Our realtor recommended that we contact Austex Moving once we decided to relocate from Austin to Georgetown. So after determining the closing date of our house we scheduled our tentative moving date/time with Jim Clark. Easy peasy, everything was set. CJ and his crew of two arrived right on time. After giving them the lay of the land tour they quickly began loading our stuff into their trailer. CJ organized the trailer while the other guys moved stuff from the house to the trailer. They took great care to minimize risk of damage in transport and generally treated our stuff like it was theirs. I certainly appreciate that very much. Reese and Jose were also very fun and personable guys who seemed to really enjoy their work and helped us during a stressful time while helping us take care of our needs. Highly recommend Austex Moving.

If you like inexperienced college students stepping on your mattresses/chairs/couches & breaking all your lamps...call Austex Moving. Worst moving experience ever! They were over 4 hours late & only called once they were on their way. Being 8 months pregnant this was the last thing I needed. Had to pick up my toddler from my friends house before they got there when they should have been nearly done with the move. They took no care at all in moving our things. They did take their sweet time driving (only 15 minutes away) to the new house. They showed up an hour later. (& yes, I was billed for their time off). I was quoted about 4-5 hours but it took the three of them 9&1/2 hours! Absolutely insane considering that the only furniture we had was our bed, a couple of chairs/glider and a crib! I mean...really????!!!! Please don’t make the same mistake we did. Go with a bigger company like Square Cow. They should be ashamed! This review is long over due, but I feel that it’s necessary. Do Not waste your time or money!

We called Austex orginally to move into a rental home a few years ago, and I forgot to review them.We recently just bought our first home and hired Austex again. They were fantastic both times. They worked fast and did a great job. We are very happy with the service they provided. We have and will continue to recommend them to our family and friends.

This crew was awesome! They moved me from my apartment in Georgetown to a house in Lampasas. It only took them 4 hours! The last moving crew I had took at least 6 hrs and they were only moving me right down the road! These guys are personable and so friendly. You immediately feel comfortable putting your belongings in their hands! Ill be using these guys again! This was an easy 5 star rating for me.

So my mother and father in law had to be out of their house because of closing. The movers came and met me and the family at their house. There was way more to move than what had been reported to me and relayed to Jim (Owner). They were very nice about it and even made a 3rd trip to try and help save my in-laws. We are extremely appreciative. The price is competitive or cheaper, and they are FAST! Worth every penny. Seriously these are the only movers you should trust.

Great moving company. I called and what they quoted was very competitive. At the last minute, we had to push our closing back and they were willing to work with me. They showed up when expected and they were willing to work until 7:30p to make sure we were moved. Great guys and u would recommend them to anybody and I have moved several times.

Had a great experience using these guys for my recent move. I scheduled very last minute and they were able to accommodate my schedule. Four guys showed up on time to my door and were able to get me out of my old place and into my place in record time with zero damage. Very courteous. Would highly suggest - great value for what you get. Their pricing is VERY competitive and all inclusive - I got four guys for the price for two movers at other companies.
