Amazing office staff, beautiful and much-ventilated apartments. The view from my apartment is breathtaking every evening when it’s a sunset. Friendly Neighbour’s, safe gated community, fast maintenance service. You should give it a try for a year!! I’ve lived here for a couple of years now...still enjoying my staycation πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈP.S. No one forced me to give this review so don’t decide on the bad reviews!!

Lone Oak apartments is THE best apartment complex I have ever stayed in. My wife fell in love with this complex the day we toured it and we have been living at Lone Oak for the past 4 years. The staff here are amazing and the maintenance crew stays on top of things. We have never had to wait no longer than a day or two for our requests to be handled. The residents at Lone Oak are respectful and quiet and we have never had any issues with any of our neighbors. The apartments are nice and spacious and have nice and clean amenities such as a clubhouse, gym, dog park, and two pools for your use. We recommend Lone Oak to everyone we know and feel lucky to spend the last four years as a resident here. We love it here!!

We could not be more grateful to be living in Lone Oak due to the peaceful and orderly environment. They even exceeded our expectations during this severe winter weather that Texas just recently went through. Our apartment NEVER lost power and water!!! And when I posted questions about one of our faucets in our online portal, I immediately got a call from maintenance to troubleshoot! Then as soon as we hit above freezing temps, the management already had crew working around the community to clean up the fallen trees/branches and made it look like nothing happened! We simply love everything about our apartment and community! 5 stars all the way!

BEWARE!My two other roommates & I were tenants for ten months. The gate was always broken, the maintenance guys were never on call even for urgent things such as a snake being outside our neighbors door (Animal control was not available at the late hours & they suggested the maintenance team.) On two occasions there were impromptu REQUIRED visits by staff &/or other personel with very late notice. The first time was alleged for assessments of apartment units & the second was for fire safety. On neither occasion were we present at the same time to prevent potential theft / protect privacy or calm our dog, both occasions were while all of us were at work or away.We extended our lease for a month once ours was set to expire so we could move & the office gave us a prorated quote then charged us more than was established on the document. When it came to turn in our keys they had the audacity to ask us where the gate remote was which they failed to give us when we first got the apartment. We had been using the gates pin console the entire time. After living at a new apartment complex they still havent refunded our deposit despite it being a month & a half past due.If youre looking for an apartment complex that will leave you frustrated & wont live up to their promises wether its lease agreements, deposit refunds or quotes. Youre in luck cause these apartments & the office staff are awful.

Professonalism, Customer service, Trust, taking responsibility for ones self actions and the way one talk and treat Residents as they see Us rather Me as BENEATH THEM talking to me with No Compassion as If I was a childthat has disrespectfully addressed them, is everything as it relates to a Healthy Environment and Community which is not what Ive experienced here at all as it relates to management and its Administrative staff. As for Maintenance and Some of our Neighborly community its Great which is the reason I gave two stars other than if Lone Oak Administrative staff/Management were to stand alone without its Neighbors and Maintenance I would give NO STARS for my Personal awful unwanted experience.

The property management company recently sold this property. The new company is absolutely horrendous. They completely changed the website and provided no way for me to register on the new one. When trying to register it will not allow me to create a new account and pay my rent. It appears they are doing everything they can to prevent long time tenants to be able to pay their rent as easily as they have been with the original company. I have been a resident for almost two years here and its a shame the new property management is this terrible to their tenants. Stay far away from this complex.

As others have said, this is a great place to call home. I love my apartment. The maintenance guys have treated me so well! I will forever be thankful to them. They go out of there way to help residents out when its not even asked for. Ive even called the office and asked for them and they were at my garage in less than 5 minutes. I truly love Lone Oak and have never lived at a complex like this. Ive lived in multiple apartment complexes for over 20 years and I have to say that this property and this staff are by far the best that I have ever experienced. My only issue, small issue would be that my trash wasnt picked up one night but I let mgmt know and the company came back and picked the trash up. It ended well and no harm here. 5 stars for lone oak and its tremendous staff!

