Oh boy… where do I begin?? I’m currently financing a vehicle through CNAC that I got from the Byrider lot on Bandera Rd 02/2020. Ive had several issues with the vehicle from the start. 1st issue was w the catalyst weeks after driving the vehicle off the lot. The service team “replaced it” and was covered under warranty.Now I’ve had the vehicle a year and 7 months and the engine according to the most recent work was replaced and covered under their warranty of 32k miles or 3 years whichever hits 1st.Even w the work done and the “replacement of my engine” I have a lot of concerns w this vehicle. The main one is me being upside down since I owe more than what the vehicle is worth.Second one, my vehicle was full of dust (inside and outside). I have no clue why or where it was at. According to the paperwork it says it was taken to Lalo’s for repairs. Lalo and his people should’ve left the windows closed. Now I have to detail the interior so my newborn baby doesn’t have to breath all the dust from their shop.3rd vehicle was returned to me with a cracked windshield 😔4th The check engine light came on by the time I got to my house 😩5th the in/out mileage on their paperwork states the vehicle was driven at least 10 miles while in their possession. Mileage of my odometer shows someone drove the vehicle a lot more than that.I have pictures that show the condition inside my vehicle (dust), the discrepancy with the mileage and cracked windshield.It also looks like someone had removed the whole dashboard cause AC vents weren’t even put back correctly. I’m no mechanic but I don’t think that’s necessary when replacing an engine.

Jessica moreno Was awsome she made the process quick and easy and got us into a 2013 chevy Malibu and i love it. She took the time to meet our needs and stayed passed close while all the other sales rep went home to make sure we left with a vehicle that day. 👍👍👍. Why i gave a 4 star was not cause the sales rep she was amazing. The 4 star was cause it has not been a week and 2 lights came on the TPMS which is the (Tire Pressure Monitoring system). Which to me is no biggie cause its not needed just like the ABS. ( Automatic Brake System). No biggie. Today the check engine light came on so i ran a diagnostic report with my mechanic and the code came back p2097 which is the power train system post catalyst fuel trim system high limit bank 1. In other words not enogh fuel /oxygen ratio. And a failing exhaust gasket. I will be taking it in monday.

This place is a scam I wouldn’t recommend it at all. I have paid more money fixing the car then it’s worth. I got my car repo from my job for 1 payment of 190 which was not my fault due to the sale person putting my card number wrong and that was so embarrassing at my job to have that happen then on top of that I had to pay over 500 to get it back because they change me the repo fees which like I said before wasn’t my fault. I had no choice but to barrow money to pay it because I had to get to work. On top of that when I got car heater didn’t work and trunk wouldn’t open but due to me purchasing the car close to closing they said for me to bring it back but the hours for service were the same ones I work and they didn’t do it on weekends I couldn’t take in so car started to overheat so I called and told them due to them telling it had warranty well when it came to getting car they tell me warranty didn’t cover that part and I would have to pay out of pocket and I paid another couple of hundred dollars to have car making noise and heater still ain’t working, they said I can bring it back in to fix which I couldn’t since I have to work and I would still have to pay another couple hundred for them to fix it. And now that we got snow I am screwed because it’s cold and I have no heater in car. I really thought this was a good place I was so wrong you will spend more money then what car is worth. Then today 500 was taking out of my bank from them without me know why when my payment is only 190 all I have to say is be careful what u get your self into.

I came here thinking I would get great quality service and instead I’ve received nothing but troubles. I’ve never ONCE been late to making a payment on my car but I’ve had it for a total of (2 months) and I’ve had to take it back to the dealer twice! I’m currently waiting on them to tell me where my car is or how much longer it’s going to take for it to get fixed but of course I keep paying the car! I just got my vehicle Friday December 4th. It was not a very good process uninformed about price or percentage rate on contract . Vehicle was supposedly checked over but ac is making noise , suspension is making noise and check engine light is on.

I havent had my vehicle long but in the short amount of time that I have had it, i have had some issues but Darcy in the service department has been awesome. She has been able to get my vehicle serviced in a timely manner. The entire staff has been great from the sale of the vehicle to the service the vehicle has needed.

I would definitely not recommend buying a car here they make it seem like it’s all good and dandy but sell broke down cars , i bought my car monday of last week and it broke down wednesday in the same week only drove 16 miles , tell me if that make sense and then they expect me to make a payment on friday the 24th and i haven’t even been in my car 3 days ? my car has been in the shop since Wednesday was promised it would be done Monday to find out there’s a whole other problem with my car and it won’t be ready until lord knows when . Mind you when I first bought my car my check engine light was already on and my oil was less than 2 quarts which I didn’t even know until my car broke down because I’m expecting my car to be running fine and everything checked because they promised that they serviced and inspected it .

We purchased a car from Byrider in Leon Valley. The car keeps breaking down over the same issue. They patch the issue up only for it to happen again, a day later , 2 weeks later, so on and so forth. Not worth the investment. Plus, they will continuously charge their labor fee even when its the same issue they have not fixed. For anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from here, please go somewhere else. Service is horrible and constantly giving the runaround when it comes to fixing your vehicle. Not to mention, they take such a long time to fix it.

Place is not what it advertises. Had trouble with two vehicles from 2 locations witnin first 2 weeks.. No service help on weekends.. But you can get a new car.. Got 2 cars neither of which are running... So now it is Tuesday no car yet... John said he might have it diagnosed in the morning.. Was waiting on the phone for 8 minutes on hold.. I have been without transportation since Friday... Fed up would love to talk to the owner personally.. What are chances of that!!!!!

I went to the Bandera location. Avery sold my son a GMC Terrain on October 7th. Less than 2 weeks the check engine light came on! We took it in to get taken care of! 3 days later it quit running! We had it towed in to get fixed AGAIN! Their service department is closed on weekends, and wouldn’t be looked at until Monday! I even spoke with the GM who’s name is Matt. Dora or Dorothy.. whatever her name is, told us it was the Catalytic converter & Spark plugs. It took 2 days to fix. We picked the car up, only to see it’s still doing the same thing. Took it in, Melissa said the timing chain needs to be replaced. They told me it’ll be ready in 2 days, only to get a phone call saying the motor is gone & needs replacing! THIS IS A LEMON! There’s a law against selling Lemons! Now we’re without a car 2 weeks! We have not had the vehicle 2 months! DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

I have had my car for about 4 to 5 montha absolute worst experience... Ive had to take it in almost every month ive had it for things ive told them was an issue and their reply is its a used car... Now i get that ive purchased used cars before... Serious issues though that shoudve been addressed before i drove off the lot... So this last time i had to get ankther engine... So i specified to make sure that the whole vehicle go through quality control to make sure i wouldnt have an issue... Lol.. So tonight i go to get in my car and the headlights do not work... I literally just got my car out of the shop acter i was told it was ready to go no issues.... I have no headlights like really... This location does a horrible job with follow up and proper maintenance and attention to detail... Its crazy... Will never recommend to anyone
