From the time my out of state move changed to a local move with an extra stop, the representatives reassured me of no problems. IM A PHYSICIAN WHO SPECIALIZES IN TRAUMA AND THIS EXPERIENCE WAS MORE TRAUMATIC THAN ANYTHING IVE SEEN AT WORK- read, you will be grateful you did.Finished fellowship at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Morse movers picked up my stuff on time as planned. June 26th, 2021 did a great job and were quick- SO I THOUGHT.They dont tell you that they are taking your stuff to some huge warehouse to sit until they can fill a semi truck with other peoples goods to send to your same destination. My destination was Sarasota Florida. Initial estimate, 4000lbs cost $6777.00.Expected delivery date was a range- July 1-July 10, 2021. After they picked up my home goods, no one contacted me for maybe 10 days. I asked for updates- no call backs. The guy who came out to do the initial assessment, Kyle, no where to be found. Doesnt know where my stuff is...doesnt know when it will arrive. Two weeks go by, my fiancé and i have been sleeping in an empty apartment on an air mattress. She works from home- sitting on the floor of our new place. No one contacts us--continue to procrastinate. Everyone at Morse moving says they are working on it. Their excuse oh we lost our driver last minute this went on for another two weeks. After getting over the delays, our stuff arrived yesterday August 9, 2021. Almost 30 days late. And guess what--- everything was destroyed- leather couch grew mold all over it, brand new TV console-mangled into pieces, 2nd TV console holes in bottom door handles torn off, all of our clothes----soaking wet, large area rug--no where TO BE FOUND. Mold had grown on 7 different boxes. My coffee table was in 4 pieces. Mind you all of my stuff was pretty good quality- West ELM, Mayfair and some Ethan Allen. Pictures say a thousand words and i leave them here for you all to see. PLEASE DO NOT use this company. It has been a nightmare. I left out so many details but I guarantee you will not have a good experience.

I needed movers specifically to move a baby grand piano along with some personal belongings. Preferred Moving was booked and referred me to Morse. At first, they were very kind and accommodating. Then, they needed me to change my move from a Saturday to a Monday. I am a teacher and it was the last week of school. After being very rude to me, they had the owner call and ask if I could do Monday afternoon. I did.The movers arrived at 3pm. It was two guys that complained and swore the entire time in front of my two small children. I reminded them several times about the piano. They said they would get it. After loading everything else, I reminded them again of the piano. They said they couldnt do it and had to call for backup. Then they became angry with me when I couldnt leave with them to go to my new house because I am one person and had to stay to let the piano movers in. They waited in my driveway until 7p. I called Morse and Emily, the owner, and received no response. Then two more guys showed up. The four of them had clearly never moved a piano. They didnt use the straps or the boards and just basically shoved it out the door. We got to the new house at 9p. Because I had to work the next morning and was exhausted, I told them just to put the piano and sensitive items inside and everything else in the garage. They literally threw things out of the truck, smashing them on the ground while stinking of marijuana. I helped them unload to get done faster. Then they shoved the piano inside, ruining my brand new vinyl plank floor. I filed claims with them three weeks ago and have heard nothing since. Save your money and your sanity and do not use this mover.

Alan, Cory, and Kane moved our family of five today with tremendous care and big smiles. They were friendly and efficient. They had great communication as a team and worked together to ensure they took great care in our brand new house. Alan is an outstanding leader and was so detailed upon arrival - asking if the dollies were okay on the carpet, and so much more. So thoughtful and attentive to our preferences. Cory and Kane were awesome too and we would hire Morse and this crew for any job!

I do not recommend using this company. The initial sales pitch was great and they made it sound like my move would be easy and stress free (a modest amount of already boxed items, moving to a new location about an hour and a half away). On the day of my scheduled move no one showed up. I made multiple calls before reaching my move “coordinator” who told me that the driver was not coming and I was not moving that day! (This was also an hour after their scheduled arrival time.) The whole thing was very unprofessional and unapologetic. Speaking to the original manager/salesperson that gave me my estimate was not helpful at all. Overall very poor communication and I ultimately had to scramble to find a different mover that same day! Considering how it all panned out, I also think they overcharge for their poor services.