He handled everything well and followed through. Another thing is that I havent had any issues with finding a close parking spot which is usually a huge issue at apartment complexes. I rarely have to park out of my way. Im loving all the amenities and plan on being here a long time:)

I’ve been living here for about half a year now and I absolutely love it! My apartment is beautiful, I never have issues with finding a parking spot close by-I actually end up in the same one or two spots everyday when getting home from work, never hear my neighbors, it’s a very safe community- I had a package delivered while I was gone for a few days and when I got back if was still on my doorstep, maintenance came less then 24 hours after my request(which you can do online!). I definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.

After living in this complex for over a year, I am sad to say I would NEVER recommend living here to anyone. First, over half of the reviews left on facebook, yelp, google, etc are faked from employees in the office (Dylan and Stephanie specifically). They leave comments under their profile and multiple fake accounts. Not only is limited parking an issue, the gates do not work. I would have to get out of my car and physically push open the gate. At time of move out, Alexis informed us that the manager would not be available to do a walk through with us and would schedule a time with us to do so. That never happened. After reaching out to them several times, we were finally informed that Stephanie went ahead and did a walk through by herself and refused to do a walk through with us. Days later, we receive an email notifying us that we will not be getting our deposit back AND we owe them $500+ to replace carpet because there was a dime sized spot of baking soda on the carpet. Be very wary of the office staff, they will be over the top nice to you until they cant get any more money out of you. Get everything from them in writing or they claim it never happened. Do not recommend living here.

As a current resident I can say that the apartments themselves are pretty nice. Its a nice quiet area with nice views. I hardly hear noises from my neighbors, and its nice that I only share one wall with my neighbor. However management and maintenance is terrible. When we first toured the apartments, the main manager Chad told us that all carpet in the apartment would be new. However when we moved in the carpet was dirty and looked like it hadnt even been replaced. When we brought it up to his attention he denied ever telling us the carpet would be new, and offered to replace it. At that point all of our stuff was already moved in, and he told us that we would have to move everything out again. Imagine how convenient it is to just move everything out from a third floor apartment is just so that they can come in and do something that shouldve been done before we moved in. Its not. We chose not to have the carpet replaced and got a garage first month off as courtesy, and we were also told that we would not have to worry about a carpet replacement charge upon move out for any damages on the carpet. My boyfriend and I asked to have that in writing to cover out butts in case Chad tried to go back on his word later like he did before when he said all carpet would be new. We had to wait about 7 months to get that letter, every time my boyfriend would go for the letter it was never ready. Almost like he was stalling. When my boyfriend went in the last time for the letter, not only was Chad was very rude, and tried to get smart with my boyfriend. For the past two months we have also been struggling with a leak in our apartment. Every time weve asked for an update of for a call of when maintenance would be coming in to fix it, weve received about 2 updates in the whole 2 months that weve been dealing with this. Both updates only came because my boyfriend had to call and go to the office continuously to remind them that nothing had been done. The best they can do is try to enter the apartment and leave a note saying my dog needs to be put away before they come in. Which obviously i would put my dog in the room, IF I HAD ANY IDEA THEY WERE GOING TO BE COMING INTO MY APARTMENT THAT DAY. There is no point is going to management with any issues. Chad is very rude when you are persistent (which we wouldnt have to be if he could just do his job). I mean for goodness sake it took him 1 minute to write a letter in pen that we were supposed to have almost 8 months ago, and he only did it because my boyfriend had to go in there and talk to him and have him write the letter in front of his face so we could finally have it. The other manager there pretends she had no clue on whats going on, even though my boyfriend has pretty much talked to everybody there about the situation.Point is if you expect timely maintenance, and managers who care about their residents and not just about collecting their money (because theyll call you to tell you youre late on rent, but wont call you when its something you need), dont move here. Ive attached a picture of the leak, as you can see its really close to the light, and weve had it go in and out when the water goes inside the light cover. Which scared me that if we leave the light on it will spark a fire with the water.

