I have been trailer camping for over 15 years and decided to try out an RV. The RV we rented from El Monte RV in short ruined our trip and confirmed why I will never rent from El Monte and never own a RV. When we showed up to rent the RV, I should have started to question the New 2021 RV when they could not get the fridge to cool and told me it takes 4 to 6 hours before you will notice it. As well, the AC would switch to heat which really caused issues when the west coast is experiencing 100 plus degree days. Nonetheless I trusted the person who walked me through the operations walk thru. As the week progressed the fridge finally failed and we lost all our food. The AC never work right either. And the biggest issue that final killed everything was when we ran our generator and started to smell gas to only figure out that the generator started to leak gas and the camper almost exploded. The circuit breaker would not shutoff the generator and I had to manually disconnect the generator from the battery and let the camper vent out for the night before we could try to start the camper. We also followed their roadside assistance program but they had no one to assist us camping in the north rim. The name they provided finally got ahold of us and said they only service the south rim. At the end of the day, I am thankful no one in my family died from this experience. FIND A DIFFERENT RV RENTER.

Nice and friendly service. RV was in good condition. Had a slight issue with damage with the RV but this was handled politely and the issue was resolved. Would recommend to others and intend to use again.

Great customer service and exceptional quality. This rental made for a great weekend and had everything we needed. Its not cheap but I wouldnt say its expensive either for what you end up getting. My only complaint at all is the outdated computer system that uses dos to run a credit card. Its a little less secure than Id prefer and it took multiple times to process a card Ive never had issues with. I will definitely be returning in the future.

First time renting an RV, the representative we had was very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed the RV and will definitely rent from El Monte again.

We loved renting from El Monte RV. We made our reservations about 90 days in advance. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. We took plenty of pictures of inside and outside of any current damage but it ended up being unnecessary. We rented for 2 weeks driving across country. No mechanical issues at all. Great customer service and overall experience, would rent here again.

It was my first time renting an RV so I was not sure what to expect but El Monte made it easy both on pickup and return. The RV had no issues and I would rent from them again. We had it for about a week in pretty cold weather but it was warm at night and drove fine.

Had a great weekend with the RV no issues with the vehicle. The customer service at the location was great. Will absolutely do buisness woth them again in the future

Horrible customer service experience. We had very specific needs for our reservation due to size constraints at our destination and a tight itinerary. Despite confirming all of our booking requirements days in advance and being told everything was in order, the RV we reserved was not available when we arrived. Cutting a long story short, instead of making efforts to right the wrong, management became intentionally obstructionist and unhelpful as we tried to work through alternative solutions that would satisfy our reservation needs. Management also insisted that we had to buy their insurance policy unless we had them listed as a party on our private vehicle insurance - in all our years of renting cars and RVs, we have never been required to do this. In summary, save yourself the stress, time and expense by avoiding this location if you need to rent an RV or vehicle.

Dont even bother calling these people. Horrible and outrageous rental prices. Its a rip off! You might as well buy the darn vehicle yourself and sell it later when you are done. I sincerely believe as a result of my experiences, businesses in Reno area dont know how to do business! Its not a surprise after all the state of NV is rated 50th out of 50 states in education! So, I rent from Cruise America, 80% cheaper!!!

I went for the Budget truck rentals. Nice people, get you in and out as quick as they can.

We rented an RV it was used badly we had to fix the table in it and when we returned it we got horrible costumer service and they tried to get us to pay for the windshield that already had chips in it. If you do decide to rent from them be sure to take pictures of the things that are damaged on your RV. now we are having to pay for a new windshield on this RV