In 2018, I emailed Morse Moving about two positive experiences with their company. With zero hesitation, I can recommend them. Heres the 2018 email I sent, to which I received a very nice, thoughtful reply.I have worked with Joe Bowser on scheduling two moves, both of which were very positive experiences with Morse Moving.The first move, in August 2017, Quincy and his brother moved us out of an apartment and into a Townhouse in Novi. Not only did they work under adverse circumstances (air conditioning did not work at new townhouse), they were professional, careful and personable throughout the entire move.The second move was this month. They moved my grandparents dining set from my uncle to us. Quincy, Colt and John Z performed the move. Like our prior experience, they were all professional, careful and personable.It is with no hesitation that I have recommended your services to others. Morse Moving would be my first call the next time we need moving services. Worst moving service that I ever had. 1) They were late for over an hour that ruined my moving day schedule. No heads up, I had to call multiple numbers by myself to figure out. 2) They assigned too small size truck, so not all my stuff fitted in, although I did estimate with them, and they saw my stuff, and assigned the truck. This caused big delay because crews needed to figure out the way to put as much stuff as possible in the truck. And they charged me for extra hours although the delay is caused by assigning too small size truck. Crews were fine, they did a job with small truck, but no one in the company takes a responsibilities for wrong size truck, no apology for this. 3) Multiple notable dents and scratches at wall and floors.I could understand that one of them can happen during moving, but never expect ALL of them happened during moving. DEFFINITELY NOT use the company again.

I hired morse moving on the recommendation of the packing company I used. Overall, this is a hardworking crew who gets the job done.We did run into some communication/truck size issues, which resulted in having to do repeat trips on other days to get the remaining items. This was a frustrating process, and I felt a bit let down that this happened. Poor departmental communication was largely the cause of these problems.However, despite the mishap, multiple representatives from the company called me and asked me how everything went, and when I told them about the mistake, they worked to make it right.Businesses are made up of regular, fallible human beings, like you and me. I own a business, and my employees screw up all the time. People are just people and they make mistakes. When their employees screw up, some businesses will hide behind the name of the business and not make right on their mistakes. Some would rather damage their reputation and than take a profit loss on a job that wasnt executed according to plan.I am pleased to say that wasnt the case here. Despite the mishaps, the business took a hit on their bottom line to make sure that I felt satisfied in that I got the value that I paid for.There are tons of moving companies out there. All of them have trucks and big strong guys that can move your stuff. None of them employ sophisticated AI cybernetic android moving robots. They all employ regular human beings who get hurt, make mistakes, and get tired. Ultimately, no matter which company you choose, you pay money in exchange for big strong dudes and a truck. The job still gets done one way or another.Whats important is how companies handle it when something goes wrong, and in this case, I can say Morse Moving handled it with integrity and responsibility. I recommend you hire them for your own move on those grounds alone.This level of We Will Make It Right personal responsibility is unusual for modern businesses. Especially large corporations. I have to say, despite the errors that occurred with the move, I would hire this company again just based on their integrity in how they handled the mistakes.

I am a professional organizer in mid-Michigan that specializes in helping seniors move. I have only had two of my clients hire Morse Moving and Storage. Both of these senior single women were given estimates after in home visits and both were charged an additional 25-33% higher than their quote, at the end of their move. This company needs to stand by their quotes and read their reviews.

Morse Moving and Storage is a very poorly handled company that will not take care of your business.Been ready for over a month to move with them and been pushed back twice. Both times within the hour of the actual arrival time. Now when they finally are supposed to arrive they completely bailed without even notice of when the next arrival time would be.

I could not have had a better experience. This is the second time that I have used Morse Moving with furniture and boxes going from Detroit to Florida. The professionalism was unmatched when Morses agent came out twice to my house, once for the estimate and then I had questions on boxing, he then came out with extra used boxes, Both times, the drivers took there time and were very careful in setting up in the van, Unloading was the same way. I recommend Morse for small to large moving - they were exceptional.