Ive been living at Lone Oak for about a year now and most everything has been great. Its the best apartment Ive lived in and its the eighth apartment Ive experienced. The office staff is friendly and helpful and the apartment, which I think was built by Lincoln Properties, is the pinnacle of luxury finishes at a reasonable price. A couple of down points to the apartment, though, are that the walls/windows seem a bit thin and let external sound in and that the construction of another apartment has obstructed the beautiful city views that I had from the Phase 2 side. But overall Ive been very pleased with my living experience here.

I used to put the blame on the upstairs tenants, but honestly it all falls back on management. The noise from upstairs and paper thin walls have been a complaint since moving in. I took all of the necessary steps on addressing it to the office and they couldnt care less from start to finish. My roommates and I chose to live here, as we are focused students needing a home of peace and quiet to focus on course curriculum/relax. I definitely feel that Chad didnt take any of us seriously due to our age. Since we were young, he took us for granite. Even upon submitting our 60 day move-out notice, he didnt care to know why or what they could do for us, as we have been respectful and loyal tenants thus far. In short, there was lots of promises from management but no action to back it up. Even if you are a great tenant they dont seem to care one bit. This three bedroom apartment is an unlivable dark dungeon.

This staff and management have done everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and happy here. I have never lived in a place where they make you feel like they would actually want to get to know you rather than just you being another tenant and get nothing but the minimum. The apartment complex is actually very quiet and thats another awesome thing that I love! Not quiet enough to where you cant have a little fun every now and then but theres just an environment around the place that makes it feel very mature and safe for me as well as my family. Lone Oak was the first apartment weve ever lived in. My family had rented houses in the past, but when moving to Austin we decided to take the gamble and see what apartment living was all about. We had only intended to stay for one year before buying a house, but our experience was so good we ended up staying for 3 years. The apartments here are very nice, with incredible views. Our 3 bedroom was spacious and had plenty of storage (not only did every bedroom feature a walk-in closet, but there were a couple linen closes and one in the entryway, too). The granite counter tops, open floor plan, and the large balcony were all great. Overall, we just really liked the aesthetic of the apartment. It fit well with our modern decor, but I think it would go well with just about anything. The grounds were impeccably maintained and the pools were always sparkling clean. Big props to the maintenance crew. There were a couple issues that we had to have maintenance come over to fix, and they were usually there the same day. Sometimes it did take them till the next day to show up, though. Our A/C went out twice and once there was a small leak from the faucet behind the washing machine. The faucet and one of the times for the A/C were quick repairs... less than 30 minutes and they had us all fixed up. The other time with the A/C they had to order parts. Unfortunately, it was the weekend so we had to wait until Monday before the parts came in. It was a rough 2 days, but we made it!The staff are courteous and professional. We always got a smile and a How are you? We never really had any issues with billing or anything that required a call to the office so our interactions with the staff were mostly through picking up packages and during community events. I dont remember their names (Sorry!) except for Chad and Stephanie. They were all super friendly but Chad would always go the extra mile, including helping my wife carry a large, heavy package to our apartment.Parking was an issue at times, but it was rare. I think I could count on one hand the times when we had to park a little further from our building in the 3 years that we lived here.If I had to come up with a nitpicky complaint, it would be with the valet trash service they introduced towards the end of our stay. Dont get me wrong, I loved the service. It was nice not having to haul our trash across a parking lot. The only thing was sometimes we would get skipped. Not sure if we did something wrong on those days, but at least it didnt happen very often.Overall, we couldnt have asked for a better experience with our first apartment.

Weve been residents at these apartments ever since they first opened. We really miss the old management crew as well. So much has changed and prices that comes with living here has skyrocketed as well. For example, our water bill, $20 replacement fees for each light, and we learned we are also responsible for replacing our water filter in the refrigerator which can cost around $50. Youd think as much as we pay to live here, these extra costs wouldnt be an issue.Weve also gone through at least 10 brand new people dealing with the front office. The new leasing agents are a pleasure to work with but the manager and assistant manager are not at all. They are very rude actually. The residents issues go unheard and then when there are problems they put them off on the residents. Since we have been here since day 1, weve noticed that us and another resident are the only ones who are still here in the entire building from the beginning. We steady see them go just as fast as they come and Im sure it has a lot to do with some of the issues Ive listed. These apartments are beautiful but have gone down and definitely not worth the money we pay to live here anymore and we wont be renewing our lease.

