The guys at M-Technik have helped me so much. I’ve had my 2009 BMW 335i since high school (2012) and they have been my GO TO guys for all my BMW services. They have managed to keep this car (and it’s issues) always running. Alex Berry and Will and others have been extremely helpful and I could not thank them enough for all the help on my car. They have it running like brand new.

I took my 2016 BMW 328i to a shop in south Austin for a headlight adjustment. When I left, the check engine light was on. They said they had nothing to do with that. The also didn’t fix the headlight issue. I tried M-Technik bc of the good reviews. Very glad I did! All the guys were professional and experienced. They fixed everything and changed my oil at a very fair price. I will definitely be going back to this shop for future BMW needs.

Alex is a class act. We had a PCV valve cover assembly replaced on our 2009 328i by M-Technik in April of 2020, right before we moved from San Antonio to Nashville. On our drive to Nashville in August, the part they replaced failed. I called Alex, and he offered to warranty the part and labor if I brought it in. Unfortunately, I was in Nashville and wasnt planning to come back to San Antonio until December. He recommended a shop in Nashville and told me he would honor the warranty when I came back. I went ahead and got the fix done in Nashville, and when we came back in December he made good on his word and gave me a full refund for the parts and labor. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism. He didnt have to warranty the labor, but he did, and during an especially tough year impacted by COVID-19, he went WAY above and beyond my expectations. If we ever move back to SA, M-Technik will always be our go-to spot. If you have a BMW in SA and want better, more transparent service than the dealer (and at a lower cost), you absolutely should trust M-Technik.

Extremely knowledgeable and passionate shop. No matter if your bmw is being a BMW and dumping coolant or youre building a race car, these guys have it handled.So my issue was that my e36 dumped coolant in the parking lot at work, I had no way to find out where it was leaking from so I called M-Technik to see if they could get me in quickly. They pressure tested my system and found the leak quick.

M-technik was a good experience. Been having an engine issue with my car. Called for a quick diagnostic fee, and they said will cost me nothing to look at it which usually Auto shops will charge just for that. Brought it by, wait was short. We took it for a drive. Told me my issue and broke down potential cost for me with numerous options. I trust them and will get all of my service done here from here on out.

Honestly these guys offer some of the best service EVER !!!! I took my Mini in for regular service, a tuneup and an engine mount. For everything that I paid it came out to be a fraction of just what ONE item would run me at the dealer. Alex listened to my needs and had my car ready the same day, WOW !!! I took my car here, they try to over charge you and tell you that you need to get all this extra stuff done that you dont need and they get mad when you tell them to do only what you asked them to do. Then when I pick up my car Alex points out that my coolant housing was leaking trying to make him some extra cash by poking my eyes out.. but I told him I just got that replaced. He didnt say much after.. it was only a bad cap (which they probably put on) then they wanna charge 360 to fix it... lol

This place rocks! I recently visited San Antonio and discovered that I had a torn axle boot. Since I was not familiar with BMW repair shops in San Antonio, I had to look at reviews for places near my hotel. The reviews were stellar so I called them and spoke with Alex. Alex was great; very friendly and helpful. He was able to look at my car the next day. That was awesome since I was leaving San Antonio in 48 hrs.The next day I pulled in the garage and Will(the owner who has many years experience as a BMW mechanic) examined my axle. Will explained my options and set realistic expectations. After speaking with Will I was confident that he would do a quality repair.I did end up having to leave my car overnight since they needed to order a part. I was so impressed with their service! Will corrected a couple of other small issues with my X5 for no additional cost. Wow! He even sanded and polished my headlights for a very reasonable cost. Will and Alex were awesome! Dont hesitate taking your BMW there. I like that they only work on BMWs. I wish I could take my BMW for future repairs! Thanks again for the awesome service!

Greatest Experience with car technicians EVER-These guys have a checklist for a checklist-Driving an older BMW (2009 X5 4.8i) repairs come up. Was a little overwhelmed with the quote from BMW in SA-called Alex and his quote was relieving, not only for me but, my family. I only give it 2 stars for their experience.They know their stuff but will poke your eyes out!!! Over 4k for a timing chain that jumped !?! Took it elsewhere & had an entire different motor put in for $2800! (only 63k miles on it w/ warranty!!) Nice shop yet OVERPRICED... I like the fact that its not like BMW of San Antonio, where you have to schedule an appointment and wait a month and a half to be seen. These guys took care of us. We were in and out with no problems. They explained everything to us. The mechanic Will, is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs, and the prices were very affordable. These guys rock. Their policy of fixing only what needs to be fixed has really helped keep my costs reasonable. When it comes to BMW work I cant give them a stronger recommendation.