Morse Moving was great from initial quote to the moment they completed the delivery. We moved from Michigan to Arizona. Morse had us loaded in 3 hours, left our home as clean as when they arrived. They arrived at our storage facility in AZ right on time and had us unloaded in 2 hours. Every piece accounted for and no damage. They even arranged all our stuff in the storage facility so we could have access to everything. I highly recommend Morse Moving they did a great job at a great price

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was moving my mother from Michigan to Florida because my Dad just passed. We were moving her into a retirement community. I asked for them to be able to deliver it in a certain window and we agreed on a time frame of a few days. We did this because we driving my Mom down to Florida and we wouldnt be there to receive it while we were traveling. I stated to them the retirement community could receive the items but only during a 10am - 3pm window because they would block off an elevator. They didnt return emails about when it would be delivered and needed to get their insurance information to the community - no response! We got no updates along the way until we were in Michigan and the driver called and said he would be there tomorrow. The Driver, Jim went on to complain about not being able to make it and he wouldnt arrive in the window and started harassing me about ruining his other deliveries. It was by far the worst moving experience Ive ever had. To top it off once Jim finally got around to our delivery 3 days after he was supposed to arrive he went on to yell at my 74 year old Mother about how she messed up his other deliveries. Dont use this company, they arent helpful, they werent on time or even close and they dont have quality, respectful representatives who ever followed up on any of these issues. CHOOSE A BETTER COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS!

The movers arrived early and quickly & efficiently moved my bins and furniture to my next home. They assembled my bed and moved the furniture carefully into the rooms. They did an excellent job of arranging my bins in the garage. They were friendly and courteous workers. This is my second move with your company.

We had a very heavy treadmill and piano moved.Everything was wrapped and protected.Was very pleased and would definately hire them again for any future move.

This company was used for part of my move from Alaska to Michigan. There was no room for error dealing with the employee Cynthia, not sure if she is a manager or what is her status there. However she is very unprofessional on how she communicated with me. I was still in Alaska at the time when my household goods arrived in Michigan. Cynthia did not give me time to make arrangements for a family member to be available for the delivery of my household goods, she called with a bad attitude about the items being there t that establishment. Within 24 hours of the items being there she attach another $244.15 cents on my bill as if $6000.00 move for only 2000 pounds wasnt enough. I feel that she was the first person to steal from me on moving back to Michigan. I would advise anyone that use this moving company to try to deal with someone else other than her, because she is horrible. I will never use this company services do to that. So please be aware.

We had a very positive experience experience with Morse Moving and Storage. They went above and beyond with a rather complicated international shipment of household goods from Michigan to Western Canada. Delivery took longer than expected, but given the corona virus and bad weather, I do not fault the company. They were quick to respond to calls, always very helpful with a “can do” attitude. The packing and loading were done efficiently and even the most delicate items arrived intact. I would highly recommend this company.

Morse moving moved our entire home on August 1st. The crew was professional, personable and took excellent care in protecting our belongings. They worked well together and got the job done quickly. We got the A-team! Emily and Carson from the office provided wonderful communication throughout the planning process. Start to finish no problems at all, I would recommend!

Set up a long distance move from MI To Naples to include packing, unpacking and transport. Cannot day enough about how wonderful Ed Morse was to work with!!! Ed has over 37 years of experience moving and he really knows his stuff. He and his team reviewed all items that needed to be packed up and assessed each item, carefully packed, labeled and organized like a well oiled machine. He was always available if we had questions, made helpful suggestions and was a real delight to work with. Successfully transported all items to new house and couldn’t have done it without Ed. This is our first time using a moving company to assist with a move (2 miles away from our previous home) and I am unbelievably disappointed with the experience. First, they arrived more than an hour after the time they were scheduled for. No big deal, as they did call to tell me the got a late start; I can handle a little delay in our own familys moving timeline. Second, no masks worn (the movers did not even ask if Id prefer them to wear masks or not) throughout their almost 5 hours of work in both of our homes. In the pandemic climate, I am mortified they would not at least ask me before deciding to move all of our belongings without a mask on. Third, I was quoted 6 hours of time with all of the belongings we had originally prepared for the move. The day before the move, I had 7-8 of my own friends help me move out everything besides clothes and furniture (far more than half of our belongings that we were originally quoted on). These 3 men still took nearly 5 hours. Ive been told by so many how amazing it is to have movers assist with a move -- how hard they work, how professional they are, etc. After our experience, though, I can say that I thoroughly regret this decision. The sales representative did [slightly] discount our invoice after discussing these items. However, I am astounded at the lack of professionalism we experienced and will not be recommending them to my friends or family.

