AB&T is quite possibly one of the best diesel shops I’ve been to in Texas.Cody and his crew took great care of my Ram 3500 and even took the time to school me on the differences from the older diesel trucks and my new 2020 Ram as I had a few questions.Highly recommend if you own a diesel truck that needs work to call and set an appointment.

Honestly I would give no stars if that was an option. I took my truck here after seeing the reviews and high ratings thinking (This is the place.) After it sat at the ford dealership for 3 months (without it ever being touched) I had it towed here. Even on their website it states We will have your vehicle done in no more than 2 weeks.It has now been almost 4 weeks and they WILL NOT pick up my 0hone calls at all or call me back even after leaving voicemails and emails.My dad didnt believe me so week before last in front of my dad I called.... No answer. So my dad calls from his phone about 5 min later and what do you know.... Answered on the 2nd ring. They made excuses to why it hasnt even had a diagnostic test ran and promised they would get it in first thing the following Monday...... Have not heard a single word from them at all.And I spent quite a bit of money getting it towed 62 miles to them just so I knew it would be done right... Thats right 62 miles so its not like I can just go over there real quick bc its about 3 hours of driving their and back. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had. Well that I havent had I should say since I can not get a hold of them for the life of me. Will be taking my truck somewhere else. Now my truck has been out of commission for over a quarter of a year!I pray the next place will have their business in order even if its just to call me and say, Hey its going to take a bit longer or something... Anything except for absolutely nothing.

These guys are great to work with. Cody runs a good crew at the shop. Sometimes it takes a few days for them to get to your truck but the fact that theyre so busy speaks volumes. They always fix my issues and fix them right. Not many companies work with older trucks but they are very knowledgeable about all things diesel! Highly recommend them

The owner Danny Runyon goes over and beyond to satisfy customers to a point you fill guilty for his hospitality. Anyone who has ever said otherwise has been misled by others. So far so good. Just wish they would call when something is wrong. Was supposed to pick up truck but due to some transformer issues it delayed me from getting my truck. A simple phone call helps. Will have to wait an extra 2 days. Thank goodness this isnt the only work truck we own! Hopefully Thursday Ill have better views.

My transfer case literally blew up on I-35 right outside AB&T Diesel repair. If it was going to happen, this was the best place it could have. Austin and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. It is a 2006 F350 diesel, so finding the parts were a little tricky. I was kept informed of both time table and cost. They told me what needed to be done, and what should be done. I made decisions based on their expertise, and my budget. These big trucks are not cheap to keep running, but the AB&T team use quality parts and stand behind them and their labor. Their pricing is fair. My truck was returned to me running perfectly. My thanks to Austin and all of AB&T for getting it running better than ever. I highly recommend them for all your diesel needs!

Just a quick noteAustin and his staff are amazing. Had my truck in over a month ago and 2 items popped up after the repairs. I called and Austin said get it in and we will take a look at it. Not only did they look at that day they opened up a lift and knocked it out in day. Everything they told me they have followed through in full. Also they have gone over and above to make sure I was taken care of. Best diesel shop in town. I would know Ive been trying to find a good trustworthy shop for years. Ive definitely found my new shop for all my diesel needs. A big thanks to the crew.

I am so grateful I called AB&T! I RV full time and was just passing through the area. They were able to work me in on a Friday and get my truck taken care of in a couple of hours. My truck is a 7.3 so sometimes parts can take time to track down. They were able to get what they needed from one of their donor trucks. I am very happy with the outcome. I had some tuning and repair work done on my 2010 Dodge 3500 about a month ago and could not be happier with the job done. The office staff, technician and people that I spoke to were professional and courteous and made me feel confident that I was getting exactly what I needed to fix the issues I had. All questions that I had were answered and the work was completed in a timely manner. The folks here went out of their way to ensure that I, as well as my vehicle, were treated well. I have two diesel trucks and will return here for all my future repair and tuning needs.

Customer service was fantastic, these guys know exactly what they are talking about and get things done very fast and right the 1st time, any questions that you have they are ready to answer them. Ive never written a review on any company, but I felt compelled to say their Customer Service is beyond excellent. Austin will always be fair and upfront with you. He will even work with you on price and labor in most cases. The guys in the shop will take the time to explain exactly what they have seen before and what they have seen to work the best for upgrades or repairs.