Overall, the staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. I think the shop is understaffed; I have only ever seen two mechanics there at a time, but I think they are able to prioritize their work to get customers who need a fast turn around in and out. Generally, they respond to inquires in a timely manner, but there have been some instances where I did not receive responses as I would have liked. The prices have been fair, and cheaper than quotes I received from other places. I leave satisfied, and confident in their work. I have never been to the shop more than once for the same issue, as opposed to other shops in the past.

The team at M-Technik is just phenomenal. Fair pricing on maintenance and repair. Theyre always friendly and greet you as if they really care for your business (something I have not always gotten in auto shops in SA area). Whether youre bringing in your M car or a run of the mill X series, they dont care - they will take care of you.

Fantastic Service. Yesterday, with no prior appointment, just a call - I was told to drive over - so brought my wifes red 318ti in for what was assessed to be a rear axle-hub issue. Every mechanic and every lift BUSY. The place was PACKED. William, listening to my situation, then stopped what he was doing, came over and personally floor jacked the car, took off the wheel, figured out what was wrong, and then FIXED the safety issue with the hub - to get me back on the road without anxiety - just great!! Lets face it we dont drive toyotas, you know itll break eventually, and having a repair shop you can trust to take care of both you, your wallet and your car is vital. I called them on the phone as my car went into limp mode en route from Austin. Will told me to come on in so they could help me figure it out. I was amazed that I was allowed to read the codes along with the techs, so I had absolutely no doubt about the honesty and integrity of the people at M Technik. They fit me in the very next morning and all work was done exactly on time. I didnt even miss one bit of my conference. I couldnt be happier that I found this garage, and my 2008 X3 (Klaus) is happy too. Now if only I didnt have to come in from Austin each time!

I went here for the first time today for a minor problem. They helped me immediately and were very nice and very professional. I will be coming back again for any future problems with my BMW.

I originally thought this shop was going to be different then other misleading shops, but it seems as if i was wrong. My sister first took my car to this shop to get a quote on a repair of my BMW 325I transmission and was given a price to swap it out with a used transmission. They were polite and seemed to be honest to my sister. Then when i got involved, they at first confirmed the price they gave my sister 3 times, then my insurance agent came out to look at the car because i opened a claim for the damage that caused the damage to my transmission. After the insurgence agent left the guy i spoke to on the phone that worked at this shop showed up and i asked if he was the guy i was working with on the phone by name he first said NO he was not him, and then he asked his tech where did the insurance guy go and when i heard that i said you are the person i have been talking to and that i am the owner of the car and i am the one he should be talking to. He then at that time said oh yes i an the guy you have been talking to on the phone.

This is an excellent shop. These guys know everything about BMW cars and only cost me a fraction of what dealership charged me. I needed to fix my a/c, after 2 repairs under warranty at the dealership the a/c still wasnt cooling like supposed to, then i took my car to MTechnik back in July and they fixed right, the first time and cheaper than the dealer.

These guys really know their stuff. The car was fixed right the first time, with no need to return to the garage. They would not hand it back before doing extensive testing and test driving of their work.Alex, the principal, is not your typical mechanic: hes very friendly and approachable, rather than brusque and gruff. He made a connection with each individual customer as though they were the only customer in the place. He took ample time with each client, and did not rush anyone through the consultation, regarding them as though sitting at home in his den over beers. He worked with the extended warranty company to come up with a satisfying arrangement that was not at all painful to the bank account. He explained the cause behind each symptom, and used laymans terms without a lot of insiders jargon. He had a ready answer for all questions, and no question seemed too difficult. He demonstrated effective communication with and leadership of his workers. Most importantly, he did no up-selling to try to pad the final bill: if a repair wasnt required, he explained that it wasnt necessary. This visit was to check that the A/C was ready for the summer, but ended up with a serpentine belt wanting to be replaced. Alex opened the hood, and physically pointed out all evidence of the problem.Everything was clean and organized from the garage floor to the waiting room. The Casa Blanca approach from Broadway was surprisingly convenient to maneuver despite the road construction.There is no driver or shuttle service for pick ups and drop offs, but when the unit needed to be left overnight, M-Technik ordered up an Uber on their dollar - hows *that* for going over and above business as usual?Before the unit was returned, it was washed and vacuumed; a nice touch from other mechanics shops, who left greasy fingerprints and shoe marks on the vehicle.