Beware of Morse Moving and Storage Allied Agent! Contracted with them months ago to pack up our home today and deliver it on Monday. They knew we had to turn over the keys tomorrow morningSo today they show up about 10:30 and proceed to whine about everything the needed to move. For some reason they did NOT bring a full semi even thought they knew they needed one.The crew continued to complain about their sales team and that they underbid the project. Then they proceeded to leave at 4pm saying they won’t be back until Monday!It’s not our home any longer! They know, and the sales person agreed this evening, that it all needed to be out today.So they show up late, leave early, don’t have the right truck, and complained all day. Do not use this firm - I will update more later as this unfolds.

The movers was very professional. They had a system. They were very respectful and they made sure to ask what we wanted to put on our truck. They protected our floors and things. They asked if we need boxes before they arrived. When moving things into our new home they did a walk through and asked where everything needed to go. They were quick they respectfully wore their mask and did not take them off. If we needed to use them again they will definitely be our first choice their pricing beats any other moving company any day. Thank you More Moving, for making things go so well and easy.

This company did our move from Indiana to Florida. Our belongings were to be in FL on Sept 9th. Were not there til Sept 14th. Morse kept giving us excuses and we had to stay longer in hotel. Finally got our stuff and the men who delivered everything were terrific. High five to Frank and his helper. After unpacking, realized a box was missing. Called Morse moving, talked too Stacey and she didnt get back to me. After 3 more calls, still no call from her . Called today and wanted to talk to her supervisor and got a call from her saying no new info on our missing box. I dont think they even care. Its not their belongings. I would not use this company. They got their money. Im sure they are not spending much time looking for our things that mean everything to us. Think twice and go elsewhere.Lynn Kelly

Sent letters six weeks ago to the owner and the two people we dealt with detailing our unhappiness with this company. Did not even receive phone call or email. Fewer movers and packers than promised. Actual bill was 33% higher than estimate! Workers were friendly and helpful, but company was a huge disappointment.

First-class service all the way. From handling intricate details over the phone, to being more than accommodating while coordinating the move remotely, to a mover who was friendly, careful and attentive for both loading and unloading. Would recommend over and over if I could.

This highly professional and efficient company disappointed me very much in a 7K move yesterday. Movers showed up with no masks and after I personally gave them masks, they refused to wear them continuously. Over a 7 hour period, I repeated told them that our moving coordinator said they would wear masks and that I required it. Every time I turned my back they took them off, pulled them under the chin or under the nose. While it was a brutally hot day, I had been told movers would use masks while inside my home and that is what I expected. The company did not back me up. I was told by the Vice President of Morse that the heat and difficulty of obtaining masks made recommended safety precautions unmanageable. Movers are in at least one home every day, sharing airspace with at least one owner who is required to be on site during the move. They are handling everything the owner and family have touched. No masks, no gloves. Morse Moving does not protect their customers, not to mentions their workers.

Because of some complications on my end, I had three different transaction dates with Morse, and Emily and Sonia made sure everything went off without a hitch. First, we were doing a major downsize, so a lot of my furniture was being shipped to my daughter out of state. That move on the 9th was handled flawlessly, thanks to Emily and Sonia coordinating with Allied. Then my local move was scheduled for the 13th, but only a few days before that I received a call from the new apartment stating that it wouldn’t be ready until the 14th. Emily and Sonia went out of their way to scramble and find a solution, even though they were booked solid. I can’t thank them enough for their calm demeanor and hard work while I was in panic mode. When the move finally happened, it was in two stages because of the issues with the apartment. Mark and his crew were phenomenal. They made sure we at least had a bed to sleep on and the basic necessities to get us through the next couple of days. When the rest of our things arrived, Mark and the crew were on time, courteous, careful, and professional. I give high marks to everyone all around for getting us through an extremely stressful move and keeping us calm and in high spirits. They bent over backwards to fix a situation (a delayed move in date) that was not their fault and not their responsibility just to make sure we were satisfied customers. This is a great family run business, and I highly recommend them! I look forward to working with them again for our next move.

