I used them recently to replace a nearly 20 year old AC/furnace in my home. As a first time home owner, I thoroughly appreciated their expertise and professionalism. Ron, his brother (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) and Harold were all a pleasure to work with and deal with. They were communicative and polite and willing to help me answer any questions I had. I will absolutely use them again. I also greatly appreciate their speediness on getting in the parts they needed during a time when people are struggling with supply costs and availability during the pandemic still. I am happy I found them.

One of their drivers rear ended me and sped off. Never paid for any damages

The coordinator was very arrogant and rude upon the first interaction. My warranty company contacted them to assist me with improper air flow. The tech (David) came out and left my home in a worse condition than it was when he arrived - with Arctic air in one room and no air flow in the others. When I asked him to come back to fix what HE broke, he basically told me to undo what he did (mind you I have a degree in business, not a trade in HVAC). :-). Be cautious if you choose this business (and I use that term loosely) Oh, and I was extremely accommodating when he walked into my home (he barely even spoke) by giving him water when he asked and putting his bottle of water in my fridge so it could get cool. He was going to leave without saying a word but I stopped him. Only for him to complain about having a bad back and not being able to fit in small spaces. Huh?! LolTypical - quoting scripture to excuse poor service. Warranty company or not, it was unacceptable.

My home owners warranty contacted Williams & Fogg to come for a service visit. I spoke with dispatcher who sent a technician to my home. The tech was very pleasant, friendly, and took the time to explain what was going on with my ac unit. It was determined my compressor; Mark came back out to install the new compressor but he was sent the wrong part. After receiving the right one, he determined another problem but was able to get my AC working. I can’t say enough good words to the staff for being understanding and patient with me and treating me as a valued customer. I would definitely refer this company over and over again to anyone in need of plumbing or HVAC services.

Do not support this business.From great mistreatment, all the office staff stormed out and quit, even the office manager that had been there for like 8 years. I still needed a job so I took over, handling jobs I was not trained to do. Customers calling all over the place. Much Overtime.The owner threw away my time sheet, and refused to pay me for that week and also the week before.It was difficult to even locate a specific court case where someone had sued them, it got misplaced by someone (started the office argument), because of the stacks upon stacks of other court cases where people had sued him.There are better people out there to contribute to.

I would recommend this company. Very good price and fast service. Replaced our upper and lower units in one day. Very pleased with service and price could not be beat.

I had a wonderful experience they all very professional and were $1000 cheaper then anybody else. I called on a Thursday afternoon and by Friday afternoon they were finished installing a new heat pump and ac. I would defiantly call them again...

I needed multiple services addressed and Doug from Williams & Fogg provided excellent service. His work was fast, professional, and excellent. He repaired the gas flex line, installed a new garbage disposal and new water heater. The administration provided by Bonnie was excellent too. Did not fix my problem but insisted on over $400! Initially sounded like they knew what they were doing. Better at billing then doing the work.

If it were possible this would be a -122. This company strung me along for 3 weeks and failed to do anything. The owner specifically told me that he is at the mercy of his employees and cannot make grown people do anything. He continuously told me that they would come out and look at my property and failed to do so three or four times in a row. They have never followed up after even having an approval for financing. Its amazing how these people are still in business considering they have not been rated at the Better Business Bureau and have no contractors license. There have been several complaints against them at the BBB and it is shown that the company is supposedly no longer in business, however, they are still advertising commercials for 3575 for a new HVAC system. The whole thing is a big joke and a hoax. Buyer beware do not call this company for anything. The biggest joke of all is the owner, Ron Fogg. I explained to him that our air conditioning had been out for several days when we called him and that I am disabled and must have air conditioning to cool me so that I dont become ill. He informed me that he is disabled too and theres really nothing he can do about it all I can do is continue to call him and check in. After a certain point, this became completely ridiculous and my husband and I decided that we were no longer going to harass people into taking our money. We moved on to a real company, One Hour Air. Within the span of two days, they came in, did an estimate, approved us for a full financing at a lesser price, completed all the work in addition to the work that Williams & Fogg said we would need, all with a smile professionalism and courtesy. Williams & Fogg should definitely take a page from One Hour Air. Again, buyer beware. And I hope that anyone who has received poor service, no follow-up, and just any other ridiculous thing from Williams & Fogg post up and get this company shut down. Thanks for nothing, Ron Fogg.

