Called to schedule an appointment and they were able to get my in right away. My appointment was with Dr Thanh Nguyen. Im always highly nervous when it comes to dental treatment, but quickly felt at ease. Super friendly staff and Dr, would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Thanh Nguyen is a caring and warm man. He is the the most organized and competent dentist I have ever been to and I have been to many dentists. His assistant is also fabulous. She explained everything before it happened and was patient and caring. I will be forever grateful to both of them. The office is immaculate and safe too. Annette at the desk is also very nice.

Everyone in the office is kind and helpful. Dr. Cromer was great in giving me treatment options, and Jeanette did a thorough job cleaning without being rough. Thank you!

I want to say what an amazing and painless (literally) dental appointment I had. I have to disclose I haven’t been to the dentist in quite some time but Dr. Nguyen and his team which includes the front desk was professional and kind. From scheduling and the actual dental work was a seamless process. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Nguyen, his bedside manner and procedural skills is the gold standard.

I’ve never felt more at ease in a dentists office until now! Dr. Nguyen is a fantastic and friendly person who explains absolutely everything he is doing as he does it to make sure I’m comfortable. Dr. Nguyen is da man!!!! He is beyond amazing and just so genuine and caring. I absolutely could not stand going to the dentist, couldn’t even bear the thought but thanks to him and Marion I no longer feel that way!!! I was terrified and had so much anxiety going in but he reassured me, explained every single thing perfectly and answered all of my questions, validated all of my feelings and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I can’t say enough good things about my experience today at Ideal Dental. The staff was lovely, funny even. Dr. Nguyen is an absolute gem. He is keen to explain everything that will be done and give you options. He is genuinely concerned about your care and getting you out of pain if that is a problem for you. I am a military spouse, new to San Antonio, and am so happy to have found Ideal Dental of Alamo Ranch. I chose this location because it accepts TriCare insurance, but also because of the excellent reviews and I have to say, the reviews are right on point. Dr. Nguyen is simply awesome! I went in for my usual 6-month check-up and cleaning, but Dr. Nguyen also quickly replaced a filling that had been giving me problems---No separate appointment needed like at my last dentist; he gets down to business! Aside from being professional and personable, he is thorough during his dental check-ups and very helpful with his recommendations and tips. All the personnel were attentive and the office was clean and inviting. Dr. Nguyen has a great, top-notch dental practice going---I highly recommend Ideal Dental of Alamo Ranch.

Dr. Nguyen is great! He and his staff are super friendly and inviting. There work atmosphere is very bright and light hearted so it makes the visit very comfortable. My experience getting an exam and cleaning at Ideal Dental was amazing! The check-in process was seamless, the office was decorated nicely and very clean and it did not hurt that you can watch the delicious Cooking channel while laying in your chair! All of the staff were quick, gentle and very friendly. Dr. Nguyen was very comforting, thorough and informative. I also got the teeth whitening done and the results were instant and mind-blowing! I have definitely found my new dentist :)

I moved to Texas in the past year and was without a dentist for several months. I finally found Ideal Dental of Alamo Ranch and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the visit. This dentist is really my favorite dentist Ive ever had. The staff was warm and inviting, I had a major brain fart and left my mask behind in another vehicle so when I arrive, asking if a disposable could be provided wasnt a big deal. The xray tech was so nice and extremely gentle, but the dentist was superb. He made me feel confident in their services as well as reassuring me all is well concerning the wisdom tooth irritation in experiencing due to invisible aligners. I was recommended to see the oral surgeon and they were so helpful in scheduling a date that worked for me as well as helped me understand the costs of everything involved. Im definitely not going anywhere else when theyre close to home and so welcoming I wasnt nervous about anything while here.

I have been in customer service my whole adult life, 66 yrs old, and there is none hands down, better, kinder, more professional and genuine than Ideal Dental! To begin with, they meet you at the door, with a warm smile and a greeting. Dr. Nguyen is so professional yet so kind and sincere...wanting the best smile for you but only at what you can afford, giving you options, from the lowest to highest in cost and in looks and performance. His assistant, Marion, has to be in your space for any procedure, but with an ease and comfort and a little humor...again very professional.Then the office manager, Annette, comes with all the options attached to your insurance best benefits again with no judgement, only encouraging you towards whats best for you and your pocketbook. To top it off they all came in an hour early, to fit me in and so I could go to bed early working nights. I chose to have 5 crowns and a root canal and am so happy with just the temporary! I feel like a family member that was treated with all the honor love and kindness possible. The decor, the T.V.s to watch in each bay, the perfectly followed Covid policies, to perfection.Sorry for such a lengthy review, but I am hoping you took the time to read and are as swayed as I am, that this IS the only place to have your dental needs met. I called to get an appointment and they got me in same day which is amazing because I was in so much pain. I was seen right away and they took all the sanitary safety measures which I loved because not everyone does. First the staff were all welcoming. No catty attitudes like you find in some places. So humble , welcoming and warm. I have never felt so comfortable in a office and there was no long wait times. I got all my questions answered , found out more , and was better educated. He didn’t make things seem worse than they were and double checked my concerns. Didn’t just swoop in and have his team do the rest. He took his time and spent time to talk to me. No rushing. I will be going back for years to come! Aside from knowledgeable he was friendly and you can tell he is genuinely a good person . For treatment I was given all options and shown all plans and discounts available . Anything I asked they were more than accommodating and willing to educate me ! Did I mention how comfortable I felt? They truly are a great staff. No less even questions after my appointment the staff was there to answer them for me and didn’t try to get rid of me. Absolutely no rush. They as well take all covid 19 precautions and provided me with a new mask when I had asked for one. Truly great people and I couldn’t recommend a different office . This is how dental care should be. I truly thank him and his staff for having me as their patient. This is not a dentist that will take you for all you are worth. He will take care of you and so will his staff. Don’t delay book with them today . They also have coupons available for your first exam and x-rays.

Dr Nguyen was extremely attentive and thorough and made me feel very comfortable. While I was waiting I overheard him talking to a young boy on his level and I could hear the comfort in both his and his parents voices. If I could give this office 6 stars I would, Dr Nguyen and his staff ( in particularly Annette) are second to none!