Top notch service! I will start at the beginning. I was fortunate to have John as my Sales Representative. He was absolutely fantastic! His professionalism and willingness to answer all of your questions made the whole process stress free. We woke up to 8” of snow on the day we moved. Not only did the moving crew still arrive on time, but they were fantastic! The whole crew (5) were fantastic! Everything was carefully wrapped, and moved with care. We had 0 damage to a truck load full of our things. The entire crew remained positive and fun during horrible conditions. Can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend this company!

This was the best move experience I’ve had! Starting with Emily coming to our place to review what we had to move and giving us an accurate estimate, that they hit right on. Sonny, Danny and Orlando was the crew I had for the day of the move, they showed up on time and with the best attitude! They moved quickly but were very carful with our belongings. They were so polite and fun to work with through the entire experience. I would highly recommend Morse Moving!!!

Morse Moving company did an excellent job from start to finish with our move from Ohio to Arizona. Never having moved across the country before we were apprehensive about our belongings arriving on schedule and in good condition. Morse excelled in all aspects! The quote was complete and accurate, the communication was excellent, the movers arrived right on time and handled everything with the utmost of care. This company is ISO certified and all our belongings were carefully tagged and documented to ensure everything would make it to our new home. The storage facility experience was excellent and finally the arrival of our belongings was right on time as scheduled and the team on the other end did an amazing job placing everything where we asked. No issues with breakage or damage to anything and no surprises with the cost other than it was slightly LESS than quoted as it was based upon weight.I cannot recommend Morse Moving & Storage highly enough. They were recommended to me by a friend who used them and had exactly the same experience of quality and service, so this is their standard.

We moved from Plymouth Michigan to Cincinnati Ohio. This company is top notch to work with. The guys that packed and loaded our items were efficient and conscious of breakable items. They were pleasant.Our driver Dan, was impressive to be able to maneuver the very large truck down our narrow road. He made sure everything was cleaned up and put in its proper place.Bethany and John are a well oiled machine. They were responsive to any concern I may of had.I have already recommended them to others that are moving. If you need to do any moving, call them. You will not be disappointed.

Wow, nothing but great things to say about Morse. The sales rep came to the house to give us an estimate, then I went to the warehouse to get complimentary packing materials from them and one of the office workers showed me how to PROPERLY pack a box.Ours was on out of state move and everyone we worked with along the way was great. We recently moved and used Morse and we will NOT be recommending them to anyone.The coordinators at Morse broke one of the most important rules in business: always under-promise and over-deliver. We were promised delivery of our belongings 3 days after pickup. Instead, they botched the most crucial aspect of this business, logistics, and couldnt fulfill that promise after taking our belongings. We ended up waiting 8 days for our stuff... We had made several alterations to our moving plans (changing our lease, leaving our old home early) to accommodate their schedule. Our efforts were wasted and we lost valuable time with our friends and family - which is something we cannot get back.While the logistics side of this company is a complete mess, the laborers are excellent at their jobs. Our belongings were packaged, loaded, and delivered with no damage.Bottom line: if you use Morse, your belongings will be taken care of but dont count on them arriving when you expect.

Working with Morse Moving has been a nightmare. I had a personal belonging (Precor elliptical) worth $4000 that has been damaged and made unusable under their care. I had insurance on the move. I have received unresponsiveness, lack of follow up, excuses, rudeness. I have yet to receive an apology that they have destroyed an expensive belonging and certainly have not reimbursed or fixed my belonging. If you have another option, I would use it.

I moved from Kokomo, Indiana to Troy, Michigan because of job transfer via corporate relocation package on Jan 13, 2020.The moving coordinator Sonia Warren communicated very well. The response from her was really fast. When I call, she can always be reached and answered my questions quickly.The movers came to the house and carefully packed everything. They also put the temporary protective carpet to prevent the carpet getting dirty. There were three people that did the packing. It took about 5-6 hours. The next day, they nicely/neatly loaded everything into the semi in about 2-3 hours. The driver was very polite. The packers were very efficient and worked very fast.I am really happy about Morse Moving & Storage and highly recommend them.

I moved a one bedroom apartment into a house on a Saturday morning. The movers (Jacob and another guy) were punctual, courteous and careful with wrapping everything. The initial intake missed that I had a queen bed and side table, but the guys still got the job done within the estimated time allotment and didnt charge me extra. Would use them again!