The apartments are nice and they know this, so they continue to treat the residents like crap knowing that if they dont renew their lease they will be able to rent out the apartment anyway. People are always moving out. That is no way to treat your customers/residents.The light bulb issue is mind boggling. I have never had this issue with any other luxury apartment and I have stayed in many. $20 to replace a light bulb that management claims costs a few bucks on amazon? The residents arent worth a few bucks to replace a bulb after paying thousands of dollars a month in rent and other fees? I probably should have taken the light bulbs I purchased upon moving out, but I did not want to be unjustly charged $80 so I just let it be.Yesterday I received my final move out invoice dated for 10/4 and due 9/30. They even threatened to send me to collections if the $216 balance was not paid by the due date which was before the invoice was even created. After paying nearly $17K in rent over the past 14 months, either on time or early in most cases, with certified funds (cashiers check), you threaten with reporting me to collections over a couple hundred dollars for a bill that I havent even received yet? Shows an extreme lack of loyalty and customer appreciation. If you sign a lease here, Im willing to bet you will be moving out at the end of the term. It seems as though management is making decisions that are making this complex a pain to live in. I usually dont leave reviews but I always refer to the reviews of others when deciding where to rent, etc. The horrible experience I had here warranted a review.

Weve been here almost a year, and its been a pretty good experience with only a few complaints. I didnt quite understand the low rating when we first moved it (I think it was a 2.5 rating), but at the same time, these recent reviews reek of fake/paid reviews. Do not pay attention to the reviews of people with only 1 Review. These are relatively new and great looking apartments, but you can tell the materials used arent high quality, and the contractors may have skimped out. So youll often come across panelling thats coming off, or doors that dont close fully. The A/C unit is pretty inefficient, as well as some of the appliances, so our electric bill during the summer is higher than it should be. HERES A PLUS FOR YOU IT/TECH GUYS THOUGH, THEY HAVE BUILT IN WIRED ETHERNET! At least my apartment does. And they all route to the closet where you could install a patch panel and switch/router. AT&T I think is the only service allowed here aside from satellite, as theres no coax connections on the wall. AT&Ts gigabit fiber does service here though! We cannot hear our neighbors through the inside walls which is fantastic, but we can hear them when theyre walking up the stairs or outside the door. Not a big deal, theyre not usually hanging out there anyway. Parking was also a huge problem at one point during the year at 1200 Hidden Valley (Across the street from the main office). I think thats since been resolved but theres concerns parking is just at capacity. If you work evenings and come home late, theres a chance you wont find parking near your building. Also, the gates at 1200 Hidden Valley almost never work.Theres a lot of great stores and restaurants nearby, including HEB, Ikea, and the outlet mall. If you consider moving here, just be aware of University Blvd + i35. Predictably, this is a huge traffic area and it can get real bad, only worsened by accidents. I dont have kids, so I cant make a comment on the schools nearby.Management can be a hit or a miss. Sometimes theyre great, other times theyre missing details or forgetting to do things. Packages are either delivered to the office or my front door, its real weird. I think if the gates are permanently open, they make the delivery to the door. Otherwise they go to the office.Do i recommend these apartments? Absolutely, provided youre paying a good price per month for the apt. Definitely do your research and compare with the ones in this area.

Gate has been broke since I got here. 1st Amazon package stolen from front door, on day 3 here. Day 10, I had all 4 wheels stolen. My car was on bricks, along with 2 other tennants. Management has offered no solutions to deter this from happening again. Here 6 weeks. Gate is still broke. No updates on when it well be fixed.July 7th,Update: the generic auto response to my review is about the same as I got from the manager at the front office, as well as his managerLone Oak, maybe have some different generic responses? LOL you will be happy to talk with me? I have already talked to managment at leasing office, which is why I had to talk to his manager.Gate is still broke, by the way. July 7th

The apartment is nice, but the parking by building 2 is atrocious. We pay $40 for covered parking and someone keeps parking in our space! The courtesy officer is worthless, because he says he cant do anything about it and the towing number posted on the covered parking is disconnected. Also, Alexa is very unprofessional, because when we called her, she didnt know what the new tow service number was, but told us to find a local towing service and have them tow the vehicle thats been parked in our covered space. This is wrong and unfair. What are yall charging people $40 extra a month, if you cant/wont enforce the rules.