My experience with them wasnt so good. They came out quickly told me me my oil furnace needed a couple parts got it running then two days later it did the same thing. Called in to tell them it happened again was given the run around. Needless to say I spent 1200 dollars for nothing when another guy came over and told me the unit was shot. Now granted this a few years ago but I saw a commercial for them and figured I should comment

I had them install a water heater 5 years ago. The reset switch/thermostat broke after 2 years. They replaced it at my expense not covered under warranty they said. The switch broke again, so I had different plumber come look at it. He showed me that Williams & Fogg had wired it incorrectly which caused all the wires to melt. This could have stared an electrical fire. I contacted them about this and they took no responsibility for it. Even worse they tried to blame me for their incompetence . BAD GUYS!!!

I am very pleased with the men that came out today to fix the problem with my daughter’s room not getting enough air. They made some adjustments to the duct lines and the air is blowing much better. Chris and Mark were very knowledgeable and fixed the problem right away

I’m writing to tell you about my experience I had with your company today. I submitted an inquiry online looking to get a compressor installed. A short time later I was called by one of your technicians, Lawrence. Lawrence was very caring and empathetic when he talked to me. I was very upset because I felt that the previous person had took advantage of me. I was dealing with an independent contractor since April and have paid him nearly $600.00 and he still left me with a problem that he was unable/unwilling to repair the work. Lawrence made me feel comfortable and confident that he would be able to help me. Before the end of the work day, Lawrence came out and had my air running within a matter of minutes and I didn’t even need a new compressor! He’s very compassionate about his work, I could tell by the way he listened and explained everything to me. I’m so grateful to your company for having a person like Lawrence as part of your team. I wouldn’t call this company to come to my house to set a mouse trap!!! I had them install a brand new unit in and out.when I got home and saw the job they did I had to wonder if Ray Charles installed this thing.wires hanging from the unit exposed,drain pipe from unit not even hooked up so water just running under my house,and on the other end there is no pipe where the water should drain on the outside of the foundation.so from that hole I now have mice. Please do yourself a favor and call someone else!!!

I saw there commercial on tv that said they could put in a new heat pump for $3575 by that time the following day they were finished the job and my heat was pumping again. there office was very polite and professional and the technicians they sent out were were thorough...

I have been very happy with Williams and Fogg Heating, Air, Plumbing, and Electrical Company. I initially found them on Service Master and they had competitive prices compared to other companies I looked at.I have used Williams and Fogg a couple of times now for heating/air as well as plumbing work at my mother-in-law’s house. They have done installation as well as maintenance.Everything turned out perfectly – they were prompt and did very good work. they know how to stop a leak. I would recommend them.

I used Williams and Fogg to repair a leak in our washing machine pipes. They sent Doug out to fix it. The repair was masterful, complete and done quickly. I called other plumbers but they were late getting back to me. W/F were on the spot. The cost of the repair job was unbelievable low. I called and set up an appointment for replacing a toilet wax seal and a dripping faucet repair the next day between 12 - 2. The next day, no one shows up at all. I call them around 2:30 and they tell me their guy had to shower and was running late. This wouldnt have been a problem if they had taken the time to inform me he would be running late, as I was on a strict schedule for the day. I end up just re-scheduling for the next morning. Next morning, guy comes out and fixes the toilet which was great. However, he ends up saying he doesnt have the proper tool to fix the sink. This would not be that big of a deal normally, except that he attempted work on it without the proper tool and somehow made it worse. The faucet now barely works at all - it just drips a little faster when we turn it on. Called back a few days later stating the faucet is now in worse condition than before they paid us a visit. They simply stated we had to pay for a technician to fix it. First, he told us the day before he couldnt repair it with his tools. Second, I wasnt asking for a repair, I was asking for them to undo the damage they had done. Quite frankly, with the price of the wax seal repair being one of the most expensive Ive heard of at $165, and that along with breaking my faucet, Id stay away from this service.