Wow, should have waited till the move was finished. Working with them started off great, they were very professional and tried to make the entire process as painless as possible. Then the truck came, it was a third party, very unprofessional - during the unloading the driver was constantly taking phone calls and they were complaining about having to unload the truck. In the end, the truck leaked and numerous boxes got wet. On top of getting wet they didnt say anything during unloading into a storage unit so I had no clue that the boxes were soaking wet until days later. Very unprofessional and will never use them again.

The two young men that moved me were awesome, even struggling up two steep, skinny flights of apartment stairs! They never complained, had good conversation and put everything where i asked. So glad we chose an experienced, professional, moving company for our move from Lake Orion to Portage Michigan. It made all the difference. Nothing was damaged during the move. The unloading went very smooth and quickly. I never thought some of my bigger pieces of furniture would fit into this retirement home. Somehow they made it work. No walls damaged. You know I can excuse getting behind on packing up a house due to having a new crew member on hand but we just got our shipment in our new state and are seriously disappointed. We have $1,000s of dollars of damage to our goods including antiques. We have a f$!king axe stuck in the couch! Unacceptable!!!! Not happy and do not recommend this company...

Morse did a great job packing and was very timely. Our belongings arrived at the time I was told. Everything was packed very very well. I was amazed. Boxes were marked well and the crew unloaded so fast I couldnt keep up with telling them where everything went. First time I ever used a moving company and I am glad I chose Morse.

We have moved about 5 times over the years, mostly across country, like our recent 1100 mile move from Brighton, MI to Baton Rouge, LA. We received 4 bids and although one was lower, We chose Morse because of Chris the regional manager left me with a feeling of complete confidence in your company. And I can tell you that I was correct as our move went as smoothly as any move I have ever made. Our household furniture even arrived about five days earlier than expected. We were very happy with all your employees on both ends of the move.Ericka our coordinator was especially helpful as she stayed on top of every detail and was always available when we called with questions. It was also the first time a mover (Ericka) called after the move and everything was paid, just to make sure we were satisfied. I told Ericka all of this and more. We were especially pleased with Garcia, our driver as he was so experienced and had a winsome personality. He also assured us over and over again, building our confidence level even higher.We have our furniture in storage temporarily until we can find a home and even though we are in Baton Rouge, I know Chris and Ericka will probably be able to find another great moving company down here, even though it will only be a 40-50 mile move. This is the best moving company ever. Chris and his crew moved me from Waterford to Saline. They worked very hard the whole time and were very polite. On top of that it was the cheapest company I found to move me. I would use them again for sure!

We moved from Royal Oak to Northville on Saturday December 9. Quincy , Chris , Mike and Tyler were our movers. THEY WERE EXCELLENT! I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time and they were more than helpful. If I was doing something, on more than one occasion they offered to help- even if it wasnt their job. Our family could not believe how courteous, polite and efficient they all were. Not one thing was damaged or lost in our move. They truly were top notch. One guy joked that we had the best Morse Moving had to offer and I could not agree more! John was great and very accurate with his estimate. Unfortunately for your business, we do not plan to move anytime soon- however I will recommend your company without reservation to anyone and everyone I know or see asking about movers. Sonny, Joe and Chris were awesome! Nice and professional. They were very cordial, on time and very careful handling our extremely heavy furniture and other items to be moved. I was extremely impressed that they saran-wrapped furniture so the drawers wouldn’t fly out and they had a method to moving and placing every piece of furniture in the truck and in and out of houses. What a team! When we move again, I will be calling Morse/Allied.

In my current position I assist people that are moving from a Ann Arbor Public Housing to alternate locations during the renovation process. I have been fortunate that the Housing Commission decided to use Morse Moving and Storage to move the clients to their new residences. Every crew that has been sent has performed to an outstanding level. The skill and proficiency of these fellows is beyond description. If I ever move, I will be calling Morse to move my things. The clients, as well as the Commission and myself have been fortunate to have Morse as the go to movers. Five stars is not enough, I would add ten more if I could. The Team of Foreman Bill, which includes Matthew, Joe & Orlando were just amazing! They were professional, courteous, efficient, extremely caring and their work ethic was of highest quality!
