I’ve Gotten two haircuts, and both great! Martha did an excellent job listening to how I’ve cut it in the past and worked off that. Covid protocols were also good.

Went there to get a haircut. The place is awesome! The lady at the front desk (Chelsea) was so friendly, the whole place just has a very friendly welcoming feel to it. My barber (Angelica) was incredible. She took me from looking a bum to stylish. She got everything right and I never felt a razor drag or snip of the scissors! Been walking around and getting compliments from co-workers. If you are a guy looking for a a good barbershop that is on point, this is it!

Best salon in town. Updated Warm modern decor inside. Have taken the COVID PPE precautions above and beyond. Aveda products. And then there is Becki (#beckidoesthegoodhair on the gram) gods gift to hair. She has a way of highlighting my hair that when it grows out it blends well and doesn’t have defined brown new growth with blonde ends. Can go 7+ months between color and I am not a hot mess express (not recommended but the reality at times due to work). Always a great experience, have been a regular for 4 years now. Nothing but great things to say and would recommend this place to anyone!

I scheduled an appointment for a haircut this morning with the desire to achieve a new look. I wanted no shorter than shoulder length, specifying that I did not want it too short as I do not look well with shorter hair. The stylist agreed and even made the comment that she understood I wanted it long enough to put in a pony tail as I am an avid runner. The stylist, Claudia, cut 6 inches off and I now have a bob haircut. My hair is above my shoulders and barely reaches below my chin. I am beyond furious and disappointed in the service I received. My hair is ridiculously short, and I am greatly disappointed. I will not return here and will not be recommending this salon to anyone. I had high expectations for this salon and they were completely blown away. am a very unsatisfied customer.

Im extremely happy to have found this salon! Joseph did an amazing job on my balayage, and was able to considerably lighten my hair (which has been dyed several different shades of brown over the last year) without causing further damage. The highlights blend beautifully and the color compliments my skin tone perfectly. His talent and level of professionalism are very evident in the end result. The salon was inviting and the service was excellent- a fantastic experience from start to finish. I highly recommend!

I recently moved from California and I am so grateful I met Joseph! I have a short hair cut that requires maintenance every 6 weeks- when I found myself in Josephs chair my trim was long overdue and I was rocking a helmet instead.It took only a few minutes before I could trust we were not only on the same page, but on the same letter- and I could sit back and relax.I came in styled as usual so he could see what an everyday look is like for me and he chose to do a dry cut- which I prefer because I have two cowlicks that always get overlooked.His movements seemed to makes no sense at all- kind of all over the place. But, like a scene out of Edward Scissorhands my hair was a masterpiece when he was through. There was no pressure to try something new or outside my comfort zone- Joseph simply made suggestions to enhance my original idea. He also explained his intentions for the cut (where we were going to let pieces grow out, and others thinned out and choppy) to reach the peak expression of my desired style.The women in the front were warm and welcoming upon arrival and made it effortless to set a appointment for the suggested time of 8 weeks.I am 25 and with this short style I left feeling confident, young, refined, and stylish rather than the 90s soccer mom I had come in looking like. (No offense to any soccer moms out there :) )Joseph is truly a master.Hope you reading this have a wonderful experience too!

After having a horrible experience box dying my hair into this nasty mud color. Joseph Garcia and his staff did an excellent job fixing my hair with minimal damage! They paid closely attention to what would work best for my hair and made me comfortable through the entire process.. very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I left a happy customer!

This place is pretty neat. You get a beverage while you wait. My haircuts have always been really good here. I see that the bad reviews are from people who get mad about no walk ins, so if making an appointment for a haircut is a deal breaker than go somewhere else. But if you like having a specific time to come in and not have to wait in a line of people then come here.

Absolutely great experience here after transferring over as a customer from the Spring Branch location. My stylist helped make cutting off about 14inches of hair a much less traumatic experience. Its looks great and Ive received tons of compliments! Only downside was I scheduled online and entered in the comment box that I also wanted a botanical treatment, but time wasnt aloted for this by the workers upfront. No big deal, Ill call and ensure its entered correctly for next time. Not the stylists fault either by any means. And they were not pushy sales people about the products either. My appointment was about me and not pushing a ton of products (which by the way, speak for themselves!).