My husband and I are very pleased with the service from Williams & Fogg. The staff provides excellent customer service. When obtaining our air conditioner unit, their expertise and efficiency was exceptional. They treated us with kindness, compassion, consideration and respect. We were even able to finance in-house. The office manager is very helpful, always making sure that there has not been any issues with our unit since it has been installed. I have recommended Williams & Fogg to our neighbors. I would highly recommend Williams & Fogg as the best company in the Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Chester and Dinwiddie area. Excellent service, knowledgeable and experienced staff. These guys did a wonderful job on the replacement of my hot water heater. They were in and out in no time; they were respectful of my home and property. Even cleaned up after them. I would certainly use them again. I can’t wait to call them for my next job.

Plumber came and couldnt even find the access outlet in broad daylight. Charged me 6 times the average rate of the service (found out later online) and didnt fix the problem.

My plumber had a emergency and didn’t arrive during the window of time I was given. However, when I called the office, a new plumber was quickly dispatched, who was very professional and efficient. The cost was high, but I think pretty standard for plumbing in general. Overall, it was a good experience.

They rip off. They charged to me $150 for just changing a capacitor on top of $79 for coming and doing the diagnosis. The capacitor cost is about 15 to 20 dollars and it takes 5 minutes to change it. When I questioned that to the billing lady she god mad and started telling me that we are not doing this for charity and we to include the cost of fuel and depreciation for the truck. I am not going with them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

Dont ever call this place. extremely unprofessional --when the repairman showed up - he wanted to do the work on the side and have me pay him directly.i thought it was cool because i thought i just needed freon in my AC unit. turns out he was wrong and i basically paid for nothing. had to call in real repairmen the next week to actually fix it.waste of time and money!

Horrible place to do business with. Every step of the process from the quote to the customer service has been lackluster and filled with inaccurate information. The office staff promises to return calls and they dont.Too many issues to list on here so I will say if you are looking for professionals to get the job done right look somewhere else.

Do yourself a favor and find someone else to do the job.There are two HVAC units in my house. Williams and Fogg replaced the lower level unit on August 24, 2018. They replaced the upper unit on August 27, 2018. The ceiling in the bedroom below the attic installed unit started dripping water from the ceiling on August30, 2018—I contacted Williams and Fogg, I had to leave a voice mail. There was no response, Labor Day weekend. On Tuesday, September 4, the ceiling of the bedroom collapsed. The unit upstairs had not been installed correctly. The opening was 6 feet by 10 feet. Ron Fogg from Williams and Fogg was out the next day. We requested that Service Master do the clean-up, Williams and Fogg would do the restoration. Service Master completed their portion of the job on September 10, 2019. I contacted Ron Fogg to let him know he could finish the job.It is now January 31, 2019. After contacting Ron Fogg numerous times, at least once a week over the past 4 ½ months, I have no more patience left. We have had four different people come to determine what materials are needed, only to not show up the next day to finish the job. One individual did not show up for his appointment on a Wednesday, then rescheduled it for Thursday, when he didn’t show up he promised he would be at my home first thing Friday or he would give me $100. When he showed up at 1:05 PM I asked for my $100. He laughed, I didn’t think it was funny and told him to leave.The last time I dealt with this company, Ron Fogg was involved. We had agreed to meet at my home at 9:00 AM. Ron was to be present all day. He was to supervise the replacing of the subfloor that Service Master had removed because the floor had warped. He was also to supervise the problems with the HVAC installation including replacing the drip pan that was too small. Ron arrived ahead of schedule. At 9:15, I spoke to Ron and asked him where his ream was. He told me they were on their way. He then told me he had no intention of staying to supervise until the job was complete. My patience expired. I told him no one from his business was allowed in my house.

