I bought a work trailer here and have since broken it and needed it modified. First of all the customer service is impeccable. They have helped me get the trailer to suit my needs and gone above in beyond in giving suggestions on how to keep it in good shape. They switched out my jack, reinforced welds, and gave suggestions on how to keep the gate even more solid. The trailer itself is solid, but the customers service will keep me loyal to them for all my needs!

Lost wheel and hub . 2019 Big Tex 14LX used probably 20 times . big tex decided to use a drilled axle for grease of wheel bearings the cheap sheet metal nut retainer failed wich let the hub ,wheel and bearing come off . this never would of happened if the axle was drill and a cotter was installed . do not by warranty does not cover axles . law suit waiting to happen .

Stopped by another facility and they told me they had no inventory and told me to come here. Sergio was awesome and was in and out in 1/2 hour with a Big Tex trailer.

Big Tex Trailer World was there when we needed them!!! We were driving our trailers to reno from manteca when we lost a tire and our hub was destroyed. I called Big Tex Trailer World to see if they could do anything for us. The lady who answered the phone was so amazingly nice and told us to bring the Trailer in to see if it would be a quick fix or not. When I brought it in everyone in the shop was so nice understanding and they fixed it on the spot. We were in and out in less than 45min. This is definitely the place to get your trailers fixed.

Trailer for an ATV, GREAT rig I checked others these are by far the best bang for your buck, tie downs, solid construction, etc...Then there is the staff Dave is the rep. he took care of everything, trailer was ready over the holidays, whole process was painless. My husband and I were looking for an enclosed trailer, we stopped at Big Tex as they were closing. Yes, it was right at 2 on a Saturday. They told us, they were closed. Their loss, we went 100 feet down the road to trailer plus and bought a $10,000 enclosed trailer on the spot. Trailer Plus was great, they got the sell and 5 stars.

I was passing threw with a uhaul trailer that was swaying all over the road. So I stopped in and purchased a new trailer to finish my trip to Wyoming. The Service was great and everyone was real nice and helpful and efficient. When they hooked up my trailer to my truck they told me a fuse was bad on my truck for the turn signals. I left and stating driving back to wyo. I stopped at dealer and had them check out all fuses we replaced one and the lights were still messed up. I called and they reassured me my trailer lights were checked and are good it was on my truck. So I got to salt lake and took my truck into dealer and had my plug pulled and rechecked everything. All was good so I took it to the nearest big Tex dealer and they checked my lights. They had to replace several burnt open wires that was on trailer to get my lights to work properly. I was not happy about driving from Reno to Utah and then spending 3 hrs in the middle of my trip to get wires that should have been check in Reno just to get to who safely

Awesome customer service and no-nonsense with the numbers had me buying a trailer in under 15 mins. Paperwork was a snap and they are being good enough to hold on to the trailer for me until I can sell my old one to make room. Very nicely done Big Tex.

I rarely give 5 stars to anyone, but back in April I bought a new dump trailer from these people. I live about an hour and a half away. The closer to me BigTex seller never returned my phone calls (after seeing them in person) about prices and some additional information.I decided to go to Reno and am very glad I did! They were amazing and made it very easy to purchase. I would recommend them to anyone. I dont know why some of the other reviews are so negative. I had a totally different experience with no pressure or hassles or headaches.

Had my driver lose brake Service on my 22gn. She pulled in to Big Tex and was taken care of right of way. . I was thinking the worse, but it turned out to be a loose wire. They were very honest , up front and fair priced. My driver was treated with respect , which is rare at some shops because she is a woman. I would highly recommend them and would return if we are in the area once again.

DO NOT BUY OR DEAL WITH BIG TEX TRAILER WORLD IN RENO.I purchased a brand new 24 Cargo Mate trailer back in April 2020. After very little usage it became very obvious that something was tweaked in the rear door. The rear cam bars that hold the door in place have bent four times now. Although not necessarily Big Texs fault, they have been absolutely horrible in assisting me in getting warranty work done. Four sets of cam bars and many months later, I took it to Big Tex on November 23rd, 2020 for them to inspect and see what repairs need to be done. I received a call today, November 24th saying it was ready. During this phone call I asked for a quick description about what was done on MY trailer. Donald (the manager) REFUSED to answer. I continued to head there anyway in hopes this was just a misunderstanding. I get there and Donald refuses to cooperate, refusing to give me any information on my trailer. When asked for any sort of paperwork saying it was dropped off and picked up, he stated that me hooking up to the trailer was paperwork. I told him I refused to leave without some form of documentation, where it then proceeded to become a screaming match and Donald refusing and threatening to tow my trailer. I will be taking this issue up with an attorney. DO NOT GO HERE.

