Toyota Sienna was services here. Saved me few hundred dollars compared to dealership. Used top of the line parts. After inspection I was Informed breaks may need to be replaced in 6 months . No BS or pressure to fix other stuff.

Their estimates are usually right on...most of the time the final cost comes out a little less than the original estimate. They do very good, honest work. Go here!! They don’t do foreign cars beyond simple breaks and such check here first, always. They are reasonably priced - they absolutely do not over charge for any repair. They are honest, straight forward and completely trust worthy. They always tell me what needs to be done now, what can be done later and if it’s something simple I could do myself they’ve told me that, too. When it was repairs that they didn’t do they had great referrals of shops that could do the shop that have the same attitude and service. My daughter showed up with a car that was acting up after she had her dad replace the O2 sensor and they even told her straight that it was a simple issue, the O2 sensor was in the wrong place and it was a simple fix to swap it around. They could do the work or she could have her dad move it to the correct place. They didn’t charge her a thing for the evaluation! You can’t beat the service here.

Almost hate to give these guys a great review as afraid more folks will take their cars to them and he will get to busy to do mine but these guys are just the best!! Reasonable and honest which is all you can ask for in a good mechanic!

Five stars for a reason

I took my car into E&T to have them give me a second opinion on a squeaking/ crunching noise coming from my rear wheel area when I went over speed bumps. They called me back after having my car for a few hours and said that they couldn’t find anything wrong with my car. This is after Honda Service wanted to charge me ~$630 for front shocks and struts to be replaced. E&T didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis! I’m so grateful I came here. I will be back!

A friend had refer me to E&T automotive after having been given an estimate for a brake job from Tuffys for over $700! After reading all the rave reviews about their honesty, workmanship and price I made an appointment. They took a look at my car and said only the front brakes really needed to be fixed. They replaced the front brakes, resurfaced the rotors, and then some and left only paying $200. The guys there were great. Im very happy I found them. I will definitely bring my car there from now on and refer everyone I know there as well.

This is the best place ever to get your car repaired. I have a 2004 Impala with over 176000 miles and these guys keep it running for a reasonable price. They are also extremely professional. I highly recommend E&T Automotive for all your auto repairs.

Some other shop quoted me a big price to replace my steering rack (said it was a stage 2 leak) and I came here for a second opinion. They found the steering rack was fine and told me what to look and listen for in case it does start leaking. Im very thankful to not be spending a ton of money on an unnecessary repair. The oil change was slightly pricier than the place I used to go to but I appreciate the honesty and helpfulness, so its worth it

Very good service. I set an appointment to get my ac looked at, and they called me a couple hours later. The price they quoted me was much less then the other place I went to for an estimate. They fixed it right away. I had my car back the next day. Very friendly as well. I will go back if I need any other work done.

Good, Honest, and Affordable. How often can you find that in a mechanic? Will always tell you whether or not you truly need something, and have even stopped superfluous repairs when requested. Told me I could change your radiator fluid, but Id just put the stuff youve got in my car, theres miles and miles left to go on it. Been here several times and the service is always expert and professional. A true gem. Appointments are recommended.

My sister recommended this place when a local chain quoted me more than $500 to do work on my brakes. E & T did for nearly half. More impressive to me was that I recently had my car towed in due to loud noises in the front end. They drove it and didnt hear any noise. They said it could have been something caught in the wheel well that had since fallen out. They could have taken me for a ride, but didnt. Honest folks!

Ive been using Tommys Service now at E&T Automotive for over 3 years now, and he is always extremely honest and forthcoming with any information needed. We have had some MAJOR work done on two of our vehicles - both A/C systems on each of our vehicles was out and we thought the repairs were going to be thousands of dollars but Tommy actually only did what he thought we needed.One other thing - on our old 99 Ford Taurus, we had a Master Cylindar light coming on, so I took it into him to look at, and he told me that those lights come on for that type of vehicle, he tested the part out, and according to him, it worked perfectly - he told me that I could replace it, but that it would probably need to be replaced again in a few months because the light would come back on - that was just the nature of our vehicle - so, he actually didnt make any money at all on a part which I believe other shops would have blindly replaced over and over and over again - This shop will always have my business as long as Tommy is there because I know he will only do what is necessary when it is necessary!