TLDR: fake reviews from staff/staff friends, cheap complex, and theyll bill you for BS.For starters, a good majority of the reviews for this apartment complex are allegedly paid/fake reviews. On Facebook and Yelp, the actual leasing staff leave reviews about the amazing staff and amazing property without identifying themselves as employees for the place. You may notice after every bad review there is a flood of 5 star super enthusiastic reviews from new accounts. On the Facebook reviews, one of the workers Dylan has MANY of his friends on his friends list who dont even live in the area making reviews about the great staff and community...is this not fraud? My experience living here was okay at best, the front gates on the 1200 side were broken at least half the time...some of the times we had to get out of our car and physically push the gate open only for it to be stuck open for the next week or more. Building#9 has literally 5 parking spaces and thats it. Anything else you have to fight 3 surrounding buildings for spots. Our downstairs neighbors blasted music and smoked cigarettes consistantly all day and night, making our apartment reek of cigarette smoke and then they would toss the cigarette butts off their balcony leaving piles in the grass. We called to complain with no change. Not a big deal since we moved out 2 months later. Now with moving out, no where in our lease does it say that you have to schedule a move out walk through BEFORE the last day of your lease, nor does the paper they leave you a few weeks before you move out. On the last day of my lease I go to turn my keys in and do the move out walk through only to be told that apparently management doesnt work on the weekends (it was a Saturday) but Alexis assured me that Stephanie would be in on Monday and would get back to me immediately about doing the walk through and to confirm our move out statement. Monday comes with no response, so I email Stephanie and she tells me she had already done the walk through herself and will give me the move out statement within the next day or so. By Friday, still nothing up until 5:01pm when she sends an email stating not only are they keeping our $250 deposit, but a $500 bill for carpet replacement costs all over dime sized spot. They had no proof they even attempted to vacuum or clean the carpet whatsoever before deciding they need to up and replace the whole thing, she claims a maintenance member vacuumed, but apparently they dont use a cleaning company or try to shampoo a spot before ripping everything up. She refused to do a final walk through with me, which honestly would have prevented these BS charges. Theyre decent to you up until you move out and they cant make any more money off you. Would not recommend living here!

Trashiest Apartment Complex Literally!!! Since they offered the feature of Valet trash, the complex has down hill fast. Here is the evidence in the picture taken at 6:30 pm Friday 12/09/16. Valet trash is only valid Sunday thru Thursday. Here we are now Sunday 12/11 with the same disgusting visual and aroma. How would you like to walk out of your apartment to a hallway full of trash that smells, not in the receptacle as it states in the business rules, and of course all the bugs, knats, and flies that come with it. Many complaints made by my neighbors and myself have been made without any results. Via email, phone, message system, and to the security officer. The complex threatened when they first started valet trash that there would be fines for anyone violating the time frames. I promise this not occurring because when you hit someone where it hurts the most (wallet) I promise you they will not make the same mistake again. Management is doing a poor job enforcing their own business rules for the simple fact to raise rent during renewal. If I was the owner reading this review please note you are losing out on an opportunity to increase the value of your investment with poor management and lack of enforcement of the business rules. This trash has been in the hallway for days as pictures speak louder than words.