Zoro star if I could ! My trailer needs just small piece part replace , 10 minutes job ! I called them at friday for getting appoinment but they said no need it, I waited all weekend for Monday then I went to shop but the guy told me he can give me Tuesday morning app. because they are too busy to change 10 minutes work. Why did not give me an appoinment when I called you ? No one wants to work these days. I have load I do not have another day to wait.

Awesome service and great pricing

Called these guys and went by a total of three times trying to get a price for a truck bed and a trailer. Never got a call back and if I was the owner of this place Id be pissed! Service was horrible. I told him I wanted the truck bed and trailer and I wanted a deal and that seemed to snicker I ended up driving to Utah and saved $1400 buying a Walton trailer they gave me a deal and dealing with them was great. Not only did I save money but I feel I got a better trailer.

We purchased a 14 trailer from the Big Tex Reno location for our RZR and were helped by Miguel, a knowledgeable, professional and patient salesman. On a road trip we lost a bolt to the leaf spring taking out the tire. Jeremy was great and very accommodating. They replaced the bolt, tire, rim and even painted the rock damaged fender. Thank you, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

Steam your trailer over to someone else.To say these people are terrible is being too polite a description. Im a reasonable guy. Im easy to do business with I also like to do business with people who are easy to do business with. The woman swore at me over the phone. I told her Obviously I have come to the wrong place. Customer service is not their strongest.I had a trailer there for an estimate to repair ( for the second time) and was going to purchase a new trailer from them, as Ive seen them and some of their ads for years but had no business dealings with them. Well with four trailers currently non purchased from them, I wont be going back. Save yourself some grief.If I could give them a negative star it would be minus 5 stars.

I live in Sacramento & have been looking for an Aluma MC10 Motorcycle trailer for a LONG time. Saw one on Craigslist in Reno. Called Miguel to install a spare tire and perform a pre purchase inspection on it before I bought it.. He was Very helpful and returned ALL my calls when I left messages. I could not get the owner of the trailer to take it to the shop for the inspection. Miguel heard my sob story and said let me see what I can do to get you a good deal on a new one from him. He got me a GREAT price and had the tire installed. The BEST part of this purchase was he said he was passing through Sacramento the next day and HE WOULD DELIVER it to me for no extra charge!! (2) The only reason they’re still in business is because they’re selling Big Tex name not because of the quality of service! I recently called about a trailer that has been listed for a very long time. The lady I spoke with was very rude/short with me and didnt answer very many of my questions. Doesnt seem like they want to sell trailers very bad. I would rather drive over to California than to spend my money there! Now I know why the trailer has been there for so long.

Steamboat Trailers is the ONLY place in town that I know who will build you a custom trailer EXACTLY how you want it, if they dont have it in stock. This is ALWAYS a GREAT thing to know when you either need some extra features to a trailer so that it suits you and your life style. Staff members are very helpful not to mention friendly. Your also NEVER obligated to purchase anything if you dont feel like it, nothing like a car lot!!!!

Driving through town I had a problem with my Big Tex trailer. They were able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem.

Would have bought a trailer here... I contacted the seller inquiring about photos for a stock trailer they had advertised on Craigslist. What I got was its just parked on the road, drive by if you want to see it. Just drove by almost a year later and its still for sale.

I came into Steamboat Trailers after seeing lots of Craigslist ads for new and used trailers. They had a big inventory. The prices were on the trailers, which is good because I had no idea what a trailer for my atvs and Polaris would cost. The prices at Steamboat were far better than what they had at the Polaris dealer. I got a very nice trailer and I am happy with it. The people were nice and they showed me how to load my avs on the trailer.

My wife and I went in ready to buy a flatbed. Waited a half hour for someone to help us. Asked a couple questions that the salesman couldnt answer, then he started to talk to someone else. We walked away. Take your business to someone who cares.

They did terrible work on my husbands trailer and charged us $600 for it. We took it to a different place in sparks where they re-did the work for $200. Big Tex refused to give us any of our money back. Skip this place.