The Best! Staff is very attentive. My stylist Liz is friendly but most importantly TALENTED! She always offers suggestions and listens to what I want. My hair always looks amazing after my appointment. The true test though is getting numerous complements in the days just before my appointment when my hair is at its worst.

What amazing service! Beckie was an absolute delight to talk to and asked lots of questions about my cut that I hadnt considered. She crafted it just right and I couldnt be happier! The entire experience made me feel confident and beautiful.

I love the customer service and my stylist so much, that even though I do not live in the area anymore, I drive out of the way for the services here.I have fine curly/wavy hair and I am never disappointed with the recommendations and cuts I receive. Thats not to mention the head message you get while you are getting your hair shampooed, which makes the experience that more enjoyable!

Went there for the first time got a haircut felt it was alittle too long on top, so I came back two days prior an ask for a simple trim off just the top like 1/2 inch, an they said it would be another 40$ (full haircut) just for something that would take maybe 10 min, Plus they weren’t busy at the time at all either. Just have some decency people, also they close down earlier then the actual time. Employees over Customers smh.

Went to the barber shop been here twice as I have 5 boys...Martha did an amazing job would recommend her to anyone she was so patient, she was able to cut my sons hair in a way that he wanted as he is a teen and cares how he looks lol. Had a good experience would come back in the future.

This salon wont ruin your hair but you wont get your moneys worth considering how much they charge. I personally wont be back just because I expect more of a polished haircut at the price I paid.

I got my hair cut by a Studio Stylyst, Salina, Selena, Celena, (sp?), last weekend and she was AMAZING! She gave ma an amazing head massage during the wash and did a phenomenal job on the cut!I wanted super thick side bangs and long layers, I have been trying to get someone who could do this FOREVER and she is the first person who actually saw my vision and made it reality. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Cant wait to come back!!!

I called and scheduled an appointment on Tuesday for this Friday for a haircut and ombre coloring. I informed them I had to be at work downtown at 2:45pm that Friday and the lady assured me it wouldnt be an issue and recommended an 11:30 am appointment. To get a free consultation and to get everything done. I arrive and they perform the consultation and then said I was only scheduled for a haircut and there wasnt enough time to do everything before I had to leave for work. (I never color my hair so thats why I asked when I scheduled If that would be enough time.) I got a haircut for 53 bucks and didnt even get it blow dried or styled with the price. It was wet and she was like well I added layers but u cant see it since ur hairs wet. It would be nice to see the final product how it looks dry before paying $53 bucks for a haircut and leaving to work with my hair wet. Didnt really feel like my needs were prioritized.

Sometimes we forgot to leave good reviews when the service is favorable and only think to leave complaints, but my experience at K Charles and Co was so good, I want to make sure they receive the kudos they deserve. The staff was friendly, the salon was attractive, and I received a stellar cut from Tanya.

Went here for the first time and saw a junior stylist! She was amazing. Excellent overall experience and will definitively be going back.

I want to start by saying that until today I had never had anything but 5 star experiences here. And then there was today. My stylist called out sick but since I had been waiting months for the appointment I agreed to stay and see someone else. When they described that it was going to be two different people because of their schedules I was hesitant but the woman working the front assured me that they work miracles so I agreed. The two stylists that worked on my hair were very kind but definitely rushed and preoccupied. I had come prepared with pictures of the balayage I wanted (very subtle) as well as the cut. When I came out from the heat there was nothing subtle about the color and it looked nothing like the picture. So we start with toner. Come out again and the color is way off, still way too light. So we go back to toner. This time its better and its been 4.5 hours so Im ready to get out. Then I have a third stylist drying my hair. She was very sweet but it seemed like she had never dryed hair before. Point of the story...5 hours and $200+ later I am going to another salon tomorrow to see if they can fix this blotchy, totally overdone balayage and give me the subtle look I requested. (They did comp some of the additional services like the conditioning treatment for my inconvenience. I do appreciate that.)

Walked in asking for a haircut while all barbers are standing around out on their phones. They said no unless I had an appointment. All barbers had appointments at 5. I was there at 459 left at 505. Still empty inside