This place is AWESOME. I had some work done on my truck. Austin talked me through the details, had very in-depth knowledge of options, and made it happen. I feel like the attention to detail was better than the vast majority of other shops Ive engaged with over the years. I usually try to offer suggestions for improvement when I leave reviews. I cant think of any. If you need some work, this place wont wont you down. Its a full service shop for your diesel truck.

I had all 8 injectors replaced in my 06 f350. For a great price. They also fixed two exhaust leaks that they did not charge me for. The truck is running like new. The shop was easy to work with. They got the job done in a timely fashion for a great price....any future repairs on my truck, this is the shop its going to!!!!

The owner has been very helpful with trying to figure out why my check engine light keeps coming on. I dont know if it has been corrected yet after five trips to get it resolved.From a customer point of view the owner seems to have too much on his plate. I dont know if he has a parts person (it doesnt seem like it) but a parts guy could assist taking some of the workload off his shoulders and giving better customer satisfaction.

Im not much for writing reviews but felt AB&T was worth my time to comment about. I went in to improve the performance of an older 1996 F350. Went in initially for advise and some direction. Suggested the best bang-for-the-buck tuner for my application and got installed right away.- Straight forward consultation.- No upselling.- What Austin told me it would cost prior was what I paid. No BS added costs.- Said he would get done same day. Done by noon!It is really good to have left a truck (or any auto repair) repair facility and feel like you you have been treated fairly. Not common now days. This kind of service and integrity are hard to come by. Cant speak well enough of. Sure wish they did home repairs.

Took my truck in for a fuel leak. It was a pretty minor repair, but Joe kept me up to date by phone several times, which I thought was great. Price for the fix was very fair and turn around time was pretty good based on how busy they appear. Will return for sure.

I have a 2015 6.7l F250 and after getting a check engine light and seeing it was for an emissions related component per the Ford Sync diagnostic scan I looked up local diesel shops. I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable guy and have many years of working on my own vehicles, however this is my 1st diesel so I wanted to take it to the best shop I could. After an hour or so doing some research I decided that AB&T would be the place. I dropped by, spoke to Austin and we discussed the possible reasons and solutions. Overall I am very impressed with Austin, Cody (the tech who worked on the truck) and the price for the work done. Called on the phone super friendly. drove up whole bunch of power strokes know what theyre talking about gave me lots of advice what to do how to do it. Definitely give this place 5 stars. Not one single bad thing to say about them.

Finally, after several years of not-so-good experiences, I found a real Super Duty repair shop. True diesel experts. Austin, the shop manager is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great techs. You can expect honesty and great work from these guys. Highly recommend.

I have a 2012 F250, the truck in the middle of a Wednesday night kicked on the dreaded exhaust fluid system fault and was going into limp mode in 50 miles. On Thursday morning I called and spoke to Austin and had 15 miles to make it to one place. he was very professional and knowledgeable about the truck, so I used my last of the miles to get there from Leander and passed other several diesel repair places to do so. I could not have made a better decision! he knew I was in a pickle and limited on the funds I had, but wanted to do some upgrades to the exhaust system and out a tuner in the truck. He did not try to upsell me on anything, he gave me several options with price points from very affordable to highest end of stuff I could do. We discussed it very thoroughly and what would give me the most bang for the buck. Within 24 hours I had a call that my truck was ready! I am so glad I found a new place for all my diesel needs! On top of it the truck performs the way they are supposed to and I cant even begin to explain the power I got from it and with 37s on the truck I have already seen a 2.5mpg increase. I highly recommend anyone and everyone using them for anything from basic maintenance to upgrades. They will do you right and not empty your pocket book! Thanks guys! Very impressed with the overall experience. I was given a thorough explanation of costs and timelines. They called to give me updates on progress of my repairs. Cost was actually less than expected. AB&T recently worked on my 5.9 Cummins and did a great job explaining my options. I am confident they will stand by their work. Definitely not the cheapest shop around, buy they wont use parts or methods on your truck that they wouldnt use on their own. Once I approved the estimate, all work was completed in 48 hours (clutch, lift pump, and injectors). A+ work!