Have been told for several years to try these guys out.Was I wrong for being hard-headed and not going sooner.Had a common problem with my car. In North Austin, the long time place we have gone to looked my car over and wanted 1000, and another place we took the car to in Gtown wanted 1200.E & T over the phone said it was a common problem for my make and model. The common fix for 2 part repair is 400, and if full repair was needed it would be 800 for 4 parts. I was expecting the 400 fix.They called me up and told me it only needed one part repaired for 250, even after I told them what the other places wanted to clean me out for.This place is too honest for their own good: I appreciate their integrity.I no longer need the phone numbers to the other shops.

Honest, reliable, quick turn-around and fairly priced. I found out about this shop through a friend and nobody in my 30+ years of being a car owner has ever provided the quality of service these guys do. I moved 23 miles away and tried to use a shop close by. At first it seemed okay but very quickly I was in a huge mess with a recently purchased pre-owned vehicle and my new shop told me the entire engine in my car needed to be replaced. I called on E&T Automotive for advice, they took a look at it and promised me that was not the case. I am several months out and guess what, they were right! Today I am calling for an appointment to take care of a minor issue and from now on I WILL DRIVE 23 MILES FOR AMAZING RELIABLE SERVICE!

I’ve used these guys for the past 3 years. Always great work and they charge an honest price. On 9/27 (a Thursday) my alternator goes out. I call the shop and they say to have it towed in but the earliest they can get to it is Thursday 10/4, and they couldn’t guarantee it would be done that day. Well, that is not great, but I trust their work. I’m not going to take my truck to a random shop when I have mechanics I trust. Problem is I was getting married on 10/6 in Boerne TX and was leaving town 10/5 and my truck was going to be needed for transporting and picking up many things. I go in panic mode. I start looking at rentals and calling friends to see if there are any trucks I can borrow. Things were not looking good and I was preparing to tell my (now) wife that there was going to be a snag in our plans. But then I got a phone call from E&T- on the 27th- the day it was towed in. They said they heard I was getting married next week and called a few customers that didn’t mind pushing me in front of them to the top of the list. My truck was going to be ready by 4pm that day and they congratulated me on my upcoming wedding! THEY EVEN GAVE ME A DISCOUNT ON THE LABOR!!!!! Apparently my sister called them and told them the situation, and they made some moves! I will always be grateful and will be a customer for life. I also want to thank the customers they called that allowed my truck to be sent to the top of the list for repairs. These guys are awesome, are honest, and do great work. I can’t recommend them more! This was my first experience with E&TAutomotive and wont be my last! Kept taking my vehicle to Gilberts Auto Repair Shop they claimed they fixed my A/C but my vehicle A/C kept blowing hot air and they were unable to figure out why! I decided enough is enough and tried this place. Took it to E&T mechanic informed me compressor was not coming on or grounded right off top! Guess what, A/C now blowing snowballs just in time for the summer heat! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality honest work! Thanks guys!

After being lied to about brakes needing done I come here and they say Ive got 1-2 years left in em. Saved me about 400 bucks. Then my wheel cylinder blew so we drove it up here ( yes drove ) and got it serviced...200 dollars give or take for new wheel cylinders in both sides with new shoes because they noticed they could take their finger nail and scrape layers of the shoe off... Wow, I was quoted well over 300 for wheel cylinders alone at auto one and brake check blatantly sabatoged them so... Yeah these guys are great, theyll do it right and do it the honest way.

Excellent service on automotive repairs and cars extended warranty checkups and oil changes. They only fiz what is needed and they are fair and reasonably priced.

I guess Im going to be the outlier here. We brought my wifes running SUV in due to a leaking head gasket, which they fixed. We finally left with a vehicle that sputtered down the road and barely ran. In between the vehicle had been brought back multiple times, and we were charged for work that fixed nothing. Finally they were done with it and we were stuck with the problem. We had to fix it ourselves. I used an engine diagnostics program Torque for my phone and tracked it to two coil packs that went bad under E&Ts care. Replaced them with two coil packs from my truck (same engine) and we were back running. Its ok not to know how to fix something. Its not ok to be smug, incompetent, and leave your customer worse off after they leave your shop. Not saying I wouldnt consider going there again as odd as that may sound. It could have been an outlier. But they were given every chance to fix it which is all anybody would ask and they left me with a very negative view of the quality of their work.

Recently I broke down in Round Rock on my way out of town for the weekend. I called E&T, they sent out a tow, diagnosed my problem, and scheduled the repair the same day. A technician even came in on a Saturday to turn the job around. I got back on the road in time to salvage my long weekend, and the work was priced lower than I expected. Cant do any better than this shop if youre in the North Austin or Round Rock area.