When I first moved in it was great....but notice the apartments are cheaply made you can hear everything in your apartment from people passing by your door to the neighbors upstairs. The doors arent soundproof. Parking sucks!! You wont be able to find a parking near your building. I work at a hospital and sometimes come home really late and find myself parking far. I had to park on the other side of the apartment where the office is at and carry all my things across the street to the other side to get to my building and this happened a couple of times. Management didnt care they told me I could get a cover parking which they could have offer me a discount but asked for full price to rent one. Than they make you pay for lights in your apartment when they go out. The gate is almost always broken. I couldnt get into the gate one time and went to the office and the girl working there said yeah that sucks because I live on that side too and theres nothing she could do. I just looked at her and was thinking ok what kinda answer is that. She give me maintenance number and said they might help....called no answer from them. I end up going to the gate, got out of my car and pushed the gate open. So dumb. When I moved out I left my place really clean just the way I got it. Im talking I cleaned everything the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom....everything looked great. Than received an email about my last charges for the apartment and was charged for carpet cleaning. When the carpet was perfect I left it the way they rented it out to me. I spent time really cleaning that place and for what they just ended up charging me anyways. Oh and management told me it wasnt up to their standards thats why they charged me for carpet cleaning....but they rented to me like that!!! Management said the place was really clean so they didnt charge me for cleaning services for the whole apartment. Thats ridiculous! So when you move out they will charge you for carpet cleaning and cleaning services.

It makes me feel so much better to know we are not the only ones entirely disappointed with the management here. I would give less that one star if possible. They made there be fees for things that I have never heard of having fees for, as you can see in reviews before mine(light bulbs, etc.) I have never had such a heard time getting answers from a management like I have here. I can not wait to be out of this place. I pay way too much money a month to deal with management that does not care about the residents. If I could sub-lease and find another apartment right now, I would. Do not rent here if Fogelman is still in charge.

Worst apartment experience ever! From the moment i moved in it has been nothing but agony dealing with Stephanie Pham. First thing I believe she is racist towards african americans as she always made me feel uncomfortable as a black women when dealing with her. Secondly this management DOES NOT cater to disabled veterans/individuals as the parking is severely limited and when i asked them to make ADA adjustments for me in order to park closer as a disabled person since the parking was so bad and people would park in handicap at times, (she told me this could be done when i toured the facility) she then brushed me off when i became a resident stating to take pictures. I told her i didnt feel it was my job to take pictures and enforce parking there so i asked for ADA adjusments (basically assign another handicap parking spot or offer me a parking spot in the assigned parking) and there was no adjustments she could do for me due to fair housing act. Unbelievable! Lastly be careful upon moving out as they charged me $800.00 in fees on my move out statement. I would highly suggest not moving here until they get new managment and start abiding by ALL laws and not picking and choosing which ones to use for convenience.

1) I paid for overnight shipping a few times and the ups guy would leave the packages at the office. One time I got there 10-15 mins before they closed and the office was already locked and shut down leaving my expensive overnight package to just sit inside.2) In my opinion, its very noisy. I lived on the second floor (only unit they had available when I moved in) I called the office many many times to report people above me. It sounded like they were bowling on the kitchen tile at midnight while listening to their surround at full volume. The noises never stopped and continued throughout my entire stay.3) I moved into a rental house that is around 1300 sqft. My apartment at lone oak was around 600sq ft. Get this.. my electric bills are around the same cost in both places. What Im saying is, in my opinion their ac units are extremely in-efficient and underpowered. (I did speak with maintenance who said the unit was functioning normally) For me, it ran somewhere around 18 hours a day just to maintain a comfortable temperature around 73 during the day and 70 at night.Stephanie Pham was literally the best agent Ive EVER worked with. She was awesome.

After living here for two years I can honestly say this has been the worst move out experience I have ever had. The leasing office was unhelpful throughout our entire process, no information provided for move out day, WHERE TO DROP KEYS ect. If I could go back Id never live here please dont waste your time or money living at this complex. Plumbing is also horrible and the roofs are leaking. Super disappointed.

My experience at these apartments have been a roller coaster!!! not with the apartments but with myself and my family. I am able to go to the office and talk to the staff and them help me out whenever i am in need, they listen to me and make me feel like a friend rather than a resident as i have recently came into alot of problems. My apartment itself is so nice and very durable (dont ask why i say that). i myself feel like i may be a noisy upstairs neighbor but my downstairs people have not complained once so either theyre really nice or these apartments are built like theyre suppose to be. I dont hear my neighbors AT ALL but i know theyre there. I just want to thank these apartments for everything they have done!