Took my 17 year old PS F250 in for issues with booster pump and power steering. Austin and team treated me fairly and explained everything thoroughly. Although I had to take it back for a power steering hose leak, they made it right. Ive been looking for a shop I can trust and feel like I have found it.

Cody first suggested a few remedies that I could use to fix the problem. When the problem became more complex, I dropped the truck off and had it back in one day. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

Austin does fantastic work. Last month, when I had a coolant leak, it happened literally hours before a trip across the country. Austin moved things around to fit me in, immediately found the leak and repaired it expertly. This month, I had a drivers side wheel bearing fail and it also happened just before a major trip. Austin fit us in, and beat his original time estimate on when it would be done. Bottom line: lightening fast repairs at affordable prices backed by expert diagnosis and labor. What more could you ask for?

After using another diesel shop in Georgetown for some repairs and modifications a few months ago my turbo fittings basically blew up on me on the way home. I called the original shop and asked a few questions and the response left me thinking I needed another opinion. So I called AB&T and spoke with Austin. After a few questions and answers he assured me he knew exactly what was wrong and that it was most likely caused by the work done at the previous shop. He had my truck towed to his shop and called me back the same day with a diagnosis and plan for getting it fixed. it was exactly as he expected the previous shop did a bad and sloppy job. He backed this up by showing me the parts they used ( some were not even for my model truck). It was obvious.So I authorized the work and they had it fixed the next day, when I went in to pick it up, I first noticed lots of trucks like mine in various states of repair and many mechanics working through out the shop, that was impressive,then I met with Austin and Cody the young man who worked on my truck. They walked me through the whole process showing me the problems with the original shop (this is when they showed me the other shops parts), then they showed me the new parts they used and then went out to my truck and actually showed me the work. Again I was very impressed. They re tuned the truck for me for free and told me that if I wanted that adjusted they would do that for free as well. Austin had compassion for me, knowing I was pretty much out the money I spent at previous shop and gave me what I consider a very reasonable price for the work he did. My truck runs great, really great.I am happy to have found a shop that I feel like I can trust and definitely give these guys 5 stars. If you are looking for a shop to work on your diesel truck, call Austin and speak to him about it, I think thats all you will need to make a selection. I highly recommend these guys.

Do not use this shop! My truck sat there for over three weeks. I was quoted $2,600 for the original repair which I agreed to have done. The day my truck was supposed to be done, I was told it would be another 4-5 grand for a different repair. Throughout the three weeks they would rarely answer my phone calls and kept telling me they were still waiting on parts. Long story short, I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated and would never use them again!

Had extensive work performed on Ford 6.0 F250They did what they said they would do and even went above and beyond by taking care of few extra things they found and did not charge me. I was told after the repairs and the bulletproofing/Delete I should get 200,000 worry free miles . The truck has never run better & I feel I’ll get those 200,000 miles with no problem. Suggest anyone with a diesel go to AB&T, they know what they’re talking about.

Went in to take my “bullet-proofed” 6.0 Powerstroke that was leaking coolant. Previous mechanics who had done the bullet-proofing said that it was normal to leak on the given tune, but Cody knew right off what the problem was. Cody and his crew were outstanding in repairing and bullet-proofing my 6.0 Ford Powerstroke the RIGHT WAY explaining every bit of the work being done. Now, no more leaking coolant, and she’s never run better. If you want your 6.0 L Powerstroke done right, come here. If you want a fair, honest price, this is the place. HIGHLY recommend.

If you have a Ford 6.0L, you will need to work with a shop that has the knowledge and ability to deal with maintenance and troubleshooting. Many profess to have the knowledge but in reality, they swap parts (at your expense) in an effort to get lucky and solve the problem. That would describe most of the Ford dealers as well. AB&T immediately identified and solved a problem with my turbo charger that had evaded others. Thanks AB&T!

I took my 2008 F350 into AB&T for a check engine light. Turns out it was just a thermostat that needed to be changed. Another shop showed me a ticket for $1450 for everything BUT a thermostat. I was in and out the door for under $200. Very honest shop. Also very busy, I can see why!

