These guys were absolutely fantastic. Our closing date for our house kept getting pushed back and they kept working with us to make sure they could help. They showed up on time. Were very communicative day of. Got it done real quick and for much less than I was expecting. Fantastic job guys. I’d recommend The Official Moving Company to everyone. If I ever move again. I like these guys and will recommend them for all of my people in Austin. They got the job done, dont complain and arent afraid of sweating and heavy lifting.Are they the fastest ever moving company? No, but they didnt damage a single piece and I had my move in 2 parts. They move at the same pace as Einstein, but with more care. Unlike Einstein, they wont leave things behind and wont complain if youre picky about where things go and/or want to rearrange things after theyve unloading them.Unlike Einstein, these guys dont take lunch. They dont take 45 minutes to make a 15-minute drive. They placed everything exactly where I asked and they had zero attitude. Let me tell you, Im a picky customer and I had to have 3 moves to get all of my stuff over the course of a month from one home to the other. They did it well and Im going to use them again if I end up having another move in town.Ive had faster movers damage things by dropping them as theyre running with the dolly. At the end of the day, I dont expect them to be 10 times as productive as I would be just because theyre doing a job hourly. Theyre humans too. Does this mean theyre not fast? No, theyre just as speedy as I expect them to be. They make sure things are wrapped right (e.g. appliances/lamps/etc.), stack them right and place them appropriately. It is more important to me to not lose $500 in damage due to them rushing trying to get more jobs in, than to save $50-$100.Im writing this because theres a certain kind of clientele that this specific review will appeal to. Theyre the kind with lots of stuff that is valuable that theyd rather pay a little bit more to go with better movers than to just get day laborers who happened to rent a truck.

This moving company is an awesome one. Courteous movers, who were comfortable to talk to, professional in what they do and handled my belongings with much care and protection. We thought we could handle the move ourselves, but quickly realized we didn’t have enough time, energy, or strength. After my fiancé called around to a couple of places, the OWNER squeezed us in and he, himself, came to make our move a success. So appreciative of them. Unfortunately they missed the mark by a long shot. Quoted price after walkthrough and actual price were off by $2000. They bill hourly and have no sense of urgency. They didnt get everything and left us with another 2 hours of work. They were late both days. Promises of rebuilding all the furniture went out the door when they took way longer than they expected. Overall very bad experience.

Great service and friendly staff. Showed up early and worked quickly. However, I was disappointed that a foot to my dining room table was lost in the process, but no major harm there. They wrapped everything before moving and even disassembled and reassembled our furniture when needed. Would definitely use them again.

I have used this company 2 times in 1yr. We had several moves: House to storage and Apartment. Storage, Apartment to new house. None of my furniture was damaged, walls and floors not scratched, bedrooms, office, dining, nook, exercise room, and living room furniture fully assemble correctly. If I ever need another move I will contact this company.

Slowest moving company ever, definitely moving at a lazy speed to get the most money out of you. I do the same move every summer and takes about 2.5 hours every time and this company took 6 hours. Will never use this company ever and won’t recommend to anyone.

Update; I noticed our bed was sloping. Lifted the mattress up to find that they had thrown pieces under our bed instead of properly installing. Many pieces were not even screwed in or put together leaving us with a broken bead. I cannot stress enough that this company is awful!!!If I could give zero stars, I would. I almost didn’t write this review because I thought they had made things right. Do NOT do business with this company unless you want your items broken and nothing being said. Ten minutes after they left I noticed glue everywhere from where they had tried to glue a chunk of our nightstand together. I called them and specifically asked what else they broke. They lied and said nothing. Just found another glue spot on the dresser from where they broke it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have perfect stars because they “pay off” so they don’t get bad reviews. I’m disgusted with this business.

The official moving company came through and saved us on a last minute notice (again). My partner and I had scheduled to move out of our rental an into a new home but we noticed a last minute scheduling mistake with the first company we booked. The official moving company was able to come same day and move everything out of our two story rental swiftly and carefully. They put a lot of thought into the way everything needed to be packed into the truck and moved my antique curiosity cabinet and large (also heavy) work benches with no issues. I felt comfortable in trusting them with my large frameless mirrors as well. You can tell they take pride in their work and I highly recommend them for large moves like ours as well as for moving heavy and/or delicate furniture.The crew was friendly and overall had a great attitude, I enjoyed having them around as much as I appreciated their work ethic. I will definitely be using their services for ALL my future moving needs.

The team was very responsive - a little less than two days ago I hadn’t touched a thing in my old place, and I now write this fully moved into my new one. They came first thing in the morning, packed it all up professionally, and moved everything into all the new rooms. These guys are the real deal.I needed a new fridge as well, so they helped me pick it up from Home Depot, brought it to my house, and when we (they) realized it wouldn’t fit, took off my front door and got everything in like magic. These guys were great! They were able to help me move on a days notice. They showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work. All of our furniture was wrapped/packaged/covered as needed and moved without so much as a scratch despite there being MANY stairs involved in our move. This is a great company. Our movers that we had reserved and payed cancelled on us an hour before they were supposed to show. They came in and helped us when we were stuck. My story with this company is a little funny. A couple years ago, I really needed to get some heavy and unwieldy furniture moved last minute. I had one mover fail to move the table, and I had no time. I called dozens of companies and got a referral from another company to call Eddie. They rocked out the move, but I lost their card.Flash forward to last week. My movers screw up my scheduling, and literally have me set for a month later. Im moving into the house I just bought, and my lease is up. Again, dozens of movers unavailable. But then I called Texas Official Movers.They came through in a big way. We have a lot of unwieldy, fragile furniture and they made sure to take good care of our belongings. They arrived exactly on time and were professional and courteous the entire move. All of our belongings arrived safely and undamaged and were put into place by the team. Very punctual movers. Everything was done in a timely manner, very organized. I would really recommend them. Worked with me in anyway. I called them on a Saturday and they came on a Sunday. Quick service. Friendly guys. I couldn’t figure out how to unhook my washer and they came and unhooked it for me and moved it. Didn’t charge extra for the unhooking.

The owner of this (Mr.Eldris) company along with his team members was PHENOMENAL!!! This company had detail coverage concerningprotecting my furniture and even the floors into my new home. They place protective coverage even on the doorways. There wasnt any foul language and they remained professional at all time. They asked me where I wanted my belonging and placed them there. I was completely satisfied. Give them a try!! I will use this company again for my second move without hesitation! And the price was fair and good!

From the initial phone call and text communication to the estimate and completion, this coming was on time, professional, and they cared.Edis, Alex and Miguel( if I got his name wrong I’m so sorry) truly cared about packing, placement and moving every single item. My move was not an easy one as I have big furniture pieces from a house that went from an apartment with a tight corner and stairs to another apartment with two sets of stairs and 3 right corners. The move lasted a long time from 7:45 to about 3:15pm for my one bedroom townhome but they took care of every single item. The level of detail of how they wrap the doors, stairs, framing and items made me not care that it took a long time because I could tell they didn’t care about rushing away but that my items were delivered with care. Nothing was damaged and they even gave me advice on how to fix some things they noticed were damaged prior to their arrival.I would highly recommend them and would give them as many stars as possible. Moving is always stressful but they made it less stressful and I appreciate their service.

We called AAA moving Friday evening and they came out Saturday morning. They informed me when they would be there and were extremely punctual. I’d recommend them in a hear beat.