After my hot water heater leak, I got good advice and suggestions from both the plumbing expert, and the renovation team. Since I had to make decisions in a hurry, it was great to hear pros, cons, and options, then get the work done so I could get back in my condo. They also helped by talking with the insurance adjuster using years of experience that I didn’t have.

The most stressful situation turned into the best experience. I was previously given the run around by everyone. Once I got to Williams and Fogg...the technicians and staff members gave me everything straight up. They did the work, nicely and in a timely fashion. And it was turning cold and I was very stressed about heating my home with children that have respiratory problems. I appreciate the kindness and the dont worry maam we are going to get you straight. Extremely disappointing experience. I had what should have been a fairly simple job. I gave a full description of the job when I called in, I was told $29.85 to have someone come out and take a look to quote it. I wait around and kept getting the run around of when they would come. Nearly 1 a.m. they finally and they could only do half of the job with the what they had in the truck. Then to top if off they charged me an additional $70 on top of the $29.85 they told me on the phone. After discussing for nearly an hour, I gave up to get them out of my house so I could go bed. I will never even think of using them again.

Run to another plumber or contractor. They will quote you one price and once work is started want to basically re write the quote. Do not sign the change work order saying that the work is complete unless you are sure that it is complete.They will also take longer to complete the job than estimated, and I was not satisfied with quality of the work.

I absolutely had to find someone to fix up my AC. Summers setting in, and my Richmond apartment was becoming an oven. My landlord called up Williams & Fogg, and little did I know, theyre Richmonds supreme HVAC dudes.

Be very careful when you ask this company to supply service. They quote orally for $600.00 to repair 2 security lights and back door. But they changed me more than $1,300.00. This is not the worst part, one of the lights never works even after they repaired it. The guy used a hammer to fix (damaged) the back door and the door never works. I had to ask another company to fix it for me. A very bad experience with this Williams & Fogg.

We were approved to get a new system and wont even be going with them due to the attitude of the employees, yelling and cussing at a customer, this place is an absolute joke! So if your calls are all truly recorded just go back and listen to her yelling shes off the clock and wont be dealing with it because she chose last minute to want to send a contract that should have been sent the day before! If you need some HVAC or plumbing work done, youre wasting your time calling anyone else in Richmond. Seriously. Youd be doing yourself a favor by calling Williams & Fogg instead.

We gave them a call because we were having issues with our A/C unit. They came and gave us a really fair quote and the unit was finished within a couple of hours and we are very happy.

When it comes to HVAC, Williams & Fogg have no shortcomings. Stellar plumbers too.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I had to give a one star so that i can post but would love to gave no star...... I had research a couple of companies to install new HVAC unit, William & Fogg had pretty good reviews at the time (NOW THEY HAVE F RATING WITH BBB im not surprise) I had the install done in the summer ac worked fine, the guys were wonderful. Winter came thats when I start having problems, long story short they had to come out repair the fact that heat pump will constantly run but wasnt warming the house. electric bill was steady climbing. The tech came out fix problem. Well now noticed electric bill is extremely high, so I called told them that my auxiliary constantly stays on (even when the temp was warm outside like sunny shining like I can run outside without a jacket 53degree or so. I had appt. schedule took time off from work to go wait for the tech, called after the allotted time had past only to be told that tech wasnt coming, he took upon himself not to show up because without looking at my unit he said that theres nothing wrong with it. So we had a few warm days especially this past wkend 3/18 but still need to have the heat on guess what auxiliary is still on. Im paying a few thousand for this unit along with high electric bill. I mention this to my sister who had an install done with different company out of Richmond she had same problem they came out fix and paid half of her electric bill, I dont even want them to pay nothing on my bill (it would be nice) just fix the problem from my understanding it something real simple but I GUESS ITS ONE OF THEM WE GOT OUR MONEY SO WHAT LETS GO ROB SOMEONE ELSE. BTW the license has been revoked by board of contractor.