I was having power issues with my truck pulling a 15000 lb 5th wheel, especially up long hills. I went to AB&T to discuss the problem, they gave me several solutions and the prices associated with each solution. They got me in the next day ! I got my truck back and I am thrilled with the performance. Great job guys ! I will be using you in the future if needed and will recommend you to anyone with diesel issues. My husband called and spoke to Austin about what was going on with his Ford F-350 4x4 Turbo Diesel truck. Had them do a buyers inspection on a 2011 F250 because I didnt trust the seller. They found out what I needed to know in order to make an informed decision. They worked with me to ensure that after I had bought the truck, I ended up getting only the work done that was needed to make the truck work the way I needed it to work for the longevity of the truck. Because they listened to me and my intent, they found the root cause of a problem that would have hurt the truck down the road and fixed it within the scope of the other work I was having done, I know that this will save me many thousands of dollars down the road.

I was traveling from Alabama across Texas when I started using coolant in my 2008 6.4 F250. I did some research and landed at AB&T. Austin stayed late on a Friday to get my truck in and out of the shop. My coolant tank had a stress crack in the very bottom where you couldnt see at all. I thought for sure I had a blown head gasket and was ready to spend the money. They could have easily said that was my issue and I would have done the repair. If you make it to their Shop you will see why they are such FORD guys... at least 20 powerstroakes there. Thanks again Austin!!

I had been wanting to do some mid-level mods to my Cummins, but past experience had me dreading the lag time that I might be without my baby. After just a few minutes with Austin at the shop those concerns were lifted but I was still skeptical about the turnaround promise. Props to Cody(they call Cooter because hes the Dodge guy) for delivering on SAME DAY turnaround. Wouldnt have believed it possible to deliver on that promise before calling, but these guys have my business for anything else from now on. Very happy.

These guys really (Austin) helped me out in a bind. I brought something up there they usually don’t work on (mustangs) and they really helped me out. Great shop!

Nightmare on interstate 35. Spend of ton of money(over $3K) on 2 repairs and then AB&T told me to replace my defective engine at a cost of $5K. Dissatisfied I took it to Open Road(Round Rock) and they replaced parts that were supposed to be replace on the AB&T repair at a cost of $1.1K. 6 months later more problems with the 2nd AB&T repair. Another $1k to repair previous work done by AB&T. Both AB&T repairs were shoddy workmanship and they didnt stand behind their work. I found out after the fact that AB&T was being sold. New owner didnt care either.Be careful, this not a place of quality or integrity Somewhat un-professional IMO.

I just moved and am always skeptic of mechanic shops but needed to find someone. These guys were honest! Didnt try to haggle me into work I didnt need though they definetely could have cause the dealership told me I had a huge oil leak problem! Took good care of my truck and I had it back within 2 days. Worked with me, a single mom of 4, on the price which is hard to come by now days.....AND IT HAD NO OIL LEAK! Great group of guys there. I found MY new mechanic shop!

AB&T diesel is a SCAM. They are a RIPOFF.I purchased Austin Stouts boat from AB&t Diesel. He had it towed to calif, which I asked him not to, as these trailers were not made to tow cross country. He did it anyway, and when it got here, the fender was bent in due to the tire blowing out on the trip. The lights were torn off, the interior seats were ripped. I got a estimate of $1,250.00 to repair the damages. I asked Austin if he would pay for the repairs, and he refused. Austin stout said he would send me $800 of it but he had to save it up. Well its been 10 weeks and still no payment from ab&t diesel. Stay away from this place. A business is only as good as the people who work there, and AB&t diesel will lie and cheat you. Austin ripped me off and he will do the same to you. There are other places in Austin to take your diesel , where they are honest and trustworthy. This is not Spam. Austin Stout the owner does not want you to know the truth.AB@t diesel is a SCAM. His reply to my review is another lie. He ripped me off for $1260.00 and he knows it. He continues to lie to you as he did to us. Austin Stout is running a SCAM out of the building in round rock, Tx. Save your money and court costs. Stay away from this thief, hes gotta be doing drugs. And he belongs in jail for Fraud.

I bought a used 6.0 that already had studs full delete and 5in exhaust with 200k brought to Austin for fluid change. A couple of months later had him replace the injectors and put a tune in it. Picked it up and drove it to Des Moines Ia, the next day. I was averaging 20 mpg @85 mph. Just got back and taking it in on Tues for an oil change!

Austin and his guys went above and beyond to get my 2013 F350 back on the road. Have for sure found my new diesel mechanics for any future endeavors.
