... because there is only 1 employee in the entire store last night when I came in to shop at 530pm? The ENTIRE store looked like it had been hit by a tornado! The shelves looked like there was an attempt to restock, but boxes every where, piled. What a lawsuit waiting to happen. Get it together Dollar Tree!! They have everything you need at a low cost but the service is horrible... The staff doesnt care about you, they disrespect you out loud so everyone can hear and they always say they are joking but they really arent.

I like the selection at Dollar Tree stores, but this one was exceptionally messy, bordering on dirty, when I visited. I know these have to run on a lean crew to be profitable and stay open, but this store seemed to be understaffed.

The one on shawnee mission parkway is always out of stuff then I drove to the one on 8th in lenexa and there was a long line with one cashier with other workers on the floor.There home office needs to get these places together its just sad

This is, by far, the messiest, most disorganized Dollar Tree I have ever been in. They never have what Im looking for, and the place is always a mess with boxes everywhere. I only go here if I have to.

If I could have gave less than one star I would have the faithful Internet which does not lie said that this Dollar Tree didnt close till 10:00 p.m. when I get here clearly theyre closed at 9:15 p.m. with a sign in their store Saying their Closed at 9:00 p.m. now what kind of corporate conglomerates such as this 1 would make such a silly stupid mistake Sabotaged again by the black cloud

Mostly unorganized and junky. Stopped shopping and left early because of mess.

Cashier was pleasant, but wasnt going to wrap the breakables to keep them from getting broke, I had to wrap them myself, just shoved merchandise in a bag , not caring what else was in the bag, gotta search for the chocolate.