We were in desperate need of Quick AC repair. I did a Google search, tried calling several places to find the did not answer or were unable to come same day. When I called Williams in Fogg someone answered. I should have known when he answered with his first name only... He told me he could have someone come out in the afternoon. Soon after I got a text confirmation saying someone would be there between 5-8pm. When it was 8pm and nobody had come yet or called ( and house was now 85 inside) , I called to check in. He told me he talked to his technician and he wasnt sure if they could make it tonight. Finally a technician called me and said he will get to us tonight but will be much later. When I asked how late he worked, he told me whenever the jobs stop coming in and before my girlfriend will beat me up . At this point I didnt want any part of the ? Company. The ended up showing up at 11:30. When he opened his van door a bunch of cans fell out, he was loud and unprofessional! He came in looked at thermostat and said its running. Indeed it was which is what I told him on phone! No cold air though. He was at house about 20 minutes, made a temporary fix he told us and charged $375 ( they told me several times no late night charge). They were unable to provide any receipt/ invoice. Tech had no set fees and went out to call his boss to come up with price. At this point windows were open and I could hear al of his rude comments!!! They did end up emailing invoice the next day but it showed service for 1 hr. They were at the house no more than 30 even after going round and round with my husband! Yikes not sure how this company is in business other than continuously ripping ppl off!!

I am very disappointed with the way business is conducted with this company. Jason was suppose to come out to provide a estimate several times and always had to reschedule. I then recieve a phone call wanting to know how i planned to pay for services and this call is before I had recieved a estimate which I never did get. Very unprofessional. I am very frustrated with the way business was handled. I give a star to the very nice lady in the office. I also felt like the company did not want to come out ro Powhatan...

These guys endless craigslist ads are very misleading. I called with an HVAC problem that I narrowed down to a few simple parts that might need to be replaced. The Lowest prices and Free estimates they advertise did not turn out to be true in my case. While they were very prompt, they charged $79 to show up at my door, less than 20 mins later told me that I needed a new contactor and it would be an additional $450. I turned them down, then was told to pay an extra 2% fee to use my CC. These guys also left the panel of my outdoor unit off and parts disconnected when he left. Keep looking. I contacted another HVAC company who agreed to fix the problem for $150 and they wouldnt have charged a diagnostic fee unless they didnt find anything.

Do not use! They incorrectly installed a part I waited a week to arrive and caused a gas leak in my house. When confronted on the issue, they refused to return my money and stated that they gave me hot water so they had fixed my problem. Denied that the gas leak was an issue.

My electrician never showed for my appointment. No call, no email, just a no-show. I called the next day to find out what happened. Not sure who I spoke to but she may have been working from home because I could hear children yelling in the background. She took down a message and had the electrician call me back. According to him, he was not aware of my service request. He was never informed about my appointment. Said there must have been a miscommunication.

Work is great but I was surprised when they said the service fee was 79.00 and when I had the work done they didnt include the 79.00 in their price.

Worst experience ever! Williams & Fogg Services and the staff members that Ive made contact with by phone and in person have exhibited the poorest level of customer service to me from October 2015 until now except for PeeWee and Beverly. The mechanical and electrical work performed by this company in October 2015 has yet to pass any City of Richmond Inspection even though theyve been compensated. The technicians/supervisors in my opinion lack integrity (no follow-thru), accountability (everyone is clueless), and the office staff dont mind telling you whats not their job.On 12/11/15, the City of Richmond informed me that Williams & Fogg Services DOES NOT have a Contractors License to perform work in Virginia which was confirmed by Williams & Fogg staff. However, no one from the company has contacted me since Friday, December 11, 2015 with a proposal for resolving their failed inspections for my property.Williams & Fogg Services has a great sales pitch which is why I gave them my business but when I think about their quality of service and the time Ive missed from work trying to resolve this matter; it wouldve been more cost effective using businesses like Weather Crafters or Trent Electrical Co.

After calling a couple HVAC companies I called WIlliams and Fogg services. The lady that answered the phone was very professional and sounded like they wanted to help us. We had them come out to replace our A/C unit and we are glad we used Williams and Fogg Services
